Title: Will Stablecoins have a future?
Post by: Abiky on April 06, 2019, 02:34:23 AM
Stablecoins have been considered among many investors to be a safe-haven for crypto's volatility. Ever since Tether (USDT) emerged, several other stablecoins have launched in order to provide people with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, the stability of stablecoins is yet to be questioned since we've seen how Tether has gone below $1 in the past.

NuBits used to be a stablecoin too, but now it has lost its peg to the USD. Which means, that the same thing could happen with most stablecoins out there, since they're traded on a free market.

Nonetheless, do you believe that stablecoins will have a future? If not, why? :)

As long as there is only one route to enter the market in crypto trade, that is only buying unlike with binary options and Forex where traders can enter through buy or sell and make profit, stablecoins will continue to be relevant in cryptocurrency.

probably the stablecoin if they are going to have a future!, since it helps to protect themselves from volatility !, the problem is the stablecoin backed by fiat money (usually in dollars) ...

what happens if they remove that parity as happened with gold ?, will begin to print or get more coins out of that "stablecoin" without any backrest ... the best are the stablecoin supported in algorithm or in a cryptocurrency like bitcoin and that you can check your reserves in the blockchain!

Stable coin is not a perfect solution for the volatility of the cryptocurrency space, but it could help mitigate the issue of volatility. I believe stablecoin has a place in the future, many more stable projects will grace the industry and the ones with a flawless structure will stand the test of time. Tether has been very faithful in keeping up with the stride of the market and it has earned popularityaamong other stablecoin.

Stable coins would be an important part of cryptocurrency economics. With the unsuitability of crypto, we can't risk to put everything on a volatile coin while we can not even risk to keep on exchanging them to and from the fiat. So, stable coins are needed. Stable coins would be the future of day to day transactions. They would be the supplement to fiat currency.

After huge rise of crypto market we had seen a number of stable coins coming into the market and people pouring in.Few years back the option were quite less and thus people had very few options to buy and sell and of course very less pairs. But with the price rising many investors start investing the the crypto field and they always look for stability which was provided by these stable coins only. Thus it is really a vital thing. With so much volatility (ups and downs) in the crypto market whales and big investors need stability and that's the reason.

Till now, I consider stable coins as just any other altcoin. So in my opinion, I believe their stability will still be affected by the market and the people behind the stable coin. If the dev team will not sustain its existence and will not find a way to keep up the fast pace in blockchain technology, then, they will find themselves away from the limelight.

Stable coins need continues development to be able to survive in this market. Crypto is very competitive market and every coin is trying to be on top. If the coin cannot compete or adjust to the needs of the market it will die. You need to consider the devs developing these coins when investing.

stable coin as a concept is a very good one because it is useful. people need a cryptocurrency that can act as fiat so that they can use it without needing to go through the banks and endure the problems they are causing them. so that concept will have a future and will grow.

but stable coins in reality are coins like Tether, etc. which are centralized, shady and sometimes not even stable. so the result is that these coins will not have a future and they all have an expiration date. it can be reached even when FBI or some other 3 letter agency kicks down their door and arrests them killing the whole coin or it can eventually be when they are replaced by decentralized version of themselves and worse case scenario is that they last long enough till bitcoin reaches maturity and mass adoption and becomes stable at $1 million and bitcoin is used instead of all of them.

For me apart from the peg to fiat that people always seek for, the most important thing is Trust in the coin. We need more Stable coins, for me it will be very important in the next bull run, if we have stable coins with Marketcap of $100 billion then I feel the $200k next price of BTC that people are suggesting is attainable

stable coins have always stuck out like a sore thumb because they are centralized tokens among decentralized coins in a decentralized market. it is true that for the past years people have been using a lot of them (evident from the trading volumes) and there has been a lot of them that get created every now and then (evident from the total number of individual stable coins!). but in the end there is a big flaw here and that is their centralization. it has created a serious point of  failure.

you can't shut down bitcoin because it is decentralized but it is very easy to shut down USDT because all you have to do is to close down bitfinex and the company behind it and it will die in a blinking of an eye.
and the worst part is not even the fact that USDT will be worth 0 immediately. the worst part is the damage that such incident can cause to the whole market. and we may not see recovery for years after that .

