I was really shocked by this news, because I supported and campaigned for this IEO.
I think we have to wait for confirmation from IDX, and let's be patient to wait for the positive attitude of IDAX.
Hopefully this case does not have a negative impact on other IEOs.

This is really shocking ,idax is one if the top exchanges we have in Crypto space and I am promoting cryptomarketads presently ,what is going on? I hope they get to the bottom of this

Well I'm not ,we are asked to pass KYC on these exchanges too but the fact is we need to start knowing those we trust with our funds either trading or fund raising ,exchanges are the ones that needs KYC themselves, no one knows the real identity of the people behind idax exchange ,I guess they are anonymous ,these kind of exchanges are dangerous

It looks like not only idax but most of exchange sites are doing it except those trusted exchange site with a good reputation. coineal or bitforex are much better

I don't believe IDAX did a scam because in recent months they have just become a member of the coinmarketcap .
I also don't know the full details about this problem, just wait for the clarification from IDAX.

Other IEO projects have no problems, but the project itself has a huge problem and is particularly related to money. I think both will soon settle down because Crypto MarketAds's way of working is lack of professionalism. Now it is still too early to confirm this because if this happens, the participants will have a lot of problems in liquidating this coin at IDAX exchange and I don't want this problem to happen.

The scammed accused did happened ,I just confirmed from the cryptomarketads team ,we need to spread the words and I hope they take some right steps on idax ,since they have the proofs its good ,this nonsense dubious ways has to stop one way or the other

Terrible behavior from IDAX! I thought that this exchange is trying to become new multi trading platform user friendly, but it seems that they only want to get quick money and leave. I am withdrawing all my funds from this exchange.  ::)

I did not like this exchange right away. They list some scam projects. So far, there is no answer to this announced case. But no matter how well they answer, I do not change my opinion.

A lot of projects are implementing IEO at idax pro and those are not legit projects. A lot of virtual projects and virtual members were created to scam people, I didn't participate in any IEO in this exchange. And I'm not too surprised to exchange this scam user, stay away from it

I received a notification on Telegram of the CMA group. I am worried about winning this notification from the team, and many projects are present on IEO IDAX. IDAX does not have any statement to explain this. I think that means that IDAX has admitted that they are officially Scam.

OMG this is so bad bad news for cryptocurrency world.
i used IDAX Exchange a month ago and all is right no problem or some issue.
but if it really scam that is make me shock.

IDAX launch some IEO which coins on IEO there is not very popular and unknown coins.

i look in the CMA group and see that the accusation is real while in idax group they say it just a humor

Seemingly that CMA is a good project. I think being a good project is the reason why they were 'scammed' but we need a confirmation about this. That's actually not a good idea though if this is true, IDAX's reputation will be destroyed.

I do not know if it is true, but if yes a lot of people are in trouble. Many crypto currencies users are using this exchange and taking part in their IEOs and if they are just simulating all the sales, it will harm the whole industry.

That's why the only exchanges  i trust are Switch.ag (http://Switch.ag) and their dex Switchdex.ag (http://Switchdex.ag). For everything else there is Binance. Don't play with your money.

There is no need arguing about what we have no facts about. If they truly believe IDAX scammed them and not some fakers, they should take up by law, that's the right thing to do. Medium posts won't help in this situation, I really hope this is sorted out.

Do recommend you to research them, both projects are solid, but the important part is that they are extremly safe. You don't need an acount, they don't require for your personal information and they don't hold your funds.

First i thought idax is embezzling the funds they got for ieo but the thing is they are not happy because they paid a huge fee for a such a low volume exchange. I think you deserve this. If you are doing an ieo or ico, you need to know exchanges, which one is good which one is fake. And idax is fake obviously.

I traded in IDAX and never have any issues, although wash trading is present in majority of exchanges. But, this is a serious issue concerning and many projects are affected and this will tarnished IDAX reputation. Trading competition and airdrops in some exchanges are common and I didn't know this is a form of wash trading or manipulation of price.

I have never been on this exchange, I must have listened to my intuition that something is wrong about the exchange. I never considered the IEO project that have bounty on this forum even if they promised 100k for everyone. They are ones with the highest reward for now. Its sad that there might be no way to prosecute them.

