I'm not the expert, all I can say is that I really believe that Bitcoin will rise to 11-12 000 by the end of this year and the next year will be even better for BTC

There is no expert in predicting the price of bitcoin it is all speculation no one can exactly predict its price even the well-known enthusiast all have a different prediction regarding this upcoming bull run but in my opinion, I guess we can analyze it with the past movement and base the prediction with that, And right now I am seeing a site that has their own prediction base on the past and the previews news bitcoin had ever taken and base on their prediction it is not 2020 but 2021 bitcoin price can make a leap higher back to $13,000 USD and more and I am talking about this link.

that's why we are discussing this in 'speculation' subforum ;)
I think bitcoin will be at least $15k and rise even more by the end of 2021
in 2020 there will be a quick jump to ~$15k due to halving day, either before or after
then price will constantly climbing up higher to reach the new ATH >$20k in 2021
 :D  ;D  :P
note: this is speculation, I can say whatever I like as I am speculating

Experts predictions?
You mean like that of John mcafee vouching for Bitcoin to be $1M by the end of 2020? or Anthony's prediction of Bitcoin reaching $100,000 by 2021?
There are tons and tons of predictions from Bitcoin 'experts'. Only few were close to it while some seems unrealistic.
Simply watch and monitor the market closely and expect the best. You never can tell your prediction might turn out to be it.
BTW, I personally predict the price of $30-$50k. Finger crossed :D

Lol even experts will end up speculating that’s why this are all speculative opinions 😂

We can freely give our speculations but nothing is concrete, for me I think Thirdspace is correct in 2020 there will be halving so the chance of growth is there
But let’s not take into account the whales that manipulates the market in their favor.

I'm not the expert, all I can say is that I really believe that Bitcoin will rise to 11-12 000 by the end of this year and the next year will be even better for BTC
Lol 11-12$k? But we had already passed $14,000 mid of second quarter do you mean we cannot hit it before end of this year?lol look at the market today we sits at $10,400 the next target is 11k again

All of us here are free to speculate and think what may happen with the price of bitcoin in the year 2020, That is why I am saying that you can never expect the exact price according to just speculation, but I think we can apply technical analysis when we study the price changes and trading activity to determine the possible price, We can not say the exact price because all we do is to speculate, But regarding the price now and the year OP wants to determine how can the price of bitcoin will be at $14,000 if it continues to forward up and $12,000 if resistance prevail.

Something I posted earlier -

Assuming we’re at approx $10,000 - $15,000 at the time of the halving it’s around 10 x price increase.

At the halving in July 2016 we were at around $600. From there to the peak of our last cycle that’s over 30 x increase.

I think $100,000 per bitcoin at the end of 2021 is definitely possible. Speak to HairyMaclairy for detailed price predictions based on TA & charts. I’m just going off what I’ve observed before. I think HM is suggesting a fair bit more than 100k per coin at the top of this bull cycle.

I am not an expert for prediction and not much experience like others. So personally I want to say bitcoin can touch in this year around $15000-18000$. And in 2020 we can see bitcoin will remain around $25000-$30000. This only my personal opinion I did not any technical or chart analysis.

Prateek_sharma, we can only try to predict price based on past events or on some things that could happen in future. If we look in the past, Bitcoin is shown some very similar patterns, and one of them is that price is usually goes up in months after halving. Based on that you can look at 2020 in similar way as 2016, and 2021 as 2017 - but this time price of Bitcoin is much higher then before, and because of that starting point for next big bull run will probably be above $10 000.

To see what will happen in 2020, we need to observe next few months, just to see in what direction the situation will develop. FB Libra raised a lot of dust in USA, and this may affect any future regulations that apply on cryptocurrency.

Prediction based on what, only on your feeling or you think something very bad will happen?

I think you don't get my point, i consider that a stable price of btc is either 2500 euro or 20.000 euro. That's like extremis but boths as capable to be sustained.

I also consider we should start trading bitcoin in a way that the price won't have such ups and down every day.

I am usually telling my friends this story: With btc, today you afford to buy a house, tomorrow a coffee and in 2 days nothing. And being so long arround, actually it's kind of true

I am positive that bitcoin will go from $10K to $20K on the first month of 2020 if facebook Libra will launch at the end of the year 2019. Bitcoin's popularity sure will be boom and a lot of non-believers are going to buy. Libra is the best piece of crypto so far in order to have more marketing strategy and be accepted by society.

You are totally wrong about Libra, this coin has no chance to be launched this year, maybe in the middle of next year, but given the attitude of the US authorities on this issue maybe everything will remain on paper only. Libra can only be stable coin pegged with any other fiat currency, highly centralized and diametrically opposite to Bitcoin, and you call it "best piece of crypto"?

I think you don't get my point, i consider that a stable price of btc is either 2500 euro or 20.000 euro. That's like extremis but boths as capable to be sustained.

