Distribution

The maximum supply of MoneyByte coins will be 32220000 MON. These coins will be mined through PoS mining (Proof of Stake) and through Masternodes. Every block in the blockchain mined , contains 2.3 MON of rewards, distributed over PoS (30%) and Masternodes (70%).

With an average of 60 seconds per block, we will generate 1440 blocks each day, meaning 3312 coins will be distributed on the network each day in the first 2 years.

All MoneyByte coins will be distributed in a time lapse of 42.5 years (ending april 2061). When all MoneyByte coins will be distributed then fees for staking will be the rewards to divide.

Our latest newsflash was almost a month ago and the past month the MoneyByte Blockchain Team has done a lot of work. Again there was a lot of communication work with various platforms. Every day we gained more awareness with getting listed on various platforms.

In addition to all this communication work, the financial and tech part of the team also has been busy with the development of our investment tools. Regarding this, earlier this week we have introduced you to our newest Hedged Masternode!

The developers from the MoneyByte Blockchain Team started developing on a new, smooth, cool and awesome investment platform. With all kind of cool investment tools (also with connections between the crypto world and the “real” world). We aim to start testing with this platform in the first quarter of 2020. The first pilot opening for public is planned in the second quarter of 2020. But during this development we will keep you informed about the progress in our news flashes!

This past month our chain developers did some work on the MoneyByte Blockchain. The chain development team released a new wallet update (NON mandatory!). MoneyByte wallet version 1.3.0.1
In this new update the development team did a IPv6 Seed Update to fix the IPv6 problems. The update was non-mandatory. But this new wallet is recommended for faster connection! So our developers keep developing for our chain, but they needed some extra hands on it! And and that is why we made a call for developers to join our team. And that call has had an effect. It is time for some MoneyByte news from the team!

Our latest newsflash was almost 3 weeks ago and the past 3 weeks the MoneyByte Blockchain Team again has done a lot of work. The marketing team did some nice jobs with some marketing video's, they want to try to gain more awereness through this video's. Also there was a lot of communication with various platforms, our latest communication was with Coin Market Cap, about a possible listing on their platform.

In addition to all this communication work, the financial and tech part of the team also has been busy with the development of our investment tools. Regarding this, the past weeks we have introduced you to our newest Hedged Masternode!

The developers from the MoneyByte Blockchain Team started developing on some new commits for our blockchain. Mainly some fixes with seed connection problems, but also some adjusting on the local windows wallet. The delopment team aims to have these new commits available at the start of the new year. It will be again a NON mandatory update.

Because MoneyByte is growing fast, we could use extra hands on our team. We are looking for developers with skills in crossplatform lanuages like nodejs , react , angular or vue. The year 2019 is almost over and the holidays are coming.

It was a nice year, in which we achieved a lot of things. Q1 of this year we decided to go professional with our project. We formed a team together and started the creation of a plan. On 1-7-2019 the MoneyByte idea was born. We started to work out our plan. Graphics were made, plans for a new blockchain were made, etc…

After a lot a preparation, testing, etc.. we official launched the MoneyByte blockchain on 1-10-2019 to the public!

After the launch we did not stopped working. Since then a lot of things we achieved, most of it can be found on our roadmap https://www.moneybyte.org/about/roadmap/

We got listed on several exchanges with several pairs. In total we are now listed on 9 exchanges!!! You can find them over here https://www.moneybyte.org/get-started/get-moneybyte/

Also we extended our investing tools. We got a lot more hedged masternode pools.

Our development team kept working on the chain. On 27-11 they released a new wallet with some fixes and network improvements. On 29-11 they finished our MAC wallet!

Our trading market also evolved very well. We started with $MON at 50 sats, but very quick we reached the 75 sats. On 20-10 we even reached 100 sats and on 26-10 we reached 111 sats. On 11-11 we even reached 200 sats!!! But it kept rising, because on 3-12 we reached the 250 sats. Today 1 $MON is at 280 sats!

A lot of things we achieved, a lot of work has been done in this year. But we won’t stop here. In 2020 we have a lot of work to do, and we also have a lot of plans. So MoneyByte will keep evolving, we will keep working on MoneyByte to achieve our ultimate goals (see our whitepaper for our ultimate goals: https://www.moneybyte.org/about/whitepaper/

Mining does not work because our blockchain does not work on the PoW (Proof of Work) consensus. Our blockchain verifies the blocks through PoS (Proof of Stake).

Willem de Boer: "Since our last newsflash end december 2019 the MoneyByte Blockchain Team has done a lot of work. Development is done, marketing had done some good jobs and our investing tools has been extended. To get a good view inside the team, I asked from every part of the team someone to explain what is done and accomplished."


