Title: the bull run is confirmed.
Post by: Nivia1st on May 10, 2019, 03:12:34 AM
Hey guys, what are you thinking about this bullrun. whether this increase in bitcoin sacrifices altcoin prices. I see the volume of bitcoin trading going up but on the contrary almost all of the altcoin volumes go down. Does this mean that Bullrun needs sacrifice this time?

is this just the beginning, until everything turns green. I think all possibilities will ultimately benefit Bitcoin. what are you thinking right now?

would not say its confirmed just yet, but i agree it sure looks good. have to see if the price keeps on increasing for the next 2 months or if this run the last couple of months is just a fomo driven run.
Seems to be alot of people thinking the bear market is over and i hope its true but im not realy sure yet.

are you sure you mean "volume" and not "price" here? because altcoin volumes also increase due to the sell-off that happens when bitcoin price rises. not to mention all the arbitrage opportunities that shape up because of that both inside of one exchange and between different exchanges so the volume has to increase all over the altcoin market.

Where have you been? In the last 60 days, bitcoin has achieved a 60% increased. So I don't know if you can't call it a bull-run. Investors are just moving funds around, look at Bitcoin's dominance, at 58%. I wouldn't call it a sacrifice though, that's how everything works, smart investors knows where the money is right now so they've switch to Bitcoin.

I see the price of Bitcoin getting pumping but the price of Altcoin doesn't follow its king, Bitcoin. well, now we need to see in recent months the price of Bitcoin has increased by 23.2% I think this is not the beginning but the bullrun seems to have started right now, I don't dare to confirm if the bear market is over but what we have seen now is that Bitcoin prices are growing.

$6500 is a crucial point for this current run as we know that it is one of the heavy resistance around for bitcoin before meeting $7000 and higher targets. Should we breach that while momentum is still on our side, the possibility to open up the gates for higher highs is very promising, but if not, we might see ourselves stagnating yet again on upper $5000 and $6000 levels.

As for the alts, it's a given that we are seeing inactivity on that side of the market when bitcoin is pushing because traders follow where the money is. The money is just being concentrated into bitcoin more than anywhere else right now, so expect the alts to be in a clumsy state.

I think that it already has begun last month we have seen a great increase and I think it is because of a bull run.
The market has been increasing for some time now and for me it is enough proof that the bull is already running.

Everyone should do and it's wise to convert altcoin holdings into bitcoin for these times.

Those who shorted their alts for bitcoin are probably enjoying now.

From the lowest of $3k, we're already doubled up to now and is likely to do more for the following weeks.

Even now bull run is not confirmed from my view, if the perfect bull run has got initiated then we could've experienced some form of growth with the entire altcoins together. These days bitcoin alone has crossed $6250, while there is no relative growth with ethereum or other top listed altcoins that contribute good to the cryptocurrency network.

possibly we aren't there yet and still need more time for the market to fully recover from it previous dims. Careful looking at what is going on in the price of Altcoins, made me to see that, many traders has started to sell for Bitcoin, so, with know distance time from now, we shall see the greens again. But currently Bitcoin is the greener as we await the general market turn green.

Dont get your hopes up. Just ride with what you are seing now with the price. There is no news that will make the price pump besides binance getting hack that should BTC price lower for the mean time but its not.  I wonder what is behind the current pump these days.

I don't think that this is the start of the bull run but the movement of the price of Bitcoin is looking good for me and for others.

I think the price of Bitcoin is slowly increasing because many investors are believing that the bull run has started already and they don't want to miss the train. In short, there is a bit of FOMO happening right now. Maybe I'm wrong but this is just my opinion regarding the price of Bitcoin.

I think if bitcoin past $6500 then bullrun is confirmed, we know that in the past months and year that bitcoin cannot break that $6500 resistance, so if it breaks above that then climb up to $7k then it's indeed a bullrun. People selling alts and buying bitcoin at the moment.