I don't know why this news reached this forum. what I know is Projcet Crypto Market ADS (CMA) feels cheated by IDAX, when CMA did the IEO on June 17-18. The CMA team informed us that when they sold the IEO tokens they only got 2 ETH in their account. And said Team CMA they lost around 10 Bitcoin. I don't know whether this news is true or not, so we have to wait for clarification from IDAX.

I've been trading to IDAX for several months and i have no problem dealing to them.
I am supporting the project CRYPTOMARKETADS and i know it is a good one.
I am looking forward for the good conversation of both parties as they might be misunderstang each other.

This has been fate of almost every exchange now or then. I think this will continue to happen until we come up with some regulation. However my personal experience on IDAX has been quite swift and smooth.
Agreeable IDAX does a lot of bot selling and buying whenever you put a limit order in the queue you will immediately find some orders queuing up ahead of you at lesser prices in case of buy.

Truly shocked by this practice and development surrounding Idax. With the status of Idax, It is even more surprising that they have chosen to be associated with this great scam. I wasn't going to believe it but, just today, another project (Migranet) accused Idax of scam and threatened legal proceedings against them. This is completely disappointing. Read the article on the CMA issue on IDAX and I was dumbfounded. This was an outright scam. I believe Thier lawyers will be on top on this. This is why regulations are important in cryptocurrencies a s blockchain. Once detected that their trading volume was fake. CMA should change their token contract details and cancel all sell on IDAX.

I was quite shocked when this news came to my hearing. Idax.pro team must have been possesed by a demon. Imagine,  why they would wanna throw away the building,  success and integrity of yester years for just a few million $? They knows best.

But, they must be exposed and dealt with.

If IDAX is really cheating, then this is very bad, as it undermines the credibility of other exchanges and the IEO as a whole. I am very sorry for the CMA team, since they got a failure from IEO to IDAX. I hope for a quick solution to this problem, although it will probably be a long process.

I was very surprised by this news, because so far I think that the IEO will be more like ICO, because the IEO is protected by the exchange market, so it will provide comfort and security for Investors and projects that carry out the IEO on the exchange. This is really pathetic and shameful,  a really hard blow to the cryptocurrency space entirely. Idax is a big name,  i only wonder what will happen to traders the platform right now trying to get their hard earned money of the exchange... We can only wish that the law will do the justice.

If this one is true then that's it for the IEO, there will be a huge impact on the investors not to participate with this kind of project maybe 30% of investors will not participate again in the IEO if this is true. and let's hope that this kind of thing will not affect the price of the Bitcoin and the altcoins today.

I also joined in one of the campaigns that hold their IEO on IDAX. And about this scam information, be patient and wait for the clarification from IDAX. I don't think that Idax is a top exchange, this is one of the new or small exchanges. However, it is still developing. And about the scam pro, I really feel silly of it and it must be cleared quickly.

By the looks of it, they scam big time with projects conducting IEO in their site, and it is saddening to see them like that, I thought it was a good exchange. We should spread the news about this, they scammed not just 1 or 2 projects but more.

Before posting this topic, i have known this news and it shocked me a lot as IDAX is one of the top exchange. They have cheated in the name of IEO with few projects. At last they cheated and stolen funds and tokens of Migranet and CMA.

This is why I usually warn friends not to buy just anything conducting IEO, some are a pure scam. Bittrex called off their first ever IEO because of integrity issue. Any project that can't meet soft cap on ICO will migrate to IEO and scammers are now on IEO mode.

I was heard yesterday that IDAX scam the Migranet project, they was holding their IEO on there and now Migranet dont have the acess to their IEO raised funds, also they was promised the market making in IDAX, but the token was dumped so hard.

I never rate IDAX exchange because it adds no value to the space, most of their claimed volume are fake, and orders are deceitful, so the claim that they scam IEO project $5 million could be true because it is possible the never raise that money in the first place

I was also a little hesitant about this one exchange, IDAX often held IEOs for unclear projects, for example the ADAB project which was considered a scam last year and they had just successfully held an IEO there, and many other projects that in my opinion they might just take the advantages of every project that holds an IEO there

IDAX.pro stolen money from the last several IEO projects not only CryptoMarketAds. Also Migranet project IEO completed by IDAX Foundation and i'm totally shocked to see how way of price manipulation huge dumping which happened for IDAX selling MIG token. Even another project BLABBER decide to stopped their IEO and exchange listing from IDAX.

