When I was new in crypto world heard a lot from people that Bitcoin is garbage but I say Bitcoin is future and career maker and also more than real gold Today I have made my career as Bitcoin investor and trader . I was jobless with no earning a dime I did not have capital to invest  thanks to ICO airdrop and bounty that gave me free tokens to make money without investing  I sold some tokens and accumulate btc to start trading in Bitcoin that is my love and passion  and started trading and investing in bitstamp exchange. And now this is my full time career  I am from India but certainly not afraid with crypto ban

Ignore those words from those people that thinks bitcoin is a garbage. They will never understand our thoughts on how we give importance to bitcoin. Your story isn't one of the kind and many for sure have been completely depending with these airdrops and bounty. What you do if the bounty participated is a scam and never pay you? When I was new in crypto space, I see people say that bitcoin is the new era gold and that's fine with me, I don't have any objection with that.

Actually, the masses are ignorant and need to be educated into some important subjects such as what money is and how economy works. I think Bitcoin is not gabage. Bitcoin is a very useful technology. Among all other cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is gold. But I think Bitcoin has many differences from gold.

Bitcoin is referred to as the digital gold of the physical gold we have, Bitcoin would even be more valuable than gold because unlike gold, bitcoin can also be used as a means of transaction at any point in time but gold would have to sold for fiat because no one will want to every collect gold as a means of payment for any goods and services.

The perspective of someone is different, I believe for those who says bitcoin is garbage or bitcoin is scam or any negative thing that related to bitcoin seems like they don't know as whole about bitcoin, it might they just heard from other people and never did to find out about bitcoin by himself. It is good for you to find out about bitcoin by yourself and ignore what many people says about it.

Most of people now just do an assessment without know in detail about a things that he gives an assessment, that is a wrong way for me. I think everyone has the right to give an assessment with one note he has known a whole about bitcoin. I remember my past from you, I have no job since I join in crypto world, most of my crypto now are fruits of my bounties or airdrops before. I also trade using bitcoin in some exchanges, here in our country, they also don't know well what Bitcoin is, they just keep telling Bitcoin is a scam, they don't even know how it works coz they thought that Bitcoin is something Ponzi scheme or some Multi-Level Marketing.

Correct it's no longer for everyone,  unlike before where opportunities is everywhere you just have to be Keen and willing to take and try, but now things change and competition is very tough finding things that can bring you good outcome, gold for lucky persons who able to  earned decent while garbage to those who missed the chance for not believing.

I'm sure that many of us have been in the same route as yours. Many doesn't have money or even a job, but when they joined bounties or sig campaign and got their pay, they invest and trade. I for one, uses my gambling earnings from campaigns and learn to trade in 2017, it was a stepping stone to me. So there is a lot of ups and downs along the way. Everyone in the crypto space has his or her story to tell and how much cryptocurrency has really impacted his life. I am a living testimony to that too. I cannot forget how i started and despite things not working the way i planned at this time, the little i have been able to make is quite appreciative.

Well you’re right. To me it’s a gold too, but all of my friends that started it with me, including the ones that introduced it to me have all quit. None of them is still into bitcoin because it no longer works for them. Those of them who were able to gain something from it and start up a good life sees it as gold, cause if not for them being part of it, there’s no other way they would have been able to start up with what they are doing now. As for those that didn’t achieve anything, they all see it as a garbage.

One thing you need to know about life is that something that is in favor of you might not be in favor of others. Okay you have done it, cool and it worked for you, but did you ask whether it works the same way for others? No it doesn’t, not everyone is lucky. interesting story because I used to be confused because a similar case was banned crypto in some countries, but after I got eggusi even though it was banned we still could sell crypto to a local exchange in a different country but our crypto was exchanged via paypal

Its nice to hear your story mate, indeed its not only you but many people in the world who have earned a plenty of money from cryptocurrency, if not a big amount even then a satisfactory amount they have earned. I am also from India, although I was not jobless but was in deep debt due loss in forex.I also thank to bounty campaigns from which I earned a good amount and came out of that deep debt. Bitcoin and other cryptos served as Savior for me, although I could not make myself completely debt free but that was my own mistake. I did not sell my tokens when they were of highest value and then there was big crash, however I hope crypto market will recover and altcoins will regain their values.

