Today I've decided to sell my car to invest in IEO or ICO.
Is my decision right?
Is it with a lot of investing in IEO can refund my money?

I think your decision is ridiculous, why sell cars to invest in IEO or ICO?
Have you found a project that you will invest in? travel cars go on family trips why sell them? There are still many ways to get capital here with a variety of campaigns, I just suggest not investing in IEO is not good, look for coins that already have potential in the market.

There are good IEO but most of them are not really good which is why most of the investors aren't into IEO unless its done by reputable exchanges. Its been suggested to just invest instead to coins on top. Since OP is new I believe he isn't a trader so the top projects is where anyone can profit in the long run as a holder. You have sold you car for this venture so you might as well make sure its worth while. You make sure there is no scammer who will sure you to any new projects.

I agree.  I wouldn't even sell my car or take out a loan or anything else to buy bitcoin, much less one of the above things.  Hopefully op didn't need his automobile and hopefully it wasn't worth that much.

Never sell physical goods to buy crypto, that's what I would recommend.  Back in 2017 I read several threads here about people who were selling any number of things in order to buy bitcoin...at its market top no less.  This always confused me.  Not the passion for crypto, but the willingness to give up tangible things in order to possess something that couldn't get any more intangible.  And these were things that people would probably want, like houses and the like.  I just don't get it.

If you are lucky enough, yes you can get an easy ROI participating in the IEO.
But I do not recommend it because it is very risky to do. Even if you are participating in Binance, Okex, and Huobi IEO, it is possible for you to lose your money.
And do not participate in the ICO because all of them will be failed, there is no exception for ICO in 2019.

From my point of view, your decision is unwise. Always invest using the extra money, because you can afford to lose it if something goes wrong.

IEOs are kinda just hype tho, there's no guarantees in an ICO/IEO, except one thing: The exchange and project will make money :P
I dont personally follow per-say any of them, its just waiting to see what exchanges offer and researching the project seeing if its worthy of my time/money

Its better to choose a coin that is already in the market than gamble your hard earn money to new project.
Investing in ICO will be your worst decision if you do.
IEO - theres is no guarantees profit but we know that more of the first running IEO has been successful and investors earn enough profit with it, if you do choose popular exchange if you want to invest.

wow, it's been a long time since I heard of someone selling an asset they have for cryptocurrency. it will be thrilling when it's your valuable asset, but it doesn't matter if you have a lot of cars.

just a suggestion, for the time being there is no IEO that is good enough that I have seen, besides the Hawk network the reason is because it has been confirmed to list in one of the 10 top markets, and has a partnership with a group that is currently developing, and also companies from swiss. if you are in doubt about that, I suggest waiting for IEO on binance, Huobi, Okex, and BW. don't let the car you have sold become useless.

Maybe OP still have extra car, but even though selling a property for investing in an ICO or IEO in this market condition is really not a good decision unless he really have new car or didn't need longer his car since ICO and IEO isn't performing well at this time. Very bad decision. You might need your car. Remember to invest money you can afford to lose. A well-researched and well-placed investment can bring you 100x in profits but of course out of 3,000 coin projects, only 10 of them can be true gems. There are IEO/ICO with refunds.

Perhaps he wants to follow the footsteps of CZ who acclaimedly sold his house to invest in Bitcoin. But guess the key word there, its "bitcoin" but lad wants to invest in altcoins. While I think the decision is daring, Its still foolish. Because altcoins mostly are profit driven investments for the developers and besides, cryptocurrency investment is best advice to be done with spare cash.

For now the coast is not yet clear for me to invest in any ICO and IEO having been a keen follower of them for some times, since last year only few of them survive the harsh market conditions of cryptos, those ICOs hardly reach Soft Cap likewise Hard Cap, Selling your car now to invest in them might not be the right decision, alternatively you should have invested some part of fund at least to lower your risk rather than the whole lot which is more riskier.

