Ok, it is not what you are thinking. Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme, but the UK series "How To Get Rich Quick - Season 1 episode 3 includes some footage of a rich entrepreneur, Dave Fishwick, creator of Bank of Dave, discussing Crypto currencies as one investment option to become rich.

Luckily for us, the Bitcoin price at the time, generated a small profit when that episode was shot and he even commented that the profit he made then, were the equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local Bank.

I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year) - Go watch the series, it is full of good tips for the budding entrepreneur out there.  ;) <It is also not focusing on Crypto currencies, but all the methods that can be used to increase your wealth>  8)

that is the nature of new technologies and investment in something with huge potential. it is like buying Apple shares at 1 cent! bitcoin is not meant for getting rich quick but because of its massive growth it is going to offer that for a long time as the growth and adoption continues happening.


it is hard for me to calculate how much profit i have made since i have bought and earned bitcoin on all prices from $500 in 2014 down to $200 in 2015 and up to $20000 in 2017. so i guess the maximum profit is at 9900% at the moment ::)

I took the average of the different profits I made, since I started buying bitcoins on a regular basis. A lot of the coins that I own now, was not coins that I bought, but rather coins that I received for work that was done. (My work pay a percentage of my wages in Bitcoin)

It is just nice to see that mainstream movies and series are slowly shifting their focus from "Bitcoin being bad" to "Bitcoin being good" and that is exactly what we need now.  ;)

Bitcoin price is rocky, but it brings a lot of opportunity. Doors open for crypto person.

I'm sure that those who thinks that bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme have understand that it's not how it works. But it's really a good investment if you're willing to risk, how much money you wanted to invest and when to book profits. I think my profit is around 800% as well, as I have been buying them when the price is < 4 digits and book some profits in December 2017.

The name of this topic makes me laugh ;D  Although I believe that Bitcoin should rise strongly until the end of 2019, I still would not make such statements. Money cannot be made quickly. And if someone tells you about this, then it means that you are most likely deceived or they say this with some kind of purpose. Anything can happen, so it will hope for the best, but it will also be prepared for the worst!

This is possible before but right now, its too hard to earn at least $1k if you don't work for it. Early investors are now a multi millionaire, and that is because of bitcoin. Its too sad because we are late but I know the market will grow again in the future so we still have to save. There is no easy money now, not unless you're greedy then you will do everything just to get easy money.

There is no easiest way to riches, one should be ready to risk to attain success in life and so does riches, so invest in bitcoins and wait for the prices to go up then you will be able to earn profits from investing in bitcoins, as this bitcoins are highly volatile in nature and we need to show patience inorder for the price to boom in the crypto currency market. The price of bitcoins will start to rise soon before the next halving so there are more chances for the investors to get more and more rich so better to invest now to earn more profits.

You deserve all the success for your patience, trust, and determination. I truly believe that it was really difficult to invest your resources into something foreign, unknown, and relatively new at that time. I'm assuming that you did your research before acting and all of which are compensated today.

Those who get in and hodl their Bitcoin, in 2017 are so lucky to make money they are just lucky at the right time when Bitcoin is skyrocketing, these people believe and they are rewarded handsomely, this is not the first that it's going to happen because there will be more to come, yes Bitcoin is a get rich scheme if you believe and support it's adoption that is my take.

Thanks for the inspiration OP. Only, I would still caution about this idea that profit is guaranteed. I still get terrible looks from people who know I use Bitcoin even to buy stuff online. They all tell me to be careful and I tell them I know, but how to blame them if they always see it as being advertised as how to get rich quick?

I do hope for the sake of those who entered at 20k that you're right and that they are patient. But they must be hated by people who followed them. I feel bad for these guys!

I can't support the idea that Bitcoin is easy and quick way to get rich because that is simply not true and sounds like bad scam attempt.
It's good that Bitcoin was mentioned and promoted in that show but the fact that It's being connected with fast profit could do it more harm than benefit. And at the end many will get disappointed, again.