I am currently following this incident. There is now another project that has been scammed by IDAX about the money they have been mobilized, which is Blabber. I am currently waiting for evidence from the victim, CMA and Blabber to conclude about IDAX exchange. This is bad.
I also have an investment in XCT, a project at IDAX and I don't know what the future of my money will be.
It seems that we should soon get out of IDAX.

I am sorry to hear that sad news that over five projects have been scammed by the IDAX pro. Incidents of such scam are being carried out openly. But it seems there have not been any initiatives to control them so far. I have heard another exchange BiteBTC which is scamming traders openly. But no measures have been taken to shut or arrest the scammers so far. We need a strong regulator to book such scammers.

I'm one of the Idax users and ever since I never faced any such issues on it. Though, I submitted kyc on IDAX and so far so good.
Actually, I've been doing day trade on IDAX and it gave honestly a good profit every week, so if that is true I know Idax can fix for sure.

The fact is very frustrating. For us. We were not prepared for such an incident. It can be called a type of accident.

One of the projects i am following right was planning some partnership with idax lately but they postponed it almost in the last minute. Maybe thats why they postponed it.

Myself being a part of the idax exchange for a long haven't tried to make an investment on any of the IEO. I prefer using it for the purpose of trading altcoins that has got listed only on idax. Till now haven't encountered any issues while trading in terms of fund transfer and deposits. They were one among the exchanges that are very young and by this time they won't involve into such activities to ruin their growth.

In a situation like this I don't want to immediately say the IDAX Exchange is a scam. Because in the Idax trade there is certainly no problem with the users and I have never experienced trading. For IEO, maybe I'm not so sure, because I don't want to invest in the less popular IEO. I prefer to invest in the IEO on a large exchange.

It is true. I just checked the CMA official telegram group and the pinned message was they were scammed by people from IDAX. And some admin told us that CMC and coingecko is investigating what happened. I hope that there could be justice done in here.

I think this may be a mistake and IDAX will try to contact CMA in the near future so don't rush to conclude that this exchange is scam because this is just an exchange that has just been released in recent years. Your Thread must be wrote in the scam accusation!Well back to the issue this is not the first time that i read this kind of accusation. It should accompanied with solid evidence will thats the case. for now to be fair to other side we should wait IDaX to answer this accusation. Because some of successful IEO on IDAX are legit projects and has no problem so why only CMA has this issue i think its was a simple misunderstanding for both parties.

To operate using a stable country and idax must be registered. They are closed their contract with idax after the latest news has already come from SEC. I guess more company will try to take it as a serious problem.

I thought IDAX is one of the greatest exchange nowadays. But looking to the OP post, it seems like it is a scam exchange. This is the problem I have seen in IEO before. If the exchange is the scammers already, it may affect the popularity of IEOs. Well, this is just the first case and it may happen anytime in the world of cryptocurrency. Personally, I don't believe that Crypto Market Ads raised 5 Million USD from the IDAX launchpad. It is true that IDAX pro is a shit exchange, and there is no doubt there. Most of their volumes are fake! Recently Migranet token got listed there and the price has been tanked because of the IDAX pro bot trading! Now, Migranet team also claiming that IDAX pro exchange is a scam. Let's wait to see what IDAX pro team reply us.

Those project manager's knowledge is like a newbie. They said Latoken is a rapidly growing exchange, I mean seriously? They just care about the CMC rank. Migranet, Xcrypt projects looked potential to me, but they went for IDAX pro-IEO launchpad, where IDAX is an unpopular shit exchange with 87% fake volume!

More to come but the next case is not yet discovered. But a statement from SEC about idax can be a very strong reason to call that as scam exchange site.

I think IDAX pro actually uses trading bots so the transaction looks big. Very surprising this happened because in the midst of the euphoria of the IEO after many ICO scams last year. I have always believed and thought Idax was a great choice for IEOs. However when I received news from the project I was participating in - CMA, they forced Idax scam 5,000,000 USD.
I feel vague, and do not know what is the truth.
However, the Migranet project also launches the IEO in Idax and has some accusations about Idax when the MIG is listed but the MIG's price is dropped.

well, I am not surprised,  I know many of this IEO will be based on stimulation, some projects will basically agree to that and make people believe that they had a successful sales. Probably some projects still believe in transparency and now IDAX is on fire.

