A self made senior member is difinitely a high quality users, no doubt about their post quality. Someone who can earn 250 merits to be a self made Senior Member actually made high quality post, in long term, not within days. It's a long journey and show they have good contributions via their posts. I know it's the BM's decision to exclude other ranks. But is there any specific reason for not including Snr Members some of whom are even better posters? I want to be as clear as possible with you guys and that's why I want to announce that I've spoken to Livecoin about perhaps lowering payments with 20% to include 20% more members in this Campaign. This is not finalized but it was my suggestions due to the recent surge with the btc price and the fact that I believe Livecoin deserves to get a few more members in for the longevity of the campaign. If you do not like this, and if this change would occur and you'd not like to participate anymore that'd be fine and I'd understand. Just keeping you in the loop, this is not to penalize any of you and hopefully you'll understand! Will let you know more once a decision has been made. Not too many posters are hitting the limit anyway, thus it shouldn't be a big deal for Livecoin. Seems to be a good selling point. LiveCoin has also acknowledged seizing their customers deposit for an arbitrary reason: There is a scam accusation against LiveCoin Communication and relationship between client and Exchange is regulated by User agreement, which every user accepts at registration. There is no way to register without accepting the user agreement. However, rarely, some clients ignore and flagrantly breach the User agreement. For the first time of violation of rules, we just warn client, but in case of repeatedly violations, account may be blocked for verification and further investigation. But, even in this case, we allow to withdraw all funds after the removing of false information and consequences caused by this publication. In some cases, verification may be required by the security team. This is exactly what happened to the said client. This client created a ticket with a demand to enable withdrawal of MONA for his account, what is absolutely impossible because of the attack on the MONA network and public refusal of the developers to bear responsibility for that. We replied to the client with the explanation regarding MONA asset, but he decided to start spreading false allegations, publicly accusing the Exchange of fraud, and thus misleading the other clients, - your message is another proof of that. The client is clearly provoking a conflict, ignoring all suggested options of settlement. Earlier this client said that all information, violating the user agreement had been removed, but the investigation found out that, on the contrary, there is much more such information now. All further discussions of this issue will be held solely with the client and only after eliminating all negative effects. From the start, I am using Livecoin exchange and never had a single problem. I don't see other, real scam accusations, about lost deposits and blocked accounts. Keep thinking about this flag, because the flag is only possible if one lost something or was scammed and this case is very complicated and seems to be ongoing from years. From what I read Livecoin offered a solution to withdraw in BTC, but affected member don't want to lose money on this trade because the price is different. This case is very complicated and there are no solid proves in the accusation thread. I see that many members support the flag but from different reasons. The main reason is the rule, that one will not spread false accusations on the internet or any other info about Livecoin. During the last 2 years, I lost multiple shitcoins, because of swaps which I missed, updates, chain splits and other problems. One has to be up to date, with his holdings, especially in crypto world, where everything is evolving so fast. To blame an exchange after so many years, that he did nothing, when there was time or that somebody deposited, when the wallet was in maintenance is just ridiculous. I can understand Livecoin also, that they blocked his account and silenced him after, he started to spread false accusations and repeating lies about them. If there will be obvious scam attempt, lost deposit, exit scam or any other abuse backed up with proper proves, then I will reconsider stopping with this campaign. But like this, it looks like revenge of one not happy person, which lost a place in this campaign some time ago. From past campaigns I still think that the REAL reason for the Livecoin 'pushback' was they did not want to settle a 'murky' situation. Also, if past campaigns I've been involved in, they always end on a 100% or more pump of BTC price. I mean really, the price of BTC on 4/5/19 was $5,050 and as we speak now it is $12,334.39. So at best we lost a MONTH in this controversy. Livecoin, IMHO, was probably looking at the 'outlay' for this campaign vs return, even before this 'cluster' blew up. The way they 'lashed' back IMHO, kinda proves they we're gonna move on anyhow. Not sure if this helps any, but since 2013 and more than a dozen signature campaigns I've been in. THEY ALL END WITH A 100% PUMP. More or less, pretty much a month or two later. Maybe, this is not much of a compensation, but that's how I see this, it is just the way signature campaigns end, on FOMO/Pumps. :( As to who was correct on the whole thing, it was so murky, I understand that compromise was the only solution, that was not gonna happen, from either camp, thus this again may have add fuel to the Livecoin Signature Campaign down...but if my past signature campaigns and how they ended have any validity, was gonna happen anyway. But in the past campaigns I've been in since 2013 onward, they ONLY do this after say a few months of a hiatus and like you said at less $$ or BTC. I've often wondered why? Accounting Reasons? Clear the Deck and do a complete re-do with a new thread? But yeah, this also is a trend kinda, the old 'rebirth' of the campaign for hype/eyeballs/etc. Never really figured it out, but also pretty common to take a break in sig campaign than a few months later offer it to new folk with less BTC per post. I kinda doubt this will be the case for Livecoin Exchange. They likely have NO real interest anymore, if they are that offended by folk talking mean to them on the INTERNET. :) Also, even if they did try to make a new campaign, likely it would be flag'd immediately and all this will be brought up. I'm afraid they are now in Yobit's camp and destined to stay away from bitcointalk. Sad, but again, they seemed awful offended and unwilling to bend on this whole thing, so myself, I think they are washing their hands of bitcointalk sig campaigns. Yeah, I muffed the works, voted for the flag first, reviewed the stuff at the time, then voted against the flag, then their reply to the flag and or resolution, hell, If that had been their response first, I'd have kept my first vote. Thanks Hhampuz for the support for the last 15 weeks. We all tried our best from our level and reach to solve the issue that Livecoin got during the campaign. But in the end, it really didn't work out as Livecoin didn't care to solve the issue. In return, Hhampuz and all campaign participants got criticism from our fellow members because they thought we are supporting a scam. I really felt bad about it, I believe others too. Our fellow members forget for some time that we are not scammers and we don't support scam by any means... We have zero tolerance for that. Keeping myself away, they even didn't spare the members who are even in DT position. Are we really made friends here? Are we really trusted by others? Is it inappropriate to try to solve a problem? Even the court gives time/opportunity to settle the financial issue between the two parties on their own in the presence of lawyers before the final judgment. There is more to write but stopping here because it won't make any sense for them who don't want to understand the fact, no matter I write in brief or long. Just want to say don't judge your fellow members too fast. We all know we all fight for the same cause, we all have zero tolerance for spam & scam.