Yes I agree, having skills on trading is not enough to  win against the volatile market sometimes you need to be lucky and this is the reason why some people benefited so much last 2017, they are on the right time on the market. However that event did not make them wealthy but a well beneficiary.

True, we shouldn't treat bitcoins as some get-rich-quick scheme but indeed, the increase in value is more than one will get in a bank savings. My bank practically just give me dimes a month. Even when just holding and not actively buying and selling, the increase over time is more any bank can offer.

is it just me or lately TV is starting to be filled with cryptocurrency related contents? initially it was only news when they constantly talked about bitcoin whenever its price was rising and during its bubble but nowadays it seems like there are a lot of documentaries, TV series,... that are focusing on bitcoin and other alternatives. and the contents seem to be getting better too, it is not yet the best because they are still focusing mostly on the drama rather than technology and what bitcoin represents but we are slowly getting there.

i remember watching tv shows with him in years ago and was like, his credit union was an ok business model but the guy.. well he wasnt going far enough into the opportunities around him.

i a few years back was thinking of getting involved and expanding his credit union into many towns. but just felt he wasnt quite hitting the mark. but glad to see he is evolving

good to see he is expanding, but feel he is more of an average joe that just happen to have grasped a good business model. rather than a well prepped decision making guy thats well researched to have a structure of a great business model

I rarely watch TV shows and series but this seems to be a good watch. Most investing and entrepreneurial shows are showing the wealth of the guest speaker without iterating on the strategies used by them that lead to their success. Some are just plugging and giving free advertisement to the guest speaker's businesses which is quite a bummer. While this is public exposure and is probably getting to the eyes and ears of audiences from all over the UK and the world, it's sad to see that people only focus on the investment side of bitcoin and not see it as a currency that it was intended to be. But then again, growth is growth.


To grab the attention of the audiences and to still be talked about by the public, though generally people will just refer to the internet for their queries and questions regarding that they have seen on TV.

Its a fact that bitcoin is a get rich scheme bearing in mind that its a long term investment i.e you made over 800% as profits over a span of four years which is actually a long term however new entrant or newbies wanted a 'get rick quickly' which is absolutely untenable in a short term perspective, long term investors had already millionaires having invested at the early stage of bitcoin.

We are living in a world where the society is the major cause of influence and sadly, the society most of the time are wrong. Why dont we listen to those successful people telling real stories with their real income and real experiences? I have read numerous successful people getting huge profit in crypto and there are still these people who talks negative things about it. Life.

Crypto and Bitcoin are the "get rich quick" scheme for those mainstream shows, and that's nothing surprsing. There are different shows which are even more ridiculous so it tends to happen within the mainstream. On the other hand, any exposure is good for Bitcoin. So all is fine, let them talk bullshit for as long as they can.

If you check out most of the scam websites which are well known as HYIP and mining and investment, all are registered with domain SSL validation from GB(Great Britain) which belongs to UK.

Now, this is another part, but many times having knowledge can give a huge breakup. If anyone does a deep study, can easily learn the theory of multiplication of investment by using Bitcoin platform.

Bitcoin is a really great platform offering an investment opportunity for everyone who supports it. Surely Bitcoin has given tremendous returns to those who invest and believe. But in the meantime, much wrong advertising done to the community, which have already impacted on an entire environment of upcoming technology.

Now TV shows are a bit advanced media to reach to a mass audience, along with awareness of information and upcoming technologies.

But people have to use own intelligence and research before making any investments in crypto.

That is what people out there will think because they see what was happen with bitcoin in 2017 and 2018. But the truth is, bitcoin is not like what they see. The price will still moving from up to bottom and will change in every day so they can not say that bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme without they know what is inside of bitcoin market.

