Title: Which wallet best for your currency store?
Post by: amonymous on November 23, 2019, 06:50:56 AM
Here are 3 crypto wallets that are the best to me, but personally I can say that I use the coinbase wallet more because lot of opportunity in coinbase.

1. Coinbase:
Coinbase is one of the easiest ways to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies, which earns it the first spot on this list. With Coinbase.
Coinbase currently supports now:
BTC, BCH, BAT, REP, ZRX, Link, DAI, DASH, EOS, ETH, ETC, LTC, XLM, XTZ, USDC, XRP, ZEC
You can store here your currency, as your like.
Secority: coinbase give you strong password with email verification.

3. Blockchain:
Blockchain is the technology that allows Bitcoin and other digital currencies to exist.
Blockchain wallet is similar to Coinbase in that it is an online wallet and you can buy and sell directly through the platform.
Secority: You can use strong password with email verification and two-factor authentication.

2. Trezor:
Trezor isn’t a full buying and selling platform like Coinbase. Instead, it is simply a place to store your Bitcoin with multiple currencies.
Trezor wallet accept computer, tablet or phone.
Security: you can use strong password with two-factor authentication.

I personally like coinbase because of their offers and giveaways sometimes but when we are talking about wallets it doesn't stand a chance against wallets like coinomi or trust

coinomi is a all in one crypto wallet with over hundreds of altcoins in its package, one don't have to get separate wallets for coins like bnb, ripple, dash, etc

Why do you even consider storing your assets in a custodial wallet like coinbase? It doesn't matter how strong their security is as they claim, you still do not have full ownership of that wallet.

"Not your keys, not your funds".

I would suggest that you only use it to buy/sell then transfer your funds to a non-custodial wallet like Trezor.

Coinbase is not really a wallet, its just a custodial service so you are not having any control over your funds only coinbase have and there are lot of disadvantages of using coinbase for buying and selling cryptos even.

Blockchain.com wallet is better than coinbase but it is buggy wallet so you may lose your funds due to errs while transaction.

Number one is a terrible advice, you can buy and sell cryptocurrencies on coinbase, but do not hold or store your coins on any exchange, not even coinbase. Didn't you hear of the Mt Gox hack, the Bitfinex hack etc, research properly so users aren't misled by your information.

Trezor wallet is the only advisable one on your list, it is a hardware wallet and can provide it's customers good security of their coins.

I use Coinbase wallet because it is a hot wallet, but with many layers of security and simple usage, I find it very safe to store my cryptocurrency. In addition, I also use trust wallet because It is a mobile wallet, so it is very handy, linking multiple blockchains and supporting many coins and tokens, in addition to Trust Wallet deeply integrated with Binance DEX.

Exodus wallet as a hot wallet for sending and receiving payments. I'm using it for the past two years and I never faced any issue.
Also, you control your private keys.

Ledger Nano S as a cold wallet for long term investment holds. As it is a hardware wallet, it is way much secure than other kinds of wallets.
Also, never purchase a hardware wallet from a third party site. Always make a purchase directly from their website.

Coinbase gives users no access to their private keys that is why i hate using their wallet, it works like a online wallet with just username and password to login, if things go wrong its the end for all your funds

I myself like coinomi wallet until now.

I use Trezor, for me it's the safest as it is act already as our private key. Though I still use myetherwallet in bounties and airdrop but for holding and investments it should be in Trezor. Those projects that seems to be more efficient in the future as they will have more demand by then.

Why is coinbase in there? It doesn't make any sense to me given that it is a hosted wallet that has significantly less security compared to the rest (even blockchain.com) because of the fact that you don't even hold your own private keys.

Also, other web based wallets like blockchain.com may be convenient, but is still relatively insecure.

I'd suggest something like Ledger or Trezor any day. It can be just as convenient, but provides loads of security and peace of mind.

You seem to have missed the MEW wallet. I have been using MEW for 2 years now and it's really good and hasn't had any problems with my wallet yet. MEWconnect is now available and it has a very high level of security and I still use it for free. It is too handy.

why coinbase was there because it was his choice, that he said could be as a wallet and also for trading at the same time, in other words he liked the wallet of the exchange website. he could have used a wallet that could have his own private key stored but I think for him it was too complicated so that's why Trezor came in 3rd as his choice.

