will you invest more in altcoins or prefer Bitcoin??? i think altcoins need more investors like Bitcoin?

I would choose an altcoin with better technology. Bitcoin has been pumped to its max value by some altcoins holders as its dominance is at 70 percent and that is not a normal growth. Don't forget that they are just "softwares" and that they do the same thing. But one is just more expensive because of speculators and the hope to get rich faster. The new softwares have more functionalities and are cheaper. Transactions in Bitcoin are a lot more expensive and Bitcoin is a lot more slow. But because it is the first one, it is currently the more expensive. But currently, cryptos are used mostly for speculation. I don't think altcoins can die as they have better tech and that would mean that cryptos are just for speculators if they die. As it is currently altcoins who are improving the technology.

Well on my own opinion i prefer to invest with bitcoin which is slowly but surely you can obtain profits. Unlike altcoin which is very promising but afterwards you can get nothing because of some reason and etc. Its not trustworthy.   So on be smart on this kind of business if you want to invest and to earn more profits.

if i only have enough i would want to buy 1 bitcoin but i guess going for undervalued altcoins is much more profitable when price takes flight.

I do prefer to choose altcoin for sure, there are many altcoin that develops by new technology in use case. Of course, it makes people trust them as an alternative method to pay their bill, buying good and services and etc. We can spread our fund in many altcoin or token to invest in with more faster growing than we just wait for bitcoin price to grow up.

I think everybody should invest BTC because it is very stable. BTC is like a king and no altcoins can scramble for a position.

No doubt Bitcoin will have a big portion of my investment over Altcoin, Not just because of the price right now but because it stays strong amidst all the negative things it encounters and it got a strong foundation that it will continue going up in the more years to come And if you would look on its past movement we can see how far bitcoin has to lead us to this kind of price right now, And Bitcoin is the father of all crypto and the ones backing Altcoins up,

So I would definitely invest my 80% on bitcoin and the remaining 20% to Altcoins, Most in the community would surely not make a full Altcoin investment to bitcoin will be their priority.

With the current market. I will choose to invest in Bitcoin, altcoin is currently very dangerous and it may collapse at any time. I am hoping that BTC will go up 20k in the next few months and until then, we can buy altcoin at a much cheaper price now.

70% of my investment in crypto is Bitcoin and 30% in altcoins but only Top10 altcoins on coinmarketcap. Bitcoin, BCH, ETH and BNB is my priority for this years.

Invest more in altcoin. Because capital is only enough to invest in altcoin. The desire to invest in Bitcoin is very high, because the chance for Bitcoin prices to increase one day.

Most probably bitcoin will be my option.Because bitcoin is the standardized cryptocurrency. It had lot of investors and traders. As for Bitcoin trading, I can say one thing that this coin has lost its trading position over the past 2 years. Many trading pairs are now trading for Stable Coins.

I prefer to split my assets into several parts and invest my money in different assets. partially I invest in bitcoins and partially in altcoins

I also thought that altcoins have more potential. This may be true, but altcoins put investors at greater risk than BTC. Now I understand that I need to have at least 2/3 of the funds in BTC. Unfortunately, I have run out of free money on altcoins ;D, so I have no way to buy Bitcoin.

I prefer bitcoin obviously. If investing wise, bitcoin will be the best choice of all time. You don't have to think more on how to acquire more altcoins if you're already acquiring more bitcoin and thinking of long term with it.
And when you have spare money, it's the best time for you to look for some other things that you can invest your money just like in altcoins. But because of the huge number of altcoins, it's not advisable to invest to unpopular alts.

To be frank I would go for both but in a 20/80 ratio in favor of bitcoin
Bitcoin trading involves strategic skills and positioning; while altcoins involve steady research functions and skill too

I will choose bitcoin for now ... because I don't have the courage to invest in altcoin in the near future ... I see so many altcoins that are not growing in various markets ... and this is a very worrying condition if we want to choose altcoin for us investation....

Presently, I will invest more in Bitcoin because its current dominance shows some positive signs of uptrend, maybe breakout soon.  I still have some altcoins on my portfolio but they take 40% in total, while BTC takes 60%. I really wish alt season comes soon, so that altcoin holders can smile again.

I think in a perfect world we need both. They each hold their own different use cases. I think making a investment into Bitcoin is always great but there will be altcoins in the long run as well.

Now bitcoin is better than all the coins , as altcoins are in a bearish trend , and now bitcoin is preparing for a new bull jump , I think $ 20,000 is not far off.