But the OP needs a long time before he can make 800%+ profit and I don't think that many people can do that because we need a big patient to wait for the bitcoin go to the highest price. Still, having a bitcoin is a long journey before we can make the biggest profit and it's not for all people who can do that thing.

That 800% profits is the experience of those who got in earlier before 2017 and sold out they holding during the hype of 2017, as a good entrepreneur you most constantly look out for viable ground to put your capital and yield huge profits which always co.es with time. Bitcoin is one investment which can make you rich at any given time.

You only think about the profits but what about the losses ?  Yes its volatile and we can possibly earn thru it but not all times the valur can rise or pump because most of the times the value prefer to stay at a certain price point  .


Crypto/bitcoin is not a get rich scheme because it takes a year or two in order to see a massive gain on the price  but after the pumping of price , the price can also go down slowly  . it can return again after several years of waiting  .

You can hear many sob stories about people who "lost it all" in bitcoin, but these are the ones who bought toward the end of a bull market and rode it all the way back down. You can find individuals like this in any market... the media loves to highlight old people who (for some bizarre reason) have all their retirement money tied up in the stock market still, and then liquidate it all at the bottom of a market crash. Most people don't have the temperament to be savvy investors. And it makes sense, because as human beings, our brains are wired to follow the herd. If a market is rising, we pile in. If it's falling or flat, we rush for the exit. Sometimes that's for good reason. But this isn't some kind of silly penny stock. Blockchain technology has the potential to change the world. Anyone who invests a modest amount of money now may be rich in a couple more years. Very exciting times for crypto.

Well in some term you need to be in the right place at the right time and eventually you will hit jackpot. With bitcoin you are never certain but if you are patient and not to fall on fake signals on market. So far every time when halving comes people get extra money. Option buy now while it still cheap and then wait for halving to price jump then sell after some time price go down you buy again and this is cycle that been running so far.

Yes, the bitcoin situation is very unstable and still low, but if you dare to buy large amounts of bitcoin now there is no mistake if you do it.
and you're just waiting for bitcoin to rise in the next few years to reach the highest prices, and all of them need a process but sometimes the process can provide a short luck process or a long process all depends on your patience.

This is a great eyes opening about investments in this time that both stocks and commodities like oils are not giving good returned! I believe that investing into bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market is one of the Best investments decision we can make.  I believe investing into cryptocurrencies is far better than investing in fixed deposit as no bank can actually give that type of great return that bitcoin has given in the last five years. 

There is no get to rich scheme in bitcoin or anywhere.
Nobody become rich overnight but after a long period of study, preparation, research, hard work.
Even people who joined bitcoin 10 years ago had to wait long time to become rich here, and had ton show their faith and trust in bitcoin.
So, we should be realistic here and have long term goals.
It's good advice also to try other investment projects or businesses, don't count only on one thing. 

Ive learned that there is no such thing as a get rich quick in crypto.   
Anything promising get rich overnight more then likely a scam and is not to be taken seriously.
If crypto was really a get rich quick scheme, I think that more people would have exited knowing they already made the maximum potential.

People have a thinking about bitcoin as the quick rich scheme, which isn't the truth. Out of such a thinking more users have lost big, because they have a mentality that knowing bitcoin itself makes them rich. I will watch the series to see for myself but then while bitcoin can be a get rich way to make quick money, it can also make you broke in split seconds. There are lots of people who invested in bitcoin when price has already been pumped thinking it will be pumped further and ended up making huge losses. So in as much as bitcoin can make you rich quick it can also make you broke quick. The best way is making your analyisi carefully before investing in bitcoin or any other crypto you desire. Bitcoin is a get rich quick means to make money if only you play your cards well.

This is indeed a not so easy way to become rich especially now that we are still on a dumped market. Newbies think this way, all they know is to make easy money so when they lose they will be more disappointed. 800% profit for 4years is awesome but it's very small there are people who profit more than that out there, well in the past few years it was fortunate that the price of bitcoin was cheap by the way so I really believe there are people who get 800% profit for 4 years because there is that more to it. investing in bitcoin is indeed very profitable especially with long term hodl

I always have the assumption that BTC can create wealth quickly, but now I am aware, and understand that BTC is not a scheme to get rich quickly.

