Title: Coinbet??
Post by: golfprojosh on March 13, 2014, 02:04:02 PM
So i have 20k on coinbet and the site has been down for over 12 hrs.  What is going on? I'm a little nervous here and would appreciate some reassurance. Anyone else?

Wow this follows the news about bitbook shutting down.  What are the feds closing all the gambling sites down?  At least bitbook is giving back user funds.

20k what?
USD?

We are making a number of changes to our site, ALL of these changes in fact, have either been requested, or suggested by our players. Live dealer casino action, has taken up the most time, but we have just completed that. So when the site goes back live within the next 3 hours, you will see an entirely new lineup of games, live dealer casino action, and a more navigable sportsbook, with a few of the bugs we had removed.

There is absolutely no need for concern, but rather excitement, with the coming of CoinBet version 2.0!

Yes, 20k USD.  Anyone with any information about this site...I would appreciate it.  Suffice to say I'm a little antsy.

Thanks.  Appreciate the knowledge that it's coming back up in 3 hrs!  ;D  How have the cashouts been for everyone?  I'm  nearing the end of my rollover and hope to make one soon lol.  Hope they are fast and smooth like bitbook/nitrogen!

GolfPro:

I am top level management, I assure you we are not going down! We are making improvements that you'll love! Give it a few more hours at most. We may be live within the hour.

Rest assured, WE ARE MAKING IMPROVEMENTS! In fact with the BitBook shutdown, we are prepared to onboard all of their displaced players, and felt this was the perfect time to make our improvements to the site.

FYI: There may be a lag on U.S. Data feeds, so NBA lines etc, may not be available immediately, but of course they will be up soon. We wont keep the site down, waiting for our feeds.

Awesome!  One quick question while I have your ear.  Am I allowed to bet both sides of a game? I don't see why not but wanted clarification (especially if I mistakenly enter a 3 btc bet when I wanted it to be .3 ...I would think I could take the other side).  Let me know.  And thanks again for your fast response.

Me too, it's a week over due so have removed it.

Anyone waiting on sig payment can email support@coinbet.cc with their profile link, number of posts since last payment, and wallet address and it'll be paid. We didn't want to extend any sig deals until we rolled out the new upgrades, but now that it's rolled out, we can continue.

Well, for me it isn't.Can anyone else confirm it's working?

The site is indeed working, but some ISP's take longer than others to catch on to DNS changes. Try rebooting your modem if you are on cable or DSL, then clearing your cache and refreshing. Thanks!

Can you try again? It's possible your email went to spam. Be sure to include your post count since last payment. We'd be happy to pay you for your sig so long as it makes sense for us to keep purchasing it.

100% is the standard bonus. 125% is the current, limited time bonus. In anonymous mode information is requested but not required. If you have any problems, feel free to email support@coinbet.cc

I have a question about your new platform, how come i cant get to over and under bets for how and stuff? What am i doing wrong, and i have to say im not really impressed by it at all, i would have to say its a very frustrating way to place my bets and not really easy to use, i would have to say the old way was much better than this. Please consider what i say very serious because i never complain about something like this and i feel it is just not user friendly.

We are not finished introducing features and options and are taking every bit of feedback into consideration in doing so. You should see improvements every day as we move along from here.

I sure hope the kinks get worked out because I really enjoy playing with u and I would hate to get frustrated because of these simple errors. Do u even have over and under bets for hockey anymore because I don't see it? Also do u have parlays because I also don't see that?

Yes we do have those – you just need to click on the number in the circle at the moment to access those.  HOWEVER, give us a couple of days and we’ll have the layout sorted to a more intuitive format :)

is the new rollover 25 times? thanks

No, the rollover requirement for cashing out bonus funds varies depending on whether you're playing in the sportsbook or casino or both. Other factors can come into play though as well, including the odds of your bets in the sportsbook, so please see our FAQ for a complete explanation of the terms and conditions related to our bonuses.

It looks like you are trying to hide this. If I deposit $5,000 and I only play in the sports book where all my plays are against the spread, how much do I have to bet in order to be able to cash out? I have no idea since your rules and everything else keeps changing.

