Holla friends, I want ask opinion and advice regarding the situations of altcoins and BTC today

Yes it is the right time to buy some altcoins. it's better to spent all of your money in the different price level. I meant about you can divide your money into some. The market has already reached the bottom price and it looks like that the market is going to bump again. It's better for you to buy when you are thinking this is the right time to buy.
I will not advise you to follow my instruction but again you should just to your own research.
The big red has always become the best time to buy altcoin caused by that will give you the more chance to avoid the bulltra. At least when you can get in at the bottom price and if you are facing bulltrap and that will give you decent profit.

I looked at the BTC 1 day chart today and it looks like it's oversold. The price should go up over the next couple of days/weeks. If you can get in right now, you'll more than likely end up making a bit of profit over that time span. That said, now is a really good time to pick up any altcoin that is somewhat following Bitcoins trend. They too should rise in price over the next little while.

- after buying the price is getting down
- after buying the price goes up

We've been answering this kind of question for so many times and yes, it's a good time for everybody to buy bitcoin and a few altcoins of your choice. How much you're investing? depends on the coin you have chosen.

Scatter or diversify as much as you want but the main highlight should always go for bitcoin.

As long as you keep them long term , you can have some buys here and there but don't go all in into altcoins and especially don't gamble with non-name altcoins. Pick something good that has a chance to bring you profits until spring 2020 so you can make the switch back to Bitcoin. Personally I gathered some altcoins and I will continue to gather as I don't rush until 2023 to sell anything I have but if you're going to buy ripple do me a favor and don't.

Depends on what altcoins are you gonna buy. There are altcoins that is worth to buy like bnb, eth or some coins that having a cheap price but you can still see some potential objectives. I suggest you better choose those altcoins that are already established. How can you determined if this is the right time?
-learn the previous behaviour or charts of a particular coin that is your prospect to buy
-If you have time, learn technical analysis. From there you will spot when was the bottom price.

yes, I think this is the right day until Sunday you can take some Altcoin or Bitcoin, considering a few weeks if you see an increase there will benefit you, I only took a few cheap ETH today also some dogecoin, if you have enough funds you can buy it

I would advise against buying right now, as we just don't know where the bottom is. Certainly it is better to buy today than yesterday when prices were higher - but by the same logic tomorrow could be better for buying than today.
If you are confident on where the support levels are and whether they will hold, then by all means go for it - I would say it has to be an informed decision though, not just buying because everything is red.

Yes, this is indeed the right time to buy not just altcoins but also Bitcoin most especially. The price had just made a nosedive. It depends on what coin you want to buy because I see that not all coin is down, and many of that coin is trying to increase in the down of bitcoin price. The best time to invest is when the market is going down but make sure that you are investing in the right coins if not your will end up in a long hold, bitcoin and the rest of the markets went down drastically in the past few trading days and the support is well below $7k and it is still possible that the market will go down further but there is nothing to panic and invest in the right time and wait for a couple of years to reap the profits rather than looking for short term. Even though the price looks very cheap but I do not recommend anybody to buy altcoin in our current market, because there is no guarantee the altcoin that we will buy survive until the bear market ends. If there happens price fall low to $6500 there is more chances for the price to reach $5000. Maybe this can be a price correction based on the upcoming halving scheduled for 2020. Depends on what altcoins you would tend to purchase.We are now on the slumping prices phase.If you can risk out some money to buy on this possible dip

Yes, it's still the right time to buy altcoins since the prices are still cheap but you have to look for altcoins with huge potential. I wouldn't want to give you what might be construed as financial advice, but my opinion is that now is probably a great time to buy some quality altcoins, with the key word being 'quality'.  There are so many available and sometimes it can be hard to discern which ones have a future and which ones are total garbage.

Unfortunately most altcoins are indeed garbage, and I wouldn't even consider owning 99.9% of them.  Literally 1 out of every 1000 altcoins is a good one (perhaps a little more than that), which means there's only a small handful and those are basically from the top ones on coinmarketcap.  Eth would be a good choice and an obvious one at that, but the rest are basically what you prefer and everyone prefers different alts.

On the other hand, the market could keep dropping.  If that happens you might lose money in the short term if you bought now, but I think in the long term you would make a profit.  You have to buy low in order to sell high, right?  Well, altcoins are fairly low at the moment.

I'm not too sure because it can be cheaper, the market situation is very volatile, which keeps me monitoring. but if you intend for the long term it's not a problem to buy it now, I believe future prices can be as before and even better.

It's better to have a plan for the long term at this moment because, in the short term, the market will not increase so high. If he wants, he can buy an altcoin because the altcoin now is down, and some of the altcoins will be the potential to grow in the future. Holding the altcoin will have a risk, but don't worry because the altcoin will increase after bitcoin can stay at a price.

No, this is not a good time. alts are falling sharply against bitcoin and the downtrend is continuing. In my opinion, yes. Altcoins yields higher returns than bitcoin in bull market, although it is bitcoin that commands the bull-run of the market. it's possible that bitcoin will keep going up and altcoins go down in coming near future, but some altcoins will start to recover and  some of the investors will realize that the gains they make on altcoins could easily outperform the gains from bitcoin.

I think this isn't a correct time to buy altcoins. BTC is not at all stable and is falling each day. This is making alts rekt as they are falling too both in dollar value and sats value. Yes, it is! Just invest only to those top coins that has a huge impact when the bull market comes. It will greatly give you a considerable amount of profit. Don't settle to those coins who's chances are 50/50 you might regret your choices later if you bought the wrong coins.