I get your point, you wait to price go down so you can buy more at cheap price - but although everything is possible when it comes to Bitcoin, this is not a time for thinking like that, we are on the ascending path from April, and we will see halving in less then a year.

So €2500 at the end of next year, 6 months after halving doesn't make any sense, most of people in this period expects start of new big bull run. If you want to buy under €5000, you are few months late for that - maybe and just maybe such an opportunity will arise again after next bull run / correction.

Just simply go to coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#charts) and look at the chart or go to the Wall Observer BTC/USD (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0) for more info.
Honestly speaking no one knows what would be the price in the future since we are all just speculators by looking the nearest possible price that will going to hit the market.

I am not an expert, but I let me make my prediction...
I think that we are going to close this season in a price around 16k. It will be very difficult to reach a new all time high. We need to endure a lot of times to reach prices around 15k, let the impatient investors to exit the market and then be ready for the bull market during 2020 that would provide us the new ATH.

Honestly, it's difficult to predict about Bitcoin price in 2020, even for experts. However we have seen incredible hype and excitement in just a few short years. As to my opinion, it's quite possible that bitcoin price may hit around 20k$ again in 2020

Anyone here can only make a bet trying to predict the price, even analists not know the price, BTC is unpredictable

Of course we have a spectation that BTC will hit 20k again in this year, and the next, maybe 50k USD, but it 's a long road

If BTC starts 2020 worthing 15k or more I'll be very happy

Impatient investors are cashing out constantly. People think they aren't because they assume that we have to see multiple +30% corrections. If the demand is there, which was the case on the way up, the bulls have no problems eating through the sell orders thrown at them. The volumes were crazy high on both sides of the book.

Most conservative investors tend to sell when they reached a point at which their gains have surpassed 50%, which for them is a massive gain knowing where they come from. They did it in a time span of 6 months. That's just madness. They probably expected to sit on their coins for a year or so, lol. :D

Predictions can be right and wrong, depending on the way of thinking of each human being.
Example:

https://i.imgur.com/CPerzPj.jpg

In this life no human being can predict what will happen in the future.

You currently feel confident that Bitcoin can benefit you, do it ...!
Don't think about what prices will be in 2020, think about current prices.
The price of Bitcoin for now is good enough to invest.

Example:
Today the price of Bitcoin is $ 10344, maybe tomorrow it will drop to $ 9,000 and so on, sell and buy.

Conclusion: if bitcoin price speculation in one week there could be changes in price 3x in one week, so how much profit you can in 1 month.

Why are you thinking about things that you don't know about in the future, invest in bitcoin now while you can.

Why? do you have to tie thee bitcoin development to Facebook Libra coin that may never see the light of the day? Was Facebook coin in existence when bitcoin reached $20k in the last all-time-high? There are so many factors that have been prepared and would contribute to the growth of bitcoin value in the coming bull run. Just barely some months back, we were in $4000, and bitcoin suddenly rose from that point to an unbelievable point from that moment.

So you should understand by now that the growth of bitcoin relies on positive factor and to me, Facebook is even one such coin that will bring negativity to the bitcoin because of its selfish ambition in trying to make Libra a global currency, there will be more marketing on Libra as whole and not the general cryptocurrency as whole.

Funny how we think Libra have something to do with the price of Bitcoin and how Bitcoin popularity will boom when it launch.  Remember Libra is not pegged to Bitcoin but to the fiat currency.  This simply mean that Libra wanted to have a separate path from Bitcoin, and Libra will surely not advertise Bitcoin so I cannot see its launch will affect Bitcoin price.

As of 2020 prediction, there are lots of article and video streams about Bitcoin price predictions.  Others thinks that $100k  BTC is possible on 2020 while others are a bit conservative.  To know more you can read these articles:

What we see in the market at this moment to the time available for the year 2020 we can make some predictions based on the issues going with bitcoin, the regulations happening around, the adoption around the globe, acceptance from large scale companies and various other factors. Even after such close observation on factors relative to its growth it is impossible for an accurate price prediction. Probably this year's growth will be taken forward and we can expect an assured $30k or more marking its new ath.
I believe 2020 is going to define another high for bitcoin. Now many people are expecting bitcoin to get back to it high of 2017 but that has not happened and I believe that in some few years to come let said 3 years to come we would be wishing bitcoin should get to were it is in 2020 and I am thinking that it might touch $50,000 in 2020.

Yes it is but we don't know it yet whether it is on halving or after the halving but we are very sure that 2020 will be very bullish and we are really waiting to see for the new ATH of bitcoin. Rumor says it might break the $50,000 or so but i don't trust on those prediction if there is no basis yet.

the opportunity to have a price of $ 20k in 2020 is indeed quite large. moreover libra, and halving will happen in 2020. besides that, I think there will be a lot of very good news for the development of cryptocurrency going forward. although it's difficult, I think it's possible.
I also see the year 2020 to be a very promising and spectacular year in the history of bitcoin, and i don’t have to repeat what you have said, you are totally right that those factors would really contribute to a very big growth of bitcoin in that year.  I know that many people is trying to still figure out the relationship between bitcoin and Facebook Libra coin because they feel they are not peg to one another.

