What is the most reason to buy new token or new coin, to trade it in the market or to spend it if there something to spend it?
I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.
And not tokens exchanges such as BNB.
What you think?

Basically, 90 of hodlers would buy to trade. Just what I have witnessed overtime.

I am not interested in new coins to trade on the exchange for reasons of small volumes and do not last long, while developing coins takes a long time, I prefer the top coins and there is a lot of favorable evidence like BNB that I have held in the long term and profitable.

We've been into a time that we want coins or tokens which are just in exchange and went out to be scammed and run that money with them
Now i will be in trading like binance just to make it work again and get I lose back into track!
I will definitely invest again but with IEO only of KUCOIN BINANCE AT OKEX!

I will never buy any token , i prefer to buy a coin if i want to trade mostly belong to the top 100 coins, but remove those token belong that belon to top 100. This tokens has no real demand or use unlike coins that have it and making it more usable to users not only for trading but has use in real world.

For traders, the most reason is buying token or coin to trade it on the exchange hoping for profit from the trade.
but for merchants, they buy it because they want to spend it. And as personal I am buying it because I want to spend it or exchange something that I want to have outside my country.
based on those two options, cryptocurrency still on the speculation period which means almost all of them are doing this for the sake of trade and profit.

simple, in most cases that most of the new coins generated from many projects are useless and even feel like dead. they are like uninvited guests. come and then leave.

All tokens are being bought because of it's potential and the technology attaches to the coin, if it's a security token it will partake of the profit the token has generated in the market, people should not buy because of the volume and the price, because pump and dump do exist and it's a trap that every investor should avoid, when buying a new token to hold.

No reason to buy more, I’ve had have enough of it and probably could last on my wallet wallet 10 years or probably some could stay here forever. Nothing is more exciting to buy now, I’m more cautious in investing now thats its hard to cover losses.

I think that most of the people buy something they see as undervalued and hodl that as a speculative asset that has more space to grow then other coins.
Some of the hodlers just try to show the support for the project in that way.
Some of them believing that they are part of the revolution and their coin leads it somewhere to eth price levels.
TA Traders just choose the coin that is easy enough and profitable to trade.

i think it's because the price after a new token/coins listed on exchange it will get huge dump so many people will catch for the dump
after the dump over and the price of the new tokens recovered they will sell it for profit

at the expense of new tokens is now very difficult to recommend, it is better for you to buy in the falling market with top coins and then sell and make a profit. otherwise with new coins you can be left with nothing

Its because we believe. There has to be something to believe to a project that makes us invest to it like the team had done several conferences or the team is supported by Tim Draper or Elon Musk. Heck I bought Tezos while its price was more than $3 believing this will give me better profit. I believe to it and well, it already happened.

I still see this to be a good project to invest, I'm still glad I hold on to it for I can see its making its way now. It only needs few milestones and I can get my money back.

Most people buy new coins or tokens, trying to capitalize on the volatility of the course and, basically, few people think about their real application.

I buy coins if I think the coin is a good investment. I don't buy random coins just because others have been telling that it's a good investment, no. I don't do that because I have my own decision although I also take others advice if it's a good one.

As long as you see their worth, you need to be particular when it comes to buying new coins. The risk is higher to those kind of coins because they are new, means that it's possible for their devs to leave the project behind easily.

New coin is a high risk and most of them will crash, making their tokens useless or worthless. But you're in charge of your money, the good of crypto token, it's up to you to decide. I'm still considering buying a new coin because I think some startups also have a good chance of being successful.

Most people buy new tokens or coins just to make quick bucks which we also call as flippening but the hard fact is that in a bearish market this strategy does not work so you have to exit in loss in most cases, this strategy only works in bull market that is why we are not seeing many ico projects nowadays.

Other than the potential for some pumps and dumps, many new coins are a pain in the ass, only a few actually have actually created value for real usage so as to drive price from utility. Some do hold good potential for great returns.

Before buying a coins/tokens, i will first choose a coin that is suitable for long-term investment and must be careful in choosing a coins/tokens.
waiting for the price to dump when listing at the exchangers and buying at the lowest price is the best strategy to get a large profit

To be honest , only the new comers into the cryptoworld are buying into the new projects as most of them believe that any coin could be the next Bitcoin which is not the case lets be honest! Don't chase dreams that could never happen with new projects but yea some of them could be hidden gems but most of them will be gone after run or just before the bull run.