As for myself, I choose wallet ledger and bitcoin wallet desktop (basically the private key can be stored by us), the other reason is because I don't really trust the wallet on the exchange website.

lets make good grouping. wallet which you hold private key and not.
coinbase is an exchange, it doesnt allow to hold private key, so it is less security
blockchain is cryptocurrency wallet supporting bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum. you can hold your private key
Trezor is a hardware wallet, it can hold private key too.

While there are other more powerful hardware wallets, we cannot assume 1 and 2 as the best. Not Blockchain's online wallet, but Lockbox can be in the better ones' list. However, I agree with you about Trezor, it is one of the best hardware wallets. As I understand, your knowledge is little about wallets. This wallet is better for me than coinbase , we all know that coinbase ask for kyc before you can use the wallet fully and that was a 3rd party wallet . Unlike coinomi that you have a copy of pass phrase that you can enter any time just dont forgey it if you dont want to experience problem . other than that you dont need to make  a kyc using that wallet.

Blockchain wallet is the easiest and safest wallet in my personal experience, I have been using Blockchain wallet for more than 2 years and never faced any issue while using. I must say almost every wallet is safe and easy to use as long as you have access to the private keys. Always keep private keys of your wallet at a safe place and a place that you can access easily. I never recommend to keep cryptocurrencies on exchanges because exchanges can be hacked..
MyEtherWallet (MEW) is best for ERC-20 Tokens.

I am still loyal to use a manual wallet without a third party because I only use ethereum wallet. besides that I keep a few coins in the market wallet but not in large nominal and the wallet market that I use is a market that has trust in my country.

Plus I haven't invested much lately. if I make an investment then I put my funds in a hardware wallet

If it's just for storing cryptocurrencies, then any wallet would do. Heck, you can even find hundreds of web-based online wallets to store cryptocurrencies.
But when the security of the cryptocurrencies is also a factor, not many wallets fill in the list.
One way to ensure your wallet's security is to have access to its private keys. This means you are in full control of your cryptocurrencies.
Custodial services such as Coinbase and Coin.ph (popular around South East Asia) don't offer such features which means if somehow their platform would have problems, you'll have a hard time getting into your wallet.
Most hardware wallets nowadays offer access to your private keys such as Ledger Nano or the one that's already listed on OP, Trezor, so these are the best choice.

I use many wallets online for my different coins and tokens but its about storing bitcoin and eth, well I’d rather save it on my Ledger which I have the control and I have the confidence that I will not get hack online. Coins.ph for my crypto transactions and its very useful in our country that’s why this is our best wallet so far.

Coinbase and blockchain are both online wallet with no recovery seed or private keys, users are at risks using such wallets to keep their funds, this is not a good advice for newbies who still don't know things about crypto wallets

No doubt coinbase is good to store the coins but I believe in Trezor wallet to store the coins. From the day I took the Trezor Wallet, I never worried about the safety of the coins that I stored in my Trezor wallet. Trezor also supports many coins.

I have used Blockchain and Coinbase wallets, but nowadays I sort for reputable multi wallets with support for most of my crypto holdings. My two best choices are ATOMIC and TRUST wallet. The good thing is that both support purchase of crypto with credit card, added to support for multiple chains. This two I think are secure, and you can swap some tokens with these wallets too.

For me, Trust wallet because it isn’t just your average cryptocurrency wallet-not anymore. Binance has integrated the trust wallet with a new features that will make a cryptocurrency users experience look like less of a chore when not dealing with SHA-256 encryption patterns. Moreover you can see the real market values of all your assets & individual tokens in Dollars.

All the wallets are original just the same, only different security, speed and different developers that make this wallet project unique. One of them definitely has its advantages and less. So their origin is already widely used and has a small fee let alone sooner it may be best in my opinion. I now use the Trust Wallet for mobile and MEW for computer.

I just used to it with coinbase wallet, no wallet can't be the same performance as coinbase. You can think I'm new but I used blockchain, this wallet is very slow and doesn't show real price. Trezor could be good but still I don't have experience in trezor wallet.

I also prefer to use a wallet that is directly compatible with each coin. Yes, it would be more fun if we have full control and rights over the funds that we keep in the wallet. While the OP placed the custodial wallet at number 1, it was debated by some of the members above, because it was related to full control. But back to their respective principles.