Im not a big fan of stablecoins as i think they are against the basic concepts of decentralization and free global market which forms the basis of crypto but then again i think they will survive and their volume will also grow because they can be used as hedge to crypto market and also they can be used as mode of payment as they are stable in price.

How does stablecoins are against decentralization? If people hate fiat so much then they should stay away from stable coins, there was need that's why they came into existence.

Stablecoins are essential for increasing liquidity and reducing volatility in this industry. During the next bull run, they will be needed for people to quickly trade out of cryptocurrencies while keeping their assets on the blockchain. In some countries, there is a tax advantage to using stablecoins as opposed to converting to fiat.

stablecoin will live forever with a value that is minimally risky and this is useful for storing long-term assets, yes, stable points are sometimes under the price of $ 1 but not for a long time, stablecoin will be a real asset for the future

I will trust stablecoins if they are regulated, if a stablecoin fully comply to the regulations then that's the time i'll be using them, not to withdraw money but preserve the value in the future, which most of the crypto investors will be looking at future when the future crash comes in.

I don't think it's a problem that tether gone below than $1 because there's a system of burning coin by the dev team ro maintain the price. It's easy to hold out the price of tether in $1. If price goes down, dev team will burn some coins which we have observed some days ago, if price goes high, dev team will increase the supply to maintain the price.
Stablecoin is necessary for having a better profit since all of the cryptocurrencies are widely volatile and for taking profit, there's no other alternative of stablecoin.

Stable coins are not really for invesotrs,it is used commonly by the traders to save their profits when coin dumps and they will later convert into crypto once the price reached bottom so the stable coins will have future until the cryptos are traded but it is nothing to be considered as an investment since the price is not going to bump and also deflation gets the value of holding to be declining on days passes.

Why do people need stable coin that will not bring them profit? Stable coins are useful about keeping money constant and paying less fee. Also, the possibility that it can turn to zero at any moment is the other reason not to use it.

Well, the coin is stable, i think the future will be stable if they not scamming peoples.
Stable coin means the price won't change, there won't be any profit, or loss when holding that coin.
so, i don't know what will be the advantages of holding stable coins.

Well I guess stable coins will be a part of private company's asset since no one will trade a stable coin. Having stable coins is like having a fiat version on digital world, no intrinsic value just a fixed value  on it. Surely, stable coins will be important on paying fees and taxes since it is less volatile.

I believe in the future of stable coins because they are needed on the market. Not for traders, but for mass adoption
of cryptocurrencies as  the merchants accepting crypto are not willing to deal with the volatility.
I believe in the future of  decentralized stable coins like DAI without  any backing by $ or any other assets.

Stablecoins are a scam, created by bankers to give themselves access to large bank accounts loaded up with millions and even billions of fiat.

They are not safe as they are not trustless, and the stablecoin creator can do whatever they want with the fiat they acquire from idiots handing over their dollars.

Fractional reserve, loans, and use of the fiat for other investments is what will happen, with the risk that the entire thing will collapse, they will lose or steal from themselves all the money they have in bank accounts and the stablecoin is no longer backed 1:1 with money held in bank accounts.

I have been checking a few of these stablecoins, and one of the most disappointing things is they use someone else's blockchain. Most are ERC-20 tokens, so they use the Ethereum blockchain, and moving it from your wallet needs gas. Tether does the same with the Bitcoin blockchain (you need satoshis). This is not very user friendly. Is there a wallet that, say, can send Tether using only tether (or at least hide from the user that its using a few satoshis by exchanging the amount required?).

I think that can happen if stable coin still has a request and can still provide a solution because if there is no development and does not have a good project or platform, the coin price will fall very cheaply even the price can be less than $ 1.

