I think  Ian McLeod Ethereum Price Prediction 2019 of $500 is more realistic if we are to based on how the price move, second quarter is coming and the price is still moving slowly even though the hard fork is already over, there's still big news for Ethereum that will make the price go higher than $500.

i don't really see a high price like $960 for ethereum, it is simply impossible considering now the supply of ethereum is a couple of millions higher than when it was when it first got pumped. and also the fact that ICOs which were the main reason for that pump are now dead.

best case scenario is somewhere below $500 and that is already a 525% pump which is unlikely itself!

I am interested in predictions Joseph Raczynski. in 2017 ETH prices reached $ 900, and I am sure ETH will exceed that value by the end of this year. I know that ETH has internal problems like ETH developer Afri Schoedon, decided to quit and ETH has always been a scammer platform. but I'm sure the ETH value will follow the BTC volatility.

That still a prediction and I guess that there is no one will know the truth. Ethereum could still increase in this year because of ethereum still a strong project and continue. I believe that the price will increase and you only need to wait for the time to see it will rise again. Maybe you need to wait for a long time, but for me, I don't mind to wait for a long time because I am sure that ethereum can be back to the higher price and we are on the way to break the higher price.

A speculation is still a speculation it is based on opinion by one trader or more. I believe that the price of each coin will go up in the future. That's why I'm telling that .01 BTC could worth a lot in the future. So as Eth, if that kind of BTC is so high in the future what more could Eth give?

$500 seems so realistic, but to me $1500 seems possible as the growth at present is slow and steady. Earlier it grew mutually with the growth of bitcoin. Maybe by the end of the second quarter of the year price could grow high. Ethereum is so strong in the market serving as the leader to the entire altcoins that are listed to the coinmarketcap.

I also think ETH price will grow parallel to the growth of bitcoin's price. If bitcoin price reaches 10,000 this year, maybe ETH will reach 1000. But for now, since the price is barely moving up, 500 is a good speculation.

It depends on when the parabolic session happens. If it doesn't happen this year then  $500 is the more likely price. However, if it does jump then i would say $1200 approaching the ATH

Prediction 1,2 and 4 are too realistic to expect. I might consider the closest with $500 because that's the lowest prediction from all of them. But it's exciting to see on how prediction 5 for ethereum and the effect of it to bitcoin and the crypto market growth by that time.

Yes, its cheap right now because ETH can go high as much and can even reach the $1000 again if the bulls happen this year. Smart contracts really makes ETH a better coin ahead and i hope more tokens will come under the technology of ETH. I think everyone can talk about price ETH, but I believe ETH will approach the price of 500 $ for the end of 2019 because my BTC analysis will be worth around 8000 $ -10000 $. The price of ether will adjust to the movement of the BTC.

I think you are a bit late about buying Ethereum, it's pretty good if you have bought on the price was low at below $100. I have bought the ETH last month while the price at $120 and now I saw my profit was there. I still keep holding on it I know it will reach again on $500 to $600 on the market price. Because I never doubt this platform, with unique smart contracts that usually ICO's project use a token with Ethereum base ERC-20.

The price of altcoin in USD is dependent on the price of btc. So we should think about btc price before predicting any altcoins price. So in my opinion, if the price of btc will see again 20k$ in this year then we can see ETH at 1k$ in this year. But I don't think Btc will see 20k$ in this year so want to say if btc will touch 10k$  , eth can touch to 400$. If btc will touch 15k$ in this year then we can see eth at 600-700$.  Thanks

I think none of the price predictions listed by OP will be correct. Ethereum will not anymore be pumped like before. It will hit max $400 by this year and the chance of crossing it very low at this point. Its main usage has been decreased nowadays.

Eth's movement is currently quite good and certainly very optimistic to look forward. Eth penetrates $ 175 and won't last long to touch $ 200. It's a good move to continue to follow, and I think the end of this year will be able to penetrate $ 500.

Few weeks before ethereum price was around 100 USD now price settled in 180 USD. May be in some weeks again we could find price bump which could reach the 500k soon.
Then now bitcoin itself not reached that so we should imagine the real value not the dream value you feel.

Sharding, Plasma or Casper is set to be implemented to Ethereum network in 2020, so I am not sure if Ethereum could rise without any technological progress.

Don't know how long it may take, but any price between $500-$1000 is a decent price for ETH IMO.
And if BTC spikes to a new ATH then ETH may also lead to a new ATH. Then ETH may have a price above $1500.

The person who predicted $100k in the next 5 years is totally unrealistic.

I'm optimistic about Ethereum and trust in it's project 100%. Currently have Ethereum in my portfolio and planning to buy more of it. Hopefully if bull run start this year 2019 I will be sitting on 2x 3x or even more.

I expect the 20% development will possible in the end of this year because they must be a bull and right now so it can happened to everything that development will definitely happened to the ethereum also so I expect to be developed in this year.

