that is the nature of new technologies and investment in something with huge potential. it is like buying Apple shares at 1 cent! bitcoin is not meant for getting rich quick but because of its massive growth it is going to offer that for a long time as the growth and adoption continues happening. I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year)
it is hard for me to calculate how much profit i have made since i have bought and earned bitcoin on all prices from $500 in 2014 down to $200 in 2015 and up to $20000 in 2017. so i guess the maximum profit is at 9900% at the moment I couldn't track how much I earned in crypto too I have been earning in crypto back in 2016 through some sites . I invested and earn in crypto and also cash out some to spend so it is really hard to track how much I made in crypto because back then I always invest every time that I have extra money. I always save some money to invest in crypto but there are time that I would end up in gambling and lose most of my saving .

I'll watch the series, thanks for sharing that. Coming from someone who created a Bank, people will turn back to bitcoin as they've heard him testify.
At your PS/edit, look on how many talks about the title only.

Luckily for us, the Bitcoin price at the time, generated a small profit when that episode was shot and he even commented that the profit he made then, were the equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local Bank.
Not all, but if you bought the dip and suddenly pumps, that's you can tell that your profits are equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local bank, it all depends when we entered or bought. But, I encouraged people especially for those new in crypto, that they should not FIRST use crypto as an investment, they should first learn how it works or research first and gain knowledge before investing into it. So, they can't blame other people if there investment losses.

Ok, it is not what you are thinking. Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme, but the UK series "How To Get Rich Quick - Season 1 episode 3 includes some footage of a rich entrepreneur, Dave Fishwick, creator of Bank of Dave, discussing Crypto currencies as one investment option to become rich. Luckily for us, the Bitcoin price at the time, generated a small profit when that episode was shot and he even commented that the profit he made then, were the equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local Bank. I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year) - Go watch the series, it is full of good tips for the budding entrepreneur out there. <It is also not focusing on Crypto currencies, but all the methods that can be used to increase your wealth> Edit - I wonder how many people will only reply to the Thread title and not on the content of the actual topic now. Indeed the crypto currency sector is a booming business and a means to get rich but not quick, and note, in getting rich have it in mind that crypto currency space is volatile, hence nothing is assured, so in taking a business decision in the crypto space, you should be emotionally prepared, hoping for the best but expecting the worse.

I think there is no fast way to become rich in bitcoin, if you will get rich in bitcoin maybe it takes a lot of time. And I believe there is no assurance on it on where or when it will happen due to the unstable stays of the crypto market. I believe that bitcoin is really amazing but it really needs to take a lot of time.

After such statements, I want to tell people who think they can get rich with Bitcoin at the click of their fingers, so that they take off their rose-colored glasses. Not everything is as simple as you imagine. You need to have a lot of experience, a lot of money and great luck. And then you are at risk of losing everything.

The bitcoin market as at the time the UK series was shot was so profiting and at that period most of those who invested in bitcoin earlier before 2017 made huge profits on the investment and most of them became rich within a very short period of time, but those who bought during the hype of 2017 lost a lot of money from 2018. Bitcoin investment is a very risky investment so at that it better you invest in bitcoin when the price is low and wait for it price to rise then sell again.

The possibility of being rich with Bitcoin are equal to the possibility of losing all your money with bitcoin. So, the risk here is great, and there is always the possibility of losing. If you accept that, then you can continue in your way.

bitcoin can make you get rich very quickly, but many people ignore that with bitcoin you can get poor very quickly, all back to expertise, knowledge and experience, those of you who are good at predicting will benefit, and those of you who only tempted by wealth without being based on knowledge will only experience bankruptcy.

If you want to be rich legally with your own struggle you will have to wait for your time only illegal way of earning will make you rich faster and quickly which is not good according to me, for me I am ready to wait because bitcoin investment means investing for long term with patience and I am fully understood how worthy bitcoin is.

Wonderful that successful people are talking about BTC positively One article by a successful businessman is better than dozens of articles by academics, though their opinions are important I believe that such steps will be devoted to the momentum required for BTC adoption.

Seems like a great series I will try to watch it. Well as for anything new, it is really good to invest in it. Just like the dot com explosion that got Bill Gates and many more a billionaire. But as the trailer of that series said, but it needs a lot of resources.

I became curious about the title of the thread now I think it is hitting the reality when I read it, bitcoin is, yes, not a get rich quick scheme. The high volatility of the cryptocurrency makes it difficult to say you can be an instant millionaire, there are steps of course to achieve that which will make you a millionaire. Try to HODL and disciplined to wait until the price hit your target to become a millionaire. Patience is one key.

I am very glad for seeing this thread, I would try and get this series and watch it with my friends who doubt me anytime I tell them that Bitcoin is even in the movies. And to speak about the topic " Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme ", I have no reason to doubt this as the early adopters had to wait several years before they finally broke through profit. Some of us joined late and we should have been very rich now if Bitcoin was actually a get rich quick scheme

I made some cool profits from bitcoin too when price got high just like so many people. This got the attention of those who didnt invest in bitcoin initially and started putting in money in an attempt to get rich quickly. But then bitcoin is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, it was brought up to give financial freedom to the world.

testimonies like this are welcome development, this will encourage those that are not yet keyed into the bitcoin initiative. But I think stories about failures, looses arising from bitcoin investment should be shared too, at least that will also go a long way to guide would be investors not to make rational investment decisions.

Bitcoin and other crypto currencies don't make you rich quick because of price fluctuation. Bitcoin gives you good ROI on your investment.
You missed the early days when people bought bitcoin at the cheapest price and waited for its surge. And those investors sold at the highest price and made them rich quickly at that very moment. Though it took time but at that very time, they became rich so quick and that's the term for 'rich quick'.
