what you think guys , before halving , after halving , no bull run

No one knows for sure but based on the market history of Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin always went up at least 1 year after the halving so there's a high chance that it might happen again. Just keep on holding and buying during the dips because I strongly believe that the bullish market will come and no one can stop it.

IMO, most pumps start after halving. In 2016, halving on bitcoin happened, and a high pump started in 2017. It can be the same as now. by 2020 maybe the price of bitcoin will go up because of the halving effect, but the actual pump can occur in 2021. Besides that, ETH 2.0 also seems to have the effect of pushing altcoin for the pump before halving. it can balance the increase that can occur so that the increase in crypto prices is not dominated by bitcoin.
however, there will be a price increase in 2020, and I think a potential increase will also occur after halving occurs.

   Nobody knows answer on this question. Most of predictions we see are just reflections of individual opinions and believe, but in
fact people are just guessing.
   I'm optimistic about next bull run. We are in the bear period for almost two years, new bull run can be really close from this point
now, maybe just couple years of patience and we will see that happening.

We have to look at the history of bitcoin when halving happens. Halving in one year makes the price of bitcoin increase. Maybe this will be the start of the bull run for bitcoin. But that is only a prediction, we can only wait. Whales can also manipulate the market according to what they want to get multiple benefits from this annual BTC halving event.

We can only wait and there is nothing we can do now other than hold bitcoin that has been purchased, or if you believe the bullrun will come, then now is the time when we have to buy bitcoin. The market usually experience different momentum but the whales level of accumulation, crypto endorsement/legality and the good news with the level of communitysupport are what determine the price of crypto currency in the market.

After halving the market experience some ridiculous surge in price i.e a new all time high are usually achieve within a year then market correction/ occur happen again i.e an occasion where people sell their holding in other to secure their new profit but this is also an occasion to buy in dip either while inexperienced investors/traders make lost for not converting their into genuine stablecoin.

No one know when bull run will happen. Only you can think that bull run can happen in 2019/20/21. But actual date is unknown.so don't ask when bull run,when crypto will be boom. If you are trader try to trade and make money from it.   

don't know but my observation before halving it can happen ,its not certain because difficult to predict the bullrun suddenly and no one knows that the condition is bullrun ,it's good you should add crypto in your portfolio for bullrun later mate waiting for bullrun to arrive should prepare a lot of ammunition from now

Bitcoin halving approx will happen on may 2020, if you look the history of bitcoin price since it was first introduced from 2009 until now, you can see the pattern is always same. The bull run happened after halving (approx 1 year after halving) so, you can expect it will be bull run a year after halving happened.

Am surprised with the May 2020 speculation again, I thought I heard it will come earlier because of the increase hash rate this year. Was that just a distraction?



Bullrun definitely not before halving. Our first breakthrough will be the ATH price breaking after the halving and that what am looking for.

If you search this forum you will get hundreds or even thousands of threads with the same topic asking when is the next bull run, if anyone was able to predict that correctly then they will be settling somewhere near the beach and will have a fun time, so rather than speculating what the future holds with many variables in the path of rally i am not too confident we will see a rally like we saw in the past but rally is inevitable after halving.

When we will be very close to the halving time and I guess the bullrun will come the bitcoin. I have been learning the bullrun pattern caused by the halving and we have been seeing how the impact that has already made caused by the halving of litecoin. I think that's when Bitcoin no longer plunges to strong support of $ 7k for a long time. This is a very good signal that the bulls are very strong in pushing prices above $ 7k and hope this will sustain.
If this is sustained, it will lead to a new trend, we can expect the price of bitcoin to rise to $ 20k again. That cannot be confirmed after and before what will happen, I have more faith in my own opinion and after haliving something will happen changes in the price of the bull run will come at the same time, because bearish is finished this year, hopefully there will be no decline like when this.

I expect next year it will happen, But we don't said the exact month on next year. Bitcoin is a volatile cryptocurrency so it will raise and fall at anytime and most of the altcoins are follow the Bitcoin way so total market is still believe the Bitcoin. After halving surely there will be an uptrend on the crypto prices. But I can't give any assurance for this will happen,with the historical data of price this is likely to be happen.

There must be a bullrun because I'm already broke. Well the chart says there will be bullrun after all its a cycle of crypto, this is the last halving by the way so there will be not halving after this and we may not be seeing this cycle once again. We already started seeing bulls after the price bounce when it hit $3k. We are already in the uptrend for months.

