bitcoin has been on the bull run currently.it looks like the glorious days are back but how long will it last. when are we seeing the bulls on the altcoins just like it is happening on bitcoin. i believed that people make more money on altcoins than bitcoins.

The past was a time of bubble where media also played a major role and common people were in FOMO.
It resulted in a drastic upturn of cryptos combined with bull runs is when we saw a growth of +40~+200% in a single day for a lot of coins.
The chance of happening it in the future is slim but the mature growth of cryptos will continue and we will break ATH of mostly all the coins in coming years.
Mostly after 2020 as BTC BR is going to be half.

if it happen , i am sure it just whales pumping.not organic pump but whales trying to manipulate crypto price.to make altcoin price rise 50% in day ofcourse will need much money.but becarefull we could trapped in.

this is a good thing, let's hope the altcoin will be good this year. investing in crypto is very promising, we have to invest in altcoin. I really hope that this year bitcoin or altcoin can be better than last year.

Nobody knows when this bull run will last but wait until the halving's done to see more positive effect of it.
I made more with bitcoin but I've heard and read people who are into altcoins made that much during the bull run.

altcoins have been getting pumped this year ever since bitcoin price became stable in $3k range. by that time the pumpers were starting to become very active in altcoin market and the biggest pumps occurred during that time. now we are seeing altcoin dumps during bitcoin rise. and if it remains stable again at $8k range then we can hope for another altcoin pump otherwise if bitcoin continues rising again or falls then altcions will dump again.

Categorically right, if we are talking about the possibilities of more price growth and with initial investment that can get huge earnings, you just needed to find moving Alts and still have good progress, that certain increase can be gained in a much shorter time inside Alts market.

I will also generalize since you did not mention any altcoin of out thousands of them.
Ethereum bull also happened alongside the btc upsurge with the upward movement from $105 to the present price.
The btc bull has positive effect on the price of all altcoin since they are been traded in satoshi.
Altcoin can not have daily 50%profits unless pump and dump coins

There some reason for that 50% , 100% a day which is either Fomo and pump , but the bull run is coming soon when people will be jumping in to coins with different aim , so I advice to have selected coins that you know are good at holding now and enjoy the ride when the bull comes while you can also have some btc for regular trade as well.

That would be a bubble.. the crypto industry is passed that.. this would do more harm than good in the crypto space.. slow and steady pump is the best kind of pump we could ever wish for

I do not think alts are under any influence of bulls at the moment, im talking about relatively newer coins and tokens, at the moments it seems like btc and eth run is pushing other coins further down i want to see all my coins atleast for ico value if not more and for that i think we have to wait more.

Maybe the make 50% profit in a day from altcoins we will need a bull run like on 2017 or even better than at that time. Or we will need some whales who can buy and increase the price by buying and buying.

growth isn't so fast like ti did last bullrun so this is a slow climb up. after he demand eats all the sell walls, we may be seeing that bulls just like the old days. the struggle today is pretty much harder and you can feel its manipulated. just when it touched the 9K, it suddenly were dragged down to $8200. and if this is the case, you can already see how massive it will be in the future.

We will see the bull run on the altcoin, no need to worry. You need to prepare for that and don't miss the chance because that will be happening in one or two times and after that, usually the price becomes stable. But I guess that it needs the patient to see altcoins can increase more than 50% in a day because that is not easy to lift the price if there are no good news or something happen with the project. So you need to stay alert from what will happen in the market so you can catch the chance to make a profit.

That would be happen if the market is on bullish we can see altcoins increasing 50% in a day, and yes many people make more money on altcoins than bitcoin, take a look in bitcoin SV it was increased 100% in just 1 day on may 30, I think.

If I'm not mistaken 50% inrease in one day never had happened before. The price of altcoin is actually being pulled by bitcoin. As long as bitcoin is on the rise, the whole market rises also. You don't need to be so excited to expect that much increase in a day. You need patience. A continuous increase is good enough to earn profit that might reach 50% in few days.

That is where I dont agree. You can earn more by btc cause this is a major coin and likely the first one to increase when a bull run happened again. I think the marketcap composition is consist of bitcoin and only few for altcoins. Altcoins is relatively cheaper compared to bitcoin but btc is pretty well stable compared to alts. If you can choose a good alt then good for you but for me btc is much efficient.