In a bull run, it doesn't matter if we have negative news like a hack. People are willing to invest because they are betting that the price would increased significantly.

Remember back in 2016 Bitfinex was hacked, but the market continues to grow and we eventually hit all-time-high in 2017. Another thing to note that the hacked (reported to be $60++ million) is far more than the the $40 million taken from Binance.

Well somehow the sacrifices on the part of the altcoins will be affected, everyone wants to have their investment in Bitcoin when it is rising, to have many more benefits, but altcoins will always be necessary.

If the bitcoin goes up, the altcoins go down, it means that it is much more attractive to buy altcoins with cheaper prices than before, then what the speculator and the investor expect is that when a bitcoin correction is generated, they buy the altcoins because in the same way the altcoins will become cheaper and will start at any time to grow and recover, at this moment, it is not yet the bullrun of the market, I think that there is still a long time for that, because there are many bitcoins to accumulate.

The Strong Hands can raise and lower the price to the levels that they want what they must have precuasion is to know in what you can invest, without affecting much the volatility of bitcoin. If you have action plans, it is easy to protect yourself against the volatility of the market, because the ideal is to buy when it is cheaper and sell when it is more expensive, and at this time the market offers the option to buy at the stage where it is cheaper .

After that, at the moment that the sacrifices of the altcoins for bitcoin are returned, because people will take refuge in altcoins that are safer and able to protect their investment.

I wouldn't say that it's confirmed yet. The price could still fluctuate and it' s yet to see if we will have steady price rise or the price will fall under 6000$ again. The good thing is that investors are more encouraged now and reflects on the market in positive way.

technically this bitcoin bull run was confirmed the day the drops ended and accumulation began since the accumulation is the first step of a bull run and in bitcoin this step can be longer but it always signals the coming bull run. and that started a couple of months ago. so even if you had doubts, they should have been resolved the day price started rising with a strong buy support behind it in the $4k range which was last month. now we are already in the bull run mode.

For some investors they don't look at to the movement price daily, but they will collect per months every result of price movements. As said above for the 60 day bitcoin has been increasing more than 50% whilst there is no altcoin who achieve it. So as they will change their strategy and move their assets to bitcoin and you can see it now the price bitcoin up and leave the red color in altcoin. Maybe the bull market will come because the sign has been seen for an instance we often pass if there is an exchange which have scammed by hacker then we need a long time to make the price up again but now we need several hours to make bitcoin price up again.

The price continues to rise rapidly, altcoin 'prices continue to fall all the time, and even the hacking of a big exchange like Binance does not negatively affect the price ... Yes I think the bullrun begins.

I don't recall where I read this but we were advised to stop using forked bitcoins if we wanted the prices of BTC to go up, maybe people listened and stopped using these alts & now all the money is flowing back into the original bitcoin.

Nah, altcoins take a while, because they have been on the back of Bitcoin for so long I think they also need now time to react. Bitcoin buyers are increasing,,, but I think it is more with fiat money to buy, rather than using altcoins at exchanges (Selling to get BTC). Volumes are actually decreasing for Bitcoin if you look carefully, price is upping but volume not following. Of course it is worse for altcoins, but I do not think this means any correlation.

In short, this is not the bull.

Stopping of use of bitcoin forks would lessen their volume and that can result that people will turn back to bitcoin, mostly those fork supporters. But it's not just all about that, this applies mostly to all altcoins.

Its too early to confirm the bullrun for just a $2k increase but i will agree that it has already begun. The price now has only one direction going up and not a roler coaster ride which has indefinite datas of prediction. If it will continue for another month then i think its confirmed.

nothing is sacrificed here. it's all normal for me, altcoin isn't bad just need time to adjust. bitcoin is indeed rising now, I admit that. altcoin maybe in the next few days it will also follow. like before this would be like repetition.