These are the best 3 wallets for crypto participants, currently I am using Coinbase and everything in this wallet is very convenient for investors. I have been using it for more than 2 years and have not had any security issues during the usage period so Coinbase is the first choice everyone should try in the near future. Beside, you can also try Trust Wallet to hold some other tokens when participating in bounty or airdrop.

Lots of wallets for you to choose from and there no need to worry too much about security so you can try them all if you like.

It seems to me that storing your coins on the exchange is not safe, why not use a wallet from which you have a private key? If you store the ERC20 tokens it is quite safe to use the MyEtherWallet, I have never had any problems with it.

Just get yourself a cold wallet like Tezor or Ledger Nano X. You will be protected and you can safely store your crypto offline, because all online wallets would be hacked sooner or later, so you will have a chance to save your earnings.

all online wallet ? no i dont believe you with that  . as soon as hacker get smarter  the online wallet developers are also got smarter and implement a better security for thier platform  . this is the reason why majority of the online wallets nowadays are havent been hacked yet     . me myself dont have a hardware wallet but i am confident with the offline wallet that im using today   , actually its bee 2 years and up that i never have a problem on them  .

yep hardware wallet is more safer than storing in exchange, we already heard many exchanges hacked and lost millions dollars.
the one disadvantage, the hardware wallet not for short term holding or doing trading. it is just suitable if you wanna store for long term
so, yeah just take which is suitable for us. The wallet has its own advantage and disadvantage

Coinbase is a huge advantage over other wallets, since you can buy bitcoin with your credit card here, and it has a bonus of 10 $ when you buy bitcoin for 100 $. And coinbase has also many rewards just like the new coins list in their exchange wallet.

#3 it should be blockchain.com
Because it could be misleading if a newbie reads about this and treats "blockchain" into a definition of being a wallet and not the technology. Coinbase and Blockchain.com wallet are web wallets and the security they have is weaker than the desktop and hardware wallets. So, including trezor is okay.

In my opinion coinomi is the best wallet to store your cryptocurrencies and i think they provided enough security. Coinbase is very well known wallet but i think it's also good exchange for some specific coin buy and sell even only for some countries because it's have restriction for many countries specially for buy/sell.

A lot of users still feels confused about what wallet to use, but it depends on what you need it for. If you want security, then cold storage wallet like Ledger Nano S or Trezor is a good option, especially when you have some valuable coins. If you want a secure desktop wallet you could use Exodus or Atomic wallet. there are also web and mobile wallets that are good for fast transactions but are less secure like Coinomi.

I suggest using a personal wallet such as a Trezor wallet or a hardware wallet because it is safer than a exchange wallet, an exchange wallet is at risk of being hacked so it is safer to store it in a personal wallet

Being part here in crypto currency community needs a highly secured wallet so that each and everyone here may create trust and the support of many will be demand. As our technology become more develop we can trust by those trusted wallet, though we can't omit on our mind those hackers here in digital world and each of us here must be attentive and need to secured our accessible information in the right place.

I prefer Trezor to save my assets even though Trezor is only a hardware wallet platform for storing assets. Unlike coinbase and blockchain that can buy and sell assets. Trezor is superior because it has a higher level of security and is safer. The Trezor Wallet form is easy to carry everywhere (portable) and easy to use.

For short-term storage, I think an online wallet is good to use as you mentioned Coinbase and Blockchain, but for long-term storage I recommend Ledger and Trezor, because it will definitely be far from hacks

Coinbase and blockchain wallet are not good enough because you funds is not actually yours 100%, you aren't the only one who have  access to your funds, better find wallets with private keys like trust wallet, copay, coinomi, monarch wallet

Among the three wallets, I believe in Trezor wallet because the security used is very good, so our assets will definitely be comfortable and if Koinbase is still lacking, I am not sure to use let alone to store our assets, and most importantly trezor domper is very good for we invest even though currently I still use myetherwallet but when investing I still use trezor.

I have never used Blockchain, but I will try it with some money in the future. But I think it's still not as good as Coinbase's wallet system since Coinbase's transaction fee is very cheap and fast.
Perhaps in the future there will be no wallet that can replace Coinbase. Do you agree with me?

Why you don't consider TrustWallet? That is one of the best wallet also because of non-custodial, The developer has no any chance to control our wallet because we keeping the private key and we the only person who can open or store cryptocurrency consider this wallet and I will be happy.