Future of markets like equity trading (S&P 500) that run on some fundamentals cant be predicted, so how can we predict future of BTC that has no fundamentals. BTC has a history, whenever he wanna run, he runs. We must stop following price predictions of BTC, just buy on dip and HODL.

If you are saying it right now and can you tell me about how litecoin was facing the different trend like what already explained by you.Okay, in the all time chart the price of the coin after halving will increase significant but it's not happening with litecoin right now. That means if halving is not always creating FOMO.

After the halving in 2020, the bull market will come eventually. The reasons for the bull market and reasons for the bear market don't contradict each other but the market conditions don't let the investors make smart decisions. The Bullrun will come in the next 2 years, from my understanding but the timing of the market is not right at the current moment.

We really can't tell when the bull run gonna happen because normally it will come surprisingly, we just have to be patient in waiting because i'm sure it will really come. Lets just enjoy what we can enjoy on todays price or you can buy more coins knowing that the price now is a bit cheap.

I am not certain whether the bull run will come before halving or after halving. Nobody is sure about it, if you are expecting one in relation to the event. It may happen though that there will not be a bull run in relation to the reward halving in the coming year, although I am very positive that one will come. We have seen that before, we will probably see it again soon. If it won't come, no worries because there will always be a bull run. It may not be related to the halving though.

Its really hard to speculate when would be the next bull run happens but in my own thinking by the coming 2020 market will certainly duplicating the price movement of 1st quarter of 2019 experiencing more pumps and dumps.

I think that should happen in the next couple of years. Unfortunately market has to take some time to recover, and it won’t happen in a year or even two years after disastrous price decrease on many cryptocurrencies. Usually, it takes more than 5 years in classic economy to get things going up. If you are going to analyze all time Bitcoin’s price, then you will find out that BTC increases it's value almost every year. So we have entered into another cycle and it’s important to be patient and wait until market recovers. first bitcoin go then altcoins follow.

This is a question that I think is very funny :D no one is able to say accurately when the time for Bull run arrives unless he/she is able to see the future.  but the majority predict Bull run will occur in 2021, we better follow the predictions of the majority.

Definitely after halving. Question is how much after. Half year. a year or a year and a half.  However you look we are quite far from it. No reason to bother with it much. Just enjoy quiet times as long as you can.

Funny in a way that many are always asking this but actually no one can answer it accurately because no one knows it. And they should also stop asking it when because there's no way to know when it's exactly come.

We can have presumptions about the possible scene in the future but it's no assurance that it will be the situation. Like when I'm newbie, when I've heard of speculations, I'm easily believed with those by I found it that not all of them to be accurate.

Everyone keeps asking this same question. The thing you guys don't realize is that we're up 100% from the beginning of the year. Who is to say it's not happening already? Even during a bull run, there are still dips both up and down. It's just over the long run, the price trends upwards. Much like it's doing right now and all this year. Perhaps we're already in a slight bull run?

We already witness what happened on the last halving , 2 months after the halving btc starting to recover then it continued till 2017 where bitcoin ATH reached, maybe it will happen again next year.

Well, I also think that most likely the biggest pump will occur after halving. however, before halving, it is likely that there will be a slow rise in crypto especially bitcoin. the problem is, we don't know the exact time when the price will actually pump after halving, it can even happen in 2021

I honestly do not know when will the uprise would occur. The market value still is not moving in the positive direction which do frustrate many investors at this moment. There are indeed assumptions of an increase before this year ends but I do not think so given that we are a month a way. If ever there will be a bullrun , I do expect it to happen early next year. So for now I do focus more on waiting than to anticipate absurd expectations.

The fact that in the past halving has caused a price increase doesn't mean it will happen again. If everyone thought that, then the news would be factored into the price well before it actually happened - it would be factored in already.

You say that like there was just one halving, but in fact there were couple of them, and some time after that event the price of bitcoin raised exponentially. Why to not happen again, supply is going down, demand even if it stays the same will lead to price rise, and we can be positive that demand will grow with years, interest in bitcoin is rising every day on the global stage. We will see some bull run after the halving, not right away of course, but will it be a big bull run, or some small, we need to wait and see.

The price in the old ones increased after halving. However, there is always the possibility that the old ones will not repeat in this uncertain market. I think the price will increase before halving, then this increase will slow down a bit (maybe it may decrease) and then it will increase again. Nevertheless, this is a prediction based on nothing, and we must wait for having time.

You could clearly see the last halving took another year for the price to increase, it was when 2017. When we're seeing another bull run back then and every prices were also increased. No idea if it's gonna repeat its history again, but there's a possibility that it'd be the same. Still, everything's possible. It might happen sooner or later.

