I can advise to you to buy alts from top 20 CMC. Almost every other coins is shitcoins

at this moment maybe ethereum and BNB is the best alternate coins to buy mate
but, always remember to do your own research before buying my friend ;)

If you don't know which coin or token, DO NOT BUY yet. I understand your urge to recover your funds fast but you will only end up burning yourself if you keep on buying cryptocurrencies you have little or no knowledge yet. What I suggest you to do is to start reading first. Knowledge is your best strategy to recover whatever you lost.
 

What coin is this? It's not even on CMC. Whatever that is, nobody knows when it will bounce back or if it will ever bounce back. That is the high risk of buying lesser known coins.

Bitcoin is the safest one for a newbie but if its a must for you to invest in altcoins then you should buy coins on top20 CMC list but there are few good ones that havent made it to top 20 yet,to find them you will need to learn how to do better research

Buying altcoin in a situation like this is still risky. bitcoin prices are still unstable. Wait until the price of altcoin is at the lowest price. For now you can collect altcoin which has active developers like ETH, XRP, TRX, LTC and coin top in CMC. don't buy shitcoin whose development is unclear. Always see the News about the coins you will buy.

actually in the process of investing your profits or not it depends on your persistence in finding information. I think the best coins for you to invest are ETH, XRP, binance and doge. all of these altc are the best altc in price development and maintain their price stability. and if you want to make a profit don't ever feel bored to continue to monitor the price progress at the crypto where you are investing. You can monitor the price on coinmarketcap. and please determine for yourself which crypto is best for investment in your opinion. (if confused please follow my advice altc).

If  you want to hold some altcoin for long term, it's better to get altcoin from projects who have a real use case and holds a significant market capitalisation. This would guarantee that the project would stand the test of time and most likely increase in value in the near future.

My choice is eth but from how it has been performing in last few months look like it can take some more time before we see real uptrend but obviously those who will buy and accumulate from here will be the ultimate winners so it is highly like that risk will pay of big time.

If you want to invest your captial without any risk, Then you should buy some top altcoin. But mainwhile crypto market is dumping. So You should wait for perfect time to investment your capital

Altcoins were is in serious price fall compared to bitcoin so you have no good reason to keep the capital in altcoins unless you know a coin and following it since it was created then you can buy with your hope of getting the value reached some day or else you have to be with your bitcoin and go all in with bitcoin doesn't even a very bad idea or strategy for a crypto investor.

I really advice you to study the market, the coins and which projects you like more, instead of just ask here

The truth is nowadays to invest in altcoins one need to be extra careful, it has even gotten to the extent that advising one on the type of coin to buy is hard. It depends what coins you hold. If these coins are top 20 on the coinmarketcap, then there is a chance that you will be able to return your capital. If you hold little-known coins and are not sure of their success, it is better to buy something good that top 20, now is the time.

Many have said buy from top 20 in coinmarketcap and I think that is a good idea and suggestion too. This is true because owing to the nature of the market now on needs to make sure he is making the right investment so that when altseason sets in they will be in profit.

If you are trying to by altcoins I'll advice that you stick to coins listed in the top 100 on coinmarketcap.com to avoid entirely shitty coins, ETH, BAT and Doge are good options you should check out.

The price is still cheap with ETH so it can be a good investment. We need to do our own research before investing because there’s so much potential with other altcoins that we can only see thru our own analysis. I do suggest to buy any top 100 altcoins, it can be a good and safe investment and just to make sure hold more bitcoin.

There are coins that are below 100, yet they do brilliantly well. Some of the coins in top 100 still fall below. Therefore, going by the position of coins, I will recommend choosing from  either the to 10 or the top 20. At least, that will put you on a safer side.

For the safety reasons, I agree with you to choose top coins, especially the top 20 CMC. However, you must find out the most promising one.
Then, I suggest to not buy a stable coin, so avoid to buy Tether [USDT]. It has low volatility, no chance to rise significantly.
In my opinion, you are better to consider coins with high volatility or quite consistently in improving. So, I advise you to consider ETH, ADA, XEM, or EOS.

You should be very careful about buying on altcoins, this year 2019 is very much different from 2017, when the majority of the altcoins has a good share of the market, Bitcoin dominance has reached 90% according to new research and this year could be the start of so many altcoins dying out of volume.

Be sure you have bitcoin as your main coin and that Bitcoin gets a big share of your portfolio, only pick coins that have long term profitability you can do this based on the community's support of their platform, and of course, the volume and price is a big factor too, shorten your range to the top 10 coins in the market.