Why do we need these stablecoins, when we already have similar currencies in the form of Paypal and Skrill? A stable coin is just a digital version of the United States dollar. It has nothing to do with the original crypto-coin invented by Satoshi. It's exchange rate will be determined by the central banks of the United States.

Fully agreed. Stablecoins are the dead way for crypto. Because they contradict the essence of crypto money. I don't see any benefits from other bank's money. Only new players with new rules on money market. But for what? For trading? It's not a main goal for any crypto

You may also include traders who tend to trade a lot. As the market condition is quite bearish or the volitality is too high, they need stable coins such as Tether for their exit trade; these stable coins are keeping them losing for such market that is unfavorable for them.

I think a lot of people who are interested in investing crypto due to rapid market movements, and not price stability. they are investing to take advantage of the rapidly changing market conditions, because that way they can get a greater advantage and quickly.
probably because until now the role of the crypto most only as an asset investment, not as a means of payment. When crypto is used as a means of payment is of course the stability of the market price should definitely be noticed.

Stable coins are called stable because they are pegged to a certain asset or cash that RARELY change in price. That something RARELY change in price DOESN'T mean it does not change in price. Even USD changes in value against other currencies in the forex market,  only that it may not be noticeable,  USDT may fall below 1$  to about $0.97 and above $1 to about $1.1 ... It is still a stable coin. I stand to be corrected, but that is my opinion

I think we need to limit the option for these stable coins in the market. It is not healthy tfor us to use too many stable coins for the benefits of safety because it just creates a division of volume for every stable coins. Also,  we might consider these stable coins to have its exact and fixed value because every decimal is important for a huge trader.

Stable coins with the right intention and having a reserve fund or a backup fund equivalent to the issued coins in existence definitely will have a future. There must be enough fund in reserve to defend the value against a turbulent market, otherwise, it will just be useless and lead to wrecking on investors. I just converted my BCH to USDT since it's showing sign of bearishness against the bullish BTC.

in my opinion, stable coins have a bright future.
If the market goes up, we can convert/sell coins with stable coins, and when the market goes down we can buy it again.

People are using stable coins and they are pretty useful. I have no doubts that stablecoins have a great future, but the only question is if we really need so much stable coins that are on the market now. We can easily handle our transactions with only several stablecoins. I do not need 20 of them.

Stable coin have no future mate because volatility is the must when it comes investment ,so no one will trust on it and will try to put money because of being stable and no profits will be made. which is it'l will become useless only on this kind of market IMO.

For me not, just for investors who has knowledgeable to cryptocurrency they will ignore to invest in stable coin. For them stable coin just for short term trading not use for long term investment, they will choose stock who has had a permission from the government because that place is really safe rather than cryptocurrency especially stable coin. I used stable coin just for short term trading when the price bitcoin meet increasing price, as you know if the price bitcoin fall then many investor or trader will move they money into stable coin like USDT. I guess your question mean is just for the profit that will get by investor for long term investment so I have an answer no, the stable coin will not give a huge profit although we use it for long term investment.

It seems to me that with respect to the future, stable coins have nothing to worry about, because it has not proved its relevance, even with the current state of the cryptocurrency market. But I use such coins to users of cryptocurrency to minimize their risks and not allow their assets to go to the bottom.

When we talk about the future in crypto currencies, most will think about the big profits they might get. But because stablecoin will always have the same value as fiat (usd in this case) then I don't think stablecoin will have such future. Stablecoin is here to help crypto users when they want to secure their money from volatility but they want to remain in the crypto sphere.

The future vision for stablecoins appears to be an optimistic one on all fronts, as they have the potential of changing the crypto scene (and improve mainstream adoption). Industry experts agree that they are the key factor in expanding the crypto user base. Stablecoins offer a solid relationship between digital coins and fiat currencies, one that can potentially free the sphere from all the perils of inflation.