Back then in 2016 i used coinbase but as many alternative coins surfaced i had to change and switch to coinomi due to the fact thatthat its a multi-coin wallet and at thesame time had an inbuilt swap known as shapeshift and changley where one can convert its bitcoin to altcoin and interchangeably convert your altcoins to bitcoin,  but as of last year i discovered that coinomi fee for transfer of token was relatively high so i changed to trust wallet. It is a multicoin wallet with an inbuilt DAapp feature and has low fee for transfer, am really enjoying the wallet

All three are the best. Depending on which side you want to take it as needed.
For now, I prefer Trustwallet to use wallet on mobile. On the web I use blockchain.com and sometimes coinbase. And for the hardware wallet I use Ledger.
I think everything is safe web that op mentioned. As long as we are comfortable using it and there are no problems, of course. Besides blokchain likes to give free airdrop like xlm at the beginning of this year.

On other hand, we must aware on our private informations in order to avoid possible hackers here in digital world. as far as I am concerned, blockchain is the best since you have access to your private key. I can't store my assets on coinbase and as well I have not used trezor wallet but it has been recommended so far by professionals

I’m not sure why will people choose coinbase as it’s an exchange which can get hacked anytime, or it can even ask you submit your personal documents which is not a good idea if you’re transacting using bitcoins. Trezor is a good wallet but I don’t think it’s required for small amounts, you only need it when you have a large amount of bitcoins. As far as blockchain is concerned I found it complicated when I used it in my initial days, now I’m not sure how good it is. In my opinion Electrum is the best wallet not only is it safe but it’s super easy to use, and there’s an added advantage that you can store it in your phone and do transactions from your phone.

According to me Coinbase is best because it's the easiest way to buy and sell and hold cryptocurrency. It has a very firm security overall the best wallet is Coinbase.

Trezor is just a place to store a bitcoin. It works with multiple currencies and works as a password manager.

Blockchain wallet is similar to Coinbase wallet you can buy and sell directly through the platform.

There are many cryptocurrency wallets, there is a very large selection for different purposes.  If HOLD, then of course time-tested:
-Ledger Nano X
-Ledger nano s
-TREZOR One
-Keepkey
For short-term transactions, I use the Blockchain wallet, but there is no support for ERC-20 tokens.  To do this, I use MEW through MetaMask to use more conveniently.
For me, there is no single, better wallet; all of them perform their functions well, including in terms of security.

For what I use, exchanges are enough, they are not wallets and I use a local exchange that helps me change bitcoin to fiat and vice versa so it is enough for me. I doubt it will ever get banned or scam us because they are making INSANE amount of money with how many people come in and trade there every single day.

On a country with 300 dollar minimum wage, these people make 30k dollar revenue every DAY, sure they must have some expenses and they have high tax rates and so forth but I am pretty sure they make around 300 thousand dollars per month on a nation that has 300 dollar as minimum wage. So all in all my trust doesn't come from them directly for wallet usage, my trust comes from the greed they might have, if they are smart and greedy people they won't scam anyone.

Coinbase and blockchain.com are web wallets so they are not completely safe for storing cryptos in long run.For bitcoin, ethereum and other altcoins there are wallets which gives private key means you control your funds and ou also can access your wallet from other device using the private keys.

For bitcoin electrum, coinomi, trezor hardware wallet even ledger nano will be best.

Ethereum: my ethereum wallet,Any hardware wallets.

Exactly. Coin base offers a custodial service via its wallet plus its not readily available in full to all countries unlike coinomi. Blockchain wallet is the most popular and easy to use but it has support for only btc, eth and xlm and its prone to easy hack too. I will say Coinomi and trust wallet are the best at the moment (of course, excluding the hardware wallets)

coinomi is a all in one crypto wallet with over hundreds of altcoins in its package, one don't have to get separate wallets for coins like bnb, ripple, dash, etc
And I've heard it's not secure at all, tho I have used it without any issues and I do agree that it's a useful wallet...I just don't completely trust it.

Coinbase?  That is such a noob thing to suggest.  They're an exchange, and even if they're regulated by the U.S. gov't, they shouldn't be used as a personal wallet especially if you're doing any gambling.  They're watching what you're doing with your bitcoin, believe me.

Trezor is fine, and the same thing with most other hardware wallets.  If you're serious about crypto, you ought to at least consider one.  You can't beat the security of one except for a paper wallet.

