They're still running, but there have been some scam accusations in the past that would make you think twice about using them.

Even with that aside, I wouldn't suggest using them to buy using credit cards, as they are using Simplex (third-party service) to process the payments, and that means more fees for you. Try Coinmama, Coinbase, BitPanda or CEX.io.

was surprise seeing this. changelly is not a scam. they are 100% trusted, you can go ahead and buy from them if they have bitcoins to sell but if they don't you can try from other sites as well.

In the scam accusation board or in the reputation board I have seen trusted member like The Pharmacist was pissed off because of their bad service few weeks or month ago I think.

I have used once or I think twice changelly when they were fairly new to the market and I did not have any problem at all.

Try Kucoin, I think other day I noticed they allow to buy using debit/credit card.

I don't know if you have read that they have the power to confiscated your coins if they deem it's dirty. And far as I as know they are requiring KYC now.

Or you can also read this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4619534.0.

The subject line is very misleading! When I clicked the thread the only thought came to my mind that has they become a scammer?? I am sure a lot of other people will have similar thoughts just by looking at the thread title. If possible, change the subject line to align it with your questions without creating unnecessary confusion!

There are loads of ways to buy bitcoin using credit card or bank accounts. Coinbase, Zebpay, Kucoin to name a few!

Yes, you are right even I was confused and ended up landing on this thread.

I had used changelly my order went through but I there fees is too much. There is similar exchange CoinSwitch comparatively they charge less.

As my order went through I can not mention it as scam.

I disagree that they are scammers, I work at coinswitch exchange, and changelly is one of our partner exchange with whom we have been working since long. If you have any orders stuck, or you have received less no. of coins, you should contact them.

Also with regards to buying from credit card or debit card, simplex exchange is partnered with Binance, Changellly, CoinSwitch etc. The rates they offer are little higher then buying from coinbase or any other exchange.

I dunno who that poster is but they're probably the Changelly CEO's brother in law.

What the T&Cs fail to mention is that they will keep your funds if they think you've 'failed' KYC.

There's enough about this on the Mondero subreddit.

Buying I'm sure works fine for most but I wouldn't use them to suck the smegma off my chop sock.

Yes, that was me, and the thread is here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148332.msg51255526#msg51255526).  They did end up making good in the end, however.  And prior to that incident, I had used them many times for exchanges and never had a problem with them.  I've never tried buying anything with a credit card, though.

IMO, they're not a scam exchange.  In my case, they happened to take NEO offline right after I'd sent them bitcoin to exchange for it, which I thought was an idiotic move on their part.  I haven't used them again and probably won't because of that, but OP probably won't have an issue if he decides to go with Changelly.

If anything happens, open up a scam accusation as soon as things look fishy.

You topic title is actually misleading. You are just simply asking for exchangers that do accept credit card on buying bitcoin and it has nothing to do with Changelly scam.lol
Ive been using this exchange and all transactions went smooth and fine but if you try to read up on everyones comment on here. There are lots of alternatives which is far more better than Changelly.

I don't know I've never used it, I think yes because there were many accusations against this platform before. Maybe some of these threads can be your reference material, to consider this platform, please read more here :

Shapeshift might be a good alternative even though now they require KYC because of the authorities forcing them to do so it still a reliable exchange where you can buy BTC with your credit card. If you are looking for any websites where you can buy cryptocurrencies with credit card that don't require KYC I'm afraid that there is no option for that at least a reliable one.

The only hope you have for buying BTC without KYC with a credit card is on a P2P exchange site like Paxful, and even then I doubt you'll find any options for doing so without some form of KYC, because there are people with stolen credit cards out there and the rates might be poor if you even see an option like this for that reason.

There are a few like Virwox but you'll certainly have to deal with some limits. An alternative would be to use Neteller as your credit card provider and use the C2C feature to trade with other individuals.

Or as a safer option, use your credit card to do a "credit cash withdrawal" from any ATM allowed by your issuer, then use LocalBitcoins to buy Bitcoin. 8)

Maybe you say that because you are one of their partners. But here is a lot of negative feedback on Changelly since a few years ago, it makes a lot of users worry about using the platform from your partner. If you are one of Changelly's partners, I advise "please increase trust in users" if you still want to be trusted.

Okay, now try to read some of their reviews in this thread

Hi there!

You can buy BTC with a bank card at Changelly through our card payment partner Simplex. Please note that you will be asked to provide your ID to pass the verification procedure. At the moment, Changelly with Simplex team have lowered fees for purchasing BTC, XRP, BCH, LTC, ETH and BNB to -2%. You can check exchange rates at https://payments.changelly.com.

P.S. The subject of this topic is totally inappropriate, misleading and humiliating. In case you had any complications with our service, please specify your query so we could get down to the roots of the matter.

I haven't tried that exchange before and will probably not. I did a quick search about the old scam which I have in mind when the accuser allegedly said Illegal exchanger from RUSSIA with FAKE team here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034589.20

There are some more scam accusations that I found but this thread particularly is the first I will remember when it comes to Changelly.

Why will you buy on that exchange? If you want to buy then you can buy at the top exchanges. As of now, there are many ways on how to buy bitcoin using your credit card. In fact, there are many wallets that accept visa and credit card payment as well as withdrawals. But most of the time, you can buy bitcoins using your usdt. Don`t trust in an exchange that had already a past scam accusation. However, if you want to be trapped on that exchange, the decision is till yours.

Just out of topic, would like to ask on whats on your negative feedback? Have you able to resolve it out? 2017 issue is a long time ago.
You should read the references (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=823207) for more about their negative trust. This is the information regarding my particular case (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1435275.msg25081705#msg25081705). It was never resolved besides what's explained there. What's posted there is still accurate.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1435275.msg51273676#msg51273676

are cases that you have not resolved yet, and you want someone to trust your site? good luck for the brave one who uses your site

However, if you want to be trapped on that exchange, the decision is till yours.

and then he can not come here to complain in the forum because nobody will be able to help him

I am not able to understand that if you haven’t used it then you are pointing at it with saying it as scammer, it’s not good. Although, I have no clue about this and haven’t heard much positive but still until you are not 100% sure, do not set such titles.

I have never seen such site before, and even if I see it, I am sure that I may never pay attention to it, because we have too many scam exchanges in the market too now,and we have to be careful in dealing with them, I think we should look for much more popular exchanges, and I can see that the most popular exchange that I know which is Binance, does accept credit card for the purchase of bitcoin, although I have never used the credit card function before.

I have a local exchange that I send money to, and then gives me the bitcoin equivalent of it which I transfer to the wallet that I have on Binance for further usage, but since Binance has the function, you can try it out, it may be more helpful to you than this little unknown site that may end of scamming you of the money in your credit card.