There are still cows running before the halving event, even now. As you know, every financial market must go through strong declines and then form a new uptrend. so did bitcoin, its $ 6k5 price did not last more than 4 days and the price of bitcoin pushed very high. then in the coming days, if the price of bitcoin can break through the $ 8k mark, we can expect it to continue growing to $ 9k6. Actually no one knows exactly when it happened because the moment happened usually when there was something "big". I mean, something that could affect the demand for buying in large quantities, could be caused by halving btc or there was good news about bitcoin, now legal or something else.

Looking at history,  I'm still very positive that the rally will start just before the halving with prices moon-shooting after.  Although,  many analysts are calling a bull-run already,  I think we still need to test the 5.5k to 6k levels and possibly go even lower before the real rally commences.

Before halving, you will see a surge in the price of the entire crypto market. But the problem that I'm quite worried about is that people only focus on buying bitcoin and selling alts to buy bitcoin, creating a huge demand and pushing the price of bitcoin up but the alts remain stable or down.
If this happens, the Bitcoin dominance will grow too high and the market will have to burst bubbles again. Do you think so?

The bottom was last year/beginning of this year. Keep in mind, in January of just this year, we were at $3700 BTC price. We're now currently sitting over $7700. I would say the bull run has already started. It's just not moving quite as fast as some of you would like. Considering we've been trending upwards all year long, I'd say it's at the very least, a bull market.

I expect that the next bull run would be same with the last bull run
if that's really happening, the bitcoin price would be crazy pumped

I'm not convinced that the halving will have any price effect. In general in crypto if everyone thinks something will have a beneficial effect on price, then it will already be priced in.

   Halving is a huge event for Bitcoin community. At the same price rate miners will have lower rewards, this price will not suit them
more, they will have to upgrade their equipment, some will stop mining. Difficult is rising, rewards are going down, something has
to happen with the price.

If you look at the past market and make these assumptions it is expected that the bottoms are in the final stages but nothing can be far from certain, the market might have a pull back before the real rally and the halving a few months away and hence you cannot expect this is the last pull back.

Yes, I'm also looking forward to the same thing I hope in 2020 many people want to achieve, Bitcoin and Ethereum will be one of the coins that will soar because of the halving news and 2.0, but will the rally come at the beginning of the year?

I'm thinking that a month before halving we're going to have a bull run, although history tells us that a few months after the halving, this is where we experienced a run of bull run, but investors will have the urge to buy more, because they know that the incoming supply will now more lesser than what we've had before, and they investors would want to take the opportunity to buy cheap, because as the adoption progresses Bitcoin will go up.

This is quite unpredictable but hopefully in the near future the bull run will start running. But I believe the halving event will be one of the strong factors helping bitcoin price growth in the long run. Now you can see that the market is changing quite well, it has grown strongly from $ 6k5 $ -7k5 in a few days. so I think bull run will start from now and bitcoin will soon reach $ 8k. or the opposite is true for the retracements, it is likely that bitcoin will fall to $ 4k5 and this is very difficult to confirm on the chart right now. We still need more time to look at the market.

There were very big bull runs after the last two bitcoin halvings. There is no reason to expect this time will be any different. Current low prices in bitcoin and altcoins are a great value to buy more.

Yes bitcoin price might spike after the halving which was happened last time. There is big chance that bitcoin price will go up starting next year.

1 year after halving probably will be the top of the new ATH. But after a few months after the halving we will start see an increased amount of price in BTC.

It has already started. The price of BTC is up 100% from the beginning of this year. If that slow trend continues, then we're certainly in a bull run. I imagine it will start picking up steam and the price will start to climb up a lot faster as we get closer to the halving. After the halving is when it should really take off.

That's what happened last year. Everybody's expecting the market to make a bounce back during the last quarter after a whole year of correction. It's been the trend anyways the the majority of the coins make a run during the last quarter of the year. Then bitcoin and alts took a turn for the worse when everyone's expecting it to make a push. Yes, the past halvings did have a positive effect on BTC in the past, but that's not an assurance at all.

Let's hope that there is bull run after the halving event or just increase at least 50% the price of bitcoin so the altcoins will start bullish so the market would be better.