If I see the price hits at $7k tommorow or the other days to come maybe there's already a confirmation to that bull run. But for the main time let's just be cool and stay at ease while we're not actually reaching to that point. Some coins now also gaining good momentum in parallel with bitcoin's greener trends for the past hours, hopefully there's another strike to surge for more hours to go. We can't expect it to be quick, at least there's a bigger chance that could break as soon as possible.

The cryptocurrency market is growing strong and it will be a sign for bull market for some people but those people that are bearish in the market just like me believe that bitcoin might go up up to 6500 something. But after that rise, it might go down and don't you worry it is its preparation for the next bull run. Then bull run is confirmed.

Better to trace back those old days when the market showed like this, it's a temporary situations as most of alts holders will jumped in to bitcoin to get much better profits, the cycle will turned back to alts after investors already enjoyed and casho out from bitcoin and find good alts to divert, bull is not about sacrificing but all about trusting your assets, you will earned bigger if you have good anticipations with what alts will bounce back much stronger.

Market volume prices increase dude in all crypto due to BTC, there is no sacrifice for increasing BTC and all of that is normal. Red ALT caused by people who definitely want to adopt BTC, so there is no sacrifice here just to make use the condition when it improves like this.

I think that this is just something that is purely due to bitcoin's nature being the best cryptocurrency investment, and i don't think that other altcoins will start bull run as well, at least not at this point, sure the price of bitcoin has gone up quite a bit but this does not mean that the market is at a point where there are development and major investment into crypto, but it is something that will lead to a potential increase of the investment overall.

And price has been constantly on the rise since January 2019.

There have been multiple confirmations we are in a bull market. One of them was the price spiking above the 200 day moving average (DMA). Another confirmation was the golden cross - the 50 DMA crossing above the 200 DMA. The momentum, increase in volume, and parabolic rise are other indicators. Of course, a move above $6,500 would solidify this to me.

I can't tell if the bull-run is confirmed yet, but the general market cap  is having a healthy fund inflow. unlike in some weeks back, when we see a quick inflow followed by a sudden liquidation. I hope this organic tempo is sustained, if this continues for weeks without sudden fall in inflow, bull run may have be confirmed. Altcoins will rise again, this time allow the king of all coins to stabilize.

We already saw the bottom and now from $4000 last month to $6300 at this moment I consider it as a bullrun. The trend looks good and I ponder this will be the start

of higher highs depending on the situation. Last few days when binance announce that they got hacked but the market does'nt react that much but we got a little down

that day yet we recovered instantly. In this kind of situation traders sell-off their alts and convert it to bitcoin as they can see that the bitcoin dominance is high.

Lets just see what will happen in the following weeks and months. This will be huge if the trend does'nt break just like what happend before.

No one knows and your title is misleading. You ain't Nostradramus to predict such a big thing. Maybe it was just a simple pumped just to make people go into bitcoin again. You ain't a part of Whale also so you can't really prove your misleading title. Ethereum is still on the verge of dying so it needs some major altcoins to be on a big jump too if the bull run is really on.

If the trend continues until the end of this quarter, we can expect the bull run to further have an impact on the price of bitcoin. This is a golden opportunity for either short/long-term investments especially that prices are skyrocketing now. I find it funny that the prices of altcoins are decreasing but the volume and price of bitcoin is increasing. But I still take the conservative approach as anything can happen due to the market being highly unpredictable.

Best way is to rely on data and market analysis. Wait until the end of the quarter and we may derive the market situation from there. I highly advise to take a conservative approach regardless of the market run that we are experiencing.

Altcoins has been suffering since the start of the bearish trend, almost all the projects are dead or lost so much value. So don't be surprised if investors suddenly dump then because it's been happening.

Well we might say that the bull run is just started but I think it's too early to confirm it. It's better we wait at least 2 more months before we confirm anything.
Also, it's quite obvious to see altcoin price crashing when bitcoin bull run has started. Most people convert their alts to bitcoin resulting in a dump in price of altcoins and pump in price of btc.

