Last two years saw a rise in the number of ICOs that were soliciting for funds for the commencement of identified blockchain solutions. However the downslide of the crypto market has seen most ICOs failing because most of them don't have real product and very good use case behind them to enforce the liquidity of their tokens. Well i entreat you to invest with ICOs that have real working product which would always cause a constant demand of the utility tokens. This is the only way as investors you can also earn some profit from the project you invested into.

I know two of such projects which i am into and i would like you all to check it out.

ICO even with working product may fail. Look at banca. They had large community, they earned massive amount of money in ICO with 2 or more working products. Yet they are far away from success. That is why i prefer to buy after ICO and I buy at cheap, usually.

I agree with you. i don't look for for invest in ICO right now, prefer to buy after ICO more profitable because token price will cheap than ICO price.

Work product does not guarantee the project success. A lot of projects with really good working products failed and did not find a way to realize themselves.

ICOs that have a real working product are very rare, as a rule, projects which appear do not have even an MVP, not to mention a full-fledged working product, 95 percent of all projects that exist and even most top projects do not have it. Therefore, it is very important to invest only in projects that have a working product.

That's indeed, they have a working product doesn't mean if that is worth to invest. we must try to analyze the usefulness of the platform or product to the users. Banca has created a crap product and that's why it's getting fail.

If ICO has a working product it doesn't mean ICO will have success no, but ICO with the working product has much more chances to have that success and more important is we see ICO has real-life usability, so ICO with just whitepaper and promises don't have this advantage, one of the projects with already working product is a Moozicore.

Usage is much prefer, though there's a working project but still if that is not usable then investors still at risk, the support might come when the project
really delivered, who knows what project will excel coming from those ico's who offers great deal and usable platform, for me, one example is binance coin who offer ico before and now its really working as one of the best exchange, if that counts not sure.

It's really hard to know in which point the price is the lowest. There are ICOs which were never gone down after their ICO and there are so many project which are still very down than the ICO price they had. I personally invested with some ICOs when there were ICO hypes everywhere but with most of them I am far down than my expectation.

mmh, did you even read all those comments that were left before you? Stop spamming with some non-sense agree/disagree type comments. Instead explain why you agree in details with some valid points.

I agree, It's already a great thing if they have a working project as :-

- You can see what you are investing into, not just imagining what the potential is through the white paper (still read the white paper though). You can see the positives and the negatives to the system they already have in place.

- It shows that they have invested time, effort and money even before the ICO. There are too many ICOs that just write a white paper and create a nice website and start raising. The Product shows that they are committed and they want it to succeed.

Of course you still need to do your research into the team, the white paper and what they are trying to achieve with their system, but a working product really bumps up the value of it.

i found that most of the ico's that already have a product tend to collect more compare to the others that have yet to create.

Atleast you can guarantee that they will develop somethings, unlike other project that take 1 year or more to create their first product, investing in an ico with product already will give you assurance.

I don't have any mind whether I should invest or not since I used my funds only for trading. After all, investing to an ICO need a whole research before doing that.

Participating on projects with working product is not a sure fire way of getting profit, it just increases the chance. An example of a project that have working product but still turn out to be a scam is Sobit. 

It will be very difficult for starter ICO company who want to create their products from scratch.
They don't have any products yet, therefore they have to raise the funds from investors to make products.
Having an existing product won't guarantee that ICO will become success in the future.

it has a once in a blue moon chance that the ICO has a working product. and not all of it has a success. I don't know how the investor risk their money on the ICO without a working product and turn success. Anyway, not my problem at all. most of my token is invested after the ICO. it was cheaper the the ico price.

I think there should be a clear definition of Working product, I have seen some guys pop up on this forum soliciting for funds and claiming they have a working products, if you have a working product and no one is using it, it is more or less useless for investors to invest into it. What we need in this space is adoption, people are not using these platforms and it is a major concern to me

I do believe that that is the reason why many of us lose money in this icos market.  We were investing in idea instead of investing into a working project or product!  I believe that we should also invest into projects that has been listed in the market.

I prefer to keep away from ICOs now during the downtrend. It doesn't matter with or without working product. The real problem is that every token/coin, which is getting listed nowadays is being dumped very much. So it's better to save funds till the real bull run.

It seems OP is still assuming that cryptos are here just to rotate our investments like a multilevel marketing. When an ICO is not having a working product or a solution for a problem then from where they will generate money to have a business.