That's the chance to happen after bitcoin rises up alts will be there to follow. Let's hope that it will not that far to happen maybe first quarter of 2020 before the halving, some pump will be a good sign that things will be positive next year accumulation will take place and most of the traders will continue chasing those cheap coins that they are supporting. Bitcoin is difficult to predict and the coin is currently very easy to manipulate if there is bad news. I think this time needs to be more careful because it is possible that Bitcoin will continue its downtrend in the next few years if it fails to reach $10,000 by the end of this year. If you really sold Bitcoin at $9,000 last month, then you really should have bought back in at around $6600. That's an easy 25% increase or so. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever if Bitcoin hits $10,000 this year or not. The price has been trending upwards for a whole year now. I really don't see it doing anything else for the next little while. Especially with the halving coming up in May.

No one knows this answer but everyone dreams of it! To me, there will be no bull run before the bitcoin halving! Even it will not come immediately, after 6 months of retaining g the real bull run may come, not before.

For me in general it will be before the halving for bitcoin and for the altcoins will follow. Then after halving as well there might be a continuation based on the previous cycle if the history will repeats itself and so both before and after halving is  a good sign of uptrend. No bull run is very impossible lets dumps this market if there will be no bull run at all.

Buying around $6600 is not possible because it has already passed maybe the lowest point is $ 7,000 there you are safe in buying bitcoin, for profit will definitely occur above 20% but if there is a strong hold until May I am sure that the profit will be above 50% because many speculate after halving will fly high.

And you must see the chart of litecoin after halving has done and make a comparison with the chart when the halvening has not yet done. You will know the difference between both of the chart.
halving is not directly giving a big impact. The decrease of inflation needs the more time to give the impact.

we all hope to see bulls coming soon. but shortly for a large pump, I don't think it's time yet. true you say we will never know but you, me, and we all must be prepared not to miss the train in the pump.

Probably I will be expecting bullrun to fully initiate on middle o 2020, because if it would be happen early 2020 I think that was still at bearish trend. We need to look closer on more factors that affects the increasing market, in which still having the resistance from many crab mentality people. The all wanted Bitcoin to go down, thus making it harder to achieve the better value.

Even if we tell this for how many times, many are just speculating to the market. They wouldn't buy at the lowest but they would buy at the highest because they see it moving on. That's the other strategy of other speculators in the market, if no progress, they wouldn't care but if they start to see the progress, they'll be starting to buy and when it goes down randomly after buying they would look for a reason to blame.

On the contrary, bull run should happen after the halving. But it may take months after that, investors are going to be in the "feeling out" after the halving, so don't expect that the price will magically run to $20k after the halving. It might take years, 2021-2022 is what I'm expecting that a new all time high will be achieved.

We will never know when is the exact bull run to happen. Possible it won't touch to 6k. But, we can think probably after halving so it is only a guess. As we know price is volatile in the market but hopefully we will see an increase of price next year. So in my point, good to hold btc at this time.

I cannot predict too far but I can grasp the current situation based on Bitcoin's price chart. I think we are still facing the bear market and the price of bitcoin could drop to $ 5k in a few days. after that, it will be the end of the year and speculators will often sell off and in early 2020, there will be a recovery from the market.
So my advice now is that we should keep our money and wait for the market to worsen to buy bitcoins and send them to the cold wallet. bring it out in 2020 and sell it.

Based on you there are many people predicting the price of Bitcoin will surely increase after the Bitcoin halving, but as of now, the market situation is completely volatile, which we don't have any clue whether the price of Bitcoin and altcoins will increase or not. Nobody has an exact prediction about the prices.

If you can hold that far it is much better to invest inside when the market is completely dumped, the chance of much higher and quicker profits can take place right after the bounce. You will be in the position where you can sell your initial investment and wait for much better profits with those assets that
you can hold. There's accompanied bounce back after the massive dumped so better to wait and enjoy.

I don't know if the next halving will have the same effect as the previous ones, if there even was a causal one to begin with. 

Best guess?  Bitcoin will start on another bull run some months before the halving.  That would probably be around Jan-Feb of next year, maybe a little later.  But I've been wrong with my predictions in the past.  Sometimes laughably.  I guess I'm *hoping* that happens, but I can't provide a logical reason why it should.  The market is the market, and it's damn hard to know what the future holds.  Impossible even.

Both the years 2013 and 2017 following bitcoin's last two halvings in 2012 & 2016 were very bullish. We can certainly hope that 2021 will be similarly bullish.

It is difficult to say if bull run will happened in 2019 , if it happen then it should be in next 6 days or 10 days max..
if ever it become true then bulls run might be for short run like $14-16K, if bear keep strolling on market then bitcoin to $5000 at anytime!
2020 seems good year for Bitcoin ! BTC

 

it seems like there is no bull run yet this year, the remaining days is too short to create a bull run, probably its just a small pump that could make the price reach up to $10,000 but I won't call it a bull run.