It all depends on where you are investing and whether it is worth investing there ,one thing for sure is investing in famous coin that have become the choice of everyone ,well ieo/ico has become a common problem so the risk will always be there hope more careful

ICO or IEO are not something you are investing into. You are investing into project that is raising money via ico/ieo. So it's a pure lottery with this information and i would advice against that. May i ask what do you want from a project you are investing into and what do you consider as good enough fundamentals? Those are the the questions you should ask from yourself.

To return the money I think can be more and your money can be lost, I just want to suggest using that money in a real project if indeed you want to invest, and before doing it on the project it would be better for you to know all parties in the project so that events the unwanted thing is not facing you.

Well it comes for me ill think its not good idea to sell a car for investing IEO or ICO.
Their are a lots of way on how to invest but don't sell a important thing you have. But it depends on you if this is the right way on how to earn for investing just do it and make sure the ICO or IEO you invest it is a trusted. I think depends a lot on the project you are investing in because if it is a project that people are interested in, your chances of making a profit will be much higher. In fact I recommend you join IEO at the top exchanges because it's the fastest way to make a profit and don't have to wait too long. I have been involved in many major IEO projects and some projects helped me to achieve 500% profit in just a few days.

Sell car to invest is really a risky decision but if you want to invest, you should only choose IEO at major exchanges such as Okex, Huobi, Gate, Kucoin because it is a place to get rich for you.

Some icos are worth to invest but it's hard to select which ico that brings profits at the end. But for IEO especially on top exchange like binance or huobi the token's price must be pumped out after the IEO but the IEO token is limited and it's not easy to get it. We have to be lucky and we have to hold many of the token's exchange like bnb to increase our chance to get the token when IEO held

First things first. Don't ever invest your life's savings, emergency money, educational fund, etc., in Stocks, Cryptos, Forex, Commodities, Precious Metals, or anything that is speculative and has huge open interest in Futures and Options markets. Invest only your entertainment money in such speculative instruments.

Its really bad decisioon actually when you want investing in ICO, because ICO is not save and a lot of scammer there,  IEO is much better because listing in exchange but i suggest you to join IEO in binance some expert says its good for short term investment.

Whether your decision is right or not, I hope you already know the risk. As for ICOs, quite a big no for now. And for IEOs, well the last few Ieos was kinda weak. Their ROI aint that high.

If you want to take risk then you can go for it! Because it is very needed in investment as every investment has a risk! I hope you will get a good ROI and that will be huge if you participate in a better exchange's IEO. I would suggest you, keep looking at Binance, Kucoin and Gateio presented IEO, follow their rules to participate, because history says all of their IEO participants got a very good profit, so why you not!

A big risk and don’t have any guaranteed to make money. If you do really sell your Car then use it to buy more bitcoin because bitcoin is the top choice for everybody and you must have that. IEO is still not sure profit to you, if you don’t want to regret selling your Car i would go for top 100 coins and wait for the bull market.

I agree with you! Choosing an ICO project to invest by selling a car is a suicidal decision! Though every ICO projects are not a scam but yes every ICO investment will occur your money loss! So, better the OP should only invest in Binance or Gateio or even Kucoin organized IEO!

Well, I should have asked first. Is that your one and only car? If that is, and that car is important to you and your family or your work, what you did was wrong. But if your car is your spare one, then it was a considered a wise decision. Instead of having a spare and idle car at your garage, it is better to invest it in Bitcoin. It might afford you a couple of lambo soon. But always take into consideration the risk.

IEO is good selection right now specially launch by big exchange since they are the one can be called a little bit trusted by now since the other IEO is totally risky. And also with ICO's I think this is a dead investment and not worth to go since there so many failed project conducted ato many scams executed so we must step out on this option.