Personally , I don't buy into new projects but I go on IcoBench daily and check the Announcement thread also in check for projects that I could make profit in the long run.

The reason why I buy new worth tokens is because am a trader and not an investor. Investors tend to loose their investment with new tokens than the traders in the market. The area of my happiness with the new tokens is that; they can make you a good profit especially if they are listed on exchange.

What I witnessed the majority of the volume is fake by the trading bots, never fall to the illusion that all volume indicators show the interest domination by the day traders. The day traders buy X token and they wait for the correct exit price which can be observed with different trading tools. After closing the last trading deal jumping to the next altcoin will increase the profitability. I call this one of the reasons in the daily reality that traders observe on the different crypto exchanges.

Basically, it's to trade it for profit. There's not more practical applications of cryptocurrency at the moment in terms of spending it on physical items. Although alchemy has a usecase in that region and via its payment portal solution, btc, eth and bch can be used to purchase items in a physical store called Pricerite in Hong-Kong

I wish things work that way but this used to be the story of past and nowadays hardly you will see any successful new projects as most the projects crumble down before they get listed as investors and bounty hunters are just keep in dumping the project for mere profits and these new coins are of no use to traders as well because these are listed in some low volume exchange. Being a trader is not as easy as you have described.

Considering that cryptocurrencies are not used widely as a payment method, we use it for trading. Or because we think it will grow in the future. Do not think there is anything special, this market is open to every innovative view. If one is being evaluated, then it should be. Unlike you, I think innovative ones should always be. It has only been present for 10 years, and it takes many years like this to further develop.

Maximum people buy new coin for trade and make profit i guess. In ICO/IEO many projects give you huge discount for invest on their coin/token but you can't see those kinda offer for old coin right..? So people buy new coin with extra bonus and when it come to the market they sold it for profit. And i don't thing that you can spend new coin anywhere because for that kinda thing it's need some time.

We buy new token or coin because we see them as a potential investment. As an investor, we need to diversify and continue to look for new opportunities in the market that can give us a lot of profit in long term basis. Only a few of the new tokens or coins are worth investing because most of them are just a copy from existing project, so I look for something original with a great concept and road map.

Depend on youre taste mate, some here earned a lot of profit by doing trading, yes there are lots of people say that trading is very dangerous but you should know its effect once you experience it. I dont gamble with new tokens and coins, I prefer to play with playsafe coins that are legit and has significant volume in the market. Depends on people appetite and risk assessment.

i am not too interested in new coins / tokens, currently new coins / tokens are not very good and it's very difficult to get money there. most of them are very difficult to grow, and the worst is that new coins cannot last long on the crypto market. most of these coins die after being registered in the exchange.

I bought a new coin or token because for trade, usually a new coin entering the exchanger has fluctuations that tend to go up, so we can use it to profit. I bought depending on the history of the coin, if the coin / token has a successful project and attracts many investors and the mass interest will definitely benefit. Sometimes I also don't buy new coins / tokens when they are listed so not all new coins when they enter the exchanger listing will go up, basically if we can play the fluctuation value of new coins when they are listed we can get a pretty good profit.

i am interested in coin with new product to offer in the market new ideas not just copy from other project that what i am looking . Token is just a trash to our wallet better not invested in it.

Many buy new coins or tokens for trading and some invested in them for the short term gains but i am not a pro trader so i don't invest in altcoins but i like promoting solid new projects and hold for a very long time like now that the altcoin market is bad

Buying a new token is not a bad idea if you choose the perfect one! Sometimes we try our luck in reputed new coins. For example, if you buy Ethereum, LTC, EOS and hold them, then after how many months will you get double profit? No one knows. Because these coins already gained enough and without a big move in the crypto market, these coins price won't go high. But if you buy a new IEO coin from gateio, Binance or Kucoin launchpad, you can get 8x-10x profit within a very short time. This is the reason why I am buying new tokens.

Exactly, a person will have his own views about the technology they are buying because some will hold the coin for the long term and some will buy the coin in order to make profits through trading. It completely depends on the interest they have towards the technology.