This topic was addressed before concerning Coinbet and other books. An online gaming license is not required in Costa Rica. Coinbet meets the requirements to run a sports book.

Coinbet can u tell me when your site is going to be fully functional? I'm having some trouble with your new site. It's been pretty laggy, it keeps switching from american odds to european when i keep changing it, I don't see where i can place parlays. All those are issues im having since the switch and have been making me pretty annoyed. The plus that I have seen so far it all the new betting options which is great but the other stuff is starting to get to me. Thanks

We just rolled out the brand new layout for the NHL and NBA options in the sportsbook a few minutes ago.. On to the next now, as we speak :) The entire upgrade will take time, but we are rolling out new features and options every day from here on out. The first step was the platform and foundation, now we are in the process of integrating all the bells and whistles. We definitely want your feedback, so feel free to email your suggestions, wishes, etc. to support@coinbet.cc

And who's fault is that to not keep track of your bets? This is rollover 101 we are talking about. Call them and ask them for a printout or something and from now on keep track of your bets. Every book is different and u need to understand this, it's upto u to keep track if that is your only option. Talk to these guys they are very friendly from what I have dealt with them, im sure they will help u out.

To add to this, we will be reintroducing all the automatic counters to the transactions page as we move forward, but we don't want to create conflicts with other areas we are upgrading and rolling out at the moment, or run into any false count problems, so as I pointed out in the sportsbook thread, we have to test everything, and make sure all the pieces "fit" with the other pieces, then roll out the features and options one at a time.

This upgrade has been a HUGE undertaking, and we wish it was as simple as flipping a switch, but we are doing this to improve the overall experience and functionality of our casino. While it can be a pain in the ass at times during the process, we are confident our players will appreciate all the improvements as they come together.

As always, our support team is here to answer questions, clarify anything as needed, or help with any issues - support@coinbet.cc

Why are you so agressive ? i am a custormer i deposit and play and i cant withdraw now who fault ?

Yes, you have been replied to several times, but you keep emailing over and over again with the same question.

Why are you so agressive ? i am a custormer i deposit and play and i cant withdraw now who fault ? my fault to belive in this sports book which is not to be trusted ?

Who is at fault? Well, not sure how to apply any fault in this situation, but you have not met your rollover requirement, which has been pointed out to you multiple times now. Once you meet it, you are free to withdrawal all your bonus funds if you want. As Legions36 pointed out, you are free to keep record of your transactions yourself, until we bring the automatic rollover counter back online (it's currently being integrated with our new platform at the moment). Your inability and refusal to do something does not mean we are "not to be trusted", as you put it.

It's also worth pointing out that your negative comments in this thread (especially saying we are not to be trusted) are in direct violation of our terms and conditions and can get your account terminated, so you might want to ease up on the negative comments and false accusations. I'd also recommend reading through the terms and conditions posted on our site. This is something you should do with every casino you play it. They typically contain very important information that you should be aware of.

So i have 20k on coinbet and the site has been down for over 12 hrs.  What is going on? I'm a little nervous here and would appreciate some reassurance. Anyone else?

Have you got your withdraw ? they keep saying i have not meet the rollover requirement and fail paying me  >:(

I don't feel I'm being aggressive I'm just going through the basics that u need to know or deal with when u take a rollover. I'm on your side but I'm also telling u what u should do, u should also know that they just upgraded there system like the rep just said, patience is key and I have also had a few issues with the upgrade but I also know the new stuff they have. The rep also said u need more to rollover, which u don't even know for sure how much u have bet yet. Hopefully u get this all worked out.

Just to clarify, we did send him his history up to that point when he asked yesterday. I don't want anyone thinking we ignored his request or told him it's on him to keep track or anything like that. We just would prefer to not have to send him a spreadsheet of his transactions every day. Hopefully he can keep track from that point on, until the rollover counter is added back into the new platform.