Obviously, It was happened on last week. But most of the inventors are totally avoid the Bitcoin SV because some whales are involving in this hype so that was major issues on may 30. I think we will never said it was a big bull run because many negative feedbacks are spread in the market. But I saw many low level altcoins are going to moon at every day at the same time these are little risky investment on trading platform. So I am not supporting the big hype at quick time.

We can't say that all of us wanted this but of course the bull came. Therefore, there will be a great deal of risk in the period. Be careful.

Bitcoin has almost won back half of the lost, but the Altcoins, which have fallen to 100 times, have not grown as far as that, perhaps they will go when Bitcoin is adjusted.

I don't think that's going to happen very soon. Such a stir as last year will have a very long time to raise. Many people are disappointed in the cryptocurrency and now are afraid to invest in it. The growth will be gradual and long.

Okay now about subject,you can go to coinmarket cap site and see most profitable coins in last 24 hours you can even  see 3 digit growths for some coins.

Some altcoins are already beginning to show good growth. No one said that the bull run will be as swift as in 2017. The market has already started to recover and this is very good for the current situation. Earning in crypto has not become as easy as before.

Oh, but have you forgotten this "bullrun" started with the ALTs? Do you remember when coins were doing 200%, 100%, 70% etc daily trades. ENJ did it and many others until Bitcoin took over and they all corrected. anyway it can happen again tho but we need to give Bitcoin sometime to be a little lenient with the ALTs lol :).

when bitcoin price  is increasing, altcoins prices decreases because people will want to ride the bitcoin wave to make profits. but when bitcoin price is stable, altcoins price inceases. but during massive bull run, some good altcoins increases in price alongside with bitcoin. 

Bitcoin is still not in a bull run, we can't be so sure if what's happening right now is just a correction. In any case, 50% increase AND decrease in a day is possible for alts since it is like leverage. It is also true that people profit more in alts since it is more dynamic.

Still not find any yet? Binance's IEO Harmony (ONE) already made it: >100% profit if you got early entry. According to my observation, Binance is deliberately pumping its old and new IEOs (Fet, Matic or Celer). It's not surprise if these coins insanely pump in the next few days.

i really think that making 50% profit a day from altcoins in a day is impossible, even with bitcoin making the much profit in a day is not going to happen, on of the reason why altcoins don't have much profit in them and don't go as much as bitcoin, is that there are a lot of them, the crypto market probably have more than 1000 coins, and probably each one of them has a very small community compared to how many people are suing bitcoin, so the demand on them would be low compared to bitcoin, and even if you invest in multiple ones you still won't get as much profit as you would with bitcoin.

Altcoin has always been slow in price changes but they'd nonetheless follow bitcoin's trend. Bitcoin makes higher rise in price but the total profit in ROI might happen with low priced alts or coins with low supply as they easily double their price with short bull run. So, yes, large money are made through altcoins than bitcoin.

Isn't the altcoin now experiencing bullishness like bitcoin? yes I know even though the increase is not high, but if you are smart in scalping it will produce big profits.

BSV, ABYSS, BCH, ETH, etc. haven't all of these coins experienced extraordinary improvements? Do you still not benefit from the pump yesterday?

for altcoin bullrun I am not sure that it will happen in the near future, but some altcoins have already experienced a number of things like that just don't last even some of them only happen in a matter of hours, maybe we will see that when Bitcoin has a price above $ 9 K and the price is stable at that time (only estimates)

Well, while the situation with the Altcoins is not clear. Perhaps investors simply transfer money to Bitcoin. I see how many altcoins are still in the fall.

Altcoin top has been pumped pretty much, there are some altcoin like EOS, LTC that have increased more than 4 times since the lowest price earlier this year

Historically we could see that alt-seasons come in winter months. I pray that same situation will happen again, I need to cumulate more Bitcoins because I am afraid of altcoin future.

I think 50% in a day is not that much because we have seen altcoins with over 200% in a day during the last bull market. I believe the glory days are still very much ahead and we will still experience another magnificent bull run in the market very soon. Once we have bull run then we can even have 500% increase in a day.

Some altcoins actually get 50%/day at now but these are just pump and dump coins. Increasing some much in so brief time is not not healthy  ::)

Have a look at coin marketcaps, you'll see lot of cryptos are pumping every day, often with pretty small volum and on shady exchanges. If you are waiting to see top 30 alts increasing 50% in one day, you'll wait for long imo...