The only purpose someone will buy a token or coin is either the token has a good profit making potential within a period of time or to increase their altcoin portfolio.  A lot of people in the crypto space are just in here to make profits, these people buy new tokens to trade them back for profits. No one buys new tokens just to spend them but to invest in them.

as a trader or investor are always looking for new altcoins that they want to invest, but indeed we ourselves cannot arbitrarily choose because of course we do not want to get losses due to mistakes from finding altcoin which apparently has no potential and is precisely a scam

I agree, most of the projects from 2018 to now are junk coins. They only create projects then try to sell them off to make a profit and leave

Honestly, some investors are blindly picking which project will they support and where do they invest their money in. Investors are always after money, and only are there for technology. If an investor thinks a project is profitable they invest. That is why investors and traders out their money in new altcoin. Not all projects that failed last 2018 are trash, it is due to the market situation and not to add the number of scam ICOs which affected even those legitimate ICO.

Personally for long term holdings expecting to earn after, there's still no clear usage for new coin inside the market most traders buys for investment or for pairing inside the exchange. it's the practical way for gaining income if you have good skills with trading.

The reason I bought a new coin or token is that is certain for investment. Which of course is only for the short term. Before buying certainly have to go through an argument within myself whether this will have the possibility to generate profits or vice versa. What is certain for the long term is that I take bitcoin as a solution.

Well the most reason why they buy new token because there is chance to pump in a short time, but it can quick dump also, it's risky to invest a new token. It's better to invest in the top coinmarketcap at least they pick in the top 50.

Mostly people buy coins and token to earn some great profit from them. But now there are so many scam projects that creates disturb in the crypto-adoption. I believe investor must deeply analyze market trends (https://www.coincurb.com/news/) of the project, check its rating, whitepaper and its team members. Only experienced team have the potential to move the project.

This is what we should do frequently. Because I think Everyone should encourage new ideas in the crypto industry for a better future. So, buying new tokens not just for making money, it can be good support for a new idea! Though the altcoins market is in the bearish situation, but this will be changed for sure. So, we can buy a new token to support a project which has unique products or dApp!

Many are buying to trade once the price goes up, but new coins are plain dangerous investment moves, i don't recommend it at all unlike old projects that have been in existence years ago, creating coins especially tokens have become very easy thats why more useless projects keep showing up

the reason for buying tokens/coins like that is because the company is behind it. small example, in the future, why do people want to buy libra, because libra is supported by large companies such as Facebook, and many others. the other thing is also because the token has the function or thing that we need, and of course the potential to have a high price is huge. That is a common thing why many people buy coins that are ready on the market.

Now if I buy new altcoins, I do it only through IEO on top exchanges, usually I buy new altcoins only on IEO at the Binance exchange, because that’s where good IEOs are held, after which you can immediately sell your tokens and get a good profit, and I’m not going to invest in altcoins that conduct ICOs anymore.

We buy new tokens because have big chance to get profit after listing in market, you can see how growing up with new coin after listing just few second, many investor make moment to buy and we got much profit with higher more than 50%, but you can buy new coin depend which one exchange will be list, never buy new coin listing in shit or bad exchange market because no one investor like or invest with bad exchange, they have only with big exchange market.

People buy new coins because they tend to speculate. Every investment we make in altcoin is speculation except for altcoin which is in the top 10 coinmarketcap because it already has a large transaction volume. By speculating on new coins, investors sometimes expect large profits

Good point and good question from @OP. For me, personally I  seldom or even not buying coins on ICO and even in IEO.Most of them lost value over time, and it will take time even years to recover. This is base o my observation since I witnessed the ICO boom in 2017 where many ICO become success full and gone after a year or so.

I think they are willing to buy new coins or tokens because it has a potential to earn, Once it will get listed on exchangers so its very hard for them also to earn some money like playing gambling for their money.

The important thing is you have to learn about fundamental analysis and technical analysis before you start to trade. Because the buying san selling points are important for traders.

I do not spend much using my coins. I normally buy coins or tokens for the sake of making a profit out of them. And lately, I am avoiding buying new tokens or coins. I guess I have enough already. My wallet has actually accumulated a lot of shitcoins that are now worth nothing. Some of them retains a little value, but so little that I would not even bother transferring them to another wallet. They don't even worth the withdrawal fee.

