I agree, I believe LTC should be valued 1/10th the current value of bitcoin. It's the most known and accepted coin after btc.

Smartcoin -Massively undervalued and price recently droped a ton and dev is now taking poll votes to decide on block halving..time to invest before it gets implemented.
Goldcoin - Search it up and just the name its self speaks for its potential.

DOGE gets a bashing on the trollbox, and even the occasionally banning but I think it is a great coin. I like the inflation (I think inflation is good for a coin to suppress the speculation and lost coins) and that it is well known and widely used (relatively) for an alt coin. Also a good community with lots of charitable work.

MINTCOIN is the most underrated by us crypto guys. Actually, Bitcoin is the most underrated by the public, they believe the BS on the news about it.

One way to get rid of these coins is to mine at a multipool that mine some currently high valued shitcoin, sell it and pay you back in one of the better coins.

Very true, but in terms of valuation against the rest, Dimecoin is probably the most undervalued (due to the shit with the Dev and premine). No way will it stay so low, and the mining stats show some people are in agreement.

5 algos in one coin.
Undoubtly most ASIC resistant coin ever, as you can mine with asic scrypt and sh256, but there are 3 more algos left for GPU miners (one will be replaced by CPU only algo) and each algo has its own difficulty and each algo generates exact amount of coins as another.
So if at scrypt algo will be 1000000 MHs power, you dont care, they only get 1000 MYR each 2.5 mins, same as GPU guys at Skein even if there will be just few of them.. this coin is just perfect and soon it launches to moon

- Over $100,000 IPO that is being distributed over 3 months, has been handled very professionally, and has allowed for the devs to dedicate all of their time to the coin, as well as hire professionals to assist.

- Clear, focused goals.

-  And, the reason it is undervalued currently...the price is actually being purposely suppressed, rather than pumped, to allow new users to get coins at a decent price.  A few whales have came in to try to pump it, and every time they have been crushed and driven away.

#2 Darkcoin

- as close to anonymous as a decentralized currency is going to get.  I mean, it basically has a tumbler built into it...

- professional devs

- it will blow up as soon as someone builds a "Silk Road" around it.  Preferably one using (mostly)trust-less methods of sending coins, like built in, automated escrow, or m-of-n addresses.

Litecoins and digitalcoins are my top choices.

My top three underrated coins are VGC, QQC, QQB.

VGC because there are only 100 million coins and the DEV team is great. They are very active and helpful.

QB there are only 15 million coins. that is really the only reason pure speculation I did not spend a ton on this coin but it does not have to go far to make descent money.

QQC Same as above. Most of the coins I choose for my speculative holdings are all 100 million and under for total coin cap. Vegas coin is the only coin I am mining right now because I believe in this coin longer term. The others are more for I believe they will be a good Pump and dump coin later on.   

Darkcoin...it actually offers a purpose.

Darkcoin keeps coming up and I agree it is under rated. It offers so many things that other coins do not that it should be worth a fortune, not priced as low as it is. In the future it will be right at the top of the alt coin league table.

Darkcoin...that's really all I can think of.  Out of all the coins that have come out I'm the last few months, its the only one that actually does something useful.

Litecoin is also underrated if you ask me, but from a macro stand point only.
Litecoin can easily double in the next few months if you ask me.

thereby the 3 I listed out here, Worldcoin has excellent develeopment and existing network and volume over a long stretch of History.
Dogecoin has a very euthusastic community behind it, and deserves the mention. Darkcoin appears innovative, however Darkcoin need to get accepted by more merchants, as of right now, if an imitator walks in and does better than Darkcoin there, I will easily jump ship.

In the end, it is the developers, and the community that contributes to the value of a coin.

Darkcoin is under rated because dark send is still in beta. After the first release version people will rate dark coin higher.

Coin2 is underrated

no, it's one algorithm using 11 hashing functions

you can build an asic for it and it will cover darkcoin mining
but to cover myriadcoin in asic mining you'll need 5 asics:

Dogecoin because they hanged it to allow a bit for inflation after most of the coins are mined instead of a hard cap. It's probably a better idea to do it that way but the PR was incredibly badly handled.