I've stopped following IEOs (It's been over a year since I got involved with an ICO). The last IEO I got involved in is Elrond IEO on Binance Launchpad. I stopped following IEOs because they stopped being profitable and there's too much risks associated with using holding exchange tokens during that period. They tend to lose value. For instance, during the holding period of any binance IEO, BNB losses at least 10% and what's worse is that you might still not get in the IEO

Your decision will be right if you are able to invest in the next Binance/Huobi/oKex/Gateio/Kucoin IEO projects. I would suggest you, please don't invest in any ICO projects in this current situation, you will get rekt if you do that! People were very excited that Ferrum ICO will change the negative vibe from the ICO, people were investing thereby competing others! But in the end, Ferrum ICO investors lost and no profits gain at all! So, selling the car, you are taking a high risk, so spend your money wisely!

Investing on those IEO from exchanges are gonna be sure profits, but getting the IEO token is not an easy task.

Firstly, I respect the part of you planning to invest in crypto but I want you to know that investing the number of funds you can't afford to lose in cryptocurrency is not advisable and IEO or ICO investment is not profitable these days, so your decision is not right. If you are selling your car to use the proceeds to invest in an IEO or ICO, you should have just sold it and use the money to host a party at your home. The latter would have made you a better friend. The former will not make you rich, after all. The latter will make you rich with friends. This is not a wise idea. That is my point. If your car is your necessity then you make a wrong decision, you are gambling your convenient to crypto which we know there is no guarantee we will end always up profitable.

It depends in what are you thinking, if you have another car or thing in mind that it is not the only way for you to have some money to invest i think it good to risk your money in investment that can somehow make your money doubled or tripled. Your decision to sell a car and invest in crypto is quite serious. But it must be remembered to hang fate like that just as we bet, and you must already know about the risks in crypto where all of that is not yet certain. I have followed several ICOs and IEOs, all of which do not necessarily produce according to the expected expectations. My advice is if your car is bought for free, then investing in crypto is better, but if you buy the car with the hard money from your work then it should be reconsidered.

I am very careful in choosing IEO or ICO projects. Finally, I only invested in ONE IEO in Binance and ICO BCNEX. now I am still enjoying my daily trading and holding bitcoin and ethereum because I have not found the best ICO or IEO investment at the moment.

I think what the OP need to understand very is the risk involve in crypto investment and the saying "never the amount you can't afford to loose". However, ICO and IEO invest currently don't yield a good result and the best the OP need to do is to invest in coin already listed on capital market which are not centralized.

I think your attitude is too excessive by making decisions without having to look deeper into each ICO or IEO project, I make sure that the IEO and ICO promoted on this forum have not fully looked good and successful

The time when people used to become rich by investing in ICO is far gone, now most of the ICO are complete scam and it will ruin you if you invest in them. Now what you should do is that you should find a coin that you think will outperform the market and will surely rise in price and invest in that.
Also trading is a very risky task but if done correctly done then it can give you immense profit in short amount of time.

Really it’s a worst decision because i think it’s likes nonsense activity. ICO already dying from the last year because it’s totally IEO market. I think right now there are no too much reliable IEO projects in my looking. But you can wait for good movement in the cryptocurrency market than you will go with some legitimate IEO projects which will be launch from bigger exchanges such as Binance,OkEx,Bittrex etc. There are no guaranteed your investment money will be refund because if anyhow project will go to scam.                                 

I am following a really nice one right now called RIWIGO, I made a%video on it as well because I really think this one has promise because they are already an established business and gone past the start up phase and they have established a large clientele already. They are only selling 255 of their tokens in the IEO so they really don't need this money like normal startups do and their soft cap is 0, so whatever they sell, they sell, it will just help with their expansion into other countries. the only choice he has at the moment is to do really in-depth research on the ICO or IEO that he will support. looking at the current situation, I suggest focussing on choosing the IEO project. Until now people have been racing to invest in IEO in popular markets, especially binance. However, even if it is binance, you need to do research on the project. however, selling real-life assets for crypto investments is quite thrilling. if it's something that is valuable to you, make sure you invest in the right place.

IEOs are way more secured than ICO. ICOs today are just Moneygrab scheme. I don't waste my time on ICOs because they just can't afford to land it to decent Exchange. iEOs can be easily a successful crowdfunding because tokens are easily sold out. But not all IEOs are successful tho. It's because the Exchange they conducted IEO was not a huge Exchange at all. So always buy on reputable Exchanges like Binance or Kucoin.