As of now, Bitcoin is still dominant. Most altcoin bleeds because of the way Bitcoin moves. Since altcoins are down, it would be wise to pick a top cryptocurrency and invest in it. I guess it really depends on the altcoin that we're going for, Bitcoin is really hard to beat and it will remain as King, if not forever. I think you really need to diversify now. Some altcoin projects gives huge return when you pick the right one.
Some may have been a scam but that doesnt mean all will be like that.

One example will be Ethereum. It may be in slow phase by now but there is this possibility that it may rise again with the right market coming in.

I think we can combine our investments in bitcoin and altcoin. The biggest portion is still bitcoin because bitcoin is the main currency in the cryptocurrency market. With a portion of 60% for bitcoin and 40% for altcoin which is in the top 50, I think this is a pretty good choice

Altcoins are good for cumulating more Bitcoins. I mean if you are trading, you can easily grow your Bitcoin portfolio.
Buy altcoin before pump in a pair ALT/BTC. After a pump sell it, you will have more Bitcoins. If altcoin lose something, never mind, still you have an altcoin.  ;)

You can go with bitcoin and some altcoins. Because don't you have to invest your all money in one coin. There are so many coins in the coinmarketcap. You can focus on top coins in the coinmarketcap. You can decide to trade or hodl bitcoin and altcoins.

I will choose bitcoin and altcoin right now because I see the altcoin have a good time to buy at a lower price, and we will make a profit after bitcoin reach the highest price. for the moment I have both of those choices. Well, even though I planned to be more dominant to bitcoin, I chose to use both. I prefer in bitcoin, when the first time I intended to invest in cryptocurrencies I only choose bitcoin as main place to store my money and thus far the result was good. I remember when I bought bitcoin at the price was $9000 2017 ago and I sold it when the price touched $18000 and lately I've got profit when bitcoin price fallen to $3500 and I tried to bought it an I sold it when the price touched $11000. So, most majority bitcoin has gave me a huge profit but I still not get a huge profit on altcoin even my money was burn a half when I tried to invest on BTT but I still hold it because I have confident the price of BTT will up again later.

I really wish that more investors will look the way of altcoins rather than bitcoin. Bitcoin has gained a lot of weight in the space and I see this affecting the altcoins. owning bitcoin was my dream when I decided to join the digital world. the current price of bitcoin is quite cheap and I can buy it, but I also invest in some altcoins that I think are good. I know that having lots of altcoin also doesn't guarantee much profit, because of the different price developments and different concepts. therefore I prefer to invest in bitcoin rather than altcoin.

The price of bit coins is going up. So is the price of alternate coins falling. Current market is difficult to understand. I think so. Investors invest in Altar coins. The price will increase in the market. New growth will not increase.

I'll advise investors to take a look at alternative coins more than bitcoin because bitcoin has already gained its ground and more popular if not all around the world, almost a greater percentage. Bitcoin also has an impact or influence on alternative coins so there's hope when you start investing in altcoins.

Now it is best to invest in tokens of large exchanges. They have prospects because of the IEO on these exchanges. With each successful project on the exchange, its popularity will grow, which will affect the price of its tokens.

i will definitely put my 30% funds on BITCOIN and 20% for ETHEREUM as they are under value now.
While the other half will go to alternative coins which has less value though have a good dev team and future development.

Pro bitcoins should know that if they continue to invest only on bitcoin, the crypto market is going to die. Can't you see that in 2017, altcoins dominance was in equality with bitcoin? Having only investment on bitcoin means signign the death of bitcoin and altcoins. Don't dream, bitcoin won't resist too as it is the altcoins who can attract new investors. Because people were interested about the blockchain development. Altcoins are experiencing very slow growth. This may differ from Bitcoin which often undergoes very high pumps. It's better to focus on Bitcoin as this coin can still keep pumping.

However, it all depends on everyone's private because it has a different view of Altcoin with Bitcoin.

I would even say almost all altcoins are not likely to give profits, what more to mind about benefits!

Even the alts I like a lot, let us say Monero, Litecoin, for example, these give benefits of either private transactions or fast/cheap ones and are getting bigger in adoption day by day yet their price does not reflect this.

I think altcoins developers that really need to get more serious about their projects because they are the ones that would attract investors, there are ever ready investors that are willing to put their money in a reliable altcoins that they have heard of, and if those developers does not make their presence know, how would they get the investor’s money.

bitcoin is already very popular, and does not need much awareness again as much as these altcoins do, because before you can introduce anyone to altcoins investment, you must definitely tell the newbie the history of altcoins which bitcoin will always be made reference to, so altcoins really need lots of advertisement for investor to continue investing in their market, and they need to stop producing bad projects.