How much would one bitcoin cost in this example? Even if we got a new bull run, it's not sure that we would get the ETH ICO back like in 2017. Sending millions of dollars to random ICO teams with just a beautiful roadmap, are hopefully a thing of the past.

In my own opinion those predictions above is too much and very difficult to reach  on this year because we all knows green in the market didn't stay for long time nowadays because of some factors that always occur and can cause fluctuation in the market. With the slow movement of ETH price within the past few months, I think the most reasonable one is that of number 2, $500 is more achievable than every other ones, despite the high pump in price of BTC that affected the growth of ETH recently, ethereum could only grow by $30 to $40 and since we are not expecting the major bull run from BTC this year.

If BTC is to follow same pattern it followed this month for the rest of the year, it means that ethereum will be gaining additional $30 to $40 of its value on a monthly basis with both its effort and that of BTC, which will get us to like a little bit above $520 at the end of the year, but other price predictions are achievable next year.

Low I think because we have more months to go or 7 months and 3 weeks before the end of the year 2019. The price  $165 and we need only $85 more before your prediction will really hit. For me,  #4 is much believable or maybe we can see less than $908 by the end of 2019. The only thing that can lead the price of Ethereum go higher is the price of Bitcoin. Bitcoin should also rise before the Ethereum. Just what like happened last 2017 bull run, very lot of people used the smart contracts of Ethereum, this could also be the key to trigger the price of Ethereum.

I keep changing my mind but I do think Eth will be near 1k by the end of the year.  There is no chance it will be less than $500.  Ethereum has risen to become a solid #2 crypto behind bitcoin.  Nearly everyone online store I use that accepts crypto usually just has BTC and ETH.  That says a lot for Ethereum to become a standard payment method.

We also think that $1k is to far and really hard to reach, and even last 2017 bull run never touch on it. Though we are too positive and optimistic person, but it really impossible to have it this year. We need more resistance and usual support from the community isn't enough to make ETH fly high. We've never have to expect to much cause we never control of anything in crypto.

I doubt it will be anywhere near that close.  In my book bitcoin will hit at least $15k by the end of this year so expect Ethereum to at least be $700.  Some of you guys forgot how fast this market can really take off, these aren't stocks we are talking about.

Yeah, the current price of ethereum on the market is really good so far. It's far better than the last year and it's only 4 months since 2019 start.

I guess the price of ethereum can hit more than $200 in the end of the year. If there is no bad news, it will go to that price for sure.

the market now looks stable and strong. even though prices are down but you can see prices holding on to some limits. the market is trying to get up, they continue to grow trade so that investment can still enter even though the market situation is not so good.

Ethereum can actually break that sooner than expected if BTC can get the needed pump in price. Most of these coins have been positively responding to the movement of bitcoin and since we do not have any ethereum investors that are that much interested in dumping anytime soon, whatever value that tops ethereum will remain till the major bull run comes.

If Bitcoin that pick up its speed again and increase to like $7000 by next month or before then, I think ETH too should be able to do so an climb to $200 before setting its course for another resistance.

I earned ETH for my work when the price was $500 and now since it's at $160-$170, I am losing almost 65-68% of the value. Since I first purchased ETH at $10 and in no time it reached $100 and then $1000+, I can see that we need to wait for 2020-2022 for it to happen again. 2017 were the best days of altcoins and bitcoins and going by the trend (Dec 2013 BTC was around $1200, March 2017 it reached the same price), it happens even 3-4 years. So next 2020.

In my personal opinion, i think ethereum will rise up to $800. It is depending on bitcoin directly or indirectly. So the price of the bitcoin is also a great factor here. Users of ethereum and the sectors of it also rising.

Yes I agree. Ethereum is one of the best coins that are available on the market. Ripple is good coin but Ethereum supports many tokens especially ERC - 20 tokens. I'm hoping eth will still be the second coin in the crypto market in the future.

I don't think the binance chain will have much of an impact on ethereum, it doesn't have the proven technology that ethereum offers and they have already beaten off EOS and TRON. Others will compete but ethereum will still go strong

Since february of this year, the ether to bitcoin is falling. Rising price only due to higher prices for BTC. When it stops, it is not clear. Today's raise still does not give reason to hope that the ethereum has begun to grow.

Since last December's bottom, Ethereum has more than doubled outperforming Bitcoin. It is doing fine so far and any big rise will need to wait for an overall big rally in the crypto market.

Today's rise is welcome, and does suggest that ETH was (and still is) undervalued versus BTC.
It's also nice to see a coin other than BTC pull the whole market up with it. Obviously not many coins have the strength to do this, but ETH has done so today.

What I notice whenever the bitcoin price rises, ether price also rises after a few days or hours. I guess it does instantly matches with the btc price since the price is controlled by everyone who trades it. So it is always better to buy ETH when you see a price jump of BTC.