I sent a email about signature and waiting for reply

Please people, stop posting about signatures in this thread. We purchase signatures, as we determine one to be valuable, and we pay for a specific period of time upfront. Once this time is up, you are free to send us info on your posting history and request that we renew it, but we are under no obligation to renew it and may choose not to renew it if we feel the value of your account or your post history was not worth the cost. If this occurs, please do not pester us about it or post in our threads. We do not owe you anything. If you don't receive a reply, or we tell you we are no longer interested in your signature space, you are free to remove it or change to someone else. Some people who have claimed we owe them money for signature space are beyond ridiculous - we paid for a specific period of time upfront. We have to focus on pressing issues, like customer service, tech support, and supporting our players, so if you don't get a reply about your sig, just remove it or you can feel free to wait for us to get back to you as time allows, when we are not busy with other things.

Thanks

You never answered my question. I deposit $5000. I only play in the sports book betting sides not money lines. How much do I have to bet before I can take any money out if I take the 125% bonus?

dep $5000, get $6250 bonus for a total of 11,250.  you must wager 10x that.  $112,500

Where do you get 10 times? The rules say 25 times. I can't sign up through the anon mode. It still wants all my information which defeats the reason for playing at bitcoin books.

Free money isn't sustainable. If you want a bonus, especially one so high, then there's a cost to pay for it in the way of a rollover.

If you don't want a bonus, you don't have to rollover at all.

Any casino who is offering a bonus with a low rollover is not going to stay in business long.

No, it really isn't. We don't have any shills, the suggestion that we do is laughable. You are more than welcome to read our terms and conditions and FAQ for yourself. Note that while we reserve the right to change our T&C as needed, we typically do not retroactively apply new terms to old players or their deposits, which is why you hear different people saying different rollover figures here.

I will paste the relevant terms below for your convenience:

* Regarding 125% Deposit Bonus for casino and sportsbook, player needs to purchase a minimum of 20 in the account currency and wager 25 times the amount of deposit and bonus before making any withdrawals.

Excluded Games:
Your bonus can be used with all games, but each game type has a contributory percentage that it makes to the wagering requirements before withdrawals are allowed.

The contributing percentages of games towards the wagering requirements are as follows:
100% on all slot games
25% on Sports betting
5% on all other games.

LOL @ Shills. You're insane.

EVERYONE should read terms and conditions of any site. Period. That's the bottom line here. I don't have time to come on here, check every single post, then make corrections as necessary. If I get a notification that the thread has been updated and needs a response, I typically scroll to the last post, sometimes read the last 2-3 if I have time.

Coinbet- I apololgize for sticking my nose in your thread but there is one nice feature that hasn't been mentioned. Coinbet has the lowest hold of all the bitcoin books. After that it is NitrogenSports. Coinbet is a little over -106 and Nitrogen -107. I really should talk decimals and percentages but that confuses us Americans.  ;D

Bitbook was -105, then went higher and went under. Casinobitcoin went from -107 to -109. If you are going to gamble any type of volume the hold outweighs the bonus in general unless the bonuses are insane. Those are the StakeBTC's of the world and don't last long.

No problem, and thanks, we appreciate the support :)

I'll be the first to say that we have run into bumps in the road. Hell, you're the one who told us to tighten up our bonuses, and why. Not to mention the 100's of folks who tried to scam us, abuse our system, hack our site, find loopholes, etc. Our goal is to prove we are here for the long haul and are capitalized accordingly. Yes, that means sometimes we have to revisit certain offerings and terms and make changes, but we've ALWAYS made every effort, even bending over backwards at times, to be fair, and give our players the benefit of the doubt even when it wasn't deserved.

We don't plan on going anywhere... We will continue to offer quick customer support, one on one attention to our players, an awesome VIP program, large bonuses (for those who want them), and continue improving our games, betting options, and everything else we possibly can as we go along.

Thanks again!

I never received answers to any of my questions in e-mails, nor do I see anything on this forum page that would indicate anything other than 'promises of things to come in the future' or 'we should have this in 48-72 hrs'.  I am tired of these companies not answering questions directly and  appropriately, but instead with obvious vague and 'delaying' tactics/promises.  I thank anyone, especially Coinbet.cc, if they can provide me with how to proceed in personally viewing all legal licenses and information associated with them.

golfpro-There are no gaming licenses in Costa Rica for sports books. Most of the owners of the bitcoin books stay anonymous. Both BTCSportmatch and Anonibet opened in 2011 and both are anonymous. Anonibet is the best of all the Bitcoin books. Nitrogen and Coinbet are solid.