I love Bitcoin but I haven't o admit that I am also a huge fan of Altcoins for many reasons and one of them is the transaction fees, a transaction in the EOS blockchain costs less than $0.01 in most cases but the same cannot be said for bitcoin and additionally you just can't compare the speed of transactions, while I love bitcoin for being the first, I love alts for the wonderful improvements.

honestly I really like altcoin but if I have the opportunity to invest then I will choose to invest more into bitcoin because I have seen when the price of bitcoin skyrocketed and because now the price is down too because bitcoin still has a chance to win that price again then in the end I could not ignore the opportunity, although it was uncertain but I still wanted to try it

Bitcoin to me is less risky to invest because of its popularity and there's a huge possibility that it will be relevant in the future, but some altcoin may loose their relevance and others may be abandoned by the team and developers which could spell doom for the holders of the token.

I would definitely invest more in bitcoin than in altcoins. The price movement of altcoins is not encouraging at the moment, though notwithstanding things will come back to place. I do agree that altcoins need more investors but the fear of the unknown is what draws most back.

That is question will be all time question. Bitcoin is good for those who ready to wait and altcoins is better for those who wandt fast money and do not like to wait. But often altcoins can play a bad joke with investors.

Hmm, for me oo I think Bitcoin is better of at the moment, altcoins will rekt someone if time is not taken. So one need to becareful and do proper investigation before investigating any project.

If you will trade day to day, then altcoins is the best option. But if you play in safe and long time duration, then bitcoin is the best.

I much prefer into bitcoin.Bitcoin is hugely successful in the whole cryptocurrency and it has grown  to become the most prominent because of its widespread used and acceptance that is why most investors are likely to invest in but it doesn't mean that altcoins are worthless we should diversify our  investment portfolio in bitcoin and altcoins.

I don’t think that we should have a choice. Because it is a market and it is developing. I do not want to choose only Bitcoin because it is dominating. There are many great projects that have caught my attention. In general, I bow more to altcoins but somehow I keep part of the money in bitcoin.

I prefer the bitcoin. given the dominance of bitcoin is still high. of course, this is a good thing if you invest in bitcoin now. I do not want to risk. If the dominant bitcoin is higher, I choose bitcoin. But if bitcoin dominance is low, I choose altcoin.

The thing that I don’t understand about altcoins is that if they all have a very great idea in their whitepaper, what stops them form fully working according to the working product that was proposed on their whitepaper, do I call it laziness or lack of will to just do those things because if you really take a look at some product’s whitepaper, you will see that most of the product that they propose in their whitepaper is really of good quality but I wonder why we end up seeing some failed projects.

People want to really diversify, but they are not being encouraged by developers of those projects because they are not really making their products that seen and useful like the way bitcoin is, it was not easy when satoshi started also, but he kept on pushing until bitcoin scaled through.

Yes bitcoin is one of the less risky coins to invest in cryptocurrency, because its popularity from the past until now is still shining and will be relevant in the future, there are some altcoins that can follow the bitcoin trend but I myself will also choose bitcoin for investment because of the small risk

What stops them is the user base! Look at Bitcoin dominance in the cryptomarket, most people still use BTC, for trading, gambling, buying and selling things. Other projects work on that, they are trying to grow their user bases but it`s going slow. Generally, the entire crypto community is not so big, can anyone say how many people use cryptocurrencies at this moment? Maximum 5% of the global population? What you think it will happen when that comes to 10%, and later to 20%? Do you think there will be Bitcoins for all? Of course not, there will be a need for other coins too.
My choice is clear, have some Bitcoins, but have some altcoins too. Some of them are really good and some of them have a bright future.

in my opinion if you are going to invest now it's better to choose more in bitcoin, investing in altcoin now has a higher risk of loss, it's better to find safe by investing your capital 70% in bitcoin and 30% in altcoin, if you want invest all your capital in altcoin then choose potential altcoins that are included in the top 10 CMC

What you are saying is clearly a fact, that altcoin is currently in a dilemma and cannot move to escape the difficulties that continue to occur. although many altcoins have started to develop, but they are not comparable to those who do not do transactions anymore. it still remains that bitcoin is still the most reliable investment, although it may be quite a lot of capital compared to investing in altcoin.

I took over between altcoin and btc because I was sure that if I had a lot of investments in altcoin that had great potential it could give me an advantage when the market had stabilized. What's more, I see that the price of BTC is slowly going up and we need to pay attention to that so we don't lose the moment to sell.

