Funds Rehabilitation  procedure

KarpelesCoin shares the same addressing scheme than BTC. So, there is 2 scenarios, depending on if MtGox(cryptorush) affected controls the BTC address from/to which affected performs deposits/withdrawals to/from MtGox:

1) Affected controls usual deposit/withdrawal addresses.

This is the address from which or to which affected performs deposits or does withdrawals to MtGox (or cryptorush), depending on the case. In this case, court proofs, forensic data, blockchain analysis etc will pointed out your BTC lost and we will do automatically the Fund Rehabliltation, sending the BTC amount x 10 KARs to address proved to be affected by tx-maleability negligence.

2) Affected doesnt control withdrawal/deposit addresses :

In this case, we are going to deploy a form in www.karpelescoin.org in a few days in order to collect Rehab Requests. Info required:

- BTC address (* required):

1)  withdrawal address: address which you hoped to receive your withdrawal from Mtgox/cryptorush wallet and was affected by tx-id maleability incompetence.

OR

2)  deposit address: address from which you sent a BTC  deposit to Mtgox/cryptorush wallet, and Mtgox lost in tx-malleability, bad practice or delictive managament of funds.

That is the law of supply and demand; investors consciously purchase coins thinking into their own benefit; it is not illegitimate to use that law.

Problem IS the investors buying Krapeles through IPO would get 100 Krap for every 1BTC and you are proposing the 'victims' get 10 Krap for every 1BTC lost. The investors would be the winner not the 'victims'.




IF the price reaches .043 then investors will dump 100 Krap for 4.3BTC making a profit of 3.3BTC. If i was an investor, i would dump at .02 and double my BTC and so would other investors, hence the price will never reach .043. Let me to do know for you why this scheme will be profit for investor and affected.

Later, after launch and after rehab starting, an affected, named Constantin, RECEIVES an ammount of 1,220 KARPELES after of have been proved that and address from MtGox had done withdrawals to his address of yours and MTGox is leaked that a id-tx to his address was changed to another, losing 120 BTCs Constatin has not paid nothing for KARPELES it was somehow a donation for carring on the Mtogox negligence. It is not valid to compute the LOST BTCs like investemtn !!!

At 2 Jun, KARPELES is priced 0.2 BTC. At this moment, only a few people purchased IPO (most of them was destroyed, re-valued coin) so, Josepdhine sells out 100 KArpeles for 20 BTCs, getting 2000% RoI with a bit investment of 1 BTC. Prices rise to 0.6 BTC, because only a few people purchased  KARPELES in IPO, and Constatiin sells out  1,220 KARPELES, getting for it 244 BTC, a 100% additional over 120 BTC lost bt MTGox. Constatin really DID NOT INVEST in KARPELES[, so it is not comparable with IPO. IPO is an OFFER, the words does say it.

Josephine won 19 BTC for 100 KARPELES, investing only 1 BTC, with near to 2000% profit.

KarpelesCoin shares the same addressing scheme than BTC. So, there is 2 scenarios, depending on if MtGox(cryptorush) affected controls the BTC address from/to which affected performs deposits/withdrawals to/from MtGox:

1) Affected controls usual deposit/withdrawal addresses.

This is the address from which or to which affected performs deposits or does withdrawals to MtGox (or cryptorush), depending on the case. In this case, court proofs, forensic data, blockchain analysis etc will pointed out your BTC lost and we will do automatically the Fund Rehabliltation, sending the BTC amount x 10 KARs to address proved to be affected by tx-maleability negligence.

2) Affected doesnt control withdrawal/deposit addresses :

Whilst KAR is only $563 (which in part is because there are so few coins out due to premine for rehabilitation), I believe It has the potential to be worth so much more.  There is yet to be an effective crypto aid for Mt.Gox victims and technically I think this coin has the potential, it just lacks the marketing polish it needs to propel it into the public eye and earn their trust.

If we on this forum can convince the dev to take on this website and branding package, the coin might stand a chance of severing its laudable purpose.

I am replying here after a few severely disappointing PMs exchanged with the dev.

I wanted to warn about the screenshot malleability risks and propose instead message signing as a proof of Gox balances, using the leaked database.

I dislike my email being spammed, so I PMed the OP with a signed message pointing to a tx (gox deposit) that uniquely identifies my account and then the balance of that account. S/he replied claiming that I proved nothing and stubbornly insisting in screenshots. These PMs have nothing private from either part, so I reproduce them here below.