Libra coin is not going to compete with bitcoin, and Libra coin does not do what bitcoin does, so when Facebook launches its coin, it will send lots of signals about cryptocurrency to so many people out there.  Was surprised of recent to have met one of my friend that knows nothing about cryptocurrency, and he told me that Facebook is trying to develop their payment system, it was at that point that I took my time to explain it to him, and when I started, I started with the history of cryptocurrency which started from bitcoin, and believe me that he is interested in investing in bitcoin now.

There are way too many people out there with these crazy predictions like $50K, $100K, $250K and some even say $1 million. This reminds me of 2017 when everybody was buying bitcoin because they assumed it would go to 6 figures at least and look what happened.

Many of these analysts basically say that to get the retail public to start buying and the other retail public not to sell until it hits these area's and they are going to be the ones selling at either $19.9K or $49.9K or so.

Bitcoin will touch 100K sure at the end of 2019 or 2020 February  ::) ::) ::)
So you guys ready to get it?

Really?

If that is true, I am sure many of us are already have much bitcoin, and they will still buy bitcoin while the price is not too high.

We don't know how much bitcoin price can increase at the end of this year or in 2020 because we don't have any tools or another thing to know what will happen in the future. But we can prepare ourselves from now on so we can do something in the future and if there is a way to make bigger money, we will have that chance.

I dont think we are going to see that rise especially, I see the price right now as doing work and in some rough water.   Its not a negative exactly as it cannot always be sunshine and easy going as far as BTC gains go.
What I imagine happens is BTC generally has to constantly revise its price sideways to negative is how I would describe it and naturally that might involve some pullback.

The idea we will always rise is false and actually dangerous for Bitcoin long term because we want a market everyone can take part in which does involve us levelling out and mixing the distribution of BTC between buyers and sellers.   We must sort between those who hold longer term and those who just speculate for the gains and leave it as soon as price does not rise so easily.   This is a natural process in every market and its not a bad thing Bitcoin must also go through this and it will take time.

2020 is not that far away in the first months, mid year there is the halvening event and the rest of 2020 I think will again be more neutral.   I think we retain the current range seen this year and revise strengths and support by double checking pricing over the longer term.   Longer term is mostly easily represented by the 200 day average and even 200 week to some.

I predict the price of Bitcoin in 2020 will not be far from $ 10k to $ 16k, but if there are more countries in 2020 who follow the leader of China creating their own cryptocurrency, so I predict the price of Bitcoin in 2020 will be at $ 10k to $ 25k.

from what I have noticed, the media that plays a big role in the change in the price of Bitcoin, I hope that there will be no more bad news about Bitcoin.

It was kind of a joke because we are going sideways forever.
It all depends on when the next bull run hits. When it hits I believe $50k to $100k is a good expectation. However FOMO can push it to $1M because crazy people want in....

But then again you could be right if there is no bull run....

predictions for the price of bitcoin in 2020 I am very sure the price of bitcoin can rise to be very expensive. You can see from the halving event that will occur in 2020 and will make the price of bitcoin very expensive because it will be increasingly difficult to get bitcoin.

If you think that bitcoins nature is going sideways and negative that means you haven't been involved with bitcoin for too long. Bitcoin was less than 1 dollar when it started, of course it was couple cents but moved to 30 cents very quickly, we all remember the 10k bitcoin pizza deal as well, as you can see people spent like less than 50 bucks to get 10k bitcoins. Then it became bigger, happened to be around 100-250 dollars levels in 2013 or so, than it was over 1400 during 2014 and than it was over 20k during 2017 and now in 2019 it has managed to break above 4k to reach 10k, as you can see bitcoin always goes up, yes we are still not at the heights of 20k once again but that doesn't mean bitcoins nature is negative, it has huge positive potential in it.

Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??

Alright!

No need to think about how much bitcoin price will be for 2020 because we never know that. The best thing that we can do is how we can buy low and high sell so we can make a profit and we can repeat it over and over. Maybe that will not easy because we cannot predict how much price will be in the next hours so when we can see the price is down, we can buy it and wait for the price to increase again. As long as we can get the right price to buy, we don't have to think about the prediction, but the prediction can be one factor to analyze in the future.

I feel like bitcoin may actually make a good jump eventually, it has been around the same price for far too long and that means we have been waiting for a bull run.

Sometimes when we wait this long something goes wrong and the price goes low but if you ask me this time it is not gonna go down it is gonna go up. That is why I highly suggested my friends to buy bitcoin, not too much to hurt their financials but enough to make a good return when it does go up, like maybe 100-300 dollars range (that's a decent chunk in my country). Some of them agreed and bought, some of them said they will "look into it" which basically means no :D.

