You are wrong with this. 0.0003BTC is such as high fee, I haven't paid this kind of fee after the bull run.

You know what, I like nano but with this kind of comparison that you are degrading bitcoin and comparing it to an altcoin I'm starting to remove my interest in it.

Bitcoin has lasted 9 years, There wouldn't have been a Nano if Bitcoin never existed. The only reason why Bitcoin fees are higher now is because of Bitcoin price.

I never hold Nano coins because I have no proper information of the whole platform, and I think this is also a regular altcoin next to bitcoin and ethereum. When they said it's bettee with bitcoin, well it's their impression and commendable comments. Bitcoin holding still the one I prefer to, and I won't think any other options unless btc price stabilized at very high value.

Same in me and 100% not thinking that Nano is better than of BTC. How this Nano look sustainable in the market? Of course, it doesn't have but BTC have it.
Well, this thing has proven so many times and questioning of BTC potentiality ain't make sense anymore.
Nano will be considered as high gaining coin but not a way that it could actually compete with BTC.

This is one of the coins that miss buying when it was almost worthless, it has its good pump during the last bull run but now just like other legit coins, it also have a problem rising together with BTC. Now to the question whether it's better than BTC, yes in speed but on value and how it's treated by supporters, no coin is better than bitcoin in that angle.

DAG system is totally centralized and if you don't know about how it works and make a non sense comparison with bitcoin and it's much better for you to read more about that. The fact that nano used a non miners system to act as block verification to verify any input that will come to the network.

not.  BTC is better than Nano.  Nano spread is very low.  Nano's trading volume in the last 3 months is also very stable.  but today.  BTC has created a high chart.  and BTC goes from $ 4800 to $ 11,000 in 3 months.  I don't hold the Nano.  I do not regrets.  but I'm regrets if I don't have Btcoin assets.

nano was a project that was not too serious but because the community is now nano can be one of the projects that really started from the bottom and managed to continue to grow rapidly.

Yeah from last one year nano is doing really good job. Their team members are working continuously. I following this coin from long time and I hope this coin have a bright future.

Nano is not a bad project. And there are many projects with features that are better than Bitcoin's. But none of the projects have the features that has been valued to 200B.

Nano could be a coin with potential amd good development team that doesn't make it a match to bitcoin not to talk of being better than bitcoin, i see this as an overstatement.

price of Nano doesn't look like its one of the best coin to jump right into. look how much it got during the bull run, it reaches up to $26 and yet now its down to $1. you gotta be that patient to hold them for too long since the time bears came. but its all up to you, i wouldn't mind holding if i just got it for free. but it doesn't matter if fees are that low, to me its the value that makes it worth keeping.

You have really taken time to state the good features of nano and that's wonderful. Let me ask, why was Ethereum, Litecoin etc created? Most think they can beat Bitcoin on the long run, but where are they? Bitcoin passed through challenges and today it is highly valuable, that is to say, the tougher days only strengthened Bitcoin. Let me ask again, how many year has Nano lasted? Ethereum with all its team is yet to beat Bitcoin all these years, now it's Nano.
However, it will be hard for any coin to beat Bitcoin not after paving the way for them.

Adoption is one major difference for most of the altcoins as compared to bitcoin. The popularity of usage is incomparable when it comes to bitcoin. Nano might have the best features but how many users are actively using Nano as compared to bitcoin? If you say crypto to an ordinary individual, what comes to his mind first? Bitcoin or Nano? Come to think of it...

Nano may indeed have some advantages compared to Bitcoin. But the question is "can Nano be more valuable than Bitcoin?". As we know that the value of cryptocurrency here is very important and interesting to understand. Even though BTC fees are very large and there are some other disadvantages, it is still proven that most people are more trusting and interested in having BTC. Personally, I don't hold Nano yet so far.  ;D

All you have to say is true, Nano outperforms BTC in technology, but let's look at the fact that People will be crazy about BTC and not Nano or other coins, the coins that are called will replace BTC

same bro, I always follow what is being traded in the market, most people will override the features and reliability of coins. Even if I compare, monero is better than nano, but finally what I hold is bitcoin, eth, bnb, xrp, etc. Now people are more concerned with profits, they don't care about the technology that exists in every coin.

I should have not sold all Mrai if I knew they are to evolve to something as great as their current position they are now on the 46th position in the market and with price at $1.13 cents this is a huge jump from only a pennies per mrai, but I don't like the comparison, I think Bitcoin is the superior coin because it started the revolution, maybe Nano will soon have it's own time.

LOL another delusional newbie who has read some altcoin advertisement online and now thinks he has found some "superior" and "new" technology compared to bitcoin while not knowing that majority of altcoins are exact copies of bitcoin and the things they change always lead to less security and serious flaws in them.

investment-wise, since that is what OP is interested in, NANO is a terrible investment because of its huge supply that has no control and is on the boarder of being unlimited and that gives it such a huge inflation.
not to mention that in all these years that it has existed, it doesn't even have a single real adoption case. how can it be so much better as OP claims and still be useless?