As with most things in the exciting crypto world, the future of stablecoins highly depends on how well governments will establish governance over them. Even though there still a long road ahead, stablecoins can potentially replace the current fiat currency system. However, as mentioned before, to get there, the world of today needs a better defined global financial system.

I feel like stable coin is just useful for this season where you need to use in daily basis, but when time comes that Bitcoin was fully adapted and being use for buying and selling products, the use of stable coin is no longer needed.its just that Bitcoin will never get stable which some might not want to they will still keep a stable coin. But for me, I like Bitcoin since it is volatile, it grows unexpectedly which makes it more exciting.

stablecoins are already an integral part of the crypto trade and that is why i think they will not disappear so quickly. they replace fiat money to facilitate the crypto trade. if stablecoins were suddenly gone, that would surely be a big and negative blow in the crypto market.

Stablecoins are ideal to protect against volatility indeed. However, their stability is questioned since they're traded on the free market. Relative to Fiat, Stablecoins are not backed by the government which cannot guarantee a value of $1 USD all the time. There have been times where Stablecoins have gone below the $0.99 - $1 range, making them somewhat volatile.

This has been the case with Tether (USDT) when it was below the $0.99 mark for some time. While now it's within the $1 mark, it could go down anytime the same way as any other cryptocurrency. As for NuBits, it used to be a Stablecoin pegged to the USD, but now it's a failure. It worth a lot less than $1, at merely cents per coin. Investors who trusted USNBT, have now lost their fortune on a supposed Stablecoin that should've been worth at least $1 USD.

Despite this, it seems that new Stablecoins are emerging occasionally. Before, we had Nubits and Tether, but now we have bitUSD, USDC, DAI, TrueUSD, and even Gemini Dollars as Stablecoins for the world. Whenever they will be a success in the future, is yet to be seen. Just my thoughts ;D

It's needs to have good volatility and solid platform using them to be relevant, you can't claim your coin pegging USD   all the time cause the market could go against the price, anyway stable coin is necessary for me to secure your investment easily when the market is bearing, pretty ideal

I think stablecoin's future is very difficult. Because the purpose of creating this type of crypto is to represent USD with equal value. It is just a crypto that is stable so that users can store and use it more easily. Of course, there is a need for stability with stablecoin so that users can use it more. So the stablecoin future, if any, is about stability and number of deliveries, not much about value change to make good profits.

This is indeed difficult to predict, as happened in USDT. Now the price of the USDT is in a stable situation and follows the rates of the USD. but I also feel less confident that this can last a long time. Again, crypto and FIAT currencies are different things. So the benchmark rates currently available might be regulated by the USDT dev and that might not last long.

Yes, a true stablecoin will certainly have a future and be very useful.
The only problem at the moment, probably largely because we are still quite early in the evolution of crypto markets, is that the existing stable coins do sometimes struggle to maintain the dollar peg, and are frequently sources of controversy. I suspect these problems will fade as crypto markets mature, so yes, I do think that in future stable coins will have a solid purpose.

In bull market, its not recomended to keep our asset in stablecoin because the price of crypto rising. Trading between crypto pairs looks profitable but its risky too but no pain no gain

For me stable coins can have a future because they are sought after for a number of companies because of low fluctuations, so they have a little difficulty, but that depends on how the developer develops the coin, especially as it is known that cryptocurrency is vulnerable to fluctuations, as you said that all coins and even the US dollar that emphasized stability remained high fluctuations.

I can't see any reason why stablecoin could not have a future as long as they have their value pegged to usd and many investors still sort them out for reserve, it is essential to have stablecoin for sole purpose of the stability and has less fluctuation compare to other non stablecoin,
except when suddenly all stablecoin no longer pegged to the value of usd then who knows what will happen.

Stable coins will have a future as long as the cryptos remain ultra-volatile. But in due course of time, along with the increase in the user-base, the proportion of the free-float coins will decrease. Once that happens, the volatility will also decline and this will be bad news for the stablecoins.