That assumption, I got when BTC was bullish quickly in 2017, and reached a value of 20K. I was fooled by the BTC chart.

I agree with you, almost everyone who got into bitcoin wants to become rich real quick but that doesn't work like that. Cryptocurrency is one of the best investment but it takes too much risk and its not guaranteed profit and might get you rekt but if it works it will make you really rich.

One lessons I learned before joining the crypto space is that crypto is not a get rich quick avenue. If it were to be so, probably most of the people here would have reached their self-actualization need on the pyramid. There are times within the crypto market where prices go down for investors to buy more and there are times when prices go up for investors to sell and make profit. What makes the difference here is the capability to recognize these times in order to make the buy and sell orders.

Truly, the world of crypto currencies where Bitcoin was there is that a world full of misteries and surprises. It entails a lots of efforts to have or gain Bitcoin. Truly, when that certain entrepreneur have invested in Bitcoin, the Bitcoin has a good state in the crypto market. LUcky for you early adopters because the capital you invested is surely profiting now even how deep the market is,but those who enters few years ago is untill now dealing in losses and struggling to atleast recover their funds,but ofcourse things are different for the people that has a trust for the cryptocurrency as we taking advantage this dip now and buying as much as we can afford

Thank you for your shared your experience and useful information about the cryptocurrencies as one investment opinions to become rich and i agree with it because only in the cryptocurrencies we can make profit 200% per year even more than on other instrument of investment such as stock or forex, for me don't think about the money, always think where the money will goes and it will goes to cryptocurrencies.

But even if considered a different niche based TV series, when Bitcoin's name gets used in front of such broad audience then it is definitely going to get some exposure not to forget those millions of people watching it and these guys saying all this about crypto. I don't think that's a nice definition of crypto among youth but the name used in it is enough to show what crypto has gained since its evolution. That's true that none of the banks can compete against Bitcoins and I truly say that BTC is not a currency but a bank in itself.

I think he made the right decision venturing every possible way to gain profit. Investing in crypto is not different in other investment opportunity existing out there because it is associated with risk.

In my case I dont rely with my income here in crypto, its important to have an alternative sources to increase your profit to sustain or even surpass the money you need each month.

I've tried out different stock trading platforms, but when I compare them to cryptocurrency trading platforms, I find that there's way less 'hassle' to just trade with cryptocurrency.

Just think about it, I can always withdraw my profits instantly, just because I'm not dependent on bank to process the transaction.

As a matter of fact there is no easy way to get rich instantly but it may happen if you hit the jackpot prize in lottery or in gambling. But, by just using bitcoin you need to work hard and put all your effort on making money with bitcoin. I think if you want to become rich in the future you should invest in bitcoin.

Well I think that this post would have made more sense when the price of BTC was at around $15000 after falling from $19k .
People were dumping shitload of money into bitcoin those days which had lead to a sudden surge in price. People did not understand that it is not a get rich quick scheme and later bitcoin fell down to $15000.
This made people realize their mistake. I guess people should believe in the technology before investing in bitcoin just for the sake of money.

I dont know why most people complain about Dave Fishwick statement when he said bitcoin is a way to get rich quick which i believed it a hype statement in other to make boost up investors, we said we need some advertisement which will make people see the bright side of bitcoin and he's doing it for us all.

Well, hodling is something you can always do. It's much better if you actually build up a business and hodl Bitcoin at the same time. Even better, build up a Bitcoin related business and contribute to the ecosystem here, which eventually will favor your investment in Bitcoin as well.

On the other hand, it's not that easy to hodl through a 50-100% pump for most people, especially if the price starts to go down and they realize that they were better off cashing out.

