I don't know about you but as for me i came into this crypto space in 2017 and i started investing in crypto in 2018,really ive not been around for so long and quiting now is just a stupid idea to me,to make thousands of dollars in crypto appear to be outlandish now but i still believe that nothing is impossible in this world,market is in an exceptionally awful shape and bounty projects are just doing anyhow they see fit but yet i won't give up this easily,next year 2020 will decide which path i will take whether to quit or not since next halving is on 2020 so whether altcoin will see better resurrection or not we shall see,for now i dont mind promoting bounties and trading to stay alive

I think 2020 may be a good time for the market to have new growth but this is just my personal prediction because the current downtrend is still happening. I personally do not have a strong belief in the other coins available in this market because the current investment demand is very low and there are many risks in investing. Now is not a good time to predict altcoins because I believe other top coins will still have more major corrections this year.

Altcoins will grow again in a time when almost all people loose the faith in them, we are very close to this point. I recommend to every altcoin holder, hold on, altcoins will bring you profit, but if it would be so easy, everyone will become a millionaire.

I think next 2 years are going to be very very important for the crypto market in genral, you have talked about altcoins but i think for btc too these years are going to be critical and can prove to be make or break for crypto market.

After Btc halving, things will be different but for now my friend said Btc will be rallying around the zone of 9k - 14k major move will come next year for a spike in the price of Btc hopefully alts will follow suit.

although later in 2020 it doesn't meet your expectations, I hope you don't give up guys. it's still too early if you give up just because these years the market hasn't improved. I believe that where the crypto front will be the most valuable investment, so stay confident.

I also do not want to give up investing and doing bounty in some coins, I have accounts on some top bounty platforms and it only takes me half an hour to do it daily, it's easy the hard part is finding out if it is still profitable.

I don't think the fate of the Altcoins will change with a date. Good times for altcoins begin when investors start to select projects that produce a real product there and reassure them instead of marketing their dreams. Currently only sub coins on the market can make ios and android wallet. it's really funny

I have told some of my friends that the next BTC halving is going to put an end to many of these Shit coins in the space, most people are trapped in most of these Altcoins and they won't recover their money. For now my advice for people is to just look into BTC and may be Ethereum and Binance coin for now and after next year halving the few coins that survive would present a great investment opportunity

That's true, it really doesn't make sense to quit after coming this far. However, I do not think altcoins will die off as there are many altcoins that are valuable rather I believe a time will come when most investors will only go for the genuine projects thus purging the market off shitcoins. On the other hand, with 2020 fast approaching I think it will be a good year for the entire market but only for coins that have something tangible to offer; we just have to wait and see how it plays out as we might be experiencing a new type of crypto market.

How did you assess that the crypto market now is shady? The fate of altcoins in the next coming years is really not clear. But definitely, most of them will disappear/abandon/die down/delisted from exchanges and much more. Because a lot of them are crap ones with no reason to exist. Only those with strong foundation and real use case in the market will survive and I guess those are only very few. Though there are several coins with use case but if they will not get strong support from the community, they might die down also. Because if there are no active users, their business is basically dead.

But I don't think, next year will determine the fate of altcoins. I think, as early as now, you will know the possible fate of most altcoins, look for their foundation. If they are empty, more than likely, they will not exist by the next coming months or years.

if the crypto community is Not getting more publicity as we anticipated, next year will remain the same as usual with cryptocurrency. the crypto space has been affected by the scams and un-serious projects here and there. no wonder most projects disappear in a flash.if the start ups are not properly regulated and handled, we are not getting anywhere near success in this crypto market.

You also have to understand that we won't see a dramatic rise right after halvening. And everyone knows that altcoin has some connection to Bitcoin price. So it you are saying that the resurrection of altcoin is right after the halvening then you have to wait a bit more because it won't happen overnight. I know that the altcoin market is still bleeding at this point, majority of the coins are ~80%-90% of it's previous highs. But that's how the system works and we don't know when it will start to recovery and stand on its own feet again. No don't what to quit at this point though, why not take this opportunity to buy cheap coins?

for this year it certainly won't happen, but in the next year there might be opportunities for this it's just that I'm sure maybe not more than 40%, but hopefully next year there really is such a thing because of course we are already bored with the present conditions which some time ago had improved and now it is getting worse.

Actually this year is also one of the years to determine how the crypto wolrd be. But you are right, next year or probably the next two years will really determine the fake of altcoins. Whether they will be worthier or not, following the high hype or not, and even the price of many new altcoins will have the value or not. Yes, this market and the last two years has been testing our patience for too long. Last year, altcoins fell and the price went up to 90 - 95 percent, and this year even for the growth of bitcoin three to four times we did not see their good growth. We still have more than 4 months remaining in this year and there is a very real chance that the Bitcoin dominance can rise further to 75% or 80%, from the current levels of 69%. In case that happens, then the smaller altcoins (such as those coins outside the top-100) would cease to trade and the holders would rush to dump them at whatever prices they could get.