I don’t believe the stable coinam because they don’t have a documentary guarantee that if you are so willing, they will exchange the stablecoin for dollars any time. And since there are no guarantees, it means that everything works only on trust, which I do not have to speculators.

Yes of course, I am not a fan of stable coin but I am sure that they will have a future because I am part of those people who makes use of stable coin to carry out trading activities and make a lot of profit from the market especially when the market is bearish. I make up to 3% profit every day trading between normal coin and stable coin, it pays off a lot and I think all traders can try it out too.

One thing I know and believe, both in the crypto space and in the world is that, any project or coin with great use case will always have a future. Stablecoins are used by almost if not all traders, so yes they will continue having a brighter future.

in my opinion, for USDT, it should continue to be stable following the USD price because this is a benchmark for the USDT price, if it experiences a decline far from that it will not last long in the market.

This is because you haven't lived in the other side of the fence, in a country where you can't just buy USD. And even if you do it in the black market, you end with physical money you can't use online. Paypal, no credit card? Too bad, can't use it; and hope they don't chargeback scam you... Skrill also has obnoxious rules, like Neteller and others hostility against crypto. There is AirTM trying bridge them all but their fees are outrageous.

Not all stablecoins are pegged to the USD, some are pegged to the EUR, or some other fiat or asset.

People are using stable coins and they are pretty useful. I have no doubts that stablecoins have a great future, but the only question is if we really need so much stable coins that are on the market now. We can easily handle our transactions with only several stablecoins. I do not need 20 of them.

Stablecoins may be useful to protect against the dreaded volatility of crypto. However, their stability may be questioned as they're traded on the free market. Not to mention, most stablecoins are not backed by governments which gives a higher risk than regular Fiat. Some are backed by the issuer's holdings at a bank account, while others are backed by algorithms. Which means, that their peg could fail in the future if anything goes wrong. It happened once with Tether and it could happen again in the future.

Nubits on the other hand, is another stablecoin which promised a 1:1 peg to the USD but now it's history. While I agree with you that there's too many stablecoins in the market, sometimes this is good as it brings people with a variety of options to choose from.

Nonetheless, the future of stablecoins will greatly depend on investor interest across the crypto market. Just my thoughts ;D

During last bull run the prices of alts rose because there were not enough pairing to buy bitcoin and ethereum and thus the market makers and investors were looking for stable coins which needed to be backed up by something and can be easily bought directly without being forced to make their fiat converted to ethereum or bitcoin to buy any altcoins. Also introduction of stable coins will also help in making the market bit stable, which is one prime concern for big investors.

Many peoples will using stable coins for investing or trading in cryptocurrency exchanges.
Or many peoples can avoid the volatility of cryptocurrency by converting their coins to stable coin.

Stable coins was a hype. But some of them, surely - has a future. Tether, USDT, USDC, Gemini dollar - all this already has a good reputation and a real stable. But I know another kind of dtable coins - they not connected with dollar or any fiat currency. Take a look at WPP energy. They planed to becaome a stable token but their price have a connection with hydrogen cost.

Agree. If Stablecoins wouldn't had been invented in the first place, investors and traders would've been troubled with the volatility inherent within the crypto market. With the inception of Tether (and now several other Stablecoins), investors can rest assured that their investment is always worth the price of a USD. Of course, this approach is not perfect, as we've seen that sometimes prices fluctuate below the $1 mark. But, it's the best alternative out there for those who don't want to cash out their crypto into the Bank.

Knowing that Stablecoins provide ease-of-use for the unbanked people, makes mainstream adoption widely possible. If Stablecoins always manage to remain pegged to the USD, then there shouldn't be nothing to worry about. Otherwise, there would be no sense of acquiring Stablecoins if they turn out to be as volatile as other cryptocurrencies. This situation happened with NuBits where now it's still struggling to go back to its original price of $1 USD per coin.

