Presently crypto is not booming, altcoins are suffering as well and every thing you see or read online about crypto future is still predictions, still we got to be prepared for any outcomes, the features of coins that will be around for long and probably see huge adoptions are
- Privacy coins
- Dapps projects
My advice is to always make sure that coins you will hold for long term will worth it, make sure they have real use case

Crypto in 2020 will find itself bullish. Many speculations say 2020 will be an exciting year for its holders, but I'm here to think positively just investing in crypto is much better, and in 2020 will face halving for bitcoin and this will certainly affect the price of other crypto.

I don't think in time soon there will be stability in the market value of crypto currency as a result of the influence by the force that usually influence crypto market values, if it will ever happen.
To OP, there are strong speculation that after halving come year 2020 there will be an increase in the market of of Bitcoin and that will affect positively on all other altcoins and I so much believe in this speculation and that is why am still holding my ethereum and other altcoins.

So many speculations saying that in the coming year we're going to see another bull run for major coins. Such as bitcoin and other promising altcoins. I do hope it's true, cannot really say which one will has a great future, we'll only know when we get there. But as you've said many experts predicted that way. Well, it is only predictions so they could be wrong. I do have a few altcoins on my list that caught my attention, but really, I could only hoping for a better outcome later.

I think you and we live in different worlds. There is no such thing as booming for cryptocurrencies right now. And even as a result of the decline in the Bitcoin price, there is a general decline.

Yes there is a lot of speculation about the future of bitcoin but at the moment it is still not predictable which is more correct because prices continue to fluctuate, many people expect halving to happen soon but prices are still not showing its good, and other altcoins are still under market pressure downtrend.

I do not think privacy coin will boom in 2020 considering the government takes about this kind of project and always associated with money laundering or criminal activity, plus there is a requirement for every exchange to comply with their AMLD 5. what is the point of using it?
Dapps and DEX project seem like have a brighter future compared to the others, especially the platform that offers it such as ethereum.

I doubt about the privacy coin will get a big adoption in the future consider about the regulator's intervension will create a small room to the privacy coin. I doubt that will be happening in the future.
Dapps is still lack of adoption consider about none of them are offering something useful. Mostly dapps are based on the gambling and exchange site. The dapps that offers utility usage is very rare.
Based on the crypto council rating site and there was only a few coins that meet the requirement to be called as utility coins. This rating use SEC's regulation as the main framework.
The regulator is always watching crypto anytime.

I think altcoin in the table of 100 coinmarketcap will still dominate the biggest market in 2020 and still be the top.Maybe there will be coins / tokens from new markets like BNB tokens which will penetrate to top 100 in 2020.I see there are many market projects that have appear up now.

For 2020, I think the price of Bitcoin will increase. This was triggered by the halving which will occur next year. In addition, many experts predict that 2020 is a year of economic crisis so that there may be many investors who divert their investment into the cryptocurrency market

I think old coins - Litecoin, Ethereum, dogecoin and bitcoincash - will make a comeback. Look for coins that are on loads of exchanges - those are the ones that will dominate in 2020, and they're mostly old coins with established communities.

I search all new lowcap for themes that could attract speculators and generate fomo / hype. Investors will look for novelty, and there will always be shitcoins, every new bubble!

The next hype / fomo could be:

1. Mimblewimble technology (Beam, Grin, Bitgrin,...)

3. Non-collateralised Stablecoin (Haven Protocol, Bitcash, Triton, RSR, ...)

4. Full anonymity by default (Veil, Piratechain, ...)

6. DAG Smart-contract (Fantom, Constallation, Dero,...)

7. DAPPS (Chromia,..)

8. Simplify bitcoin, more refined (Cruzbit for example)