There is a way to force yourself to hodl though, which is by utilizing a feature called timelock. It's rather extreme and not without potential side effects, but hey, if you truly believe in Bitcoin but not in yourself, this is definitely an option to consider.

800% within 4 years isn't quick scheme to me. I think its regular scheme. Whoever want to make 800% within day or week they are on quick rich method. But your method is best with low risk. Most likely you bought bitcoin on dip and sold it on bull market. This isn't not bad idea as well. Finding quick rich method on bitcoin will stupid attempt. Bitcoin able to give regular profit if you have enough patience.

Bitcoin is not an instant way to get rich. It not a magic that will eventually turns you into a millioner. If you want to get rich through Bitcoin, you need a lots of efforts and exerts hardworks to gain Bitcoins on your own and not to just relay on the Bitcoin itself because we all know that Bitcoin has a very unstable state in the crypto market.

It's more of a luck to get instantly rich. There is no way to really become one except when you have probably won on a lottery or perhaps have found a treasure of gold or whatsoever. Yet having more money do not make you are really rich person, It is hard work and your successful planning that will lead you there. There are no shortcuts and it would be the sweetest if you finally rich the top with all the hard work and preparations.

I think depending on your point of view, as workers and employees get rich in 4 years, of course including a fast time seeing the small income that I have, but as a boss of course 4 years with 800% profit is a long time, a trader can benefit as big as that in less than a month #imo

The 800% in 4 years was just a personal example of the rewards that can be gained, if people can resist the urge and pressure to sell their coins. We are being bombarded with FUD about Bitcoin failing and also tempted with cheap consumer goods on a daily basis and it takes guts to resist the temptation to use or sell those coins.  ;D

Make sure you find a good balance between hoarding and selling coins prematurely, because it might cost you a lot of profit in the future. I spend only 20% of all the coins that I buy on a regular basis.  ;)

Thats right, 4 years for only 800% in bitcoin is long time. We can get more than that in 4 years with daily trading if we have knowledge how to be a smart trader. And sometime when the price pumping we can get 100-200% just in hours no need years to get 800% profit. But also we can lose much money when price down so fast and you are right, patience is key here when bitcoin price dump.

A lot of things has been said about bitcoin like it is future money, it can transfer the money from one place to another within secs, it has low transaction fee etc but the statement that bitcoin is get rich quick scheme is totally wrong. Bitcoin can be used as a payment method but you cannot say that only bitcoin will make your rich quickly.
Yes, if you hold bitcoin for long term, you can gain good money.

That's how the price moves here, that's why we love in crypto because it's possible to make a fortune here.

It could be in short term or long term but what's the main thing that will drive the price uptrend or pump going to the moon is the speculation and the hype.
I don't believe on other people saying that we will never see a x10 or x100 increase in the market anymore like in the past, it's because crypto is still young.

I also respect this positive but this positive seems to have spread at a speed too fast, it lacks the surrounding processes and difficulties with making money with bitcoin, that makes many people illusion and the feeling that bitcoin is a way to get rich quick. I used to have a marijuana and alcohol problem. I remember earning $USD50 worth of bitcoin for a programming job I did. The price was $250. I remember selling my bitcoins right away because I wanted to buy beer and weed. Not only do you actually have to buy bitcoin, but you have to be good with your money;  you have to not have any problems spending your money on junk/addictions, including gambling.

There is no such thing as a "get rich quick" scheme. The simplest and most effective way to get rich is to work a Bitcoin job (for your investments) and working at say a temp agency or other low-level job. This way, you have an income of both crypto and fiat currencies and you simply cannot spend any of your money on addictions, such as gambling, cigarettes, alcohol or drugs. drug/gambling addicts never have any money anyway.

Everything in moderation is okay, but addiction will lead you to bankruptcy like it did in my case.