I'm thinking what I'm going to do with my savings once bitcoin goes to the moon.  ;D. Seriously though, it's a long way to go, we are not even half of our previous all-time-highs so just be calm and patience.
I would probably reinvest it in a place where I could get stable returns on it, probably a fixed deposit or something. It would definitely not be able to generate returns as much as bitcoin but it will at least be stable and secure.

From the movement that we see I finally noticed ssine last week we are now on the bull run but if you don't believe it it's your choice because your feeling like expevting in 2018 but it not happen but for now they have big chance for recovery.

This is just the beginning since the real bull run would occur next year that's why we may see some slight ups and downs of the price.
Although this is just normal in the market when everyone is doing short at least the price is stable.
Sooner or later we may see the $9000 or even $10000 if the price continues to grow as if someone is pushing it(probably the whales).

I think all possibilities will ultimately benefit Bitcoin. what are you thinking right now?

of course this is the initial stage, when the price of bitcoin is able to experience a sharper increase, it is possible that other altcoins will follow it. although at present most of the altcoin values have declined but it cannot be said that the increase in bitcoin can sacrifice altcoin market price movements

Right now some corrections did occur, this is normal though. It's doesn't mean that the bears suddenly regain the market. We have been spiking in the last 2 days and investors ought to book some profits and will probably re-invest again later.

There's a lot of support along the $7k price and the rest of Ethereum didn't move a bit, just 1%-5% down, so that's minimal. So we are still in a bullish trend.

Yes, there will be support/resistance along the way, this is how the market operations, and it will be beneficial for all of us.

A lot of topic recently regarding bitcoin dominance personally this price flow is a good run to confirmed a bull run its almost a year since bear market stop if you already gain profit then take it dont be greedy it always right to secured your asset apecially in this situation. We cannot say if bear market is already stop because any time the situation can be change.

We should be able to get a general direction now because its finally showing use some analysis to perform.

When $6400 broke, we hit $7600 simply due to bear short squeeze by the fact that the OI was 700M and the funding rate was very large. And then we went from $7600 to $6800 simply due to the fact of a long squeeze. Basically more liquidations were longs than shorts in the last 24 hours. Now that both sides are squeezed we can finally choose a direction.

There is lots of support below us, but its far away at like $6400 and $6000 and $5500 and $4700, either of those should hold in the mid-term.

Fake pump? But I didn't see like that. The price bitcoin meet increasing price just becuase there are some good news come such as facecook has decided back to allowed cryptocurrency ads on their platform. Could you remember when facebook and twitter decided to ban crypto ads last year? What the impact for that reason to cryptocurrency price? The price crypto plunge drastically and even adding time to bearish market. And facebook has been changing their mind and accept crypto ads back and the price them deserve meet increasing price.

well since bitcoin is not some pump and dump altcoin that can change direction that easily at the whim of the pumpers, we can say that the "bear market" has ended for 10000000% certainty right now that price has already increased 145% in 4 months.

I think we are in a bull run already and bitcoin is taking the central stage, even sucking cash away from many of the alts.It is normal to only see growth with bitcoin at the moment, increasing dominance until there is some sort of consolidation and cash moves into the alts.Maybe we will have dominance in the rang of 48-50 percent

I'm really a newbie. I have invested about € 500 when the BTC was in 6000USD. I have maintained my position despite the rebounds on Sunday. The profit that my Coinbase presents right now is around € 15. I do not know what to do. Can you guide me please? Thank you.

Could we be so sure that this is actually a bull run? I don't think so. Many years in Bitcoin have thought me not to take anything for granted. To my opinion we are still in the phase of positive corrections and the upcoming weeks and months will show more clear picture depending on the development of situation on the market.

How can you just have €15 profit when we even at the lowest point this weekend hovered around $6800?