Overall, all ICOs are based on some project or business and all business must have some concept to generate money. This is what simply denoted as working product. Without that, an ICO is just a money rotating scheme.

with the working product ICO investment can get success but It wont rise the price of the token as they will be working on their product and they wont be interested in the price of their token. As i have seen lot of project which got very good investment in ICO but their price is 90% down from the ICO price. So everything depend on whether they are interested in the profit of the token investors or not.

Not every ICO that have a working product is a must invest in ICO, there is a lot of failed ICO that had a working product, in fact, a lot of outside companies miss used this to collect unneeded money, they usually take there already fully working product and threw in some Crypto terms and make an ICO and raise millions of dollars and probably only 10% will be spent on development because they have nothing to develop, they already have 100% working project.

Ideally a working product should be the minimum criteria for investing any blockchain-based or cryptocurrency project because a working product with at least show that the team is so invested in the project that they have used their own money to make it a reality even before the fundraising phase.

Sorry to say, I would not invest in a project, which has a product or not. Because, They don't care about investors money, after getting a decent fund, they change rules, distribution, exchange listing date more and more time. They have no plan about protecting coin price, though it is not in their hand! I have lost a big amount of money in ICOs, so, in this bear market, a product will not help you to reach success easily. Look at Vividcoin and miracletele! They have products as you mentioned but still, they are not even close to success! Both project's ICO is running from the last year!

ICO that has real products can indeed affect investor confidence. Real products are certainly very important because these products will continue to be developed so that they can attract investors. Unlike some ICO projects that don't have real products. But all also depends on the work of the Team and ICO Project Developers.

I do agree with you. I was a supporter of Banca, but their marketing strategy wasn't good enough! They did not come with a good bounty campaign and any other marketing policy! Though Banca raised a good amount of money, but as a product base, they are not a successful project!

Sadly, ICOs have a high rate of failing, and a working product only decreases this by a little bit. Without a user base and demand, even with a working product the project might die.

I think you are right here. I am interested to invest in a project which already has enough fund to run their products. Without funded or working products, I will not invest in ICOs anymore. Because, in 2018, Billions of dollars were hacked and scammed from the people. A project with the product means they will not scam you, even you can expect your money back if they can't make soft cap!

A project with working product or app tells you that they are capable of delivering results even without the collected funds from the users.
With this kind of foundation, this is not easy to dissolve. They will try to compete and survive because they invested their own funds and time to this project.

Still there's no guarantee that they will continue or develop their product based on the needs of their costumer .

Having a working product is a good stepping stone for ICOs, however, it is not a guarantee that it can survive for a long time. Having a good number of supporters and investors will keep the project from growing and surviving. That's why keeping an active and healthy community will keep the project going.

I agree with you that some of the icos in the past year don't have working product and some of them just do it after  having funds in the ico. I usually invest my money in icos that have a good plan in their product and much better if we invest in a ico that will have a daily use of their product. If we just put money on many ico's without knowing what they offer. It's like we are giving our hard money to them.

Just in the cryptocurrency industry, there are a lot of fools who are happy to part with their money investing in projects that really STINK of scam. Yes, it doesn't guarantee for the ICO that have a working product can get success after they pass every phase on the roadmaps. They still need to work hard to get more investor or buyer to buy their product, and it's not easy to do. Besides that, they should compete with the other ICO that might have a similar product, and in the end, people will give their reviews about which one that will be a good product.

I think investing in a working project is profitable and it will be a long run investment but its better to look deeper in the projects goal and how it works  and then you can judge if its really worth investing ;)

This is the reason why we must choose and contribute to the ICO which is having unique products/solutions so that they might be having better chances to become successful and their token will sustain with better price levels. Working project might be just an eligibility criteria for choosing an ICO but it will never guarantee that we can make profits with that ICO. Moreover, many scam devs had just showed some working model and then stayed inactive which ended up investors go losing all their money. Lets say that there is an ICO that wants to sell milk and they say that if you buy milk with their coin "Milco" you get it 10% cheaper.

But since reports say that many fake ICOs have cheated many investors, and I am one of them, I am tired of even hearing ICOs. Many ICOs fail and most ICOs have functional products. I think the success of the ICO is determined by investors and to attract investors' attention. Of course that must be done by the developer. Developers must have a good strategy so that fundraising can get a lot of funds.