I think alt coin still needs time to experience something similar to bitcoin. I see nowadays traders like playing safe to avoid similar vices like some time ago. so it needs special attention from each altcoin team to restore investor confidence.

Not all as you say, if you have 1 BTC when you buy it at a price of $ 6000 and you hold it to date, you get a profit of around $ 1000.  Although the benefits obtained are long-term, it is different from the benefits of Altcoin which has a price that has not been stable and has sometimes dropped dramatically.  Playing trading at Altcoin requires precision in seeing the coin to be able to predict the price of updates every hour.  Playing on Altcoin is like gambling, you bet to buy lots of coins and you only have 2 answers to win or lose.

Yes, we must be able to choose the best Altcoin, because if we choose bad Altcoin, it will be difficult to see satisfactory price movements in the market, and we have to wait very long to see Pump prices.

It does make sense that some of altcoin investors choose to withdraw their money from all those alts simply because they are trusting bitcoin more I mean it is their choice to invest into altcoin however some showing a really poor progress then moving back to btc is the wisest option and because btc is a the bull run aswell, there's many altcoins that does poorly at this time and that is not a new thing, every btc bull run some altcoin will just go down even deeper.

I think the center of attention right now is all about bitcoin. But this is the right way to rise altcoins. I think altcoins will rise if bitcoin is in a good price. But to see altcoins do 50% profit in a day, it is not the time yet.

I think this is still happening ,all you need to do is pick the right altcoin and in no distance time,  it will begin gaining value. There are some coins that have done double or more, you just need to get the right information.

There have been cases where altcoins did over 1000% pump, which to me is not new. So saying that altcoins being capable of 50% growth in a day, is like limiting their potentials.
They are the ones that find it very much easy to grow.

Nope, this thing will be almost impossible to see, yes you might can see it but after it reach 50%. The probability could be 1:300 and of course i'm pretty sure there would be some manipulation on that changes. Exception for big/major coin with big event.

In the bull run, all major altcoins get pumped hard and everythin becomes green. It is not the ability of the trader but the market itself gives us the opportunity to jump in the boat. The hype is good and it keeps us alive in the bear market.

Too many times counterproductive projects made roughly 200% in one hour earlier last year. It is now impossible to pump the same coins that have no daily trading volume and these coins are unofficially dead. There are more than worthless cryptocurrencies that required for feeding the whales.

You cant expects altcoins to start pumping up to 50% per day like in the past ,its more like gradual process now so of might still takes a while before altcoins start bullrun

Everyone predicts that we should see the altspring soon, but I do not understand how this can happen if Bitcoin starts a correction. I've always believed that altcoins follow Bitcoin. So maybe now is the best time for altcoins.

I hope it will happen soon, I'm looking at my wallet all the time checking if I receive my bounty, and checking some coins in my wallet coming from ICO campaign and investing and checking if they are listed in the market, and if they provide liquidity, but unfortunately I'm not seeing akk these yet.

50% in a day is too much. It is very likely that there will never be such a profit about which you write. Some moderate growth is possible.

Maybe you have not been following some of this altcoins trend and since the beginning of this bull run some altcoins has given return of almost 200%. Coins like bitcoincash, bitcoinsv, binance, ethereum and litecoin has gaining over a 100% for the months of May alone. However, this are not for one day but some of them a seriously doing very well.

Some altcoins have even seen more than 50% profit in a day. For instance, BSV did about 100% due to the so called fake news, I'm not saying it was a fake news. Other altcoins have seen sharp increase too above that percentage, so it's not strange.

I don't think that will happen, yup maybe someday. altcoin market demand is still far below Bitcoin. if altcoins are able to increase their product and marketcap, their market prices will definitely grow by itself. and if altcoin wants to increase demand, they must return to their product design goals at the start of the launch, not just open exchange markets.

Yes, people make more money on altcoins than bitcoins but that was some years ago, there are so many coins coming  from last year and two years ago that are not moving at all some of them do not have liquidity at all, we can only trust top coins in the market to create their own all-time high.

I agree that so many altcoins are pumping more compared to Bitcoin there's a possibility that it's going to happen this again, Tron has been making the announcement of their pump and so are Eth and litecoin, but not all coins will have the same experience, there are a lot of coins that are now dying.