I dont think NANO is better than bitcoin, and i dont think it would happen, yes i know that NANO has a lot of improvements compared to bitcoin, but i would still stick to bitcoin,because it is easy to liquidate compared to NANO, we have our own local exchanger here in the Philippines but they dont accept NANO that is the reason why i dont buy this coin, but maybe in the long run i could, we never know.

maybe nano is good but it can beat or replace bitcoin because bitcoin is the father of all no matter what the new technologies come but bitcoin remains on the top.

So you can live with your Nano no need to to buy any more Bitcoins. :P

You are right though and I agree with you to an extent. Nano is good, no argument on that  but what makes you think it will last long term just like Bitcoin has done? There have been many projects who said they will beat Bitcoin but they are no where to be found. There are also some which offered high TPS but yet Bitcoin is still king. People believes in Bitcoin because it has stand the test of time amidst all challenges.

I can mention over ten blockchain coins that claims or atleast is faster than bitcoin in scalability and cheaper but It seems most of you fans boys don't really get it a times. Bitcoin is king, all altcoins are built on it. It's value is omniscience and no altcoin can usurp its position in the cryptocurrency market

Did anyone buy nano when it came out and it was 0.01?  How would anyone even know about new coins that just came out?


I took a look and at the highest point, it hit 37 dollars.  So let someone spent $1000 and bought 100000 nano.  By the time nano hit 1 dollar, which is 100x... that $1000 is now $1,000,000.  Then it hit 20 dollars and was around those prices for a short while.  So basically when it was 20 dollars, 100000 nano is worth over 2 million dollars.


Has there been any coins recently that ever went this high?  I mean even right now nano is over 1 dollar.  Anyone that bought it at 1 cent and never sold it... its still over 100x when it came out.  That mean 1000 dollars worth of 100000 nano is still worth 100,000 usd.  That is amazing.

Well, we are all entitle to your own opinions and assumptions. If you think Nano is better than Bitcoin, thus your view.  All cryptocurrencies including Nano were inspired by Bitcoin and its blockchain network protocol. Majority of these coins uses bitcoin algorithm as their foundation protocol to build their blockchain network on. This simply shows that, Bitcoin is the king and no other coin can take that away ..

You have done well by comparing them but let me ask, if you subject Nano to the same challenges Bitcoin passed through over the years do you think it will scale through? Bitcoin is still valuable because it has won the trust of the users in this space. Nevertheless, I love good projects, I will check out Nano later on.

It would take a lot of time if Nano want's to replace Bitcoin but the community won't allow that, none of the altcoins can compete with bitcoin at the moment as even combining all of them, bitcoin is still very dominant with 65% dominant rate and that was an increase, probably the highest this year.

It is not about people being crazy about bitcoin, if Nano really want to push their product, they need to do it and stop having this type of excuses, everyone already knows that bitcoin is the main dominance in the market and there is no point competing with bitcoin, but what of other coins that are taking the position of NANO, if NANO is as perfect as it seems to you, then by now, they should have been sitting on third place and not XRP, so bitcoin being the dominance is not an excuse for them not to at least be among the top 5 coins.

Nano is not the only coins that have this feature too or cheap, EOS is also a better technology and many more of them, rather than comparing with BTC, they should just continue to do their own great work and continue pushing it till they get what they want.

I do agree that nano has better tech and is good in many critical things that btc lacks but still as a fan of btc i will keep holding it because i know its worth and future potential. On the other hand i do not hold any nano yet but i will look if i found a good entry point i may buy some.

yes in future then I know currencies had the unique future value so that I am also trying to invest in it but the chances was not till there available for me but everyone needs to invest in nano also because it had the good future also like Bitcoin.

I don't agree with it. Nano is winning in the scalability but that's centralized blockchain when the validators are fully automated without need any help from the miners and that already replaced by the servers.
Nano doesn't seem good anymore because what we are looking for is utility usage.

comparison of nano and bitcoin I think it will be very far. now if you look at the percentage of price between bitcoin and nano it is very far. so I think this is not something that might not be suitable to be juxtaposed. and nano is not a competitor of bitcoin.

I believe in Nano I used to be one of it's worker in it's very popular faucet, but right now everything is on Bitcoin the momentum is on Bitcoin, Nano is a good coin to use and to hold as their is no fee involved and one of the coin that has potential in the future, but it will not get there, if we are not going to help Bitcoin to get in it's best place in the market.

I did not holding any nano because I know it will not live in long term unlike bitcoin. Because they have too much promos and I think this is not good in this industry. And for me bitcoin is better unlike other coin like nano or other new coin that are famous. Because all we know that bitcoin is already prove itself even that there are so many trials of ups and down it can stay alive in a decade.

Nano may have best technology and other quality you have mentioned but last week one of the world leaders refer to altcoins as "shitcoins"! It means bitcoin is the only coins that can stand for cryptocurrency both now and in the future. We have many coins that are now living in the past and nobody or few people are buying them now but bitcoin is increasing its dominant on the cryptocurrency market and that dominant keep increasing daily and I think nano is one of those coins that bitcoin is dominating. The future is there for us to look into what is happening now.

Bitcoin should serve as inspiration for them to aspire big things in crypto.