I think its good to be within the top 10 coins of the coinmarketcap. Because such coins are very good even for a long term investments. So we should be hoping for the best from the top coins and altcoins on the market. However we can also try a low cost altcoins but inveat with it but not too much so that its not that big enough to lose if ever not gaining profit in the log run.

It's best to choose one of the top 20 currencies in the market. Ethreum and Binance Coin are two very good coins at this time, Litecoin is also a good choice, Litecoin is smaller Bitcoin version.

it's enough to speculate about good altcoin. because in my opinion all altcoin right now is not worth holding. it's better to buy bitcoin, it's definitely safer than risking your money just for altcoin shit. ethereum, litecoin and other altcoins are now experiencing a slump. buying altcoin now is not a good thing.

You must explain in detail what altcoin you are investing in and if investment choices in the top 10 altcoins are likely to return your capital, personal analysis is needed to increase your altcoin investment so that you don't get caught up in losses.

If it's not among the top 10 coins in CoinMarketCap, I would advice you to keep your funds to yourself, but the ultimate investment you can make in Cryptocurrencies is Bitcoin investment, Bitcoin is still in it's early stage and has the potential to do much more in the future.

Invest in the top currencies in the market. Those are good currencies and they have confirmed their position. Ethereum and Binancoin seem to be good currencies to invest today.

Altcoins are not the best option at the moment, because BTC dominance is not decreasing and altcoins are just adding 5-10 percent and coming back to the starting point. Invest in BTC and within time when market changes, start investing in alts.

There's no guarantee that the market will return to its previous position it will just be your faith and the risk to take on. If I were you just invest on the strong altcoins just like ETH or any altcoins that has big volumes in the market.

Exactly, there has been absolutely no indication yet that altcoins will return to their previous states any time soon.
They've been losing a lot of ground versus Bitcoin, so I'd personally wait until you see some indication of them rising again.

You need to work doing deeper research as there's a lots of possibilities that you'll be able to catch the right project to invest your money, maybe buying those already inside top 20 from CMC can bring something great to your journey, pick those who's having some deeper dip and try to hold while you still
got the chance buying those projects with cheaper value, most important thing, invest what you can afford to let go just in case you make a wrong pick

Following bitcoin, I eternally preferred Ethereum amid Altcoins. Ethereum is the leader of the altcoin and highly profitable If you invest in the appropriate time. Ethereum may catch $500 within a year according to masters.

You can also try Monero, LTC, Bitcoin Cash because these are the altcoin which can provide you profit. And for a report of any coin, you can always visit CMC and take a decision.

Buy the ones that have use case and will be used 10 years from now and are fundamentally different from Bitcoin in such way that Bitcoin will never implement it.

Ethereum is the best altcoin and it have good potential, so consider investing in it before that its price rise again. There are also a few other good altcoins like Litecoin and EOS, but personally I believe mostly in Bitcoin and Ethereum, I feel they are the most stable and rising coins.

It is hard to find good altcoin these days.

Most of them continuously bleeding. Only exchange tokens seem ok, you can check, binance, kucoin and gate.io.

Truthfully most altcoins now don't worth it while majority not in top 100 aren't worth holding. Also, I think the best choice you have is trying those in top 20 but if you have good research skill you can check others. The reason I think those in top 20 offers good chance of profit is, the will try their best to remain in that rank bracket thereby drawing a good level of activity from users or Interested investors.
Currently ETH is my number 1 altcoin followed by BNB because they offers more chances than others.

For me I would choose Ethereum and XRP, you can also check the first 10 altcoin on coinmarketcap, I think that should be helpful or you look for projects with good use case and a team to back them up. You need to research on your own to get the satisfaction you require.

Since you already have some altcoins, I think you should hold on to those ones first f they have real use case, and then make all your new investment in bitcoin now, because most alt coins will be this down till bitcoin dominance slows down and I don’t expect the dominance of bitcoin to slow that any time soon.

Instead of just tying your money down into those altcoins that you may never see result in anytime soon, why not invest in bitcoin, and make it grow first, then you can use the profit you get and some little capital to buy those alt coins when you sense that their bull run is nearing which I don’t think will happen until next year immediately after bitcoin halving, but if you insist on adding more coins, look at coins that you don’t have within the top 20 coins.

yep it can go back to previous price, I suggest ethereum and binance coin to invest good to hold with these two. Just don't invest in shitcoin because these days they no longer increase.

Not only your altcoins are down even most of the trader or holder are in loss so I believe continue to hold your coins will be the best choice. Even you should check the growth of the some high potential altcoins this year from the coins chart then you can decide which coin is still stronger in the bearish market.