I'd like to hold it because I know I can guarantee for huge profit. we can pick a good new one. but for me I will pick for a new good start. with this I can win the race with no hassle and new projects now that run IEO's are good to pick and we can assure for profit in exact time.

indeed if you have a very good platform and have a very high demand and even very useful for many people then we can buy and be a participant of raising funds from the new token, but if the platform is not very good then it is definitely not going to buy it.

When coins are newly listed, some persons believe they have the potential to give some profit as traders tend to join the FOMO, and team bring in their support in trading for the coin to probably to well known ahead of the road map execution, Some newly listed coins have performed well in the short interim benefiting some wise traders before a major price decline. We saw this in most Binance IEO and some Kucoin IEO. It's majorly for profit taking that traders buy newly listed coins.

One of the main essences of launching a coin or token is its utility power, but that is if it is a utility token, because there are other forms of tokens, such as security and equity tokens. However, the most common is utility token, which is in line with what is called its use case. Sometimes, investors buy coins, because of the services provided by the project or many projects, where applicable.

Simply because it has the largest potential growth though it's risky. Buying new tokens means that you are trusting that coin will gain value in the long run because it's valuable to the market itself and it has something that other altcoins doesn't offer. Now it is not easy to be attracted by new coins to trade because besides the small volume of new coins also do not last long and now we find a lot of new coins that scamer so that many investors feel disadvantaged, if there really is a new coin that has potential then naturally many investors who are interested in trading.

I personally have a reason to buy new tokens or coins to invest. With notes, their tokens really do look potentially, and do more research so as not to buy the wrong token / coin. If I did not choose the wrong investment, then the benefits will I get.

We all have our own reason, but its fundamental is the same, to make a profit. Making a profit is the reason why we buy new coins, new coins can be use to earn a good profit just by waiting for the immediate traders to dumo their coins. Buying at bearish market is one of the way to buy a lot of coins and sell it at bull market.

First of all, the new tokens can give a higher profit/loss ratio compared to the old altcoins which pump-dumped hundred times. This ratio can attract new investors and the advantages of investing in the new altcoin will lead to growth sooner or later. Making research and digging into the altcoin world can be boring but in the end, the reward will cover all the satisfaction in my opinion.

Very agree with what you say, doing further research before buying a coin or new token is indeed very necessary, because we all obviously want to make a profit and do not want to suffer losses because of buying a coin or token.

If you see there is many good new that spread on this market about the coin then you must buy it, because there will be many people who will buy it. Yeah, you have to know the speculation factor can affect the price cryptocurrency, we can say it as hype also because there will be newcomer who didn't know anything about cryptocurrency.

I think that is the reason why some people who bought altcoin. Just a few people who have intention to buy it for long term investment since as you may know the price altcoin is not worth for long term investment especially for new altcoin who just listed on the exchange. If I give a suggestion to invest on altcoin, just choose investing for short term investment and seems like that is the good strategy.

To be honest i am not buying new token or coin right now because i am more confident with the top altcoins now like eth, neo and xrp, i am sure that i can able to get more profit in the future if will just keep investing on trusted coins and no doubth that in the next bull run this 3 altcs will give me good income.

because usually people buy new coins looking at from a very good future project. a group of people trade those coins to get fast profit.

they will surely bring you profit, but you won’t know how much it will be. other coins are exactly the same. they will bring you profit but how much we do not know. but the probability of a huge profit is higher for other altcoins, not from your list

the main reason why you trade is to get profit and to be able to get huge profit is to be able to accumulate it while its low in price
i think that is why traders buy new tokens or coins because of the possibility of fast return of capital with a decent profit.

I think its purely speculation to buy new token or coin, sometime they are grow up to 30% just one day. That mean people who buy that token can get fast and more profit when new coin just listed on exchange.

First of all, I analyze the market to know which token is in a good position or will be in a good position. Then I buy those token to hold for some time.  When the price is a little bit high I sell all of the tokens I have bought.   because I don't want to take a risk by holding for a long time. I face some loses also in some tokens whose prices have never increased.

So far, the cryptocurrency market is at the stage of implementation and adoption by the community and the banking system. Therefore, the main goal of the majority is the accumulation and profit by cryptocurrency.