You sold your car for IEO and ICO? Its too risky not unless your Car is old and better to sell. Some IEO succeed on their project but still most of them are not so if you are planning to invest on a crowdsourcing then choose the very best because you took a big risk on that. Are you sure? then what about the case of the IEO token that was registered in the exchange after IEO was finished and their developer disappeared? if it is felt to be safer, I think there will be many successful projects this year with their IEO sales. but in reality, you can see that not many are successful with IEO. some projects are successful, but not in large numbers.

I do not follow much IEO or ICO. even now I don't do both and focus more on trading in the market. not only because of the many scams but not many new coins that can survive in the market now. even some there is no development after 1 year of the project running. indeed not all projects are like that, but you can see most existing projects like that.

It depends on what exchanges that held IEO itself, if the IEO held in big exchanges like okeX, huobi, binance i'm sure they will be very sucessful because of the demands of those IEO tokens are high and the price must be hihger after it officially listed on the exchanges. But some exchanges are held IEO with bad projects and also some of them are paid projects that can be list on their exchange. So, even an IEO will be listed on an exchange after it held, we still have to be do more research about the project before we investing

They are all will be successful on Exchange Offering but it doesnt mean it will also be succesful when the trading start. It will all depends how the project can maintain the trust from thier investors and how they will solve the plan they are making before and if they can really manage to do what is in the roadmap.

Yes, till now the IEO's listed on the Binance exchanges have already proven and has given huge profit to the investors. That's why we should always invest in potential exchange like Binance, Kucoin etc. Definitely we are going to make some profit on our investment, it is a completely bad idea to invest in ICO's.

Of course, any IEO project at the top exchanges like Binance, Gate, Huobi has achieved great success and does not need to study too much because each exchange will have a team and must pass a lot of new tests listed here. Currently IEO is considered to be a good choice for all investors and this trend is getting a lot of attention so I hope that IEO can replace all ICO in the next few years.

Immakillya, IEOs are NOT way more secured than ICOs, all that IEOs do is ensure you have tokens waiting to be listed but if you have paid attention to the past few IEOs not on Binance, you'd realize that all you gained from IEOs verses ICOs is that you can dump them... for less than 10% of their original value on day 1.

I think your words are just a clickbait, I'm not sure you will sell cars just to invest in IEO.. selling your car to invest in an IEO at a time when people's confidence in ICO or IEO is on the decline is a bad decision.

100-200% ROI is the result that you will get if you are lucky to invest in a good IEO, and the problem now is the opportunity to find the right IEO is very small, even the IEO held at Binance may not necessarily be able to return and give you a large profit.

IMO.. you better register in an online taxi (uber, lyft, or other) then set aside $ 100- $ 200/month to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or Binance Coin.

Will you share what IEO or ICO you are investing, you must really be confident with your investment for you to sell your car for crypto.
One person I know who is very successful now is CZ, he sold his house for BTC but you are making your own journey, so good luck and hope for your success, but personally, I would not take that kind of risk if I have to invest, I still follow the golden rule which is to invest what you can afford only.

I don't know if he's thinking it wisely. He probably knows the risk of investing in the IEO or ICO project but maybe he is possibly right also if a certain project could give him assurance for market return and could be profitable enough more than the price of his car. only following IEO that are really good in my opinion i mean you can actually follow all of the IEOs if possible but it would waste so much time because some of them would scam you and steal your money and will prefer ieo over ico because you still get the money even its lower

You and I know that this cannot be true which I see as the most stupid decision in this period that virtually all IEO are facing lost of doubt from investors and we only have few projects that are really worth any money we have in it. Instead of selling your property which I would not advise, you could have just look for every possible means to look for money that is little to invest in it.

If you had even thought of placing the money in bitcoin, it would have been fair because now that bitcoin is $9k, there is no way that it would not have grown to $16k within the next 6 months, so you can still have your money back and still have some profits on it, but to say IEO and ICO, it is going to be very difficult for you to recover your money except maybe you are very lucky with it.