Actually, the title of your thread attract me to read your content. 800% profit for four years is really huge and is something we should envy for. I'll go watch Dave Fishwick as you've mentioned that there are a lot of tips how he did achieved that profit. We can gain some working strategies from him. Anyway, thanks for informing us.

hahaha, you are right, a lot of people only read the title and they think they know what is the post about. I will search that chapter, i haven't seen that program before but to find ways to become rich is always a good way to invest time.

Bitcoin as a whole is not a quick riches. But there are exceptions when you bought it a few years ago at a considerably lower price than it is today and you sold it at its peak. Of course, if you have big investments, it can be a big profit. But if you are a small investor, you are entitled to small profits. The maximum value of bitcoin does not occur every year.

There is always the danger of people reading past the message, and concentrating on the topic, jus as most traders are bought over the possibility of outrageous returns in a short space of time.
I have spoken to many young people interested in trading, cryptocurrency or forex, what most have in common is the idea that one can turn over huge profits right off the bat, which is not true.

Investing time could get back an assured return, but as in the Op it is not possible to get back promised 200% return out of cryptocurrency on an expected scale. If lucky one can invest today and get rich by tomorrow.

You're just really lucky that when you invested in bitcoin, it is still not doing an astonishing bullrun. Bitcoin is just speculated to be a highly valued asset so people got the FOMO. There's no accurate method to get rich quick in my opinion, it just happens that some big risk give you big rewards.

well, if you think about it, there are so many ways to get rich, but in reality it's not easy. many ways, but not all of them will go according to what we think. therefore, hard work is needed. even many people who become rich in bitcoin, but full of hard work.

Did you read the thread at all apart from the post headline itself ? Things like this is actually the reason more people panic sell,  when they read a post title... Bang!  They rush to sell without bothering to read what the main content is all about. 
The OP is not talking about him investing in Bitcoin and getting rich quick... The title to his post is just about a series by one Dave Fishwick, creator of Bank of Dave, discussing Crypto currencies which method if used well can be use in other investment as well.

Same reason behind this opinion why businesses fail in 2 years and they struggle to survive after 6 months. Generally, people only care about how to get more money and they usually don't care about the possible ways. Capitalism forces poor people to look for alternative options in order to get rich quickly.

People that are already rich can leave it for 3 years in the bank with minimal interest, but those with more desire need to take bigger risks. Crypto is a potential get rich scheme but more likely not

YES bitcoin can makes you rich quick, but you should know that if you want to get rich in quick way, you need to take a big risk, and if you can;t handle the big risk you will never rich in quick time.

It is true that one cannot become overnight rich , but is also true that by staying invested in btc chances of becoming rich in long run becomes very high which will make our retired life well settle and make us wealthy as well if we keep investing in the bear market and accumulate as much as possible.

I've been looking for some series like this, and looks like this is even better because it has some scenes related to bitcoin within it. Of course, probably those scenarios presented there could no longer be applied to current bitcoin market since things have chanced a little but still it will be interesting to watch this series.

There's no fast way in earning a lot with bitcoin. You really need to work it out really hard for you to earn a lot. Trading is one of the ways. But in order for you to trade really good, you need to learn at least the basics in trading. For the fast way in that is put a lot of money. Risk it all in order to get a lot of money back.

4 years is the process and IMO if you want to make quick profit, you need spend more time and effort , more than you do on ordinary trading.
For me, crypto is the long term process so if you want to make huge profit , just hold it !

In this world of crypto, money can be made quickly based on how smart and quick you are. People who invested in BTC when iy was on a low price made it big in 2017 within a twinkle of an eye. So for me I think with BTC you can make an easy and quick rich in not more than a day or two.

Now, you can still earn with btc but not as much as before.

I am very sorry when Bitcoin reached a high point I did not sell it. So I have not benefited like other people who get 200%. Bitcoin is right not to get rich quickly, but bitcoin is a long-term investment.

