Crypto in 2020 will find itself bullish. Many speculations say 2020 will be an exciting year for its holders, but I'm here to think positively just investing in crypto is much better, and in 2020 will face halving for bitcoin and this will certainly affect the price of other crypto.

Many people speculate like that, crypto will rise in the coming year. But all these speculations are not necessarily true because the crypto market is currently still suffering. bitcoin prices are still not stable and later in May 2020 there will be halving bitcoin. Maybe this will have an effect. Holding some altcoin and bitcoin for now is still possible and held until the market improves.

I don't think in time soon there will be stability in the market value of crypto currency as a result of the influence by the force that usually influence crypto market values, if it will ever happen.
To OP, there are strong speculation that after halving come year 2020 there will be an increase in the market of of Bitcoin and that will affect positively on all other altcoins and I so much believe in this speculation and that is why am still holding my ethereum and other altcoins.

So many speculations saying that in the coming year we're going to see another bull run for major coins. Such as bitcoin and other promising altcoins. I do hope it's true, cannot really say which one will has a great future, we'll only know when we get there. But as you've said many experts predicted that way. Well, it is only predictions so they could be wrong. I do have a few altcoins on my list that caught my attention, but really, I could only hoping for a better outcome later.

I think you and we live in different worlds. There is no such thing as booming for cryptocurrencies right now. And even as a result of the decline in the Bitcoin price, there is a general decline.

Yes there is a lot of speculation about the future of bitcoin but at the moment it is still not predictable which is more correct because prices continue to fluctuate, many people expect halving to happen soon but prices are still not showing its good, and other altcoins are still under market pressure downtrend.

I do not think privacy coin will boom in 2020 considering the government takes about this kind of project and always associated with money laundering or criminal activity, plus there is a requirement for every exchange to comply with their AMLD 5. what is the point of using it?
Dapps and DEX project seem like have a brighter future compared to the others, especially the platform that offers it such as ethereum.

Dapps is still lack of adoption consider about none of them are offering something useful. Mostly dapps are based on the gambling and exchange site. The dapps that offers utility usage is very rare.
Based on the crypto council rating site and there was only a few coins that meet the requirement to be called as utility coins. This rating use SEC's regulation as the main framework.

I think altcoin in the table of 100 coinmarketcap will still dominate the biggest market in 2020 and still be the top.Maybe there will be coins / tokens from new markets like BNB tokens which will penetrate to top 100 in 2020.I see there are many market projects that have appear up now.

Don't want myself turn blinded by an incoming oppotunities in 2020. Halving is near to come that never failed to leave us a bull run right after that. Huge companies are starts to adopt crypto currency such as starbucks based from the article I recently read, blockchain adoption by coca-cola. Demand could turn out to be good in 2020. Although it usually happens when year near to end, people claim that the following year will be good and usually they failed, and I don't wanna reconsider that fact and be just optimistic.

I think you're right that bitcoin will increase next year but I disagree with the ripple here, As far as I know it's a centralized coin and at any time the developer could have manipulated the price. I also think bitcoin's partners in price increases are ethereum, litecoin, and many other reputable coins.

We are in the last quarter of this year and I'm not yet satisfied with the current state of different cryptocurrencies because some of them are still down. I have ripple and ethereum in my wallet and I really hope that several predictions on the price will come true this coming year. Top cryptocurrency for this coming year 2020 maybe it still bitcoin on rank 1 and maybe ripple will take the rank 2 in coinmarketcap.

For me the top projects for 2020 with potential for huge gains are

1. Bitcoin because of the coming halving
2. All BTC forks BCsah and BSV
3. BNB: next year coming halving with potential spike in volume is likely going to increase volume on Binance and more demand for BNB tokens

It's a very dependable prediction for everybody because we know that bitcoin will always be on the good side. The top altcoins can go either with bitcoin but not every one of these altcoins can also go up. I'm more than positive for 2020 since this year is about to end, I think that it will become a better year for crypto.