Considering the fact that blockchain wallet have a relative terms and flexibility that comes with the functionality, I would always go with blockchain wallet and more especially the mobile application due to it's high security and easy means to operate.

I think we should remain so concern about the wallet as it’s very important decision to store our coins that's why just use online wallet or hardware wallet the one which I trust blindly for my crypto is one and only blockchain as no wallet can give me security better than blockchain so I am using it and I suggest it to all my family members as well.

I see from both of the above it is not a problem on the blockchain, but the problem is that the user is too careless not to store all data access to the blockchain wallet properly, usually they hacked their email to hackers take their funds, if all users keep all data offline is it very dangerous? I don't think so, depending on how well the user maintains security, I am still safe to use the wallet, but mycellium is also good I also use it often

I have many software wallets that can be accessed online, but none of it provides good satisfaction for me in choosing which wallet where I can store most of my cryptocurrency. Based on the security features of a hardware wallet, it provides us with satisfaction through its security structures that prohibits others to access it. Right now, I have my full trust in my ledger nano s since I bought it directly from the site's store. And I advise that if you are looking for a cheap hardware wallet, this is the best choice.

If you go with trustworthy wallets that are being used by thousands of people for years now, then it is very unlikely to happen that you lose money due to fault in the application. Wallets that are available on playstores should not be trusted. Most of the people face hacking problem with the apps that get installed from these stores. To protect your asset from hackers, do not provide credentials everywhere.

Blockchain wallet is actually quite popular in the market but in general, this wallet is like the guy above said, it has a classic style and little change, it can sometimes be boring and outdated with the technology age. While in the current market, there will probably be no shortage of wallets for us to deposit, a lot of different platforms, even wallets on exchanges, depending on the purpose and needs, we can choose the most suitable wallet and the distribution of assets, should not focus on an independent wallet

You guys should spend less time spamming in bounty campaigns and more learning the basics of cryptocurrencies or you will come here crying in a few weeks!

Centralized wallets and exchanges are and never will be a good place to store crypto. Not your keys not your crypto!
You want a wallet get electrum for bitcoin or a multi wallet like coinomi for alts. If you want security buy a hardware wallet.

Honestly hardware wallet is the most secured way of storing your coins but there are few mobile wallets that makes sense unlike coinbase that is just a wallet for an exchange and people confused it as a good wallet, no private keys for you and coinbase teams is holding them for you, be wise

I prefer coinbase, because it includes more coins. and especially the big coins in the top 100 on the market, because that's all I usually buy. for ico tokens and the like, I still have no interest.

If you want to use wallets, don't use web wallets, I recently read a post where a guy lost some bitcoin (forgot the exact amount but I think it was 10BTC or more), he sent the bitcoin to an investment platform from coinbase but when he discovered that he didn't like their terms, he asked for a refund and the coin was sent back the address that sent the BTC to them but that address was the cold wallet of coinbase and it didn't enter his walletz he is still trying to retrieve it all to no avail.

I have been in crypto space since 2013 and Hardware is the way to go for me. It's the most secure and with apps like Ledger Live you can track your investments and portfolio. I haven't use Trezor, but I am in love with my Ledger Nano X that uses Bluetooth too. Thought initially is kind of difficult to adapt to the small interface and every time entering your PIN when you try to use you Ledger but I understand that is for security reasons.

Just remember to keep your seed as a backup in a safe place!

From OP mention first wallet and i still use it until now is blockchain. I think as long there are no problem with our email, the wallet will safe. Make sure all the accounts that related to wallet is safe, email, google authenticator, etc. Login email with 2fa, and don't try sms, because sometime google have option to guess what is the number phone and after that no sms verification. I have experience this sometimes, but now i set 2fa. And blockchain, set 2fa too. Beside secured with 2fa, blockchain every login with different IP detected, he ask to click confirmation on email.

It is good to buy the coins in the Coinbase, they are choosing very good coin to list in the Coinbase. It is not the right idea to invest in the ICO tokens and it is not a good idea to invest in the ICO tokens because most of the coin is fake and it is impossible for us to trace them in the market.

In my opinion besides Coinbase, Binance also only listed coins which have good projects and the developer team is active. Binance has a Binance Info feature that can be a guide for potential investors about the projects to be invested and in my opinion this is a good step to educate potential investors so they will not be fooled into scam projects.