It is unfortunate that the market is overtaken by bitcoin so far, and the rise in most of altcoins depends on bitcoin. It means altcoins increase in price only when bitcoin surges. I am sure all altcoin price will increase as you would expect when the price of Bitcoin increases to $ 18000 and at that time all altcoin price will increase very high (giving you more than 50% profit), because when Bitcoin price reaches $ 18000, I am sure that is the time for all altcoin price to the moon (bull run), like what happened at the end of 2017.

I think that the US regulators have noticed the trend of bullrun. Most likely, they will be able to approve BAKT and then the increase in the price of the crypto currency will be able to continue for an unlimited amount of time.

Majority of these coins are not so strong to achieve that naturally without the bull run, I mean bull run for altcoins, and before we can expect any bull run for altcoins like the last one that happened will be towards next year. Organic pumping is really difficult to make this altcoins pump naturally, it would have been lot easier if there are few projects in the market left as option for investors anytime we see new investors or anytime older invest make investment. Look at binance with all the struggle, all the handwork., all the great team and working projects, they still can’t boast of 10% everyday, not to talk of 50%, so then how would all the project we have that doesn’t have real life working project thrive without a whale’s pump.

Of course it is. The fact is that you can earn quite a lot on altcoins and for the fact that they cost much less than bitcoin and accordingly you can buy more of them. On the whole, altcoins grow much more often than bitcons as a percentage, so if you want to make good money, then invest in altcoins.

In the past yes, investors are having great profit in altcoins, in fact, those coins that are considered as pump and dump coins are doing great in the market, but now it looks like it's not going to happen again, even good projects are having a hard time getting a good price in the market, imagine majority of the coins coming from ICO are over 90% down in their ICO price.

That's it. You won't see altcoins going up 50 percent in one day unless you get pretty lucky and pick some minor new coin that gets some momentum.

You know the last bull run has a massive hype, it was mentioned by my old people who close to me who not so fancy in tech mind you, so one of the sign will always the mainstream hype that you can feel.

That will happen when bitcoin increases over 50 percent but as of this year i think bitcoin didnt achieve that goal yet and that is also the reason on why altcoins wont just pump over 50 percent however there are some alts that have recovered and increased a bit  . altcoins is more stable than bitcoins therfor alts will experience a delay even if bitcoin is already pumping

Altcoins can give a gain and not 50%, And much more, but so far it does not even smell. The units of altcoins certainly show good growth, but so far there are very few of them.

Life is turn by turn. The trend has always been that if btc pumps, it will correct, before allowing the rise of altcoins. Presently, we are experiencing the correction of bitcoin. So i think we should be expecting altcoins to start pumping.

Alt season is always occuring after a BTC bull run, not before.

Already,when individual projects were given a day at 200-300% percent,of course it's not TOP 10 assets of the TOP 500 was,you just didn't notice,but if you mean when the market will in General give,then when capital will go up,and now still current starts to slowly sweep

I agree that many people make money on altcoins rather than bitcoin. I see this bull will survive in 2019. But for how long it lasts, I can't answer.

I think that now you can earn on Bitcoin and Altcoins, just need the right strategy, the main thing is less emotion friends.

Yes that's true, lot of traders here in this field of business are making their profit through altcoins.
Because if they are going to buy Bitcoin directly its too expensive unlike in altcoins there is a big chance for us
to earn huge amount of bitcoin in the future. And besides, there are other altcoins now that are getting increased its price

50% profits in a day is huge.I don't think any altcoin can increase this much percent in just 24 hours.But I believe in Ethereum most after bitcoin because ETH my one of favourite and promising coin.Considering the situation of market I think only ETH can give you that much of profit in 24 hours.But it will be a record breaking increase in the market.I think Doge, Monero have a little chance to Increase 50% within a day.           

Altcoins will yield 50% profit or more within a day when an individual learns how to do Day-trading with much expertise because it is only through Day-trading that an investor or trader can earn on daily basis. Irrespective of the market situation, there are some Day-traders who earn as much as 30% daily.

The glorious day of bitcoin hasn't arrived yet, this is just the beginning, usually when bitcoin rally the alt will follow, but 50% day profit is too big, usually that will cause big correction, and since bitcoin rising is not that stable yet, we won't see 50% profit in day from alt coin soon, we need a bigger bull run to do that

You cannot just wait to see the alts raising with 50%. You need to be an experienced trader to see these numbers. I Day Traded for a good year or so.