I don't know if it will happen in 2020 or late 2019 but I think late 2020 is a better expectation after waiting for this long it will surely make a jump.

there is no other possibility for 2020 other than a big rise at this point because after the 2017 bubble we have the bubble burst and that lasted for over a year meaning most of 2018. and then in 2019 we still haven't got any actual rises. we only had the recovery from that big bottom. and now that price is back to normal levels the market should start the rally and that may start this year or the next but we can be sure that it will have a major part in 2020 hence my prediction. we may even see the new ATH at $100k in 2020.

Many say that the BTC price pattern is always almost the same from year to year eg 1 year before halving and also after halving, but there are also those who say that this time will be different, everything will be proven later.

2020 may be just the beginning of the BTC price entering a stable phase which means it will not rise sharply and also fall sharply, after halving there will be a high rise but it is difficult to predict because it will depend on traders and speculators (whale) who always take the most role a lot to be able to increase or decrease prices.

If BTC price can surpass $20.000USD at the end of this years, my prediction 2020 is around $20.000USD - $35.000USD.

i think that is because people will buy or will sell just before the halving came  because they think its beneficial  but if there will be no upcoming events or special occasions  , the buying and selling pattern of people are always random or unpredictable  .

majority are saying that halving is good for bitcoin and prices of bitcoins will improve . its not wrong if i agree with them but i find it hard to throw my own prediction if what will be the value of bitcoin on the year  2020

Bitcoin does move a lot inside a week and that could be a reason enough to bet on the price to make a good profit and take the risk.

However, do not forget that bitcoin is actually something that should be profiting in the long run as well, there are only a few investment tools that could make you as insane profits as bitcoin, some stocks do increase like crazy time to time but it is hard to figure out which ones will do that so the easiest job would be putting it on bitcoin and just wait for it.

2020 is actually not a bad call but make sure you sell at the peak of 2020, I feel like we will see a huge spike in price during 2020 but then we will also see a decrease afterwards, maybe not as much as 2017 peak where it went up 20x then dropped 75% at the same year, but it could be easily 3x-4x increase and 50% drop afterwards.

Yes, bitcoin may surely be above that but I didn’t see it going far higher, the new all-time high that bitcoin might set after having may be $25000 because there is going to be so much sell off that time, because of some sending debts that bitcoin is yet to pay.

We had thousands of people that actually fell for fomo in the last bull run when the price of bitcoin was somewhere around $19800 and many of these people are basically waiting for one thing, they are waiting for the time that their money will reach back to that $19800 which they might never take the chance of waiting any longer before pulling it out, this may surely create panic sell for those who had bought after that and would start pulling out also, that is why I didn’t see all those prediction of $50k coming to pass any time soon.

I don't know when that famous increase will happen though, everyone has been talking about how the price will go up before the 2020 halving but we have been here for months on the same price. Will it go up early in 2020, will it go up just a month before the halving, will it go up AFTER the halving? I don't know what will happen with it.

I am starting to think that bitcoin may not even go up incredibly much in the halving period, like no moves at all type of deal. Maybe it will move 10%-20% up but I am not expecting x2-x3 like some of the other people have been expecting.

Let's be honest here, if all of us are expecting x2 in less than a year, then why don't we buy as much as we can? Why isn't there people trying to grab as much bitcoins as they can all around the world right now? If you tell people they will double their money in 10 months they will kill people for it. Yet the price stays same, which means not even us people who support bitcoin believe that x2 anymore.

Don't underestimate bitcoin. December 2017 it could going up $1000 in an hour.... If you went to bed and woke up the price could be $3000 higher.

Greed, raw greed is what will drive this pump. What we know as "the FOMO".

Some well-known people have predicted bitcoin prices long ago, like John McAfee who said that bitcoin prices will likely be above $ 100k by the end of 2020, as well as Tom Lee as co-founder of Fundstrat investment advisors, who say that bitcoin prices are at a price above $ 90k at the end of 2020. This makes me more optimistic about the issue of price speculation that will occur in 2020. If their predictions are accurate enough, mid-2020, the price of bitcoin can reach prices above $ 20k, or can pass the ATH achieved in 2017.

Kind of feeling the other way around. Yes, pessimistic.
If all of this came from guys who are used to hyping something then it is No for me.

They have been to this kind of business and there sure is a lot of reason behind this hyping bitcoin.
It could be for personal reason or a group reason. If they have something like a savings with bitcoin in large amount then it could produce more if a well known person's statement will be successful.

Indeed, fundamental analyst is something that often be used by most investors cryptocurrency. They will buy immediately when they got an information which deemed by them as the factor that bitcoin will up.