I think there is a mistake or problem here, IDAX floor still works normally and it will soon list XCT, it will also be IEO in IDAX, if it is scam then you will know the truth soon.

You pointed out the exact problem which is a third rate exchanges hosting an IEO which definitely lose the purpose of IEO itself, I don't know why but people seems to like to put their money on the edge of fishy exchanges aren't they? I don't trade on IDAX, but I do learn some IEOs on it. These IEO are very suspicious, they sell out too quickly, but the project is not really potential.

Well am actually not surprised to see this because I know pretty well that Idax is a scam exchange since the inception of its IEO. Idax exchange only stimulate IEO sales so that it can attract the attention of investors when the coin eventually get listed on exchange. They have done it with some IEO projects before now but Crypto market Ads was not cool with what they got that's why they decided to open up.

Idax is just an exchange but not one of the best in the business. Fake volume and wash trading are rampant on that exchange. This news could further bring this exchange down the bottom, i just hope that this is just a misunderstanding between Idax and it's customer.

The news about Idax scamming IEO projects is already going viral. Sometimes I just wonder where we are heading to. Although I have never used the exchange and I never had the intension of using it.

So if they had conducted a scam IEO, then they should be liable for their action and not because they happen to join a product created by coinmarketcap. Indeed, many believe that the IDAX exchange is a big exchange, of course it will make investors disappointed to open only 1 project that they are dark, but many will if this will be a bad image for IDAX.

What a pity if the accusation is true for IDAX, so that's the could be the reason why most of the coin listed to their platform was dumped its price value were the volume got decreased, When I heard of it I decided to full and sell the coins I have to their platform even the price was too cheap, because anytime the exchange could be close and the token would be freeze instantly.

Painful as It is looking at the success an exchange like IDAX has built over the years. What actually a real cognitive point of attention for me is the part alongside Cryptomarketads, some 7 other projects are coming out to accuse idax of similar related crimes.

Binance fixed its hacking problem so it did not affect the Cryptocruuency market much. But I couldn't understand why Idax needed a scam. They are inherently one of the big Exchangs and receive the trust of investors and traders. I do not want to believe but it is true! Idax is having problems.

What do you guys think about the CryptoMarketAds project? They lost their bitcoins and it looks like there is no funding to pay for listing IEO CMA on another exchange

Not just the value CryptoMarketAds thinks. But professionals are ideal for other projects that have collaborated. CryptoMarketAds sales will certainly work but not at a scam exchange like idax alleged by CryptoMarketAds. Their purpose is actually good, so there is no more fraud in crypto.

If you really check the article by crypto market Ads( CMA) then you will understand the aspect at which IDAX are being labeled as scam. IDAX is being labeled as scam because of the way it stimulates its IEO sales. IDAX accusation is on its IEO sales and not about trading on the exchange. I will advise you read the article to get the gist about the accusation.

It's pretty alarming that we still don't hear any respond despite the campaign of some people to spread their scam.
Until they'll answer this, we should stop using IDAX and stay away for awhile, there's a lot of options in the market to trade and participate in IEO, so let's find some good option and make sure the site has no scam accusation like IDAX.

After read "Cryyptomarketadd" IEO news, I don't know what to believe. This issue should slove IDEX pro or could be contracted idex pro volume. I know some people, they already withdraw money and trading in different exchange.

All I can say that people are way too desperate on joining up on IEO.They cant join on top tier exchangers so they do end up on joining these non popular exchange or simply
low in rankings without even thinking that they can possibly have issue and people are way too confident to believe that IEO can give out money
so if they do see the opportunity they do jump in without any further verifications.

Yes, It is true and it was unexpected for me that IDAX can scam now when the crypto market growing well. I heard IDAX is working for their coins, but I couldn't imagine that IDAX is a house for killing new startups project. I read that article and some others about IDAX scam, I hope they will get their punishment very soon!

I knew this when joining the telegram group of CMA and they said that they have been scammed by this exchange. In my opinion, they also have the proof about it and sadly, not only that project, but other new projects holding the IEO in IDAX Pro.
It can be one of the important ways for the developers and their team to be more careful in selecting the right exchange to list their token.

Actually people joined in IEO because they believe on the project, and since before there has been no issue with IDAX, those people who have good trading experience in the site can trust the site and will invest in IEO for a certain project, provided they trust the project.