Well you are so right but mind you, do you know that ICOs with working products do fails too?in the past many good projects have died due to one reason or the other but mostly is lack of funds but to be on safer side always hunt after the ones with working product

Everything is uncertain. ICO with a completely product may fail in price but at least they have real product. ICO with incompetence product may success ini price but they don't have a product yet. Fail or success is just based on how you look it.

I regret that I did not participate in Miracle Tele bounty campaign and token sale. Probably the only one ICO that survived bear market without any problems :(.

That's indeed, the scammer will always try to use the fake identity by stole the others picture from the linkedin or internet. There was a lot of scammers were doing it before.
But location can't be determined as a strong indicator to determine the ico, you should see the community behind it.

In as simple question, why would you invest on a project that doesn't even have a purpose or product? I guess what we are looking here is something that can make the world a better place to live in. yes, indeed it would be safer to buy after ico and see the products they offer, is it selling or not in the market? if yes, then investment there will be a good long-term project.

It is fair to mention projects with an existing product. But in modern market conditions this is not enough. What matters is the quality of the product, and who promotes it. Everything should be checked and investigated, the fraudster does not sleep.

There is utility for its tele token such as buying telecom services but sometimes we hear about a project and just get floored by its concept and we end up buying into it. Not to generalised, this has happened to me a lot, silent notary, humanscape, quantum1net. There some solid projects that are just pretty hard to overlook.

You should take a look first the best ICOs that have a fundamental structure and the best developer before you invest in ICOs, i prefer to invest during the ICOs it gives me more big bunos from my investment before checking their background first.

A few years ago we could say that the majority of that ICO would be successful, they had great potential and were suggesting quite nice ideas. However, nobody knew that cryptocurrencies will drop down so fast. The current situation is a bit different, we have another market situation right now in which you should stubbornly analyze your investments and think twice before providing your funds to somebody.

The project itself matters in the token sale for smart investors. Buying the token just for adding more HYPE is not a smart way to get in the ICO and the scam projects know or use this info for their own goals.

I am not usually putting my investment during the ICOs even they are offering huge of bonus for their investors it is because the price during ICOs is so much expensive, i am only buying after the ICOs i can buy only in cheap price.

As far as I know, crypto projects that have a working product until now is only project that offer crypto exchange platform. I see many icos are interesting and have a real implementations in real life blockchain solution. But everyone is realized crypto is a game of waiting. Patience create wealth.

Ico that has no working product or service to offer will only become a pump and dump coin, just like those listed in Yobit, as you can see those coins that are listed in the top 15 in the market, they got there because there is a working product which the community support.

Its not a 100% guarantee that ICO project will become successful if theres a working product. Some projects  are still failing after its ICO ended and literally failed due to lower price than the ICO stage. I think the main reason is that many investors are dumping after hitting exchanger.

ICO with real products does not guarantee success but has great potential compared to ICO which is still in the product development stage, make sure the team has expertise in their fields so that the product can function perfectly

If you invest in a finished product, then the chance to make a profit is more than to invest in an idea, but the profit will be much less. I know the Exolover project which has a product and patents, but now their coin is being traded on the market 700 times cheaper than ISO.

you should always check into ICOs working product to determine its eligibility and legitimacy, check its technology - is a security plan outlined? have previous bugs/problems been resolved? Is code open source with activity in GitHub? Is there a prototype and how is that going? Then, check their solution - What solution does the project solve? Is the problem real and the solution feasible? If these things, checkout that's when you decide if you're gonna invest or not. now, mentioning where and when to invest, I'm gonna personally reccommend to invest in Bitrus (BTRS),FILES.FM(FFM) and Windhan ICO.

This s just the major disadvantage with a decentralized system though its advantages overruns its disadvantages, those few years ago that you mentioned, we all had little understanding of the block chain technology and ever since everyone grabbed the knowledge, majority of people see it as an opportunity to make fortune out of it and not looking at the system function itself and because we all saw it as just an avenue to make money.

This gave birth to many scams taking advantage of the system by duping investors and creating a bad project that will in turn become shitcoins. We just need to start seeing the objective of the block chain technology other than its investment view.

Indeed. For ICO not to be dead and replaced by STO there should be a perfectly working product so they can reassure the investors money. May i know where to find that ICOs? Bitrus , files.fm and windhan? I might choose to invest with or invest on them all.

This is what makes my standard high on investment, there should be an assurance for me and to all my fellow investors so product must be presentable and working.

Because this is the most safe way of how to get profit. If a project already has a working product, the money that people are investing are going to be used for further development where the devs won't start by zero.