Just a couple questions.

Peeps Place - I've seen you say Coinbet is 'solid' in a few forum threads.  What gives you the credibility to say this?  Have you cashed out?  Have friends cashed out?  Are you aware that myself and other people are having trouble with this site .. or do you choose to ignore this?

Also, let's revisit a post from Coinbet in another thread:

"You're seriously an idiot and it's getting old. I told you numerous times we were licensed in Costa Rica. I never said we have a GAMBLING license in Costa Rica. Costa Rica does not issue gambling licenses, they issue data processing licenses (you're 100% incorrect when you say they do not).

...

You're intentionally trying to mislead our customers and it's not going to work.

As I've said before, you're an idiot and have no idea what you're talking about.

Quit wasting my time and go play in traffic or something, Alan."

A) This looks like they do indeed have a license of some kind. I would like to see said gaming license.

B) It also looks like they aren't exactly the most professional of companies when their public rep department is telling people to "go play in traffic".  I am the owner of a civil engineering company and I can assure you, regardless of what a client/customer says..calling them an 'idiot' or telling them to 'playin traffic' is pretty much the WRONG approach.  In light of this, Peep's Place, are you still on record as calling this company 'solid'?

Surely you must have done some research on these sites to be able to offer reviews for each one.  Are you personally willing to put your own reputation on the line in saying Coinbet pays out to its customers and treats them fairly?  Did your research miss that they had a data processing license even when they posted in a thread awhile ago?  Please tell me your credentials, sir, so I can feel better about everything.  Because as it stands, I feel like I'm getting the runaround. And that sinking pit in your stomach telling you something is wrong...yeah, it's not going away.   I was born at night, that's true.  But it wasn't last night.

Firstly about CoinBet.

CoinBet is a quite misleading book, which does not deserve rate B.

CoinBet has a terrible loading time. It seems that they do not have any CEO specialist in their team or if they do, these specialists are not competent at all.

CoinBet has a very limited bet offer. At this point they mislead us when hiding their poor bet offer by showing, for example, +220 next to the betting lines, as if they provide additional 220 bets. Actually they show us the number of different outcomes – 1X2 etc. With normal bookmakers this number corresponds to the side bets of the same event.

Despite having slogan “Bet Safely, Bet Securely, Bet Anonymously”, the option “Anonymous mode” does not work, which is again misleading.

CoinBet deceives us, directly or indirectly, by presenting a lot of Payment systems in the footnote, while actually there is only one available – Bitcoin.

In their FAQ is stated “CoinBet holds its gaming licenses and permits in Costa Rica.” They again failed in formulation. Actually, Costa Rica does not issue any gambling license. Data processing license is the only thing you can get from Costa Rica, which allows you to connect different Payment systems. All Costa Rican companies are self-regulated. And in case of dispute arises user cannot rely on the help of any regulatory body.

I'm not saying that my opinion is better than anyone else and my experience is only that of one person. Poster experience and feedback play the biggest part of the ratings. I read the threads of each book and have played at all of the bitcoin sports books rated "D" or higher.

My background is that I started playing with offshore sports books in 2002. I'd guess 95% are located in Costa Rica and the other 5% in Curacao or Panama. I've owned two websites that dealt solely with cash post up sports books. I sold because of the US laws.

With Coinbet, I've taken many withdrawals. At first I was slow paid and then they became immediate after they got the kinks out. I've had  telephone conversations with Coinbet, many email and PM correspondences. I feel as though they are the book that is most receptive to poster suggestion and input. I originally opened up Coinbet as a "C". Coinbet got very strong poster support and they were moved up to a "B".

If something is going on with coinbet, please share. We need input from all. I will contact them if anyone has concerns. Thanks

We will NEVER post such information publicly, period, for obvious reasons. If you don't like that you are free to not play on our website. Also, we never told you we would send you our license in 48-72hrs, so not sure where you're going with that. We have no obligation to show you anything related to ownership, licensing, etc. and, like I said, if you don't like it, go play elsewhere. We really don't mind.