Moreover, if there is an information who comes from bitcoin itself such as halving event it will be waiting by all investor and they will make as a banchmark to buy it. Yeah, I really impatient see this event and an affect that will be given for bitcoin price.

$20k or maybe $30k. Still can be realized if halving come in 2020. Maybe demands will come and can get higher. But only that high that on my expectation for now. Maybe if bitcoin price can be higher, it will be good for who bought in cheap price. But hope a lot of people can get advantage from it. Because higher price means there are some people who buy bitcoin in that price.

What is this high possibility based on again? On pure expectations of most people? Yeah, I'd go for that.

Seriously though, this is exactly why I still want all the market to be in a super bearish mood. Negativity needs to be stronger, all the hands need to let go and leave only the strongest, most stubborn... who are also the least vocal.

And then see the fireworks when one spark set it all off again;)

I know the feeling you get that we may have accumulated more during the past bear market but I do think we are way past overdue on this reversal we recently experienced. After the end of 2017 we have waited at least 18 months for the bear market to end and it was one of the longest times in the industry where it tested out the patience and faith of the traders in their position may it be them holding at the bottom from the start of the bear market or people who have hodled Bitcoin at a loss I think both of them are rejoicing when Bitcoin went up to the 13,000$ range. What we are experiencing now as a trader is we think that we missed an opportunity to accumulate more but really most of us didn't expect a fast movement from Bitcoin happening this soon.

That’s going to happen because many believes the halving is the key for the next bull run. My prediction on 2020 is that, there will be a new ATH and there will be a new good coin that will place on top of any altcoins. 2020 will be the year for the believers and cryptocurrency will go up.

But with the Halving happening in the second quarter of 2020 I expect more than enough for the prices to grow not only bitcoin but altcoins as well
Anyway let’s just focus in trusting bitcoin and let the market dictate what will happen sooner

I agree with your nailed points but the situation is not predictable with the historical price figures on the market. The personal guess of the trader can be different and the same person can accept the counter trade on the Bitmex with high leverage if there is a nice trading setup. Who knows the next move of the market tomorrow? The answer is clear for everyone, no need to predict the price of Bitcoin in 2020.  The price predictions will become unnecessary if the new regulations become a real case in the crypto industry after the news about the crypto trading ban due to the Libra by the Germany and France.

Looking at how things are going so far, I feel like bitcoin could have a big increase soon enough, I know its not going to happen slowly anymore, I thought maybe bitcoin could increase like 1%-2% a day for a while until it reaches 20k but I can see that bitcoin is a volatile currency which increases all of a sudden and not slowly (which is what happened in 2017 as well and in 2014 too).

So from now on I will never worry about what the price is 99% of the time, I will keep my bitcoins and hold them until there is a HUGE increase in price, like 200% increase sort of thing, then I will sell and wait until it reaches less than 50% what it used to be and then maybe start buying slowly and I won't even enter that quickly because second increase will be over a year later.

No matter the level of complexities involved that they know, I don’t believe that anyone can still ever guess the price of bitcoin accurately, not in a short term and not in a long term. Bitcoin volatility is really giving lots of analyst though time to really think of getting the price right, they could only see a sign that bitcoin will have some massive growth in future, but they should not always interpret it to figure.

Those figures that they predicted, it could even go higher than that and also, the bears may make us never ever to see such amount of money as they will keep dumping their coin on every level that we attain as regards in increase in the value of bitcoin and my other cryptocurrency, but by 2020, I think I believe that there would be more adoption of bitcoin.

after reading a few articles, I think 2020 will indeed make bitcoin reach a high price. some bitcoin price analysis specialists predict prices are quite high in 2020 to come. I remember some predictions in 2016 about bitcoin, and even I don't really believe it, however, in 2017, the price of bitcoin jumped. I'm quite sorry that I didn't have a lot of bitcoin at the time.

however, at this time, I believe that the price of bitcoin in 2020 will be very high, in fact, I am so optimistic that we will never see prices below $ 10,000 in that year. Well, this is just speculation, but I'm really optimistic about bitcoin. maybe you can read this article to upgrade your optimistic feeling

Everyone is honestly waiting for an all time high for bitcoin in 2020 and I am not shocked, it really deserves one but maybe it could be a little later. Think about it in 2014 it went up and than in 2015 it went down and in 2016 it went up only a bit and in 2017 it made a new all time high, exactly the same thing could happen here, think about the scheduling, 1 year up, than one year down than 1 year a bit higher and one year it goes breaks all time high, its exactly what happened in 2017-2018 and now in 2019 so why wouldn't it happen in 2020 as well and make a huge increase?