In short, the fate of the altcoins have been decided already, and for the altcoin lovers the future prospects are not very bright. Many are getting it wrong regard the bear and bull and this is where TA is most useful but recently it has been jeopardize but the whales and the pnd set of people in a way that they only concern abt their pocket and making the market getting worse day by day with the manipulation and it can only be delay but will still eventually happen.

2018 and 2019 were very disappointing years, especially for altcoins. While BTC was doing well, science the beginning of this year, altcoins cannot even move from a dead spot. I agree and believe that 2020 will be much better for all of us.

2018 is not really the best year to invest on altcoins. if you did that last year, there is a high chance that you are in loss today unless you trade and accumulate quantities exceeding the amount in USD which is really hard to do. the price of an altcoin will grow if the team is working hard. if not investors are doomed. it doesn't have to take a year to determine its fate.

Good choice for not putting a lot of your hopes or you may get disappointed with the recent but you still hope that next year will be the great year for Bitcoin and altcoins. Let's see about that. Halving event will going to happen next year. If the major pump will truly occur, then expect majority of the altcoins will be in green, too. But there is no assurance for that. Since, altcoins are hardly pumping even if bitcoin does. And some of them were really left behind and does not prioritized by investors. I am still hoping that next year will be the year of altcoins as I am hodling few of them at least I can still be optimistic about it.

I do the same to your strategies but unlike what you plan,before year 2019 end and the price is still down I will encash my coin and I will fully work in trading.

The bull run which you are talking about is true with regards to Bitcoin only. The other coins are not in good condition right now. Their exchange rates (against both Bitcoin and the USD) continues to drop with every passing week. I would say that for the altcoins, the bear phase is not yet over. This year altcoins show a huge decline in the volume which I believe tells us only thing, that cryptocurrency lose a huge amount of trust in the public after bitcoin fall down from almost 20k USD to 3k+ USD, but the year is still far from end to conclude and bitcoin isnt doing bad it still on 10k+ and for me this still showing us hope.

your statements have no fundamental justification. for altcoins to die - bitcoin must have all the functionality that altcoins have: smart contracts / fast transactions / low fees, etc. now bitcoin did not have any of them thats why we will see the altcoin season and I think that not only one

The Crypto exchange market is known for its very volatile price from very high prices to very low prices in a short period. Although this changeable nature makes the future of Altcoin difficult to predict,
 After experiencing price declines in 2018. It is likely that 2020 will be a beautiful start for growth for Altcoin.

I just think, if next year or in the future Altcoin will grow and grow based on their own blockchain network. because some platforms are already developing, of course they want to develop a bigger platform for them. then there will be more blockchain and have different uses in the market.

I think this year is already determining the fate of most coins while old abandoned projects are coming up gradually to run an IEO, and most people will still invest in those types of projects thus giving them the power to whatever they like. However, when people say altcoins won't survive I don't tend to buy it, because I have seen a coin which have been in this space for a long time now and despite the nature of the crypto market is still developing its platform. Also, coins like Eth, XLM etc have been surviving, the question is how? The answer is, they know what they want, thus until most project developers start working according to plan, they will keep failing. With the rate this space is going, a time will come when only few coins will remain and they will be the valuable ones.

I believe that 2020 will be the year that will decide the fate of almost all tokens, and Ethereum, for sure. I guess, the launch of Ethereum 2.0 will affect the whole crypto market, not only this altcoin. In 2018, we all waited and hoped that growth would begin as early as 2019. By the end of the summer, the hopes had not come true. And we all believe that there will definitely be growth in the next one. But this is just hope, no more than hope.

I would say, speculate is the right word. This market is full of speculation, after all, this is crypto and it is where the people anticipate it's future price. Just like you said, 2018 was supposedly a good year and it did in the beginning, Jan-March was very good as most of the coins really touch their all time highs. But the second quarter and up to know, nothing has happened. Altcoin went into a crypto winter. But crypto market works in cycle, so perhaps by next year, it will have a good bounce and recovery will start and the price will grow.

I don't agree with ypu, not all altcoins are shitcoins, some altcoins have been around for long enough and doing more than well enough for anyone to still doubt if there is actually a future for them.