The person I was replying to was the fake nick of Alan Karre, Jr, the former owner of BitcoinCasinoPro who stole several thousand dollars from us in exchange for advertising he never provided, then tried to extort 12 BTC from us in exchange for writing a good review (he said we had two choices, pay him and he'd write a good one, or don't pay him and he'd write a bad one). Once we exposed him for the scammer and extortionist that he is, he created fake nicks (the writing style is transparent) and bashed us in every thread possible, until we exposed him again and he crawled back under his rock and sold his website.

If you have had any problems on our website, or there's something we need to address, please email support@coinbet.cc so we can do so immediately. As far as I'm aware though, we don't.

Not even close. CoinBet has bent over backwards for you despite your multiple terms of service violations and we're getting a bit tired of it. Now you go and say something like that, ANOTHER violation of our terms? Where do you think this is going? What do you think happens when you violate terms of service so many times? I'll let you do the math.

The expiration times for your tennis matches are all screwed up. All of the matches for today have already expired and are no longer available. The only matches available to wager on don't even occur until tomorrow. Very lame.

Strange, I'll have tech support look into this immediately and get it fixed. Thanks for the heads up.

Coin bet please take a look at my personal message :)

Please do not post about signatures in here, as I already asked before: We purchase signatures, as we determine one to be valuable, and we pay for a specific period of time upfront. Once this time is up, you are free to send us info on your posting history and request that we renew it, but we are under no obligation to renew it and may choose not to renew it if we feel the value of your account or your post history was not worth the cost. If this occurs, please do not pester us about it or post in our threads.

Thanks

Multiple violations?  Unless winning is a violation I've done nothing wrong.  However, after asking for my remaining rollover requirements via email 5x and now here 2x I have yet to get an updated number from you guys.  My silence on how I've been treated will only last so long.  People here are chomping at the bit to get a legitimate review and all you've done is put me off.

I've been more than patient over the past month but I'm getting very close to losing it.  People's tolerances in general will only last and stretch so far.

As you know, we are in the middle of platform changes and upgrades, so it stands to reason we are a bit busy. If you want to figure out your remaining requirements on your own, read our terms and conditions and apply the numbers to your own transaction history or records you've kept on your own. If that does not suffice, then wait patiently until someone can send you your updated figures, or until the automated counter is reintroduced to our transaction page (which is almost ready as we speak).

As far as violations, no of course winning is not a violation, we've paid out millions of dollars in winnings since our inception, but you've made a number of comments in multiple threads that DO amount to violations. I'm not the one in charge of determining whether or not to terminate accounts, but I figured I'd point it out for your benefit before someone else sees it.

WHAT???  Other than to answer one persons question about rollover requirements in THIS thread I haven't posted once since depositing on your site.  Posting history is public record and my last post a LONG LONG time ago.  So as for retroactively punishing someone for something that happened before establishing a relationship...

And as for ME figuring out my remaining rollover requirements.  clearly since i keep trying to cash out and it keeps getting rejected i obviously have no clue whats left.  I've made that very clear both prior to getting my most recent number 4 days ago and every day since with all the numerous emails i've sent to you.  its not unreasonable for me to wonder since i bet ridiculous amounts and i never seem to clear it.  from what i can tell i bet more than everyone else on the site combined.  in fact from what i can tell based on my transaction history its very possible i bet more yesterday than everyone else on the site combined since your sites inception.

i realize you're probably pretty damn busy since there seems to be just you handling everyones issues, however, since i probably account for 99% of the dollar amount bet on your site and 85% of the bets placed its not unreasonable for me to think you might be tracking my every move and have up to date numbers for me.

You have made other comments though, with negative insinuations, so please don't act like you haven't. I know because I get PM's every time you do it. You are not even close in how much of our business you think you account for, like I said we've paid out millions of dollars since our inception just a few short months ago, but that's besides the point and not really relevant. We do not track your every move (well, we do, but it's automated, there's not a person sitting there watching and monitoring your numbers). Personally, I only handle the forums, and very occasionally will take over email support when others are unavailable, so I can't be of much help in this particular issue, but I will make sure someone emails you ASAP with an update. Keep in mind it is the weekend, and like I said, we are working on another big update to reintroduce some of our features back to the new platform (including the automated rollover counter), so it may take some time to get your update to you. I will tell you this though: When you hit your requirement, there's an automated email set up that will be sent to you to let you know.