Klondike coin because they now have debit cards you can top up with Klondike coins.

I can conform that I  get my free Reddcoin consistently. Quite impressed that they have continued to honour their obligations.

The Winklevoss twins said it would peak at between $20,000 and $30,000.  They see it as undervalued at present.

bitcoin = value should be $1000 not 500

litecoin = value should be $50 not 15

darkcoin = value should be $10 not 0.7

Digitalcoin for sure. It's got some good developers right now, it's fast and secure. Mainly I like the projects that are coming for it. It's been accepted on Moolah.io too, so it's doing well for itself as an underdog.

Klondikecoin was one of my favourites. But it's very silent the last time about this coin.

The new debit cards that you can top up with Klondike coins should help with publicity.

Apparently people are still looking at Heavycoin and Blackcoin for skyrocketing in value... Hopefully this holds true

Underrated because the lead developer is a real engineer/software developer and the stuff I have seen in the works is 10x more valuable than anything other projects are working on (other than protocol layers.)

I'm glad I just saw this thread.  I get to hopefully reach some people.  Though others have already said so, I'm going to tell you why Darkcoin is extremely underrated.

Evan Duffield (eduffield), a full time dedicated developer for Darkcoin crated a coin that has so many new, useful features, they've already been copied in other coins.  He has two people helping him directly that I know of, Internet Ape and LimLims.

Evan first wanted to create a coin with a smooth reduction in rewards, so he used a version of Moore's Law.  It may not have worked out exactly the way he planned at first, but he quickly made adjustments and got it running smooth super quickly and has responded to issues so quickly, it's amazing.

First, a whale hit our coin, it drove the difficulty up really high, so Evan implemented KGW, but then there was a time warp issue discovered with KGW, so Evan whipped up a better difficulty algorithm that he called Dark Gravity Wave, which is super responsive to the difficulty swings are coin sees on a daily basis.

Next, a exploit was discovered in stratum, where people could set their difficulty to practically nothing, and send in useless shares, but get credit for them, thereby effectively stealing shares from all the miners in a pool.  If you recall your pools fixing this, the solution came first from our Evan Duffield who quickly shared it with the rest of the community.

Another thing, Evan created this coin with a new set of algorithms.  Like quark, he combined a long list of crypto algorithms to keep Asics at bay.  He called it X-11 for the 11 algorithms he included.

But the REAL reason for Darkcoin's existence is DarkSend.  Evan came up with a new implementation of CoinJoin to make transactions seamlessly anonymous from the wallet.  It is an entirely decentralized solution to keep your finances private.  We are currently on Beta v4, but he accidently called it Beta V5, LOL, he's like the absent minded professor.

We are almost there!

And what about the future?  Evan is open to our suggestions, and users have come up with some fantastic ideas.  Evan has already hinted that he 'solved' something he'd been working on, and that it's going to be a surprise.  So we're all excited to learn what it is.

So What do YOU need to know?

First, you may be interested to know that mining X-11 runs far cooler than script, up to 45%, possibly more, cooler.  It also uses correspondingly less energy.  With summer coming, it'll help your room stay cooler and the fans are way quieter!

Second, many of us believe that Darkcoin is very undervalued.  In fact, the hash rate is quite high yet the price is still low.  Why are people mining if it's so difficult?  Because we all believe this coin is special and 1. want to support the network and 2. think it will ultimately bring in way more money in the near future.  So it's a great time to buy Darkcoin, it's far from being too late to dive in!  We've been holding steady at a low price for a long time now, and the price is just starting to creep up, but I've still bought darkcoin at a higher price than it is now, and I'm not worried.

Third, the hash rate of Darkcoin is 2.5 - 3 X that of script, and the difficulty is as well.  So don't let the numbers freak you out too much, as it's different from script.  You'll get higher numbers with X-11.