I think getting rich on bitcoin is always depend on your luck. Maybe there so many people that becoming rich Quaker than other becaus ethat are maybe lucky on crypto. Crypto is really unstable that is why we cannot really expect income everyday and we also didn't have a talent to know on how many profit we can get on crypto because everything in crypto really depends on your luck and strategy to earn.

He is partially right, because the profit from crypto market can take another turn. We often see Bitcoin on different shows although I don't like it when they introduce Bitcoin as a way of payment for illegal transactions. We need more movies or UK series like this one so other people would have a little understanding about Bitcoin.

You are lucky you have an investment when Bitcoin was headed in its all-time high, you are just in the right place at with the right motivation to hold your coins to sell it at the right time, but many people losses a lot investing at the wrong time, because market cannot sustain the motivation and now these latecomers are still waiting for its next all-time high, no it's not a get rich quick but you have a chance to make money here.

Luck has very little to do with this. I saw the potential of this technology and I risked investing some of my own money into this, when it was still regarded as a very high risk opportunity. The only time when luck was involved, was when I spotted this opportunity very early on in it's development. <Many people saw Bitcoin for the first time at more or less the same time and thought it was a bunch of crap, like most of my friends and they never invested a cent>

He/she was lucky to get into the market at that time but that has nothing to do with the big profit he made.
There are many people who also invested in the early years of bitcoin but can't survive in the market because of impatience and lack of confidence in bitcoin.

I will credit him/her instead on his/her luck, because as already said bitcoin is not a scheme to get rich quickly all we need is proper knowledge of market and patience.

I couldn't track how much I earned in crypto too I have been earning in crypto back in 2016 through some sites .
I invested and earn in crypto and also cash out some to spend so it is really hard to track how much I made in crypto because back then I always invest every time that I have extra money.
I  always save some money to invest in crypto but there are time that I would end up in gambling and lose most of my saving .

It seems an interesting series which provide full of good tips for the budding entrepreneur as you said and also it help even when we don't have crypto, I mean just how to get rich even without scripts, That's sounds pretty good. I would really like to watch this series when I found some time and I hope that it will help me to be rich using crypto because I'm still learning and want more advices.

Not all, but if you bought the dip and suddenly pumps, that's you can tell that your profits are equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local bank, it all depends when we entered or bought. But, I encouraged people especially for those new in crypto, that they should not FIRST use crypto as an investment, they should first learn how it works or research first and gain knowledge before investing into it. So, they can't blame other people if there investment losses.

Seems like a great series I will try to watch it. Well as for anything new, it is really good to invest in it. Just like the dot com explosion that got Bill Gates and many more a billionaire. But as the trailer of that series said, but it needs a lot of resources.

I became curious about the title of the thread now I think it is hitting the reality when I read it, bitcoin is, yes, not a get rich quick scheme. The high volatility of the cryptocurrency makes it difficult to say you can be an instant millionaire, there are steps of course to achieve that which will make you a millionaire. Try to HODL and disciplined to wait until the price hit your target to become a millionaire. Patience is one key.

I am very glad for seeing this thread, I would try and get this series and watch it with my friends who doubt me anytime I tell them that Bitcoin is even in the movies. And to speak about the topic " Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme ", I have no reason to doubt this as the early adopters had to wait several years before they finally broke through profit. I made some cool profits from bitcoin too when price got high just like so many people. And those investors sold at the highest price and made them rich quickly at that very moment. Though it took time but at that very time, they became rich so quick and that's the term for 'rich quick'.  :)

It's never quick to get rich because I think being rich depends on the fate of the luck and bitcoin thinks it is not possible. In fact we know bitcoin value is never stable. So it is difficult matter however, as much as the amount of investment is high.

There are actually alot of ways on how you can achieve such profits.
The most easy ones are by trading correctly on market's price ups and downs, you can also offer some sort of exchange with someone during some price and get profit in the end if price goes up unless both parts get into some agreement.