You are 10 years old in cryptocurrency and have not yet understood that there is nothing better than Bitcoin? This is the basis of all cryptocurrencies. And the whole investor vseravno that someone faster or slower. Trust is the engine that still holds this market. There will be no confidence and there will be no market.

Bitcoin is the first Cryptocurrency to ever exist and in my opinion it is basically an experiment so you don't expect it to have all the good features  considering how far blockchain technology has come.. but saying that Nano is better than bitcoin is like saying that a 2019 model Toyota is better than a 1995 Toyota, you are basically stating the obvious... But the fact remains that bitcoin is the first and is the most recognised even though there are better blockchains out there and most are even better than Nano.

That's really a good analysis on Nano, but however I can't believe there is any coin better than Bitcoin not even the number 2 which is ETH. Bitcoin has lasted years thereby growing from strength to strength while being valuable with each passing day or year. This is laughable, ethereum is the founder of smart contracts and so many other cool things like tokens within a blockchain, but you don't see Vitalik Buterin going around blowing trumpets about it, Bitcoin is quite old but it is the first and would remain the best in the eyes of most.

Even there are more altcoins or tokens that have much faster transaction speed, and more powerful capacity to solve and confirm transactions, bitcoin is a unique one. the argument is pretty vague. There would be no Nano is if there was no Bitcoin. It is the king of crypto. Transaction fee is higher because its price is very high. Nano does have a higher speed as compared to Bitcoin, but in value, investors trust Bitcoin more than any other coin, so I am happy with BTC.

Nano project is not the only coin that has better tech than bitcoin,we have many good altcoins that are better than bitcoin tech but old is gold,bitcoin is just more favoured by investors and community than any altcoins so dont compare nano with bitcoin,nano cant withstand what bitcoin went through,i dont invest in nano but i have better altcoins in my portfolio thats better than nano,crypto space is big world full of good and bad altcoins

Comparing bitcoin to nano is not it all the way as the two are two different coin , bitcoin has the first of it kind is still very much concern for mistake which the new ones are looking into to build their own chain , so due to this I will say bitcoin is still the best for maintaining that fee .

Because, every altcoin has newer technology, but these technologies are not tested enough. They're not safe enough. So there are more problems that possible profit.

I agree that Nano is a great crypto currency and it is also much faster and cheaper than BTC, but it is not better. Only technically, when you look at TPS than yes, but you need to see the whole picture and BTC power over all other cryptos.

Nano is good but nowhere compared to bitcoin, bitcoin has passed through challenges, passed through tough government policies, overcame financial institutions' criticism and still stands tall, as it stands today, every other cryptocurrencies are standing because bitcoin stood and is still standing.

I'm also a big supporter of Nano I have seen Nano goIng from 100 sats each to $15 each in the market, Checking their stat we can see also has a huge percentage of profitability,

But when it comes to adoption and volume it's still Bitcoin, Bitcoin now has over 70% dominance over altcoins, Nano will have its time but we should all rally for Bitcoin now.

Right now I'm accumulating Banano, who knows there could be a repeat of Nano in the future, Banano is a fork of Nano, since they have the same features, there's a possibility of a repeat, it is now trading at 1 cent to 1 BANANO.

As you know Bitcoin is prime altcoin and don't think this will be old and nano will future, you will see Bitcoin will be future and all other altcoin will follow Bitcoin, as the people paying BTC fees but just some people using Nano.

In the electricity market there are no coins that have greater copper than Bitcoin, so bitcoin is still the most successful coin at the moment.

You are comparing nano with bitcoin whose dominance is nearly 68% of the whole market and nano have just .05% share and it is not comparable. It can be compared with some altcoin as no coin have shown ability to compare it with bitcoin till now.

I have a strange experience with NANO.
I came to know about RAIblocks, it was a limited coin so I thought it was a good coin to invest and bought some on it's own exchange and holded there.
The price only decreased for the 6 months I hold so I decided to sell it to limit my loss. But a few months after my selling, Raiblocks renamed itself as NANO and started to increase in price. NANO certainly is a better coin to use for transactions but their history too is not free of some shady behaviors.

People who are comparing Nano to bitcoin, they need to first of all consider the capacity of NANO first, can Nano really hold the transaction of bitcoin? What will really test Nano if they will still remain same if they get the same amount of transaction and community like bitcoin? I wish bitcoin could just pause for one day and then transfer its database for Nano to handle; you will see how bad Nano will get with their speed and even with their transaction fee.

Although I wish that satoshi can just expand the capacity of bitcoin and then have a technology that will make it to speed up because we might still get a slower speed as people come on it more to make their transaction for different purposes, but even with that, I still prefer bitcoin over other coins.

Once you use it, you just never go back.
You really start to wonder why you ever bothered with fees or confirmation times at all.

The thing is, btc is where the store of value is.
So I do have quite a bit of nano that I actually use for transactions (typically, if someone asks for btc for a service or transaction they will almost always accept nano if you just ask).
But most of my profit has been from btc.
I used to make quite a bit flipping icos, but that's just not possible anymore.
So I grow capital using btc only for now.