Used Cex.io to buy crypto with credit card (they have a serious mark-up though, be careful).
Later transfered to Bittrex or HitBTC. I used the latter as the pump n dumps were easier to spot for some reason, maybe because of lower vols.

The beauty of crypto trading is that you can start with 10 bucks if you like, just make sure to adjust your strategy and the coins you go for depending on your budget.

Been expecting some of my altcoins to moon, but they have been sleeping and they make me loss out on the profit of bitcoin. Maybe we may not be seeing what we saw altcoin did in 2017. Let's hope for the best and not shot our hope too high.

I think you gonna need to wait longer more time as Bitcoin is falling again but hopefully this is just temporary that the bullish run for Bitcoin was just interrupted by some panic people. Altcoins are always depending on Bitcoin performance and they are so many Alts now in the market so i say Alts Bullish run will become possible if Bitcoin bullish will never be delayed.

This can happened mate. But its not everyday consistently. Once he earned on this day around that then sold it and take it, dont wait for more correction on ups and down. I guess many people are saying that this is impossible but it already happened last 2017 bull run. So it will happen again.

50% profit in a day isn't likely to happen for the top, established alts. Certainly it can happen amongst the lower cap coins, but that is obviously difficult to work out.
As for when alts will start to rise faster than BTC, it depends if the bull continues. If BTC continues to grow, and then starts to slow down, that might be the time that alts take over.

It already happened on several altcoin. If you do your research, some of them gained 60%-100% in the past weeks. I think altcoins' time will arrive but not very soon so I guess we all just have to wait. And do not expect the 50% gain in your shitcoins again because pumping groups just use them and leave after and find another one.

The time is about right, I checked tabtrader this morning in 24hrs time Fram a coin on my watch list has done 75% holding a little bit strong at 42% currently. Not sure it's a healthy growth is more like a pump it might dump as well.

Bitcoin price drop down to 7600$ now from the almighty 8k plus so I suspect this will bring a better correction and altcoins will adjust in value ,maybe I'm wrong or not let's wait

Seeing market growing up like this i suggested that there will be a bull run this 2019 , which is the time we are being waiting for.

I think that the bull run will start soon enough. Bitcoin dropped to 7600 7700 usd levels but this is correction imo. After correction we will see rises in whole crypto world.

Altcoin could give us big profits than bitcoin but i think altcoin price depend on bitcoin. When bitcoin price fall, most altcoin price fall more deeply than bitcoin. I think the most safest investment in cryptomarket is bitcoin.

Only selected coin could increase the price more than 50% daily and most of it are pump and dump coin. I think 2019 different than 2017 when the market very good to grow. in 2019, i think looking growth more than 20% is good if this happen on top 100 coinmarketcap

are you serious there can't be a profit like that in a day, unless you know which one is going to double their price in the next 24 hours. some altcoins are making a good uptrend on the next 24 hours like an uptrend of 100% but some are more than that, that's it require you to know which coin is gonna pump up.

Exactly, that's just a ridiculous amount of profit for someone to expect, in all honesty if that were to happen for real and everyone knows which coin will be pumped to that extent everyone will be rich, although I assume such profit is just a wishful thinking from this topic starter I guess that's just too much profit LOL.

This is tantamount to gambling if we look for coins that can grow within 1 day with a considerable increase. very unlikely. although there is indeed a very high risk because it is usually a low-volume token or coin.and the price is played so that it is able to achieve a substantial increase.

Very likely after a consolidation phase, with strong FOMO going on after certain catalyst, like 10k BTC that stabilise for weeks. These kind of price action only found in crypto and was really unbelievable. Still possible for many coins working on great returns. I believe Bitcoin's growth is inevitable and those alts driving on solid development, adoption would certainly be pumped on such stage, many were still under ICO price since 2017 drop.

It's been a longer of time that many of altcoins can't pump up without bitcoin. Because bitcoin is the only one who follow for pumping and dumping.

Judging by what OP said, to me, he didn’t say 50% on a daily basis which even newbies knows that it will never be possible, but for altcoins to reach 50% in a particular day is absolutely possible, which it is even possible for them to get double of that. During altcoins time, when bitcoin is moving sideways, most altcoins tends to gain very abnormal increase in which many of them even goes as high as 500% in a day, and like that for some days.