Thanks for the info. As promised, someone will be in contact ASAP. We do appreciate your patience with all that is going on with upgrades and reintroducing old features back onto the new platform - it's been quite the undertaking!

I understand coinbet. Will you ever be paying for signatures again?

We will be renewing all the signatures that prove to be valuable, we just have to do it as time allows and right now we are extremely busy with our new platform rollout, upgrades, etc. and helping our players become comfortable with the changes and new features.

So will you contact us by email/forum when you decide?

I would suggest setting up a thread so that we (your sig advertisers) can post to prove we are still using the signature and posting frequently. This will save you the time of emailing/messaging everyone person by person. That way all the participants are grouped in 1 thread.

It's not worth the time to manage such a thread because when we tried this, it became overwhelmed with 1000's of people trying to sell us their signatures and we had to lock the thread to stop new people from posting trying to sell to us. We want to renew sigs based on true value from a promotional perspective. This means whether or not we renew is determined by post count, value of posts, and overall marketing value. We ask that people requesting a renewal email us their post count since last payment, a link to their profile for management to review, and their wallet address and asking price. Then, once you've sent that, wait patiently for approval or rejection. Like I said though, you have to be patient - we have more important issues to deal with first and foremost, such as our players, customer service, tech support, our ongoing upgrades, etc.

You could just create a self moderated thread then pick out the useful candidates and then close it off to new joiners when it is full.

Now you go and say something like that, ANOTHER violation of our terms? Where do you think this is going? What do you think happens when you violate terms of service so many times? I'll let you do the math.

I like how asking for your rollover number is a "violation of terms".  Coinbet is the only online sportsbook that threatens to terminate your account for posting in forums..meaning either post something positive or nothing at all!  We aren't allowed to legitimately provide any sort of negative criticism without the threat of our accounts being closed.  I hope everyone seems the problem with this.

* By joining CoinBet.cc, you agree to keep all experience, winnings, losses, payouts, disputes, and gameplay confidential and are forbidden from releasing any information publicly, including but not limited to, message boards, news agencies, forums, blogs, or other websites, without the express written consent of CoinBet.cc. Any information publicized without the express written consent of CoinBet.cc will result in immediate termination of the account in question and forfeiture of any winnings or account balances.

Please direct me to one other sportsbook that has such wording in its terms and conditions.  It's so outlandish that people feel are unable to post their experiences in a "legit" book.

Additionally, who won the 1 million superbowl promotion?  I'd like to think that would be great publicity for your site but I've been unable to track down anything on it.  Only been a few months..

Between CoinBet's responses to BitCoinzRulez, and the outrageous t & c which golfprojosh has pointed out, I will definitely not be playing at CoinBet.

"* By joining CoinBet.cc, you agree to keep all experience, winnings, losses, payouts, disputes, and gameplay confidential and are forbidden from releasing any information publicly, including but not limited to, message boards, news agencies, forums, blogs, or other websites, without the express written consent of CoinBet.cc. Those terms allow CoinBet to take a shot at any player.
"He posted 3 times that he hasn't had his wagers graded for several days - we are confiscating his winnings and deposit balance".

Every business reserves the right to not do business with certain customers.
But not every business reserves the right to steal winnings and balances  when someone exercises freedom of speech.

Thank you CoinBet for making my decision easy.

Why people deposit money to sites like coinbet.cc without DYOR is beyond me.

I've had some (unfortunate) talks with these coinbet.cc guys as they tried to bully me out of my coinbet.com domain with fake trademark certificates and spoofed Godaddy emails. If anybody wants to contact me go through my contact form at coinbet.com/contact

It might have been helpful if you had posted your info in a timely manner.

Coming in after they've stiffed everyone, blaming the people who got robbed, and acting like you knew this would happen all along just reveals you as one more bullsh*t conman promoting yourself.
F off.
