Musk had the cryptoverse crowding around for the biggest april fools joke cryptocurrencies had so far.
He was voted on dogecoins twitter as the ceo of the alt coin.

This caused the coin to pump up in price when he tweeted from his own twitter account he thought "It was pretty cool."
Of course it was all an aprils fool joke when it was posted on his bio as "Former ceo of dogecoin"

I know it is an altcoin discussion but got a good laugh at how the news fake or real can influence the price of any coin in the cryptocurrency community as soon as it hits.

This man is really crazy, last year he tweeted that he was going to sell Tesla shares (420$ per share as I remember) and now he tweets this.
Yeah it was april fool but it's really curiois to think, will other coins do the same thing? For example litecoin, tether or any? Maybe now exchangers will do the same thing.
Btw yeah, news affects price a lot, small would be normal but usually rumors really have big effect on price.

Dogecoin has experienced 100% increase in recent days.
I did not think that the increase in dogecoin's price could be related to Musk.

For those with lots of tokens at the time i will say its their lucky day to shine and get something out of it at least Is been quite a long time we see doge have any value at all and basically nobody is using it anymore

Lol even the april fool joke can give a big impact to the price of dogecoin. The real developer of doge already retired from doge coin and this is such a false claim that created by elon musk and I guess he will see if that looks interesting to create more claiming to the crypto.  ;D

Just another April Fools joke made by well known Elon Musk. It has surged for a while but unlike other coins and bitcoin, Doge's gain wasn't that much IMO.

In summary, it's not just Elon Musk but every popular person. We saw this first with John McAfee and this strategy seems to be effective. I also think that some exchangers will do this or any upcoming project that wants to hit their success.

Before bitcoin experienced a significant increase in a few minutes, doge coin had gone up almost 7 percent, the second increase was probably due to a lot of speculation circulating and pushed by social media

I know Dogecoin guys like a good laugh but I think it would have been a lot funnier if they voted for Trump. Or Brunei Sultan or something. Elon Musk takes himself so seriously sometimes he's not funny.

But yeah, who cares, as long as our beloved Doge is strong and eternal, Jesus can be my new Doge CEO for all I care.

There would be no evidence if Elon Musk related to the dogecoin pump in yesterday. But as we don't know what was happening in out there, we only speculate and says the possibility. Maybe there is a big demand for people to buy dogecoin, and that triggers the price to increase higher and now, the price still getting an increase. We need to see what will happen next and if somehow, Dogecoin can break 100 satoshi, then it will be good for us to gain more profit.

Such large-scale companies have more impact and can be revived to the market because they have a positive impact.

Thanks to this joke, the price of Dogecoin grew normally and that is why I wondered if this was done specifically to make money or was it just a joke without a plan. What is actually wrong with this guy, I don't think he has a direction of what he actually wants to do, because the last time I heard this guy give a message, he was talking about creating another project. I don't know why this guys that have influence in the crypto space always do what they like because they have made name in the crypto space and manipulate the market as much as they want to suit their own purpose instead of the purpose of the people they follow.

Lol, which is not a bad thing for those that can catch the pump and use it to their own advantage, I see no reason why people who doesn’t have any  business or investment in a particular coin just carry some bad news about it, if he decide to pump a coin, is it not for the benefits of this who already invested in it, like we all are holding bitcoin, if we see any one that would pump the price of BTC further, is it not going to be a thing of happiness for us ?

So we should please allow doge investors enjoy their own moment. We have to focus more on the coin we are holding and see how we can help it appreciate more too.

This thing make me aware that dogecoin has a power and there are many people who likes this coin. In other hand, the transaction system that has by doge is really hard to track unless with the other coins that can track easly if there are a people who want to know the transaction for. This will make dogecoin can be use as anynomous transaction without you use some service such as bitcoin that use mixing service to keep anonimity for its users.