Bitcoin will succeed in being the DIGITAL GOLD of the future, for those who are still saying garbage about BTC must definitely be those who knows nothing about BTC or what BTC is all about or those who knows about it and would wish they had purchase when the price was low, then start giving bad reviews about it to create FUD that would make people panic and dumb the coin, thereby crashing the price to their own advantage, this will not work again, they should continue with the garbage stuff, we have already pass that stage now.

If Bitcoin or other crypto currencies were actually garbage, do you really think around 5.8 Million people would be using bitcoin (that's the estimate research result carried out by Cambridge university)? Of course not. They 1 person or 1000 person can be making a mistake but not 5.8 million people at once. Bitcoin again is also not considered as "Gold". It's just a currency that was made to decentralize the financial aspect and bring financial freedom.

Yes where there is wishes, there is solutions. My country too has banned cryptocurrency. But it has not deterred me from my passion of involving in bounty campaigns and buying and selling coins. I remember sharing what bitcoin is to my new friends, their first impression was not good for the reputation of bitcoin. People who might say bitcoin is garbage have  a selfish attitude because cryptocurrencies make it possible for people to earn from this newly found gold with ease, and the biggest advantage is that it's open to everyone around the world without restrictions which come with regulated currencies.

There will always be naysayers, it doesn't matter what other people think about bitcoin. Bitcoin is one of the best investment one can make. It is convenient to use and aside from it's convenience it also had provided a lot of income opportunity for other people. Just ignore people who's talking trash or spreading FUDbout crypto.

I can understand this question in 2009 but right now it is something irrelevant.  We can argue bitcoin is gold or not but we can't argue it is garbage or not.

Bitcoin is not likely to become worthless nor should it be superseded by a newer technology that easily because it is the most predominant blockchain that exists today and although comparisons have been made between it and physical gold it defines its own unique asset class as a technology, commodity and future store of value and its appeal is likely to increase to a broader range of investors in the coming months which will further increase its adoption

People who are new to crypto certainly think in crypto space this is only bitcoin. Actually there are so many altcoins that we can get. That's why we have to know before saying something. Actually there are also many people around me who don't know the world of cryptocurrencies. In any case we can generate income here.

Comparing the gold and Bitcoin is not a right thing because the difference between the qualities of the value is completely not equal so if you think the better investment then it will both playing important role in different ways.

Bitcoin is the alternative for whatever you can find in the market, this is a better version of silver or gold.

For me, there can never be a garbage coin where its price is comparable to precious gold. With the price of bitcoin, it can be called as digital gold as some investors says that. Even bitcoin decreases its price still it has the good value in the market ranking the most valued coin and the most volume coin.

There has never been a day I ever doubt the value of Bitcoin,  for it has serve it's due purpose for which it was innovated,  anyone that speaks ill of Bitcoin is yet to experience it's real value and importance. Bitcoin is Gold! 

Garbage does appreciate in value over time or become a "store of value".
Bitcoin, in it's 10 years of existence, have proven to be a very good store of value like gold (even better than gold due to its portability).
Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole is the most valuable enhancement to money after more than 500 years.

In a few more decades, the Digital Revolution, will be taken as one of the critical turning point in the history of mankind:
- Mainframes of the 50's-70's
- Rise of personal computing of the 60's-90's
- The internet revolution of the 70's to 2K
- the dot.com boom and bust 90's-2K,
- Telecommunications expansion (80's - ? exponential)
- Digital data storage expansion (70's - ? exponential)
- decentralized internet money (2009-?) - bitcoin and alts

Bitcoin marketcap has reached $ 140 billion, even this is greater than foreign exchange from many countries, with a large marketcap of course no one is hesitant to say that bitcoin is gold.

Lol, I think this thread should be locked by now, Bitcoin has proven time and again that it can go as high as $20k in 2017. So how the hell in the world would you say that it's garbage. It has made a lot of people millionaires as well, so we need to stop this and locked this thread for good.

Are we still debating about bitcoin is garbage or gold on 2019.

If you have any doubts just leave the market. Bitcoin is the furthest thing from being garbage.
