I used to gamble a lot starting from 2005. I will share some useful tips for a newbie gamblers.

1. Do not deposit anything, before your account is not fully verified. Because any bookie will accept your bet without verifying your account, but if you win and request a withdrawal, they will refuse and ask you for verification. You might not pass it for a lot of reasons, like bettors from your country are not allowed to use that bookie, or the documents provided by you are not acceptable e.t.c...

2. Do not bet a big amount of money, because if you will win, bookie will use all tricks to not pay you big amount of winning. Most common reasons you will hear are multi accounting, fraudulent activity, incorrect bets, e.t.c.. They will simply block your account and confiscate all your money. In some cases bookie might return only your bet amount and refuse to pay winnings.

3. Do not be fooled by some kinds of "Super Promotions" like "Place multi bet that will include not less that 4 positions with minimal odd 1.4 and if only one position loose we will return you the half amount of the bet" Multiply bets gives a big advantage to bookmaker because the possibility of win in case of 4 multi bets is equal to 20% or even less. Also avoid any kind of bonuses, because if you will accept them, you will find out that 4 rollovers bets are required to get 100% of offered bonus. Any promotion or bonuses offered by bookmakers are nothing but a way to force you loose more of your money.

4. Avoid playing slots, because all slot games are pre-programmed to 80/20% in the bookies favor.

5. Avoid to accept so called casino bonuses that are offered by bookmakers, that have integrated casinos, in addition to sports betting. Because, some of them can actually confiscate any money you try to withdraw before you will satisfy the bonus “terms and conditions”

6. Sometimes you may see that all poker tables are busy or a lot of players are online playing different games. Don't be fooled. A lot of bookies are using pre-programmed bots to create a fake buzz and make you believe that a lot of gamblers are betting big amount of money and their platform is very popular.

7. Always play only for fun. Bet only what you can afford to lose.

You forgot to emphasize gambling using bots or any way of automated gambling. It can be successful in short therm, but at the end casino always win.

Also if you cant find it, some gambling platform have a chatroom went we can ask their service without making an account. Just chat them asking about the term.

About winning big, the answer "YES" some gambling site like Cloudbet went we win a big money they will try to see the account activity and make us for doing a KYC for the account. I read some case about some player win more than 300 BTC and Cloudbet hold it the fund went he already do all process verification activity + hiring a lawyer just for the withdrawal.

Just a simple tips, before playing feel and think if you are in good condition to play, and before playinv make sure you know what game you are going to play and dont bet too high because it also increase the risk, and if you lose continously stop and calm down rest for a bit and concentrate again to refresh your mind and be in compose.

Its better to play on sports betting gambling website it is fair and square no one can control the outcome and cannot be programmed but I'm not discouraging anyone not to play those I played it myself just for fun.

I can relate to the first tip. One time I deposited around 0.1 btc on an dice betting site, I took a big risk and played all at one go with around a 60% chance. God so kind, I won at my first trial. Now the real hurdle was to withdraw it. I didn't plan to play again after my win because I didn't want to get too greedy. Yes, these kind of guidelines for safe gambling is not at all new for this community as we have been seeing lots of experienced gamblers sharing such tips from their real experience at the same time new and old gamblers gamble on their own and losing their hard earned money also happening more often. I believe any kind of such tip may work only for some sort of people and may not work for most of other gamblers. Emphasizing about gambling only for fun must be a good tip in my  opinion too. Because, if we start gambling only for fun then we may not be a regular to gambling then we can stay away from gambling as long as we prefer to.

Regarding how much you play with I think you should first analyse the bookmaker. So if it is a big popular casino probably it won't deny your winnings if you're playing with 1 BTC or so, but if you are dealing with smaller casinos aka bucket shops which offer a lot of bonuses, facilities, etc. then be very careful and test the waters before putting more. Well, this is very important even though not in a gambling site. All stated by OP has a good point and that was true. You should know this stuff once you are a gambler. Not just you are a good gambler but when it comes to your self you can perfectly managing on it.

This isn't applicable to me, especially at high bets. I'm serious if I have an active bet at high bets and all my bets are well-analyzed as much as I can.

Well, to be honest I know some people that are professional gamblers. They always bet only on  one game and not less than 2000 USD. All of them are using so called martingale 3.2 % strategy. Great tips there mate. Disciplined newbies out there and not those who play gambling out of greed will surely follow this. The problem with newbies is that when they win it was all fun and it drives to bet even more. But once you lose and it continuously happened they tend to forget what was to follow. They forget to control themselves just to reached how much has been lost to equally gain it to the point that become worse and worse.

Exactly they will come up with a story for their loss and will say they freezed funds for no reason but on most cases they may violated their terms with or without his knowledge for that reading their TOS is important and the time spend also can be a factor not only associated with the funds losing or winning but they are doing something for very long time which could be called as addiction.

Actually, I think I have to disagree with rule number 5. Although most casino bonuses are actually intended to make you lose money in the long run, it's actually possible to benefit from these if you're careful.

I experienced this already ! and guys I think you should follow this one, you need to verify your account first, pass all the requirements especially that ID Card that is needed to verify youself, I forgot to do this one then guess what happen, I lose my fund ,it is good that that is only a small amount because I did not pass that verification process, they did not acknowledge my ID, I need to get passport which I do not have so that I could withdraw my winnings, it is a lesson to me. Some casinos have designed the rollover such that if you choose those bonuses you are almost certain that you lost your money, I will not accuse them but I feel that bitcasino have some of the most high wagering bonus where I remember once I opted for a bonus and it's nearly impossible to roll over those requirements because they count roll-over 100% on slots only other games have 10-20% roll over count which makes it even harder.

Very important for a new gambler I agree that you know when to stop, because gambling is such a difficult addiction it does not hurt you so much that it makes you feel bad but with time it will get worse like it did for me but thankfully i was not into too much of a trouble.

Some tips for a new gambler or a newbie

- Try to always withdraw your money, no matter how much you won unless you have withdrawn the money is still not yours.