It's only Binance that really hype about IEO, but small exchange like IDAX there's no guarantee the value will rise, but like I said, if you trust the project, you can buy and just hold it until its time will come.

They are not talking about this. You can login and sell some tokens but the problem is they are saying they have more volume than they really have. They show hundreds of dollars raised in ieo instead 1-2 eth. They are giving fake information to everyone and getting premium money for that.

More and more exchanges are scamming people, terrible behavior. They earn a lot of money on trading fees but they want more. Binance is the biggest exchange because they care about customers.

I have never used IDax but what I observe is many ieo projects that complain, and also some IEOs have been harmed because of this Launchpad problem, for example migranet have experienced very severe price declines. and also I'm not sure you are using IDax more than a year because of your bitcointalk account say the opposite

The problem is not related to service or other matters. But the problem is that many projects feel disadvantaged when doing IEO on idax. And from CMA, you can see in the article the explanation. For related services, certainly every exchange will give the best to its users.

It is hard to believe that Exchange with more than 1.5$ billion trading volume and listed on CoinMarketCap is a scam. I think we need to wait for the official comment about this occasion from IDAX.

This is not about even you or any other user on the exchange. It is about IDAX not fulfilling their end to these IEO projects and not refunding. I'm glad these start ups are speaking up and even exposing these fake volumes.

I am still confused about the pros and cons of IDAX and CryptoMarketAds. If I see CryptoMarketAds does have high ambitions to realize their project but on the other hand I am still confused with Idax because I myself have used this exchange and there are no problems whatsoever. No need to be confused, just read the article. You will find out that the issue is not the performance of the exchange in providing services to the users. It is actually them refusing to refund CMA for asking a refund when they found out about the unethical and scam activities of IDAX when it comes to the IEO like faking the volume.

According to the adjusted volume on the Coinmarketcup it is top 10 exchange with the 24 volume of $1 594 215 150.
But as to the reported proofs of the fact that this exchange had already scammed several IEO projects, I can`t believe that the ''adjusted'' volume is even close to the truth.
If this would be the matter of the criminal case this could result in one more fraud of users funds, so thanks to the author of this OP the theme becomes very actual and useful for many people nowadays.

Yes this problem has not been resolved until now, CMA has to do it again from the start of the sale and start with the new IEO, and I also don't trust IDAX's exchange if I know this until there is no clarification.

IDAX is not a small exchange, and coins listed on IDAX have very good daily volume. I still have not seen announcement from coinmarketcap.com to delist IDAX. So, at least by now the coinmarketcap.com still consider IDAX is non-scam exchange.

I think this campaign should go viral about idax and it should be a warning to other exchanges intending to do so, personally this has discouraged me from using the idax exchange and I am not sure I will take any project that intends to list there serious.

Idax became noisy this couple of weeks past, the first time I heard about the issues it was unbelievable on my part, due to I'm most often used their platform most of the time, but when I checked the rumors I heard, it was all true accusation. And you will noticed the volume itself too was totally down and its level of ranking in terms of exchange it went down. And some of the coins listed to their platform was also pull out their, sad to heard about it, but I need to withdraw all the coins I have on Idax and find other exchange to trade in.

It’s not just them but also us for selecting these. I think everyone must do their own research before doing anything. It’s too often to see people doing a lot of things but still end up nowhere, and this is simply because of not having done enough research.

to my own observation, Idax exchange is a suspicous site because they are unable to resolve my pending withdrawal issues. just like Yobit exchange. Yobit keeps activating wallets maintaince mode whenever i want to withdraw some tokens. Both exchanges to me are scams.

There are plenty of scams in the history of fiat money. But at least we've come a long way in terms of auditing and sending scammers to jail. With cryptos it's insane how many scams go by as legit projects.

There must have been a misunderstanding during idax transaction with with these ieo project owners. So far I've done some research and idax is still in operations. Their Telegram group is still very active as well.

yes and before migranet also listing on idax it's just a matter of a little tragic price because when they do ieo there the price is around more than 0.1 $ / token now look at the price of migranet when listing there is only around 0.0165 $ and maybe CMA will suffer the same fate and as I recall the price of 1 cma is 50 sat and maybe after idax listing the price will be 5 sat but let's see on the 26th of august later.