Nonetheless, it's hoped that Stablecoins would change our world for the better as they merge the good stuff from crypto and Fiat within a single currency. Just my opinion :)

Sure it is a shitcoin anyway but if you are a dev team launching a coin and then for some reason whatever reason you give up, then it means you never were truly interested in doing a coin anyway! Stablecoins have a future for sure, but they may face stiff competition from the upcoming FBCoin of Zuckerberg. Already USDT is affected by all the rumors about auditing and a lot of the users are thinking about shifting to another coin. That said, USDT got a major boost recently after it was listed on the TRON blockchain (using the TRC-20 protocol).

Completely agree with you, mate. If a Stablecoin proves to be backed by a real dollar (USD), then there should be nothing to worry about. On the other hand, Stablecoins which try to avoid being as transparent as possible, are sketchy to any serious investor out there. Tether is a good example of a Stablecoin where its claims of being backed by the USD are quite dubious.

Which is why, if you're looking into serious Stablecoins that have a bright future, I'd suggest that you look elsewhere. In today's market, hundreds of Stablecoins have emerged with the purpose of bringing the convenience of Fiat to crypto users. But only a few seem to have a greater chance of survival after all (like the Gemini Dollar, and USD Coin).

Nonetheless, Stablecoins will have a bright future only if they become widely adopted within the mainstream world. Just my opinion :)

Well, you are right about this. I remember how so many coins appeared every hour in the market during the crypto boom back in 2017. All these projects were not so much good and majority of them had been scamming people. They disappeared during the prolonged bear market which was actually good. Stable coins might have demand but those with good projects would only stay around and the ones with weak base would vanish.

Stablecoins will be having future only when there will be enough trader cum crypto adopters grow in numbers. I mean stablecoins are useful only for the people who want to move fiat value which is the need of traders. So, future of stablecoins will be depending on them in more percentage.

and in my opinion coins are quite potentially big in the future because today many people like them because their value is so good that the project is easier to develop.

I believe every stablecoins has better future, the fact that they are able to keep the 1$ price tag makes it easier for crypto fans to trade among other things, I'm glad we have stable coins in crypto space
of course they will have a bright future, likened to their stable prices with USD or other FIAT currencies of course if bitcoin drops then it will be a good buying opportunity because their coin prices are stable, so when the price of bitcoin is pumped then those who hold bitcoin will very lucky when I returned to buy a stable coin.

I think it depends on the token you want to buy because there are stable altcoins but there are not too buyers and the volume is small I have encountered and heard such news so many are losing due to the wrong selection of altcoins but how do we to know an altcoins if there is a future or not even stable it can be said that the project will see it if it's beautiful and it's also visible in the community and being active by admins and support groups because it's a great help to learn Investors know what the project is doing if it is good or bad.

Will stable coins have really a future for now? I think stable coins have a lot percentage rising in the near future because if the stable coins for now have the same value when the bull market comes the coins will really arise also so if it is stable it will arise very high. But if you want early earnings and profit it is better if you start trading for now so that you will gain extra profit although it is a little but gaining some profit than gaining nothing is better. If you start daytime trading for now I will probably refer to you some good trading platform which is darb (https://darbfinance.com/?=crowd) finance, In this trading platform you can easily deposit and withdraw cash without any hassle than other trading platforms. Many trading platforms right now only in the first 2 weeks is legit but when it goes deeper it would be hard to withdraw. So what are you waiting for? Start trading. ;D

I think that if the governments of the world one day were to massively engage in cryptocurrencies, it would probably come in the shape of a stablecoin of sorts. Maybe linked to the price of gold or silver.

So agree. With mass useless coins there is no trust to to stables. Literally all new ones from end of 2018 has back code which allows freeze funds. SO you gotta be careful what to trust
Stable coin have no future mate because volatility is the must when it comes investment ,so no one will trust on it and will try to put money because of being stable and no profits will be made. which is it'l will become useless only on this kind of market IMO.