I am more interested in using a blockchain wallet because in my opinion they are more practical and safer to use than others, I have been using this wallet for more than 3 years, but for all in one I usually use coinomi and trustwallet too, if in terms of security it usually depends on the user too how to secure their wallet well, I still remain comfortable and safe using the blockchain

i am affraid to use that wallet i heard many issue with blockchain wallet before.
1. More people has been victimised of hacking
2. There are people that hard to recover funds from thier wallet even they have the phrase or email.
This is the reasons why ill never try this wallet i might use electrum and mycellium than blockchain wallet.
I agree with this, I don't even use the wallet app from PlayStore because I avoid hackers accessing my wallet from my smart phone when I'm off guard, so keeping money safe I only use laptops and personal computers that have never been touched and used by anyone other than me , security comes from ourselves

If you are looking for high security wallet then you should buy an hardware wallet I suggest you to buy Ledger Nano S to store multiple currencies. If you consider coinbase and blockchain as best wallet then you are wrong you are not controlling funds on those wallets so possible for hacks and other vulnerabilities so these are not created for storage purpose.

I think Ledger is the best hardware wallet.
It doesn't have open source firmware like Trezor, but it has more secure hardware.

And I think software multi cryptocurrency wallets can be used only for a small amount of crypto.

Those three mention wallet are good where to keep the bitcoins. My friend are using that three wallet and she says that its been alright his feed back. But if i can choose I'll go for blockchain becuase its very safe to use and i used it for how many years.  So i choose blockchain wallet  where can i Store my bitcoins.
Now there are so many wallets but same as you I would say the only best wallet to store our coin is blockchain. People are so clever now it’s really easy for them to hack any wallet that’s why only blockchain for me is trust worthy and I don’t feel afraid while I invest my money into bitcoin and store all of them in blockchain as only, i trust only block chain to store my coin.

Coinbase is not a wallet! It's an exchange.

Coinbase is not a safe place to store your cryptocurrencies. It's a place to trade. If you aren't a trader get your money off exchanges and into a real wallet.

Here's a hint: a real wallet is not an online wallet or another exchange. It's also not an online casino or an online store.

Ledger Nano wallet is the best wallet for me because it is very safe since it is a hardware wallet and it is an offline wallet so the hackers online cannot bypass your wallet to steal your cryptocurrency. Hardware wallet are worth to invest for the people who are really looking for a secured wallet for long term holding.

Very risky I must say, never leave your funds in an exchange. Normally, Blockchain is a good wallet for storing temporarily cryptocurrency but not for storing long term coins.
For long term hodling, choose a wallet that is not always connected to the Internet, with it there a lesser risk.

trezor is much better compared with ledger. i rarely heard that someone who get a big problem with trezor. The fact that so many people are feeling confident with trezor as it was putting a very high security method to make sure the amount will be safe in the wallet.

All again depends on each individual to be good or bad, because actually the blockchain is good and the protection is very reliable and responsible. No matter how good the wallet you use, but you cannot guard and careless, it will become useless and only cause loss.

I think cold wallets are always the best option for investors when keeping assets in this market. I have been using Ledger Nano S for the past 3 years and actually it makes me feel safer because the security level of this wallet is very high. In addition, if you transaction regularly, you can choose Trust Wallet, Coinbase, Blockchain because these 3 wallets are also very good for investors.

blockchain wallet is one of the most reliable wallets, when we talk about hot wallets, for storing cryptocurrencies. the only thing I don’t like is that they don’t add any improvements for so many years of their existing
That's right, blockchain wallets are very suitable to use and are very suitable for storing currencies, because they have really tested their safety and are also very easy to use, so everyone strongly recommends using a blockchain wallet if you want to save currency.
Blockchain is a good option. It is a trustworthy one and among the top ten wallets too. From small fee charges to good security, it provides all. It has three key security feature which includes email verification, 2FA and a pass phrase. To increase the protection, it also back ups all your funds. More than 35 countries are supported for transaction. However, coinbase, trezor and electrum can also be used.

There is no better wallet than a hardware wallet, in this term I would choose Ledger over Trezor. After the hardware wallet, I will blindly choose the Coinbase wallet! I don't think the Coinbase wallet is the best due to the obvious reasons. The best secure wallets are hardware wallets and the lack of online hijack protects our digital assets from third parties. The online and desktop wallets are dangerous as a cold wallet but I also hold small balances on the exchanges for trading the altcoins. It takes time to transfer from hardware wallet, the best option is to feel safe than sorry.