I thing that in top should be Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. Also Binance always will be top. Some new projects can also enter top 100 or top 10.

the crypto space is still wide open, so there is hope for old coins like btc, eth, xrp ltc, or bnb,etc. to continue to grow and raise their prices again in 2020 or the following year. and I am personally convinced that in 2020 we will witness that cryptoqurrency will become a profitable investment again as it did in 2017.

As for 2020, BTC would be the logical choice for top crypto due to the halvening, but who knows really. Perhaps the big coin next year hasn't even been released yet.

You have an excellent point about coins that trade on multiple exchanges, and that's something I've thought of before.  It's extremely risky to buy a coin like RDD when there are only a small number of exchanges that sell it, and yobit is apparently one that passively delisted it since the RDD wallet has been in maintenance mode for a long time and I don't expect it to come back online again.  If you can't sell your coin, you're screwed.

The older coins you mentioned have always been solid except for doge.  Tho I actually like the coin, there's too much supply and I doubt it's going to see many gains.  And if it does, they probably won't last as history has shown us.  There are others like Dash, Monero and Neo that will probably do well in 2020 if there's a resurgence in the altcoin market which remains to be seen.  I'm hoping for that but anything is possible.

2020 will be full of surprises, most of the coin that raised fund will start next year on good note. Some low cap project will be noticed and will enjoy some interest from investors. Regulation will favour some investment from Asia especially, and crypto curency from Asia will bring fund to the space. Institutions are building strategies to engage token economics that wont rely on bitcoin bullrun. If we can watch out for some of these features it will give an idea on token to invest.

We are all hopeful for 2020. Halving will be a good reason to influence the price. This increase will start with BTC and affect other altcoins. I check your list and I think it may be better after a few additions, because the market is not just about top coins. You can also add some low volume altcoins. If you can find one of the better ones, its increase may be greater than the increase of all others.

Answering your message, I recall last year. My condition was exactly the same. Around depression and no one believes in any growth. (Although I always believe in the growth of bitcoin).I do not know what will happen next year,but I think ethereum has less chances than litecoin.In any case, some of the top cryptocurrencies should at least start to cost 2 times more.

Well, all the coins you mentioned really are worth it to invest since they are performing very well in this past years. Especially Bitcoin which seems to stabilize the balance of crypto when bear market took place. So yeah the coins you mentioned are worth to invest but I think what makes the insurance of avoiding losses is Bitcoin. For me, I would rather place big portion of my crypto investment to Bitcoin since this is the only coin I trusted ever since I joined crypto investment.

Yes, moreover there is a moment of halving Bitcoin in 2020. Today, investors and traders tend to wait and see, while monitoring changes in demand with upcoming supply changes. A low season like this happens almost every halving moment. Only bitcoin is able to return big profits because it is too volatile and gains value within short duration. Ripple is centralized in nature but it is not the reason behind failing to gain value. In my opinion, every single coin from top 50 on coinmarketcap, has potential to increase in price, but only if we would see another green market. The last time when it was the case, was back in 2017, without any improvement science then.

Why not just wait for the actual recovery and avoid making assumptions that would result to regrets? I am always seeing posts regarding with the uprise on the market prices at the end of a certain year but the fact here is lack of assurance. I don't think all the top 50 altcoins are growing on further green market. Normally peoples are mingle with top 10 altcoins and some promising tokens also so we can't say your prediction will possible on next bull run. I will definitely buy more BNB and ETH. It is understandable that the transaction volume is large and they are doing very well. Binance is undoubtedly one of the largest exchanges and they make lots of money to buy coins and burn it. It will make my portfolio grow stronger than ever. I'm sure it's not going to happen in january because it's just 2 months more and to reach 250$ that means it need to rise almost 100% and with currenct market condition i think it's almost impossible to do that. I think we should focus on only Ethereum. There will be huge buying power soon. why? because in January 2020, the PoS of Ethereum 2.0 will be born and it will create motivation for more people to buy ETH to participate in staking and make more money. Its price is currently down sharply as whales push prices to buy more BTC or ETH and prepare for the pump.

I wonder why BNB are not listed on coinpedia being top crypto coin for the year 2020. In fact CZ Binance are so busy making a lot things to remain thier coin on the top  invested coin in cryptomarket space.