I am also glad that there are stablecoins, but I do not think we need so many such coins. sooner or later there will be only a few stable Coin

Agree. The ever-growing amount of stablecoins on the market, is like the exponential growth of altcoins on crypto land. We don't need thousands of stablecoins to get to the USD or any other Fiat currency. Only a few stablecoins on the market will suffice. Speaking of this, Tether is the first stablecoin that came into the market, but its operations are quite shady. Other alternatives like NuBits and DAI are good but are sometimes volatile on the market. The former, has lost its peg to the USD making it completely worthless.

On the other hand, USD Coin seems to be a better option these days, but it faces the risk of volatility the same way as other stablecoins on the market. Still though, while this system is not perfect, it has brought the convenience of Fiat into crypto land which is highly beneficial for traders and investors alike.

Nonetheless, there might be a bright future after all for stable coins if they become properly regulated on the market. Just my opinion :)

I suppose it depends on how good their project is and their purpose is to say that there are such tokens in the future and especially if there is no dumpers in their member or holders with the hope that the tokens or altcoins will increase in price we can not say that because of today's risky size and can not control the downfall of altcoins because maybe in bitcoin when it crashes it also falls on the price of altcoins.

Yes because stable coins are too useful . from what i know their primary use is for preventing your cryptos to fluctuate .  there are now lots of stable coins thesedays and like cryptos they are also competing to other brands therfor i think not all stable coins will have a good future because some will also left behind and only the ones that is popular or indemand will be remain to be succesful.

Those who converted their crypto funds into stablecoins have missed out on the 100% rise since mid december last year. I'm sure a lot of those people that did that in fear of further losses regret it strongly now.

Stablecoin have a good future because it is safer and can be better.
but we don't know what happened so I don't understand it too much.
people do their best because they want to secure and don't want to lose.

Many already left in crypto didn't bothered whether it's stable coin or not, it's a matter of risking and patience once we enter in crypto, there's always a future as long as we keep learning and studying every platforms and projects.

Stable cryptocurrencies are used for pumping the shitcoins by smalle exchanges from my experience. Even Bitfinex caught when they used the Tether for pumping the BTC years ago. I don't believe the stable coins that not pegged 1:1 to USD.

Stablecoin? I think it will never be stable if we talk about cryptocurrency. And we don't need and most of us don't want the stability of any crypto. Crypto is amazing on what it already have and even it's main characteristic of crypto it's being not stable so you don't have to find stable coins or trust to the coin that who will tell that it is stable.

nevertheless, it is stable coins that can be coins for accumulation and not for investment.  In addition, you need to pay attention to the importance of such coins, in the period when the cryptocurrency market is in very poor condition.  I think that we all noticed price fluctuations on such coins, when many users of cryptocurrency are trying to minimize their losses.

If stablecoins can be transparent and undergo a compulsory audit, they will have a future. Stablecoins who do not make an audit will have big problems.

yes definitely the stablecoins also being important for the future because we do not trust the unstable currency in all the time so they will perform only better in the future to make our investment to stay in a single position without any problem.

Agree. Stablecoins retain the value of $1 USD, which makes it impossible for anyone to gain some extra profit within a bull market. Still though, Stablecoins are a good way to protect yourself against the dreaded inflation inherent within many well-known cryptocurrencies today. The most rock-solid Stablecoins in the market right now would be Tether, DAI, and TrueUSD. Investing into them, would allow you to gain the benefits of traditional Fiat currency we know and love today.

While the system is not perfect, it certainly holds a bright future that will transform our economy for the better. Banks and other financial institutions have become interested in joining the Blockchain space. Even some Stablecoins have been regulatory-compliant, issued by renowned companies in the crypto industry (like Gemini's GUSD). There's a huge probability that in the future, Stablecoins will be the norm of our economy as they slowly but surely replace traditional Fiat in many ways.

Nonetheless, crypto is still in its very beginnings. The concept of Stablecoins may have gained some traction since its inception, but it still needs adoption within the mainstream world. Hence, if there's no adoption or demand for such coins, then traditional cryptocurrencies will remain the top choice of people for many years to come. Just my opinion :)