Either way, assuming your profit is 20% with the price hovering over $7200 right now, you might take out the profits and leave your initial €500 in the market. If the price dips, you can buy back more coins, if the price pumps, you still have your €500 worth of Bitcoin. I never let myself depend on one single direction, always two. It also significantly helps reducing stress/panic.

current market is looking good but i believe bull is still far away.lets wait for few more weeks then things will be clear on bull run or red blood ::) ;D
You are the type of person who buys in at the very peak and ride the correction all the way down. The bull run has started back in April. :D

This is the clear picture of Bitcoin bull run because last year also it was growing well in this month. So better if you really like to trading you can earn good for Bitcoin in this month. But this is not a long term Bull run so one day it will grow and again it will fall, then maintain the constant level is possible in crypto market.

Yeah the bull run is well past confirmed. It was quite obvious April 1st when it broke out of the bottom that the bull run had begun. The fact that is stabilized for a month in the low 5000s was strong confirmation of it. And now the last week or so shooting from low 5000s to 7500 should make even the biggest skeptics or more conservative people be sure that we are now 6 weeks into the bull market. So far it looks fairly similar to the first month or so of the last bull market: pop out of the bottom, correct and stabilized or just stabilize for a few weeks, another pop up (which just happened) and stabilized after that.

The last bull market then went mostly sideways and a little up for some half year until the halving (or was it brexit? I see to remember the spike up around the halving time happened the day or day after the brexit vote). Anyway, I think the market is way too excited and growing to see a cooling off for half a year as the bull market gets ready to move further. So much cash is sitting on the sidelines waiting to come in, with Wall St titans starting to move in, and so much media attention on bitcoin these days. I don't see bitcoin taking a long break between the first couple pops up of the bull market and the rest of the ascent like it did last time. Things will probably happen faster than we all have been expecting, just like the bear market lasted slighly shorter than last time and the bottom of the market lasted only half of what it was last time. Big money is finally looking to get into the market and the retail market is gonna be dying to get in as prices keep rising. In fact I wonder if we could see a 2013-type double bull run this time around. If things move really quickly here maybe we'll see a first bubble in the next year and then a second bubble in 2021 reach the final peak of this bull market. hmm.

Yes, undoubtedly, now the prices of all major altcoins have decreased significantly, however, I assume that this is a temporary phenomenon and they will rise again to their previous levels in the next month and many of them are even higher. Therefore, now is a great time to replenish the reserves of altcoins for those who have not had time to do this before.

This is not a subject of debate bitcoin is most trusted among all those altcoins as per its volatility and its volume traded although its somehow unusual seeing bitcoin pumps  while altcoins struggles I believe this will cause FUDs for altcoins hodlers who will dump them and buy bitcoin thus causing more dumps.
Bitcoin had really shown a good sign of recovery invariably its market is becoming bullish.

Take the profit and leave the capital, that's all you have to do.

And if you don't need for the meanwhile the profit you took out of your total money in coinbase, you can buy back but you need to watch closely the market.

Technical analysis does indicate the market has turned bullish but that's not to suggest it will remain that way as there are many factors that could slow the momentum that is building, however it is looking increasingly positive for further growth and Bitcoin is increasing its dominance due to investors realizing just how much potential it has and are being more careful about what they invest in and no longer splashing out on any flashy new coins or tokens that may promise quick returns but don't represent long term viability

Good advise mate, yes, we should learn to take profit as we don't know what will happen ahead.
The market is moving really well, but it's so fast so bad things could come after the pump, if you will not sell you might end up regretting.
When you take your profit, you will minimize your possible loses but you can still expect a good return over time with the remaining amount you hold.

I am not entirely sure what is considered to be a bull, at what point you call something a bull ?
For example, if the price went from 3400 to 3700 we wouldn't have called it a bull run, it was just movements that happened daily so nobody called it a bull (except a few excited people).