I honestly hope that its a recurrent thing and if it is than we will be all getting super rich soon, all we have to wait is another year and we will see if bitcoin wil l break the record or not.

that is actually the exact thing that has been happening for 10 years, which is why people usually refer to it as cycles. price goes up slowly then faster to enter a bubble, the bubble burst and bear market lasts a while before it starts rising slowly again to repeat the same thing.

the difference between these "cycles" however is that the length and size of them can change as they are directly affected by adoption. so for example when there is little adoption during such cycle the price rise can be smaller (6x 2011, 28x 2012, 25x in 2013 cycles) but when it is bigger the rise is also bigger (133x in next cycle).

I can't really guarantee a x133 increase in next cycle, we only have to wait and see that but at the same time I can't stop but think that the increases have all been a very big one so I am not gonna argue that it won't happen neither, I am agnostic about the bull runs of bitcoin, they exist and they happen but I don't know at what level, maybe it will be 20k, maybe it will be 200k, who knows? That is why I honestly let it happen and just hold bitcoin as much as I can at all times in case it happens without me expecting it.

People who day trade tend to look down on people who just hold bitcoin but I think we are the smart ones, we buy at all prices and sell at high prices so we can make a profit. It takes years and a lot of waiting is involved but it at least happens.

I would say that I do not see the prerequisites for a further fall, but I am not an expert. Because I’m just buying a few bitcoins, because there will be a rise anyway, and I have no where to rush to resale. What do you think was the reason for the depreciation?

There could be a variety of motivations. Those who know in advance that a move is coming could be inside traders but they wouldn’t publicly share these motivations. Only the players behind the sale understand why they decided to sell off such a large amount. Likely because they had a CME position around $8400 and there is another around $7K. So this was a profitable move for them.

One of the common problem of the traders today is the price of the bitcoin because it came from the previous months the cost of the coin goes low and low that comes up. Today that the currencies go through over eight thousand dollars and that was not profitable anymore, many traders already pulled out their money to avoid loss of income, still many people are hoping the coin will rise for the coming year. According to the graph of the coin, it's in the rising part that the following year becomes profitable again, better if the bitcoin will rise over nine thousand dollars. There are a lot of factors how does the coin becomes profitable, one of the major investors in the market because if the people are trading and holding their coin, it affects the community of cryptocurrency because there's no any transaction recorded, like the rule of the price and demand that may apply to the cryptocurrency.

I think this may be due to recent reports when a million bitcoins in dollars were sold. I did not follow the news clearly, but all the trading signals show that it is better not to postpone the purchase for a long time, because everything will return to its previous positions in the near future. Especially before the start of winter, large bids will start.

Bitcoin does what he wants, and people guess the reasons later. There is little rhyme and much less reason for this material. People were willing or forced to sell at lower prices. There were not enough buyers at prices between them, each of them had its own reasons. If you want to stay more confident in the market, then I recommend trading strategies and signals on the taklimakan platform. Professionals with different experiences share their views on the situation with trends and it is easier to find like-minded people there to discuss the next rates.

My personal opinion is that people were disappointing with the launch of Bakkt and from the low volume that the exchange had. People expected something big and we all know how this goes when they are not met. And as we saw yesterday quite a lot of selling happened through the other exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken etc… I think that this is temporarily and in the coming months we should get back on track.

Peter Brandt said it would fall to $5500, but in my opinion this could be true, if look at history. prices usually going down before halving and next year after halving will rise again.

Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??
My only prediction in the price of bitcoin is it will have a chance to stay in the price of 10,000$ to 15,000$ or it will surpass its all-time high price which is around 20,000$. Do you think my prediction might have a chance to happen? I know day by day we have seen different predictions about the price of bitcoin and the price of other cryptocurrencies but still, we are not sure about it. But, the only thing that people discuss what are things that can pump the price of bitcoin and most of the answer is its halving that will happen in the next year 2020. I'm not surprised why people talk about it because they expect that history will repeat again.

I will not see the history of bitcoin, if Peter Brandt said it would fall to $5,000 it is not possible in my opinion and this is the lowest point facing halving in a few months so a drastic decline will not occur,
In fact, this will be a little higher ahead of the new year, the price of bitcoin may be $8,000.

what is impossible? anything can happen. bitcoin can sometimes go up and down in a flash. but of course, it is only a prediction that no one knows, so that the prediction could be missed. sometimes the movement of bitcoin is not only based on TA, but fundamentals, supply and demand and other factors can influence. Of course most will expect a fall to get a lower price before it finally goes higher.

No one guaranteed as an expert to predict accurately, it just pure of speculation based on TAs and the trend in the market, that's why everyone should do the research to collect more information and guess the price. I expect bitcoin to reach $20K at the best and only reach at least $15K in 2020. Too many people have predicted bitcoin will go bullish in 2020 and the trend is going the same way.

As long you know how to take risks about the market we can invest from your own analysis. Indeed there’s no certain where the price is headed so invest on what we can afford.