MARKETING

Tammy Johns (Head Marketing): "The marketing team made some nice smooth new marketing video's, we want to try to gain more awareness through this video's.
We worked on getting listed on several platforms. For example, we achieved on getting on flits masternode and zcore node system. Also we tried to communicate with blocknet for listing. We have communicated with zelcore about listing on zelcore wallet. Also we have communicated with several crypto exchanges for possible listings. We hope to get some results in Q1 2020, which is what we strive for. We also been working on wechat and instagram, to get those media work and gain awareness through them. On twitter we our doing daily tweets to gain awareness and of course we are active on our Facebook, almost daily. And we are working to get us on crypto.com

DEVELOPMENT

Willem de Boer: "Our development team is working on a new, non-mandatory, update for the chain/wallet. CircuitBreaker (Head development) and Dacapel (chain developer) are working hard on this update. They hope to get this update ready at the start of februari 2020. Also the development team started working on a MANDATORY update, which will be launched somewhere in Q2 of 2020. The next team news update CircuitBreaker will share some technical changes which will occur in these updates. For the non-mandatory one we mainly focus on the mn collateral lock (auto lock), the blockchain blocks directory (possible to change that) and the auto refresh of MN status in the wallet. The technical changes for the MANDATORY will be explained in the next team news update."

Majd Malki (Website & crossplatform developer): "Because our investment tools are growing fast we decided to create a separate site for them.

All investing tools have moved to investing.moneybyte.org and all URL’s are redirected to their new address, affected pages:

BLOCKCHAIN/CRYPTO TECH

Emir Mujkic (blockchain technician): "I have installed a new explorer. The old one had too much pitfalls and errors. The new explorer works smoother and has got some adjustments like links to our social media accounts, new COIN INFO tab, improved masternode tab etc..."

Paul Neumayer (Bot technician): "I have worked on the bots on our discord. Smoothened some up, mostly because of some errors that occurred. Also troubleshooted a lot of problems with discord bot attacks and security problems."


FINANCIAL

Pete Newland: "The investment platform continues to grow with new hedged nodes continually being added. Within the 12 existing nodes there is a mix of purchased and sponsored nodes in operation. The addition of the 3rd Moneybyte masternode has kept the returns high. With around 116,000 MON invested and receiving rewards on the equivalent of 150,000 MON it provides good leverage.
We are happy to consider other projects on the basis of stability, development and community activity.
Some Moneybyte spread betters have seen good rewards as BTC trends upwards. Some even doubling there MON within a couple of days. Moneybyte where necessary will take out spread betting contracts to protect the project against large losses.
Moneybyte staking wallet weights seems stable around 1 million MON and 2.75 million locked in masternodes.
Moneybyte members are reminded not to keep too much in their Panda wallets and minimal amounts on the exchanges. Please remember MON kept on the exchanges do not earn POS rewards for you and are likely to be being staked by the exchanges themselves."

The MoneyByte market is going well. Since october 2019 we jumped from an average price of 80 sats to an average price of 280 sats by the end of december. The start of 2020 tempered the price a bit and made it stabilize at an average price of 250 sats.

Although the main goal of the MoneyByte team is not the trading marked, it still is important to have a good trading market to keep the project healthy! So we need a good healthy trading volume from at least 1000$ each day. In december we had a good average, almost 1000$ each day, 2020 also tempered this and now we have an average daily trading volume between 100$-500$
We hope that due to our hard work, this will rise again the coming months! The exchanges we are listed on (7 at the time of writing) should be enough to create this volume, hence why a new exchange listing is not our top priority. But as said by Tammy from Marketing we still are working on getting listed on more exchanges, although not top priority.

Willem de Boer: “Since our last newsflash on january 30th, 2020 the MoneyByte Blockchain Team has done an awesome lot of work. Development and tech department has done some awesome jobs and marketing had done some good jobs too. Our team has not been idle. To get a good view inside the team, I asked from some parts of the team someone to explain what is done and accomplished.”

MARKETING
Tammy Johns: “The past months we achieved to be listed on several crypto statistic websites. Although we think CoinGecko en CoinPaprika are awesome platforms, we are pleased to have a pre-listing on CoinMarketCap. But to get a full listing we need to have a daily trading volume of more then 5000 dollar. Also the marketing team made some nice smooth new marketing video’s, we want to try to gain more awareness through this video’s. We have done some more marketing through Discord the past weeks, the coming period we strive to do more on social media like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. But our main purpose is to reach out to the crypto community first. ”

DEVELOPMENT
Willem de Boer: “The development on our, non-mandatory, update for the chain/wallet is still in an on going proces. On the developments gitkraken account the work is done. Meanwhile the development team also started work on a mandotory update. CircuitBreaker and Dacapel are working hard on this update. They hope to get this update ready later on this year. We don’t want to rush this work, we prefer to do it well rather than quickly. But we will keep you all updated on the progress ofcourse.

Paul Neumayer: “We have done much work on our investing platform. We we have developed several new products and implemented them into out investing platform. Pete Newland: “As said, the MoneyByte price market is going superb. Especially because of the growth of the investing platform. Since januari 2020 we jumped from an average price of 300 sats to an average price of 500 sats by the end of march. We expect to see price fall a bit the coming 2 months. Bitcoin dollar price will rise, causing people to buy more BTC and sell more altcoins. Also with the coming halving of Bitcoin we expect people to gather their BTC. We expect the MoneyByte BTC price will drop a bit because of this events. But after these events we think altcoins like MoneyByte will attrack new BTC again , causing a price rise. So our advise is not to sell you MON to low, there are several big investors waiting for a bit lowe price to to collect a lot of MON. Do not give your MON away, be wise!