How we can still get the money when we invested more than our sell results, that means we experienced a loss. IEO on big exchanges are really recommended to buy but the difficulty of obtaining the tokens is hard and sometimes we have to hold the exchange owned coin to join the IEO and the chance of getting the IEO coin is higher if we have much the exchange own tokens.
ICO is still worth also but we have to be really careful choosing the ICO becuase the rate of legit ICO and scam ICO is like 1:500 in this current condition

I think you have enough money to invest after selling it and you are taking a huge risk as well .I think it should better to buy btc and top altcoins instead of invest on IEO/ICO .So think once again and make a few study before invest.

I would vouch for bitcoin and top altcoin as well because it's a huge risk to go for ICO/IEOs wherein most of the projects either fails or paused or gets launched at small exchange without any volume and gets sold at almost zero. It's not an appropriate time to experiment with fund by investing into ICOs or IEOs.

I am only following a few because most of the projects have extended their campaign period which make it hard to participate to multiple projects. I am eyeint onto some projects due to their popularity but investing to those projects is not my priority at this moment because of the current market situation. Maybe waiting for a little longer would be a better idea than to rush out of the assumptions of the majority. Being patient qould make us safe from regrets in the first place.

IEO is actually safer than ICOs and has a huge advantage in investing if you choose a good project to join. As I know, big exchanges like Binance, Huobi, Kucoin have an IEO every month and if the opportunity to participate, the opportunity to earn profits will be very high because any project makes investors happy. I personally always spend 30% of my assets to join IEO because I believe this is the only way to make money in this market.

Of course you don't need to spend too much time waiting because that coin is usually listed immediately and has very high trading volume on the first day. You should sell as soon as possible and absolutely should not hold in the long term.

I followed many  ico and IEO because i just joined in thier bounty campaign but out of 20  of the projects ive supported only 2 of them has become successful. So better to make a research before investing in a project.

I think it is not worth for now, a lot of ICO and IEO always end with people and their losses. If want to make investment, maybe in bitcoin or coin that already have good reputation. Maybe speculate in ICO is good for some people, but risk behind it is big too.

It is very hard to earn money on crypto market at the moment and I believe this down trend would last for a year or two. No altcoin is raising whatever happens, so invest in BTC, but do not sell it until 2023.

Good for you. From my perspective, i am not following any coin at the moment besides bitcoin movement in the market. The last IEO i participated was Harmony. I won a lottery ticket and cashed out at x7. Since then, i have lost all or most of the money holding bnb whike trying to get into elrond and finally Perlin. So i am currently on a break to re-evaluate my stance. If you find a good IEO like One, then it will be a worthwhile investment for you

So many sites have made comparison which is the profitable funding investment right now between IEO and ICO. that must be clear about that.

If follow means make investment maybe 2 local ICO, Futurax and Waletoken. And both already be dead coins. I think some developers need to make research or we as investor must know what actually that developers aim. Both of project that i joined, revealed that actually have 1 developers, only use other people to act as CEO. The stupidest thing to do when you want to join the ICO is to sell your car or personal property. The risks of ICO and IEO are very large. It would be good if you joined IEO at big exchanges like Okex or Binance because these are often places that are very much interested by investors and some projects here have helped investors make a lot of profit.  Any new project needs careful research but if you have joined IEO at a large exchange then this is not necessary because that exchange will do it for you.

Agree. At the moment there are no good projects to be of interest to us at this time as IEO projects at large exchanges are often very difficult to participate in and rely heavily on luck. I think we should stop investing during this time and look for a better way to find a new one as the bear market is still making the situation worse. Quality always has advantages in front of quantity. It is much more efficient to spend some time by analysing projects and making a good investment decision, rather than to blindly invest in every project that appears here.