I think so. The coins are showing little signs that the temporary dump is finished. We should not be relying too much on this however. You need to be careful as the surprises in crypto is endless. But personally though, I guess this time is a good time to buy. The bottom has been reached already. In fact, $150 for ETH and $7,000 for BTC are already very low. That's good prices already because we are facing a bullish year-end and early 2020.

Many altcoin btc pair has a rise although it's not significant and we can see that in the market. I see that some of my coins have increased, too, but I still hold because I want to sell for another higher price. But altcoin usdt pair has also increased because some coin gives good movements, so I guess that in the next week, that coin will still increase. Well for me i think this is a perfect time to buy some altcoins for the prices are really low and it is a good opportunity for us. I have set a certain point in the prices of altcoins where i will decide to buy some of it and not wait till it reaches lower price because i don't want to miss the opportunity to buy in a lower prices and i have already bought some and will hold it till next year because i think btc halving will affect altcoins price next year.

Yes but please buy only the top altcoins and not the shitcoins because they might not survive on this dump. Buy also bitcoin its very cheap and it can go up easily. I do prefer to have more ETH, BNB and other good altcoins. That technique of yours is still also not the way to make the right choice in selecting an altcoin because there are some altcoin which are not listed on top exchange site and they performed beautifully in the market. I could remember MMOCoin which I sold 2000 of it at the rate of $50 in the year 2017 but now worth $2420 and what I earned through that coin is that project launched by team which have been in the system long ago are always good choice.

If you going to study and analyze the market it seems the market will start recover in the year 2020 or 2021 but most the people say its on 2020 because of bitcoin halving. Although it is not easy and we must fast, see altcoin which still get pumped and jump with small amount if capital (that we really ready to lose) then make small profit too before it dumped again will be good. While it may seem that buying some of the top ranked altcoins for the current prices could be a good business decision at the same time you cannot really forget that during this year even if those coins recovered somewhat against fiat they lost value against bitcoin, for those that do not understand this basically means that if you were holding bitcoin you could have made more profits by holding your bitcoin than by holding your altcoins, and I do not know about you but I do not think it is a good decision to hold altcoins that give you a greater risk of losing your money and then obtain even less profits than what you could obtain with bitcoin.

And for an addition, several years for altcoin might be too long. I mean, maybe each people have their own strategy. But hold altcoin for years, if we wrong pick it will only waste our time. It's better to buy few altcoins that are active to bitcoin bull run this days like BCH or Neo, these coins are showing bullish sign and if bitcoin reach higher price they will bring profit for sure, I plan to invest big on altcoins only when bitcoin surge over 20k

My perspective on what is happening at the moment is that we are in an increasingly bullish market, but not quite there yet for alts.

I think bullish sentiment starts with bitcoin, where BTC grows much more quickly that alts - we've had that phase and completed it now.
Later comes the phase where alts increase in price much more quickly than bitcoin, the 'alt season', and this is where I think we are headed.

But right now we are in between the two. We are in a stage where price rises start with alts, but then as soon as alts start to establish some upwards momentum, money goes from alts back to BTC, and BTC rises again. This has happened a lot over the last few weeks.

So should we buy good alts in preference to BTC? I would say that time is coming soon, and we are in the transition between the two, and at the moment good alts and BTC are rising at a similar rate.

No one is sure about the price changes and its timing because whenever the market is going green we try to sell out the Bitcoin or altcoins which you feel most profitable now.
Based on that investment will be change it to to some usdt as because you need to have some stable fund in your portfolio to avoid the loss

I think this 2020 is the best time to buy Altcoins. There is a huge promise that Altcoins will really touch the sky when the rise up does not end. It is the best time because some are still cheap to buy and these coins are starting to go up on the market chart.

Yes, now alts look very good and promising, but also alts do not grow in price so far, now you need to choose and invest if there are no coins in your wallet.

its mean you should choice good altcoin has potential for future because there is altcoin not grow very well and if you investing on this coin you will get lose with your balance. you alright its good time to buy but before buy you must to choice potential coins maybe like Ethereum, Litecoin, BSV and BCH
 

Just be careful investing in staking coins. Remember, the total coins are going to end up increasing while you're waiting on the price to go up. So, you need to make sure that there is going to be enough interest in the coin for people to buy up all of these extra coins. Otherwise, if no one buys them up, they'll end up on the market and it will end up crashing the price. This is not a knock against Tezos in particular. I don't even really know much about it. I just know you have to be careful with staking coins as the price tends to usually tank with all the extra coins coming in.

As long as bitcoin is still going on to the moon and we have a huge chance to see that. It's not about this year is the best time to buy altcoin or not but just try to remind you if the best time to buy crypto should be on the bearish market. We just need to follow what already done by the whale.

Buying altcoin is good for anytime as long as your understand how set money management. make sure that you just buy for short term now

you should realize too that in crypto, it is not only can buy 'long', but 'short' selling with margin inside. that's good if the price is down

Presently altcoins are bullish as well but not all of them, bitcoin is still a better choice for someone like me, since all altcoins depend on bitcoin i will only divert my money back to altcoins when bitcoin reach a new all time high, once bitcoin dominance keeps decreasing altcoin bull run will begin