I quite with you on the unique movement of bitcoin its volatility in the leagues of cryptocurrencies is second to none bitcoin can actually pump with an increment of $3000 within 24 hours, historically this had happen on many occasions this is usually triggered by a fundamentals which always have an instant impact on it price, as for the prediction of the price of bitcoin come 2020 I am predicting the price to well above $15,000.

my prediction, the price of bitcoin will exceed the price of $ 10k in 2020. meaning, if we have 1 bitcoin at this time, at least we will get a profit of around $ 3k for 1 bitcoin. Well, imagine if we have a lot, what's more, this is still a minimum prediction. many people predict the price will be above $ 15k or even reach a new ATH. however, I want to see the price of bitcoin pass through the safe point first, so I think that exceeding the price of $ 10k is the right prediction.

That was an extremely bearish move. It has only happened like 3 times in Bitcoin's history that the price went up so much in such a short period of time, and none of these moves were sustainable.

If the price pumps $3k and then dumps below the point it had that $3k pump, you know that it was used as a welcome opportunity to sell high while traders expected that it would tank deeper. Nothing good can be said about it.

Since bitcoin's price was down to almost $7000 it is now hard to predict on what price will bitcoin turn into in the year of 2020 because bitcoin is really volatile that no one can really predict when will it go up and down. So i think bitcoin could reach it's price again up to $9000 in the year 2020 if bitcoin halving occur.

Bitcoin is a volatile cryptocurrency so it is impossible to predict the larger growing. But 9k USD is not a strong range in Bitcoin, so I expect it will cross the 15k USD on next halving. We know once it will start halving, price will backward on slowly and sudden growing also push the continuous hype on Bitcoin. I hope next year unexpected pump will happen on Cryptocurrency.

Obviously a future price forecast is always just an opinion. Speaking by my own actions, I'm pretty much all in already and waiting for the coming upward swings. But still I assume a rather quiet and boring year 2020, with some crazy action going on in 2021.

Don’t you think that price right now is like 2016 and it’s not very high yet but still increasing so I can see something really profitable at the end of 2020 and till beginning of 2021. Now it’s all about demand which is increasing with passage of time as new investments is giving bitcoin a slow but continuous pump, just keep holding and waiting to see what happens in end of 2020 price could reach above $20k but its my predictions.

Do you think that it is from speculators that you can get a true forecast that you can listen to?  It seems to me that these people manipulate the cryptocurrency market for their own benefit and can disseminate information in any way in order to mislead other cryptocurrency users.  Nevertheless, today the situation on the cryptocurrency market is such that it is very difficult for those who do not have a certain experience to predict something.  In any case, I will visually observe the market and monitor everything that will happen at the end of the year and at the beginning of the next 2020 to catch the moment for a profitable investment.

I think the first question that comes to my mind is who is an expert at predicting what the price is going to do next? We can give prediction about what we believe bitcoin will do during the next year but no one can accurately predict that, I remember that at the end of 2017 people made the same question and most of those that called themselves experts predicted that the price of bitcoin will keep growing up and the market proved them wrong in a spectacular way.

I can't predict the right price for 2020, but I only say it is above $ 10k. It could even be possible to still play in the tens of thousands of dollars, I don't think the price will be much higher around millions of dollars like John McAfee predicted and he overestimated the analysis, but if he's right it's just a coincidence, but let's see, I'm not sure that's over $ 100K unless 2021 can be more than that  8)

Much better not to expect to much and be able to get a good profits. Those who invested earlier this year and manage to sell below $12k really
get a very huge benefits, imagine when you buy at $3k level and manage to sell it 4x then wait again for good position to accumulate. Make
some reviews and analyze the market before investing so you'll be able to anticipate.

There is no expert in predicting the price of bitcoin it is all speculation no one can exactly predict its price even the well-known enthusiast all have a different prediction regarding this upcoming bull run but in my opinion, I guess we can analyze it with the past movement and base the prediction with that, And right now I am seeing a site that has their own prediction base on the past and the previews news bitcoin had ever taken and base on their prediction it is not 2020 but 2021 bitcoin price can make a leap higher back to $13,000 USD and more and I am talking about this link.

https://longforecast.com/bitcoin-price-predictions-2017-2018-2019-btc-to-usd

yes I agree with you no one is an expert in predicting bitcoin. bitcoin has high volatility which is not easy to predict. we can only analyze bitcoin movements in the previous year and then speculate.
I speculate maybe bitcoin will pump in 2020 but I don't think it will reach $ 20,000. My highest price for bitcoin in 2020 is $ 15,000. if we currently buy bitcoin at a price of $ 7,000 then if in 2020 it can go up to $ 15,000 it's already profitable.

Price movement was seriously crazy this year and that is what worries me for the upcoming year, going up is not the problem, I don't doubt it will go up like hell.