2019 showed that cryptocurrencies can not only fall in price, but also find the strength in themselves to grow. Bitcoin with its growth pulled the entire crypto market, IEO projects also slightly differed. However, the alt season, which is waiting for so many investors, will not begin in any way. Better you dint get your hopes high too much because that which you expect might not happen or may happen, there is no one that can tll, because bitcoin technology is not a written book that we have to follow every story the way it is written.

The behavioral structure relies on too many factors that we usually get in the market, and halving is just one of them and not the major thing, and the fact that the last halving had some little impact does not mean it will this time around. Look at how much people waited for Litecoin halving, and many people could even bet with their life that the halving will have very big impact on Litecoin, but till date, Litecoin never had any improvement, the Litecoin has come and it has also gone. The bull run you are even talking about may even come and end before the halving.

the fate of cryptocurrency is deteriorating with high rate of scams in the platform. bitcoin and the top altcoins remains the only quality coins to trade . if we continue with the alraming rate of scams, crypto will definitely fade out.

Anything could happen at the dyeing minute. I have seen so many people that their story changes even at 31st of December and made them for life. When things wants to turn around, it only takes little time, prior to when bitcoin start its momentum from April this year, few days to that time, there was still no much difference in the market situation, there was no even sign and even  the analyst could not see it, but majority of us just woke up to it too and we saw that bitcoin had grown to $5000, many people were even doubting because it clashed with the popular April fool day, so what I am saying the essence is that we still have more time like you said, and many of us believe that there would be some changes in this last quarter of the year.

I have always been saying this and will continue to say it but people has always makes noise about bull with no adequate research and knowledge of how TA works which has eventually show the price can be pumped but I will still do what it has to do which is a case of btc and bnb now that went up when it all suppose to come to normal bottom bit now they are forcing it not to retrace again , this is what crypto has turn to in the hands of whales and greed people I.must say.

I doubt if this is as you think. This is prediction with no base. If any project in the name of altcoins comes up in 2030, it will surely survive as we see a lot of sectors and sections of governance and businesses dabbing in blockchain technology.

What we should be looking at is the fate of surviving alts by next year. Many projects keep testing new lows on a weekly basis their real survival value will be know by next year.

I agree with you, altcoins have been falling for 2 years in a row and I also think that altcoins will have to start growing in 2020, especially before bitcoin halving, and if this does not happen, it will be very bad and many people will leave the cryptocurrency sphere again, because few people want to see altcoins fall for 3 consecutive years, but we will certainly wait and hope for the best, but for now there is a great time to invest in altcoins that have been at the bottom for a long time.

I know everyone’s focus is majorly on year 2020 , for the fact that btc halving is coming then and also uptrend roll call should happen that year ! It will really be a great determinant for bitcoin majorly and then we know the fate of Altcoins because now it seems the dip isn’t finished yet !

The BTC is the one deciding what exactly will happen next and currently it is in huger triangle, noone knows where this triangle will lead, it can lead to new highs or btc can very well revisit 6k. If it will go down, alts will go down with it, and there will be not much left from those alts.

yes, of course no one will know is the fate of the next altcoin, but if someone truly believes in the crypto market they will not give up in any situation. Even btc price increase cant influence the price of some alts to bounce back. So only those coins that has real uses and value will survive for long. I will hold on to my alts and will not sell it even next year wont be good, I waited for so long so there's no pain if I hold longer.

Since Vitalik is so sure and confident on the Ethereum 2.0 that will be lunched and if it is able to take care of thousands of transactions within a second is achieved, then that is not a plus to just ethereum alone, but the entire altcoins as a whole. When he gives up on crypto, he will regret it someday because if he continues, he will find another source to help him to make money. I don't think you can put a timeline for the altcoins to bounce back and definitely not all altcoins are gonna bounce back. Atmost you can expect 5 percent of the coins to bounce back and you can't even Guarantee that they will teach ico price.

2020 will be the turning point of all cryptocurrencies. I believe that 2020 will be the start of something good for the whole crypto market. Altcoins without real usecase will bleed more and soon they will be distinguished as dead project while on the other hand Altcoins with real usecase and team who are very active in developing will reach its peak.

When the halving draws closer for Bitcoin next year, it will definitely affect altcoins since funds will move from alts to BTC. After the halving, people will move funds from BTC to alts and this should step up the alts market prices considerably.

Next year will definitely be detrimental. I also have invested in lots of alts and hoping that they will at least show some growth. It is very likely that the lower ones will die off and but I am sure the higher ALTs will see a bit of success.

I also think that now it’s stupid to leave the cryptocurrency market if you have already been in it for at least 1 - 2 years. In my opinion, 2019 is the beginning of the next stage in the development of the crypto market and the next 3 years will be interesting in terms of development and cryptocurrency prices.