That's too much I guess, $10,000 would be good enough and its a nice to end this year which means price has recovered significantly because the all low this year was between $3200 - $3400, can't fully remember the exact figure.

Okay, let's wait and see what happens in the next 24 days. The December month is here, and the crypto market movements are still lower than expected. There is no chance for the bull run in this month or even in the next 3 months. We both is active here, so, let's wait and let it be clear who was right.

I am also curious of what will happen later because I see that although bitcoin price does not increase so high, the chance is still there and that makes me think that bitcoin price can increase in anytime. No matter if the bitcoin price cannot increase in this month or the next 3 months, I am sure the bitcoin price will increase at the right time. So I agree that we should wait for a while and we will go to see what is happening next with bitcoin.

If there is even a minuscule amount of significant innovation going on with Bitcoin and altcoins, I see the Bitcoin halving causing an increase in price and subsequent bull run for most coins. Because supply reduction with constant demand equals higher prices.

We know that a bull run is going to eventually happen and there are three moments in which it could happen before the halving, during the halving and after the halving and at least to me it is obvious that the bull run cannot happen before the halving we have already went through a decent upward correction during this year, so it has to happen after the halving but how much time it is going to take for the bull run to appear? And I really think that we are not going to see it until 2021.

no one can predict about the price of bitcoin, I think between bull run and decline will always coexist now.  but I think now seeing the price of a bitcoin chart may always increase.  so stay optimistic that bitcoin prices will experience a bull run one day

Like you said yourself "we have already went through a decent upward correction during this year". It's happening already and will continue to happen even past the halving. This seems like the trend that is happening now and the one that has always happened in the past during halving events. I think you'll start noticing it more sometime next year. But, it has already started.

bull or dump is not so focused if we are a day trader. it is true that the market situation is increasing and decreasing every day. when we can take advantage of the best moments, we can benefit even if the market is not in a bull.

before halving,i guess we will have a high bull come, but after halving price going to low , i think it seems like correction.

In my opinion will happen after halving because then will start greed to get more coins and also less bitcoin mined will come on blockchain and will value way more, but we only can wait and see what will happen.

this is the strongest opinion, and I also think about it. If we see halving that happened before, prices up also after halving. so, there is a high possibility that the price of crypto will also pump after that. It would be nice if the price started pumping after a few weeks or months of halving, but, I think that a very high increase is likely to occur in 2021.

The best thing to do is not rely so much on the past and expect spontaneous reasons that is out of our current understanding.

I just think otherwise. Although before halving there will be an increase but it will not happen very high. precisely after halving I think there will be a gradual increase with a stable frequency. prices will strengthen and hopefully, that will also affect overall market conditions.

Indeed, it looks like the pump will not happen quickly even after the halving event but at least the big pump will occur only in a few months after halving and still in 2020. Anyway, as you said if it is the strongest opinion so far and with such great enthusiasm which happens with a process of ongoing development but that is still not enough for bull run to happen in the near future.

This is one of those things in which we really don't have any option but to wait for the events to unfold, it is possible that the market recovery could start now but I am doubtful that is going to be the case because people remember the bull market of 2017 and they attribute that growth to the halving and my reading of the situation is a little bit different, the halving brought some growth to the market but what it made the market to skyrocket was the segwit update.

Expect full after halving there will be a big pumping but at this time there is no sign for bullrun, the market is still in the safe support area in my opinion, but my opinion is full after halving it will happen soon, hopefully what we wish to do is true. You must see what happens with litecoin after halving and a lot of people are selling their litecoin again, Halving is a short term hype and you must not put a very big expectation for halving to doubled the price of the bitcoin as soon as possible. Halving is not always bringing you into the big increase. another fundamental support is needed to do that.

