If bitcoin production is cut in half next year, bitcoin prices will rise sharply. I think it takes some conditions to increase the price of the cryptocurrency. I don't know about you but as for me i came into this crypto space in 2017 and i started investing in crypto in 2018,really ive not been around for so long and quiting now is just a stupid idea to me,to make thousands of dollars in crypto appear to be outlandish now but i still believe that nothing is impossible in this world,market is in an exceptionally awful shape and bounty projects are just doing anyhow they see fit but yet i won't give up this easily,next year 2020 will decide which path i will take whether to quit or not since next halving is on 2020 so whether altcoin will see better resurrection or not we shall see,for now i dont mind promoting bounties and trading to stay alive

The bull run which you are talking about is true with regards to Bitcoin only. The other coins are not in good condition right now. Their exchange rates (against both Bitcoin and the USD) continues to drop with every passing week. I would say that for the altcoins, the bear phase is not yet over. And I am unsure whether they will ever be able to climb back to their previous ATH levels.

New altcoins have become pump and dump thing, early investors take a chance because of the high bonus they offer, so when it hit the market, they have no problems dumping because they already realize the profit because of their bonus, next year it is still not bright for the new coins, fewer and fewer coins will do bounty, because they cannot keep up anymore.

This year altcoins show a huge decline in the volume which I believe tells us only thing, that cryptocurrency lose a huge amount of trust in the public after bitcoin fall down from almost 20k USD to 3k+ USD, but the year is still far from end to conclude and bitcoin isnt doing bad it still on 10k+ and for me this still showing us hope.

More altcoins will have their own blockchain platform, and specifically ethereum is much expected as there is more planned updates. Along with it there are more ico projects with burn and buy back access which is purely a good way of creating demand in the market. I don't think next year will determine the fate, because end of the year 2018 there were more speculations stating 2019 to be the year of altcoins. Nothing happened other than the growth of Binance Coin unlike the negative news and market trend.

Cryptocurrency does not lose its influence in any way. The fact that the price of many coins is still falling, means only that the time for their growth has not yet come. But this does not mean at all that they will not gain their former value in the future.

There's a lots of projects that serve it's purpose being a channel for being pump and dump early investors enjoying the bigger chances to takeaway profits, though it's also risky as the trends is becoming weaker for any new projects that's being introduce from time to time,you need to be optimistic there's still a bigger feature that will be seen in next following year to come, keep aiming and try to be calm there's no one rushing you to decide for your fate.

I think this year is already determining the fate of most coins while old abandoned projects are coming up gradually to run an IEO, and most people will still invest in those types of projects thus giving them the power to whatever they like. However, when people say altcoins won't survive I don't tend to buy it, because I have seen a coin which have been in this space for a long time now and despite the nature of the crypto market is still developing its platform. Also, coins like Eth, XLM etc have been surviving, the question is how? The answer is, they know what they want, thus until most project developers start working according to plan, they will keep failing. With the rate this space is going, a time will come when only few coins will remain and they will be the valuable ones.

I think 2020 may be a good time for the market to have new growth but this is just my personal prediction because the current downtrend is still happening. I personally do not have a strong belief in the other coins available in this market because the current investment demand is very low and there are many risks in investing. Now is not a good time to predict altcoins because I believe other top coins will still have more major corrections this year.

I believe that 2020 will be the year that will decide the fate of almost all tokens, and Ethereum, for sure. I guess, the launch of Ethereum 2.0 will affect the whole crypto market, not only this altcoin. Those alts that use ETH platform can grow in their price, and you should concentrate on these cryptocurrencies now.

 I suppose OmiseGO will also become one of the leaders of the market growth.

I would say, speculate is the right word. This market is full of speculation, after all, this is crypto and it is where the people anticipate it's future price. Just like you said, 2018 was supposedly a good year and it did in the beginning, Jan-March was very good as most of the coins really touch their all time highs. But the second quarter and up to know, nothing has happened. Altcoin went into a crypto winter. But crypto market works in cycle, so perhaps by next year, it will have a good bounce and recovery will start and the price will grow.

I also expect a lot of positive developments from 2020. Compared to 2018, the situation has already started to improve, and 2019 has been a year of swinging cryptography, but the real bullish run will happen next year, I think.

I got into cryptocurrencies a long time ago. I did a lot of things, including advertising the coin of the same name. The main income was received from the cryptocurrency boom at the end of 2017. It is a pity that I then decided not to cash out my earnings, but began to reinvest it in various altcoins. Because of this choice, I lost a significant part of my money, which I hope to earn again in the next alt season.