It is very good that I do not have to choose, and can invest in both. If I have no choice, I would pick Bitcoin without any doubt. It is a market "maker", the leader of the cryptocurrencies. All cryptos depend on its ups and downs. Therefore, they grow/fall together with it.

Nevertheless, I think that Ethereum can be chosen also - it will stay the leader of altcoins forever.

As profitable as altcoin could be with just some few money, I would choose altcoin, reason being that bitcoin has gotten more acceptance unlike altcoin and so there will definitely be demand for bitcoin which will increase it's value.

I would always choose bitcoin because if altcoins are to succeed bitcoin has to succeed first. It's a simple rule. There's no altcoin market without bitcoin.

Bitcoin is it for me. It has the highest market capitalization has highest acceptability though nothing magical should be expected as to price but surely bitcoin will always do well in the long run

Now or in the future, bitcoin is the right choice to invest compared to altcoin which has a different potential level, the dominance of bitcoin is quite high so that it can generate profits for even short-term investments

They are all good , but altcoins disappoints more than Bitcoin. Unless you will choose to be investing your money in the top altcoins in the market cause the ones that are not top rated usually end up as shit coins. Just like in 2017, I never invested in any altcoins, all of my money was invested in Bitcoin . Right from time I have been investing only in Bitcoin , it’s just recently that I started considering a few altcoins , and the altcoins on my portfolio isn’t even that much.

I put more of my focus on Bitcoin cause that’s what really works for you. I can’t be investing in altcoins because of the reason they need more money☹️ nah.. no way! I only invest my money where I’m going to make profit at the end. I didn’t come here to play games, I came here to make money and nothing else.

I have other business that I do and they need more finding , so the money I get from this investment is what I use to fund those. Another thing you will have to know about Bitcoin is that it requires patience and the risk you will be taking in when it comes to losing your money is bigger than what might happen if you’re investing in altcoins.

Anyways, I think investing in bitcoin is the safest way, in last 4 months, it rasie 300%, not much altcoin can rise like that and not fall too much after hype. And still, bitcoin is the most importance coin in this market, it's the last thing other alts want to become.

For long-term holding better bitcoin of course. Altcoins need to spend more time and you should carefully monitor the crypto market.

The high dominance percentage doesn't let the altcoins to breathe, the scale of the top cryptocurrencies worth to check before deciding to invest in any altcoins. Compared to the altcoins, Bitcoin shorts hesitate to continue to click on the ask side of the order book due to the lack of liquidity for the big orders. Stop hunting is the commonly known trap for the crypto market traders.

If I have enough money to do investment I would prefer to invest Altcoin and Bitcoin because no doubt both of it will give us profits as long as you do large investment.

Well, altcoin is such a general label these days.
Techinically, it means anything besides bitcoin, so that's like thousands of different coins lol.

But if you look at the trend this year, you will see that btc has outperformed everything else by an insanely large margin.
Look at the past trading history of btc.
It always benefits the most, especially in bull runs.
Sure, temporarily there might be something that outperforms it.
But you have to realize that in order to cash out, you have to go through btc.
And it has always gone above and beyond.

For now, I am more focused on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still stable at $10.346. And the most likely price in this year can still go up again. Altcoins slow down slightly in response to the rapid growth of Bitcoin. So Bitcoin is the best coin option to trade.

Bitcoin will always be the crypto king IMO. Have 1 account for hodling and 1 account for trading. Hodling account: Keep bags of alts & btc for the long term. Trading account: Trade alts to accumulate BTC. Then take some of that BTC and buy alts for your hodling account.

Bitcoin is a basement here, on cryptomarket. It's like gold and fiat currencies. It is usually treated as an instrument to store money for a long periods. Altcoins will barely get this status someday... They are treated like shares I think.

I prefer investing and holding both (Bitcoin and the most promising altcoins), because it's more profitable to diversify the portfolio of our crypto investments/ holdings. I put the largest amount of my budget in Bitcoin, and the remaining part in Ethereum and EOS.

If I have to choose, of course I would prefer bitcoin as my investment asset, Because, in my opinion bitcoin still has the potential to increase prices compared to altcoin on the market, but there are some altcoins that are still very well to be made as investment assets, especially altcoin which is ranked 10th big coinmarketcap at the moment

Bitcoin is already classified as digital gold and most attractive investment asset so my personal choice will remain btc while for alts they have yet to proce their point so personally o think only reputed alts deserve investing while alts with no use cases or without active team and development are not worth investing so stay away from such alts.