The truth is that it is impossible to know when the next bull run will happen, but since we know that it will eventually happen then we cannot afford to not be in this market when it does, so all of those that are getting out of the market because they are afraid that the price make crash are the same people that when the next bull run happens are going to complain about missing it not understanding that it was their own actions that limited their future prospects.

honestly i do not know when a bull run happen. because this is a question with difficult answer, and i am not a someone can good predict on cryptocurrency. but like statement above i am so excieted when its really happen in may 2020. i will prepare for it to take profit

I suggest you to be careful it is very easy to think that we are going to see a bull run after the halving that it is going to happen in May of 2020 but we are not sure about it, in my limited experience in this market it seems to me that the halving may be priced already, which means that probably not much is going to happen when the halving finally comes, what you need to do is to wait for that bull run regardless of when it happens and when it does your profits will be amazing.

we can indeed learn from repeated history and hope for the possibility of it being repeated again, but so far to wait for our hope that history repeats itself, we must do research to look for small profits before large profits. so let the time answer because now we can only hope and look for opportunities that exist

No one knows when the bull market will start. I have read a lot of predictions from 2018 until now and they say that the bull market will start soon. But until now, the bear market is still here and still makes many investors lose. So I don't think there will be any signs of a bull market in 2020 either

Two times we can expect the bull run in the price market. First in the first quarter we can find the bump like we see every year. Next one at the time of halving we can see the price growth for sure but that will fall in the September month only.
When there is growth please utilise the coins and sell it at the perfect time.

well most of the predictions in 2018 did not come to 2019 but in coming 2020 there are many things we can expect specially the bull coming.

Many expects to see bull run to happen when there is halving. The point is we do not know yet when it will be, but of course there is a positive note that a good thing to explode in crypto. Well that’s a good also to sell our coin when their is profit.

Halving is the obvious thing that everyone is talking about, but I'm sure that we won't see a sudden increase exactly when halving happens - most likely it has already been (or is currently being) priced in. Everyone expects an increase, and buyers and sellers are both aware of that.

I think we can think of bull run from now on.  I was also surprised that Bitcoin's price continued to pump sharply when it touched $ 6k5.  This shows that buyers are very willing to spend a lot of money on bitcoin and they are expecting 2020 to be a powerful pump.  when the crowd is so big we won't be able to fight them and I believe bitcoin will soon exceed $ 9k in Q1 2020. so this is a good time for us to buy bitcoin and hold it until  Halving.

We don't necessarily have to look that far ahead. What about the price rises we are seeing right now? Bitcoin has bounced back very strongly from a lower support line, and we are seeing a strong recovery now. If bitcoin can push through $8k, I think that might mark the start of another bull run. No one dont know exactly. But it should happens definitely. As shows previous bullrun were happened before halving (started) and than had countinued for 1 year after halving. So next year should be a start of new bullrun...

Bull run will definitely happen but we cant exactly tell when. Halving can be an indication but still there's no assurance so we cant rely to this event next year.

We need good news to affect the price. Waiting for it to happen can cause stress so I keep myself busy to avoid monitoring the market often, lets enjoy this holiday season and forget the market for a while.

I doubt anyone has a clue when we will see another bull run again, lots of anticipation of bull run happening this year end but from the look of things it is uncertain, the way i see it, bull run will likely take people by surprise, when everyone list expect it, it will occur, we can only hope it happens.

Now the bull run is showing signs of starting. I was quite excited when 2 times saw BTC hit the support of $ 6k4 and turned up immediately. This makes me feel like the sharks are not accepting the price of bitcoin lower, they will be willing to push its price high before the halving event takes place. so I believe the cows are hiding a lot, it's waiting for a good time to start an explosion. We should be psychologically prepared now and start buying bitcoin, 2020 will be a glorious year for fans of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency.

I am optimistic that there will be a bull run before halving starts. But there is no assurance. There is always the tendency that those whales that wanted to dump big will be releasing because they know that people are hoping for a bull run. Whatever happens, Bitcoin will remain a good investment because the supply is becoming more difficult and its demand is growing. 

I'm also very optimistic even though there are no guarantees to come true. and I think this increase will occur after halving, maybe 2 months after, then there will be an increase. before that happens it's clear I'm sure the big whales will try dumping btc prices to the lowest point after which they pump as high as possible, as happened in 2017.

we will not return to the lowest point. now the market is getting ready for halving from bitcoin. but I think the effect of the price increase will be seen immediately. unlike halving that has happened to LTC or other altcoins which are considered to have failed to make the market pump.

I could suggest that we better not chase nor expect Bullrun now, it comes to us momentarily which no one will know.

sit and wait? can you do it I hope there will be a pump to help each of my investment assets have a better value? but I won't just wait. I would rather spend my time with altcoin and daily trading because it is more exciting than having to wait for a pump for a long time.

If you are good at reading charts and making TA for the market then go explore the market and make as much profit you want. But if you have no idea or lack of experience in trading then it would be better to hodl your crypto currency and wait for the right time to sell.