The problem we are facing is, we started the year in 2019 at $3400 dollars, nobody remembers that, we moved all the way to $14k which is about 4x of the price and then lost 50% value and became 7 thousand dollars right now which is still 2x of what we started. That type of movement is insanely weird, we are 2x away from the start of the year but 50% of the peak of the year, if the same goes for 2020 as well we may reach to over 20 thousand dollars and end up at around 14-15 thousand dollars and count ourselves lucky as well, if something even more major happens in changes that could cripple the market like 2018 which is what scares me.

There's no such thing as expertise in making prediction in this kind of market for due to the fact that the crypto market was unpredictable. But anyway, perhaps Bitcoin could exceed more than $10,000 due to halving will happen this next year. I am not expecting that it will reach $20,000 just like before. However, I am pretty sure that there will be changes after that day so better if we accumulate now so we could get a high return.

You have to be a brave friend. if you are in the world of cryptocurrency, you need to prepare it. whether it's for the highest or lowest price, that can happen. if you take your hands off this, then you might be too late to realize that there is a dump or pump. I myself think that the price of bitcoin can be higher than the price of $ 15k, but I also prepare myself if the price of bitcoin if it does not pump.

Dr. Osh I believe in much higher price then $15k one day, and that day can come next year, or the year after. I know in what I
believe and I have patience to wait for that. We are in bearish times for 2 years, many of us get used to constant pumps and dumps
with almost all coins in crypto-market, I know I did.
I don't have some special predictions about the prices in the next year. Generally I am optimistic about the future of crypto-currencies,
not just in the next year, also in the years after. Crypto-market is growing constantly, and I hope that the next year will be all about
rising awareness about crypto-currencies and that crypto-market will be more popular for all the people who still didn't join.

My guess is it will stay somewhere around 10k (it’s just my own calculation, do your own calculations if you are planning to buy).
Truth is we have seen so many predictions about bitcoin, all going false. Although I have made my own predictions, I don’t think there will be any correct prediction. Just hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

In 2019 Bitcoin once went up to more than $ 13k. And now the price of bitcoin is still stable at $ 7000. So I have faith that in 2020 the price of bitcoin will increase rapidly and it will probably surpass ATH 2017. The bear market has existed for 2 years and it is about time for the cows to wake up, I am waiting for the market. raise prices in 2020 and accumulate as many altcoins as possible from now

While I personally prefer to speculate with the price of bitcoin and what it will do because that way I'm not so surprised when it moves I can respect that there are some other people out there that prefer to not do it, just make sure that you watch the market once in a while because you do not want to miss one of these big movements that bitcoin does from time to time, because if you take advantage of only one of those movements that can be enough to have a profitable year.

Bitcoin retracted pretty well from the support of 6700 which is the biggest one and will be tough to break. But Bitcoin hasn't been able to break the resistance of 7500 yet. Therefore, 9200 is still not in the picture. The overall market scenario is that of bearish nature. But you can always swing trade in cryptos. If btc breaks the resistance of 7500, then bulls can easily take the price to 9200+. Otherwise it will keep on hovering between 6700-7400 till the year ends.

Without a doubt this is something really important, people most of the time make very positive predictions about the price of bitcoin and while there is nothing wrong about this they are always unprepared to face the reality that the price of bitcoin can also go down very rapidly, so whenever we believe it is going to happen next we must be prepared to take into account the possibility the price does the opposite of our prediction and we have a stop loss ready if the movement is big enough.

Exactly.
Price Predictions can bring in so much hope that will cause one to be frustrated when it's isn't coming through but dumping.
It's better to be positive and not to expect too much. 2019 was a great year even though many people won't want to agree. Let's hope for a better year ahead.

Most of those exaggerated predictions come from the fact that most people are not really holding a lot of bitcoin and yet they want to get rich with it, so they need the price of bitcoin to grow a lot to realize their dreams, when what they should do is to work as much as they can and save all their money and then invest it in bitcoin, that away the growth you need for bitcoin to change your life will get smaller and it will be more probable that your dream comes true.

I expect bitcoin price to touch 10 to 15k USD in the marketplace when it cross the halving time. We never need to worry about the fluctuation and dump value whatever we are seeing now.
because all this value or not a constant one obviously the value will change and market will come positive to your side.

The price could be much higher by the summer and this could happen before or after the halving. We might expect a big amount of volume and could plummet right after the month of halving since the miner would affect really big halve of reward.

And i am expecting the price to sky high again and the predictions of known people might happen, we just need to brace ourselves.

I believe we are going to definitely see an upward movement in the price of bitcoin after the halving, that is not up to question, what we do not know is what it is going to happen during the months that lead to that event, many believe that the upward movement will begin even before it takes place, but in my opinion most likely that is not going to happen and there is the possibility that the price will go down during the next months but do not get discouraged by this if it happens.

$ 10000 has been reached in 2020, and currently back to $ 7,000,
maybe by the end of the year Bitcoin can reach the highest price for this year, my prediction is at $ 12000  ;D