There is no doubt that hardware wallets are the best, but maybe you haven't used the Coinbase wallet. It is the safest online wallet I ever used! I have been using the Coinbase app since 2014 and never faced a single issue, such strong security they have. Even hardware wallets have a negative review for some reason, but Counbase is full fresh. I am using the Ledger Nano S where I have 150$ now, but in coinbase, I have 300$.

I think, holding your crypto asset on any exchange is not a good decision. You can choose Ledger wallet as the best one I have ever seen. Isn’t it stupid to put the exchange in the first place, especially in the rating of wallets !? Understand one thing, that when your money is stored on the exchange, it is not held by you, but by the owners of the exchange in your pocket, I think that you need to edit your topic and not mislead newcomers. Your rating had to start from bottom to top, then it would be correct.

Trust wallet created by binance but im a little bit skeptical about trust wallet. We have a very good choice just like trezor and that's enough to be used to store various tokens and coin with high security. i have used it for a few years and i never encounter any problem

I use Hard wallet like Trezor, Ledger to store bitcoin. And I use coinbase, just in case I need fast Bitcoin for transaction fee for online products and so on.

This means my primary one is the Hardwallet, and the coinbase is secondary wallet only.

It's better to be safe, and we must hold our private key, because we don't know when hackers will attack. Especially in wallets like Coinbase because we don't hold our private keys here.

Coinbase is a centralized exchange which has high risk as others centralized exchange too
so, it is very dangerous if saving much money in that place. There are continual accident happens on centralized exchange

I prefer to use blockchain to save long term, and using centralized exchange for short term.
so it can reduce risk which is had centralized exchange

It's no longer your money but the exchange property. There's nothing you can do if the exchange got hack or exchange declares bankruptcy you don't have any authorities to gain back you assets especially after the declarations has been made. It's your choice so make sure that you've learned a lot before taking your decisions or moving to exchange best to have your own storage to make it sure that you can secure your funds.

Properly we don't believe holding in exchange wallet too and it like to understand truly, basically i have shared some top wallet with best for everyone so you can use anyone which best suits your mind. Remember it, this is the online market so your money safety need more important then you can do anything.

I just use any wallet as long as it stores my coins because I trade or sell my coins when I have.

You mean what is available then you will just use it without having further investigation if the wallet if secured and easy to use? It is not healthy for you and for your coins, you might become a victim of scam wallet or your funds may be stolen so easily if you keep on doing that.

Isn’t it stupid to put the exchange in the first place, especially in the rating of wallets !? Understand one thing, that when your money is stored on the exchange, it is not held by you, but by the owners of the exchange in your pocket, I think that you need to edit your topic and not mislead newcomers. and you are doing very correctly. I already got experience with some exchanges on which I saved my money. these were small exchanges and they were hacked by hackers who pulled out all the money from there. Unfortunately, people begin to understand this only after a sad experience in their life

I personally prefer the blockchain wallet as it is an online wallet and you can buy and sell directly through the platform. The security here is also very safe and I am very used to using it. 8)

I don't like Trezor because Coinbase and Blockchain are so much better. I also recommend against using Trezor. This may be my personal opinion but I hope you will read it.

there are many wallets available now and many have good popularity and reputation, so it can be said that for now we are safe and free to choose a wallet that is comfortable to use. but even so at least i still use a blockchain wallet and a wallet that can accept any token

Blockchain and Coinbase wallet has same service. I did support blockchain wallet because their swap options and another security layer. Now i change mind because blockchain cost, swap cost, slow process. You can deposit in blockchain wallet but check perfectly than you will find 2-3 USD deposit cost.

To me, there is no better wallet than a hardware wallet, but after a hardware wallet, I will blindly choose the Coinbase as a wallet. They are very famous and most trusted crypto platform, I have been here for many years but never heard about Coinbase data breached what I am hearing every year in platforms like Binance and Bithumb! Recently Coinbase opened their door for the ERC20 based tokens too, so, anybody can easily store their ERC20 tokens on that!

There are wallet providers are available in the market and usage of the wallet is based on the requirement of the users who want to access the wallet.
Wallet user doesn't want the big usage they can simply go with the best based their wish and there are many listing site to show the good one.