Yeah don't just sit, relax and watch the price of bitcoin there are so much value outside of bitcoin ecosystem, there's the alternative altcoins that has the potential of decent profit with proper approach. Bitcoin is expected to explode next year since the bitcoin halving is going to take place next year which has a chart based prediction and most likely to be real. It's been a year since bitcoin does not reach the $8 to $9 price range, so maybe next year it will do.

If it's gonna happen at all, a year or two after halving is likely. Past data shows that within two years after halving there are always a bull run. Let's hope the same trend happens in this halving.

But it's also possible that there may be nothing at all after the halving, just boring sideways. If that what's happen, I don't know if alts ever gonna have bull run again.

   Here on forum majority agrees that year or two after the halving is the time when we can expect bull run. It's the most frequent
prediction, and I can agree that is the most reasonable.
   I here to stay, and I plan to keep my crypto-investments for years. I say that cause in 5 years we will have one more halving.
So let's not stress too much about it, let's patiently wait what will happen.

I just thinking like that as the halving time will bring the impact for the long term. I don't expect that to happen next year and i believe after the halving time and there will be a short term dump in the bitcoin market. The halving needs take a lot of time to show its impact to the price of bitcoin or even whole of market.

I know that what happened during 2019 was not really what people were expecting, everyone wanted to get amazing profits and they are disappointed by the results, still we cannot deny that 2019 was a very positive year if you have been holding your coins for a very long time and it is precisely because of it that I have my doubts that the bull market is going to begin in 2020 and it is way more likely that the bull market that everyone is waiting for will come until 2021.

I think that the market is not ready for a real bull run, halving is really a very important event for Bitcoin, but not so much as to send it to the Moon. It is necessary to carefully monitor state policy regarding cryptocurrencies, as soon as it becomes more loyal, then our chances will double. And even the adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender will launch next bull run.

First, the next bull run will happen since it has always happened so many in the past. And the industry is still very much nascent and the big wigs hasn't really fully immersed into crypto yet. And once they do, it will be very obvious in the end.

The halving of Bitcoin may occur on the second of May 2020, as happened in the previous years of 2012 and 2016, and the ends of these years were followed by an increase in Bitcoin profits, Historically, the bull run is likely to have occurred after halving of bitcoin in late this year, or even next year, We have set expectations that may or may not happen and let us not hurry, we need to increase our currencies amounts and wait.

The halving will affect the arrival of the bull market in all conditions, the recent bear market will find its end sooner. The bull market will bring the top cryptos back to the top 100 CMC list, I estimate around 2022.

Everyone has a different answer for that but no one can give 100% correct answer to this question. There are many paid trading groups that give signals of the bull run but it is highly recommended to avoid them as they are total wastage of money. I have been to one such group and ended up losing money only. Use your own logic to see when its best to buy and sell bitcoin.

We know that but the key to all of this is to try to figure out when that will happen, many are placing their bets on the halving that will happen during the next year but I have profound doubts about it since I do not think the whales are going to try to pump the market just when everyone is expecting them to do it, if they do that they could easily be the ones that lose their money and the whales are not in this business to lose a huge amount of money to small investors.

just because some signal group is bad, it doesnt mean all signal group is bad. We cant generalize that. We have to understand that some people cant predict so they follow the signal for learning. I also do that, so I can know how to predict by looking signal group.

If you are saying it for bitcoin and that mayb be true as the halving is near us but when that is for the altcoin and i just feeling doubt if that will be happening shortly. there is no a strong indicator that can tell us about the estimation time to arrive for the bull of altcoin. it can't be predicted

but we do have to wait for the bitcoin pump first to see altcoin grow, because most of the altcoin bullrun is influenced by bitcoin. so far we are waiting for the bullrun movement on bitcoin which has the possibility when halving happens, so we have to wait first

That's too long, we want a bull run this year, it's been awhile since we haven't witness that, if there is no bull run, at least some recovery on the price.
Altcoins were down big time, so maybe a little increase would make this year a wonderful year even if there's no new ATH for our favorite coins.

I think that mid 2020 is too early for any serious bull run, short after the halving we will see some chaos on the market, some miners will get fewer bitcoins as rewards, some of them will quit mining, some will need to sell to upgrade their mining equipment, their actions will affect the price, but once everything settle and operations come back to normal, as demand grows and with lower supply we can expect some significant price rise. That bull run I am talking about can push the price to the new ath, but that can be expected only after 2021.

Investing in the promising coin can be our preparation before we will face the bull trend again, i have been doing it and keep invest more and more in credits as to anticipate the next bullish trend.