It is not guarantee, when I look to the coins who have been successful to launch through IEO/ICO its price just will give you a profit for short time, so I will doubt you will get your all money back. Yes, you are right, people are not investing in IEO on blind manners because now people are already matured, which they are researching a lot about the project before investing. I have personally experienced some of the friends researching about the project by personally visiting them during at the time of the conferences.

After icos we had ieos and I'm sure that in a few years were going to have something else and people are going to get hyped about it and a few lucky investors are going to make huge profits but the rest like always are going to lose their money, eventually the market runs out of fools to scam and that is why those forms of raising money are abandoned because no one is willing to lose money in those kind of investments anymore, that should be obvious by now but people keep investing in those type of projects.

Is not a good decision, i will never sell something to invest on IEO or ICOs, i only invest a small % of money some years ago on a ICO but i will now don't do same thing because is hard for me to know what ICO to choose because some people never recover and make profit on the ICOs they invested.

I have following with many ICO and IEO but not all investment give me profit, I am not worried with many ICO have faced with scam and lost money because my investment source from with bounty campaign and airdrop project, I think can take profit again by joining with bounty campaign and invest with trusted ICO project.

You can sell your car to buy BTC and altcoin to hold. But you should not sell cars to invest in IEO because it is too dangerous, your money can be cleanly lost if you invest in the IEO scam project. He's probably not going to listen, as you say there are particular moments in the market in which it can be incredibly profitable to invest in ieos or icos but this is not one of those moments, as traders we need two different kind of skills in order to be profitable, the most obvious one is that you need to be able to increase the size of your capital when the conditions of the market are favorable, but the second one and the one that most people do not really appreciate is the ability to protect your capital when the market is going down, and right now we are in a stage in the market in which you need to protect yourself and your capital.

I have to admit that there is less scams, but there is also almost no good projects. I think that good projects that would be worth watching are waiting for a better market situation and in my opinion it is very good decision.

The best time to invest is always in a bear market, i do not support investing in shit coins and IEO projects as the market is just a pump and dump scheme as there is no project that is going to be successful and even if there are the percentage of successful projects are really low and hence the risk is really huge as an investor, i would invest during this bear market in bitcoin and a couple of other forks and ten percentage in top altcoins.

Of course, the old saying of investors is to invest when the market is bleeding. However, ICO and IEO market are something completely different. These are projects that are not yet on exchange and have not even been created yet. Unfortunately, but the bleeding market is deadly for them. None. I don't usually mess with ICO and IEO's. Most of them turn out to be scams and the ones that aren't usually just tank in price whenever they hit an exchange. Unless there's some way that I don't know about of trading them for a profit before an exchange, it's just not worth the trouble and potential losses of messing with them. I stick with established coins in the top 20 on coinmarketcap and I do just fine with those.

You make a good point but this is not applicable to every project and the last time i checked most project which are already in the market then later launch an ICO or IEO usually thrive. An example is MMOcoin which was so cheap through it ICO last year if i can still remember and clinch $1 price range this year.

Many project fail to meet the roadmap requirement, fail with product release, fail in build community and now investors are smart, they just invest in project with good perform for guarantee profit.

You have good observations and analysis. Both are 2 projects that have bright prospects, and project one is an example of IEO which I think is successful. I remember SERO and Tokoin, even though both of them had a good start, but now it's hard to maintain their performance.

ICO's are not working these days because there is neither investors nor strong idea for a concept. Harmony was the only IEO I followed and invested little in my portfolio. I used to follow lots of ICO and IEO but I found out that it is just a waste of time.  Instead of following new projects, I started to follow old projects with strong community and developers.  At least this cryptocurrency project had already established its ground and have delivered majority of their goals.  It also enable me to take advantage of hypes and fuds because it is already trading in the market.

At the moment it is really hard to find a good project that is likely to succeed. I even stopped looking and checking new projects, because at one point I had the impression that I was wasting my time.

I'm not following any ICO or IEO right now because most of them are just scam and the legit projects are really hard to find, if im gonna ever follow a project i would rather follow a STO instead of ICO and IEO because the chance of getting scam is lower because of government regulation and the token is backed by some assets so dumps won't happen.