Some investors would risk to buy it depending on how good is the details driven by whitepaper, that's why more holders got interested on ICO projects that has launched years ago. Funds being raised those days, is very promising and pumping after it was being listed at exchange sites. Traders, investors and hunters engaged with usual trading activities had gone so busy with new token or coin, day trading is profitable on those old days.

if it's possible to use it as shopping if there's anything to spend, I think that could be the main reason for coins to grow and survive. and in exchange, trading is also a positive thing if the coin continues to be stable in the market and can survive.

New token always pump after and before listing on exchange market, your chance with new coin higher than you buy or invest with old coin have listed on exchange market. New coin always profitable after listing on exchange market because investor interested with new coin for investing and old altcoin is not good moment to invest with short term.

Often and almost every trader buys a new coin to make a profit. They buy it to wait for the price to pump and then sell it when they reach their maximum sales target. And then again look for a new coin and wait for the pump to sell again.

They can also hold it if they think it has a good future.

Nowadays almost all altcoins when listing on the market can be sure that prices will experience a price decline. and it is usually a project where the seller gives a large bonus to the investor so that when the market listing prices go down. precisely when there is a price reduction like this we must be careful in purchasing because several times I see prices can go down even if the wrong purchase

I think one of the main reason why is because we want to experience something new and together with it, recieve higher profits. We cannot be consistent on something that does not grow that's why we look forward on looking out for a new token that has higher rate. The amount of the tokens also varies that's why we try something new, so that we can gain much from the new ones.

Of course, any purchase involves making a profit, and yes, new coins are more likely to quickly raise the cost, but you need to look at the volumes of toggles

All the investors are read the OP and search the volume also so potential token and altcoins are going to moon at anytime. Sometimes they need big investors because demand and supply is always important in crypto so big shots are invest in token or altcoin it will going to moon and earn good profit.

   Each of us buy some coin or token for the future rise, and profit that we can harvest. But big difference is in for how long
we plan to wait before we harvest that profit, couple days or couple years? How long we are ready to wait for the profit?
   That is the difference between short and long term investors. Some people are short-term investors and they want and
expect to make fast profit. Some of us are long-term investors, we are ready to wait for years before we see the project
fully developed and only then we are harvesting the profit.

Usually that is not happening with the new coins or tokens. We need to choose the best projects at the time of ICO phase itself because there is very huge chance to make the money.
Instead of buying new coins on exchanges we can sell that coin got listed in the exchange at the early stage. Else you can choose the one of good coin in the marketplace.

For the long term investment definitely i'm not recommend in any small volume coin because it’s gradually decrease the volume and one day it will be dead project. But short term trading there are no require for large volume because here you need which one is very fast moving coin and such as absolutely profitable in short time. Personally i don’t care top ranking coin and little volume when i start trading. I don’t prefer very new coin in trading which is high risky.                          

People are buying tokens to make money from them in 1 week or so in the form of profits. People buy tokens during ICOs or early listing on exchanges and hold for a small period of time and then sell them for profits. during ICOs the tokens are cheap or sometimes when a token got listed on an exchange the price is cheap, after certain days the price will double or more and that is the time to sell for profits.   

I think the most reasonable reason to buy a new altcoin in the market is the coin or token created by trusted team member and bring pure ideas with newest technology and features too my friend

If you happen to choose old altcoin at a wrong time, and you expected to gain profit within a short span of time you might end up frustrated. As been said, short term isn't a right way to make it, because planning it for long term investment is one way to let those old coins establish a profitable value in the future.

There are trader who often to buy new coins because of speculations. They have hope that they will get high return because they expect that the coin that they bought will become expensive.

I believe the main reason of investing in a new token is all because of the profit you can derive
Buying a promising token during ieo especially; can give you x5 profit if you follow the progress and development well

But still; you really need to do your research and get basic facts right to avoid rekt

of course, if we can choose the right altcoin my friend,
but if we drop our money to a wrong coins, we will lose our money too

I like that idea buying token or coin not listed in the exchnage, but I tell frankly I am not trying for that idea to buy token or coin. It to much risky it's gamble.



Yeah speculations is very powerful to encourage people to invest, but for me better to learn well before taking the risk.