As we are gradually approaching this season which will be very soon when bitcoin starts pumping so hard and the stop for sideways, altcoins will pump and I expect that this is the right time for some to start accumulating alts.

Previously that had happened when Bitcoin experienced an increase. but altcoin doesn't really increase as much as bitcoin. And with that increase alone people can benefit. So we don't have to wait for the altcoin to increase higher if you want to make a profit. With the increase now we can make profits.

I think that when bitcoin starts the correction and its price is expected to touch $6000, the season of altcoins will start and we will be able to get a good profit. Although some altcoins give a good profit in the pair against the dollar even today.

Do you mean a particular altcoin or all the altcoins? I think it's a very easy one for an altcoin to do 50% in a day but when is a question no one can answer. If we all can know which altcoin or when the altcoin will do 50%, all will be millionaires.

Very few selected out of hundreds of coins only certain coins might rise by that % in a day if speaking about it. If we see for a month or more than that then we could have some good top altcoins as well which  could give a good rise may not exactly be 50% or so but very good returns on our investment.

This will happen with cheap Altcoin. When they receive support from any whale, it can also increase 50% in just a few hours. Or you can choose the new Altcoin listed on the exchanges because the Altcoins will get support from the development team to promote the price and fix prices.

My believe is people are making more with bitcoins than altcoins. I hold mostly with bitcoin but I still have some alts but that's my portfolio and I can say that I'm earning more with bitcoin than altcoins. With your question of 50% in a day, did you just noticed and saw bitcoin 2's pump?

What altcoins ? You must be specific because not all altcoins are going to pump 50% because 50% is too much and even bitcoin itself is experiencing a hard time reaching that growth  .  basically some alts will follow the trend of btc and those alts are mainly eth , bch , xrp or i can simply say all the top 5 to 10 coins based on cmc  . aside from those , other alts can still pump but not too much and they will take a little more time  .

I have seen some of the alts rising by as much as 100% in a single day. And most recently, we have the case of BSV (Bitcoin Satoshi Vision), which went up by 100% in 24 hours. But the thing to remember here is that most of these alts had a very low market cap, and in most cases the total value was less than $1 billion. So even after the 2x rise, these coins never managed to get in to the top-5 list.

Generally the Altcoins movements are initially slow at the eve of the bull but later at the peak of the bull run it will give you enough profit even more than 5000% profit you can enjoy. So, wait patiently. But, some of the good coin like, BTT, NPXS, Cardano etc now already given you 50% profit.

I think we already saw with some of the coins. For example, Monacoin can increase higher although I think that is only a flash pump that happens in one day, and then the price was back to the lower price. We will see more coins that can increase higher, and maybe it's more than 50% profit in a day, and when that time comes, you can expect to make a lot of money from your coins.

I don't think what you have said is right, Bitcoin has made a lot of people to go from nothing to millionaires. So I'd say that Bitcoin is what's making a lot of people rich, I haven't seen anyone make comment on altcoins, though I know there are people making from it as well. But this is all about getting the right information and doing the right things at the right time, if not, you're just ending up a loser for sure. So altcoins or Bitcoin doesn't matter, you need to know your purpose for investing and what you really want before choosing any coin. Lots of people goes for Bitcoin because it popular, but there are lots of altcoins that are far better than bitcoin.

You need to be careful in such a bull market as it is not clear how long this period of growth will last.

i think that is too impossible, all need to proccess to get profit.
you need to learn how market crypto is work and learn how thats your token grow.
if you can't know that 50% profit in a day is never.

don`t think that Bitcoin is on a Bullrun now but as for alts, there are already some alts that give 20-40% in a day. or 30% in 4-5 days. there are a lot of opportunities on the market but all of them is hard to find.

The bull run of Bitcoins didn't happened in a day so why do you expect a 50% profit in a day? Altcoins will gradually climb back to the top of the ladder but not in a rappid manner. Some altcoins can reach that profit target in a day if it is pumped in the market but won't perform the same in another time.

They may be beneficial on the gains of bitcoin. But that cannot be the fact that they also engage on bull run. Many things to consider, especially on their development part. If they are active, they are in good hands.