If the price of bitcoin moves from 3400 to 100k then we call that a great bull run for sure and accept it. However, when it moved from 3400ish prices to 8000 do we call it a bull? I think I would like to call that a bull run, that is more then double the price it used to be and then some so it could be a bull run for sure but is everyone agreeing with me ?

Maybe people want to see that 20 thousand dollars again in order to call it a bull run ?
Maybe some people think it will go back down so its not a big deal yet? I don't know what everyone thinks but to me it is definitely confirmed.

after this continuous inflow of money to the market I think that the bull run has already started.
It is very optimistic to see that investors do not only invest in bitcoin but in altcoins as well. This shows to me that their is a huge trust for the industry and that this year is going to be a profitable one for anyone who was gathering crypto all this time.

Do not forget that taking profit alone will also reduce the quantity of your holding and except you take everything out, convert it to fiat, remove the profit and hope that you get a dip price to buy from again. If you take profit alone, and something happens to the market, then the quantity of your coin that has reduced will also cause drastic reduction in value too.

If we are not a trader, I think it would just be best to leave the investment till we are able to reach the ATH, because Those who took profit at ATH will always be richer than those that took profit along the line. Taking profit along the line could also be risky because getting a dip price to buy again may be difficult.

Why not take the capital and leave the profit on your wallet? I think this is more effective and a more safe kind of investment. The bull is confirmed and many already make their profit, the market dumps small because investors take their profit its good to follow them. No one can say if the market will pump high, so secure your capital now and play only with your profits.

We managed to hit 8000 for the fourth time within this week! This is literally the definition of a bull run.

We have moved more than 100% in less than 2 months, that is more than we could ever hope for in an increase, hell even when we managed to break 4200 and was at around 4600 people started to call it a bull run and even if that wasn't a bull run enough for people we are now at over 8 thousand dollars. That means we have moved much more than any other financial investment method out there, bitcoin once again showed that even though it is the perfect payment method out there it is also the greatest investment product as well.

People may love bitcoin because it has superb protections, decentralized and even for how easy to pay for something with bitcoin but the real awesomeness of bitcoin no matter at what point (even if it is 20k) you bought bitcoin, one day you will profit from it for sure and its not going to bankrupt on you like others.

You can reverse and take the capital or what do good with any of the two.

I usually take the profit and just watch the market with the remaining capital I have in investment. I hope that OP catch up with the quick phasing of the market that seems turning into bull run now.

Traders are just buying this move, most of their alt holdings are being sold for bitcoin.

they don't want to miss this train.

Everyone is an "Expert" and can predict the future when it comes to crypto, didn't you know that? It is funny though to see all these people come out of nowhere making predictions like they actually know what they are talking about. I've been guilty of it at times in the past, but I always say it is just my personal opinion and more of an educated guess than anything. It is simple as that, they don't want to miss the train resulting in panic buying.

It would have been the safest means, but you and I know that for now, no matter the increase, it still cannot be as high as the capital that was committed into the investment, and the more money you have in bitcoin, the more increase you will get when there is a sudden surge in price of bitcoin.

If one removes the capital, then the investment left which would be the profit now will be very slow in gathering profit when there is any increase in price, it is better we just leave all the capital and profit for the time the coin reaches its ATH, so that by that time, both the capital and the previous profit would have yielded bigger profit.

Selling altcoins now is already bad, they should have sell early.
They are risking their future when selling alts especially if the current value now is down big time.
Due to the last bear market, most altcoins dropped to a very low price, so it's not a good idea to cut loss at the low price.
We know that altcoins will also have its chance to rise, as they dump hard, they might pump hard.

Maybe it's nice to start fresh money in buying bitcoin than selling alts for bitcoin.

Indeed i also think is not ok to sell altcoins now, is better to wait for a bull run like happen on 2017 and only after sell, or at least to wait until the price grow so can get a higher amount, but now i think there is some correction and need to wait more for a bull run where we can have new ATH.