Personally I like pos tokens so I can invest in them and project when I break even. After breaking even it doesn't matter since it's smooth sailing and pure profits. I use these new tokens that I have staked to trade on the market for better tokens which have lasting value and to build up those coffers.

I also will invest in projects that I feel will make it or at least have a decent shot at it. If there is an already established projecrt I feel I can profit further from I will invest more then usual.

Buying new tokens that are already listed on the exchange for trading is a good way to get profit. But, not all tokens will have the potential to benefit, we need to follow updates on the token and see the price movements from day to day and its volume. If we think buying it for trading can give us a profit, then do it and I only recommend not to trade in large quantities.

Most investors do not always focus on investing one coin, including I like to invest randomly. I mean investing with various old altcoins or new tokens that have been listed on the exchange. I believe that every choice I make is a form of investment to make a profit. I think all investors are like that.

I personally invest in new tokens because of the next altcoin season, i belief new altcoin coins will bring higher profits than old altcoins, i feel like we have see the highest that altcoin can go but new altcoins  that are blessed with better versions of features will return the four figure x ROI

Obviously we already know that many new tokens are very inconclusive and many are scams. so I agree with your opinion to refrain from playing on the new token and wait in the future, when crypto starts to get excited again.

the reason I buy coins / tokens is because I want to take short-term profits because by listing their coins / tokens on the market exchange, a number of people will compete to buy coins / tokens hoping to keep going up, but don't just randomly buy a token / coin because we can be played with by developers whose coins / tokens have not been locked for a number of years, we could lose money because of the developer, try to buy coins / tokens first look at the roadmap and whitepaper of the project.

Short term playing in the market are more effective during bear market and this is why many investors are looking for a new good coin to buy for. I personally bought new coins and sold it right after the exchange listing, no matter what I gain I'm still happy because its a good profit for me. We need to take care on buying new coins because it can be a scam and you will lose the money you invest in.

in general, investing in crypto currencies with any coin must have confidence and patience with the coins we will use in investing and as investors should be clever in utilizing every opportunity we will get in choosing coins that will benefit in investing, the right speculation will get the right benefits too and certainly the expected benefits

It depends on what are you intending to do with the coin. If you like the project and you trust them then you should hodl and keep an eye on the project.

There are a lot of factors that are influencing investors decision. First of all, I am looking at the industry and if there is a place for a blockchain based competitor. Secondly, It is very important for a new project to have an existing product and a competent team members to lead the project to their goals.

Personally, I think that a new coin or token is very interesting. Since now all the fans of cryptocurrency. Very closely follow the events in the world of cryptocurrency. And just how a new coin appears, the price of a coin is very low at first and there is a chance that in the future this coin or token will bring tremendous profit.

All tokens were created because of the platform or project behind it, if many are using the platform like Binance they are going to buy more of these coins/tokens or it is getting a lot of support from the community, the purpose of all the tokens in the market is to have usage and if they do not have a roadmap and they are not following the roadmap, then this tokens are useless and worth nothing.

But for me, trading a new coin is not worth because my first time buying a new coin gives me losses and gives me a hard time to gain it all back, that is why i now trade with coins that has a good value.

They do arbitrage, where they buy one coin from one exchange to trade in one exchange that has a much higher price than where they bought it, and many traders are involved on this kind of activity because there is a profit to be made here, but you have to have big funds and fast connection to do this.

im not a risk taker so i wont go on new coin/token but i will just stick on my safe zone so i go on older coins  .  btc is the older of them all so i believe that btc is also the safest of them all only in my preference but you are free to disagree with that  . other reason why a person buy a new coin is not only for the profit but also for the curiosity or also for the boredom of same old investments   .

Reason for trading. In year 2018 when market was fully down i made daily trade to buy and sell altcoins from exchanger. This is alternative way of earn from crypto. But have to more careful and need accurate information before buy and sell any tokens from market. Sometimes company gives honorarium who stock holder of their tokens. This is several reasons that anybody buy tokens.

Maybe we can buy a new token or coins because we want to trade it and we all know that new token or coins are no sureness in trading because after a months or a year many new coins or token are goes in dead coins. So makr it sure that if you gonna buy new coins or token u gonna sell it once the price goes up so that you can get a profit.