Most users still feel uncertain about whether to use wallet, but it depends on what you need to use it. If you want protection, cold storage wallet such as Ledger Nano S or Trezor is a good option, especially if you have some valuable coins. You can use Exodus or Atomic wallet if you want a secure mobile wallet. Web and mobile wallets are also available that are good for fast transactions but less stable like Coinomi.

Ledger Nano has built already a good market reputation when it regards security assurance and also other Hard or offline wallets. But it is a little bit expensive to acquire that is why most crypto holders especially when you are just holding small amounts they only just prepare to use online/mobile wallets even the risk of losing their funds is so high.

However, it is not about having Hard wallets we are totally safe at all, it also depends on how we manage our wallets in a particular transaction. We are too careless handling this thing, it also meant nothing and we may also have to lose our funds somehow.

Security: you can use strong password with two-factor authentication.

welcome to share your opinions for everyone new members in the crypto world with increasing our knowledge.
My favourite web wallet is Blockchain.com . It allows me to control private keys, many advanced secutity features like Email/ Two-Factor Authentication and adjust fee for each transaction.

I think Ledger Nano S is the safest option for everyone to enter this market because this is the wallet I've used for over 4 years now and haven't had any problems using it.

In fact, the wallets you listed are very good, but I only use cold wallets to hold assets. Of course, I also use Trust Wallet to keep a small amount of money because this wallet has been used by a lot of people recently.

Blockchain.com wallet isn't safe so if you will use that better to find something else. The description tells that blockchain is the technology and that's right but he's pointing out here about the wallets so obviously that's the thing that he's telling us about.

There's a lot of problem with blockchain.com wallet so if that's the best for others, it isn't for many. It's a wise idea if you will get to know other wallets where it has been proven to be a good wallet and does have minimal issues.

It's more advisable to use hardware wallet when it comes to storing a lot of cryptocurrencies. I can't say that those wallets are the best wallet for storing cryptocurrency because there are still cases that some people lose their funds after storing their coins on that wallet. In terms of security its better to use hardware wallet like ledger nano s and in our country we have a trusted wallet that has a lot of features which is the coins.ph. Based on my experience on using Coins.ph I can say that it is safe to use and and you can ensure that all your funds are secured

Coinbase is way off and dangerous because they give users only 50% access to the funds they have on the wallet, any wallet that refuse to give users private key or recovery phrase for backup they can't be trusted

As for me, it's Freewallet. There are like really a lot of pros. Free transaction between users, high-security level, you can also buy BNB there.

There's no strong reason why you put Coinbase in your top wallet when in fact it is an exchange wallet, I will never store my coins in any exchange even if it is secure it, nor recommend it to store your coins, if you don't own the key you don't own the coins, and that's a fact.

usually that's the case but there are some people who did secure their private key poorly and it's better for them to save up their money in exchange. Despite all the falws it has exchange like coinbase still have the security for a newcomers or people who are really new to cryptocurrencies while saving up to our private wallet which the privkey we owned is for people with knowledge regarding crypto.

I also use coinbase, but i also use mobile wallet mycelium for bitcoin, and instead if trezor i use ledger nano hardware wallet. I see a user say Freewallet is good, i use them for a token and they never give access to it even after was supported so i don't know but if you not hold the private keys then you not own the coins so better choose another wallet where you and only you have the private keys.

I also used trust wallet and coinomi wallet. It's not bad. I have no experience about Trezor wallet. Can anyone tell me about the Trezor?

Coinbase is number one in your list but the fact is you never hold your keys thats the sad part of it. Its not advisable to store your coins in such wallet/exchange unless you're not concern with your coins and its fine for you to take the risk.

Im using blockchain for years already since I strated in crypto and didnt get any problem. Im also using our local wallet for cashout purposes because its convenient and less fee.

for daily usage, i recomended coinbase and coinomi, both of them is easy to use and rich feature.
for investment i use paperwallet you can go here https://walletgenerator.net/, and use raw transaction for submit tx id if you need, or you can use android wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet&hl=en, support segwit wallet too, easy to use and you own your privekey

I personally think the use of the wallet depends on the user, maybe if you use a third-party wallet then you have to find a platform that is good for security and responsibility issues. and we need to store important files in our wallet safely and privacy.