I am of the same opinion, and this is also backed by the recent history of the market, after the previous halving we saw a small increase in the price which was not really that impressive, but it was not until the next year when we saw some real action and it is possible the halving that will happen during this summer will also follow the same pattern, besides we had a small bull run during 2019 and most investors have already used their fiat and they need some time to accumulate more.

Actually, there are plenty of expectations for this year 2020. The pump of bitcoin and recovery of market are still one of their expectations for this year. Even we do not see any rising price last year maybe we should still expect this year 2020 especially if the bitcoin halving comes. No one knows when the bull run comes but I know that this coming many events this year might be triggered the market to have another bull run.

Altcoins will not truly gain independence until the market has enough liquidity to detach itself from bitcoin. Until then well just keep switching back and forth everytime Bitcoin moves up or down. I realize altcoins has the potential to go up in bigger percentages, which means higher returns, so higher risk. at this current market cap, it is almost impossible for bitcoin to 5-10 times it's value in less than 2021, Thereby we should at least wait until 2021.

I am very curious where do you get such confidence in the price of cryptocurrencies? For a thousand people predicting prices, it's possible that you'll be the one who succeeds, but the truth is that the bull run can start even in a week and nobody can do nothing with it.

At this point anything can happen, we are seeing some early signs the bulls want a bull run to happen and they want the price to go up but they are going to face many difficulties and one of them to me is that some whales do not want that to happen, for them the price has not go down enough and they may like for the market to crash even more and if I am correct with my reading of the situation there is no doubt they will get their goal and bitcoin will go down in price instead of up.

Looking at historical data, bull run always came a few months after the halving event. If we assume that it will happen again this time, then the next bull run should start around October or November.

If that would happen, it's okay if in the first 3 quarters the market will continue to struggle or will just remain the same last year.
Bull run in a short period of time would already result to a big success in the market, just like what happened to the 2017 bull run, it only need less than 3 month for the bull run and everyone enjoys that time, except those who bought at the peak.

It will not happen until later of 2020 maybe even 2021... There has to be a punishment for this year's greed and it will be way too soon for whales to let people go off with their 10k+ shopping. I feel when the BTC halving arrives, the price will go up fast because the whales will buy bitcoin, the amount of supply has been reduced, like when halving in the previous year.

This is something that I have been thinking for a very long time, everyone is so positive about what the market is going to do next and they are so sure that the bull run will happen as predicted that I have great doubts that will happen, the whales cannot allow everyone to profit from them so if they can they are going to manipulate the market so it goes down instead of up, people are going to worry about it, they will sell their coins for a low price to the whales and then the bull market will appear.

happened immediately I don't think it was that fast. although the supply has decreased but it is most felt is a miner. but there will be an effect on the market price of bitcoin. but not in a very short time.

We can see that for bitcoin right now the price is going up and down and with the current price compared to 2018 which is declining, bitcoin prices are always going up, so it is certain that the bull run will definitely come, especially if after halving, the price of bitcoin will soar.

In this case, I doubt the bull run would happen after September. I prefer to buy the BTC and promising altcoin bags before the halving for the idea of buy before news and dump after the news. In another meaning, smart speculators buy rumors and sell the fact for applying their tricky plans.

Certainly, i believe people that are expecting the bull run market to happen now are impatience because bull run never happen at the first Q1 of every year of bitcoin halving and if it happen now that mean the market is manipulated by the whales and such trend will lead to some market correction before it halving.

Actually, bullrun can occur anytime. Some factors can overpower the technicalities of the current market. Even if the market is on its lowest status, when the whales wants to change the situation, they can do that. But if we are refering to technical analysis of experts, then I may say that you are correct when you said 2020 will be the year of market recovery.

Is this a running market or is it just a pump that goes into the market and then falls again? bull run does not occur with a sudden situation. requires strong market power and that will certainly occur in several stages. let some improvements occur and a stronger market for bull survival can occur. and the situation is far from current market conditions.

Market conditions have improved slightly, but this is not enough for the bulls to start running, moreover the market is not growing much anymore and sometimes falling.

It's normal to see there people getting out in the market because they want to cut their loses, not everyone of us are willing to take a high risk of still holding even seeing that our holdings have already loss 90% of its original value, others would think it's a failure already but we always think optimistic for recovery and a bull run again.

I am optimistic that before halving begins, there will be a bull run. But there is no guarantee. There is always a tendency to release those whales who wanted to dump big because they know people are hoping for a bull run. Whatever happens, Bitcoin will remain a good investment as the supply becomes harder and its demand grows. Sooner or later it will become world currency.

In the past, bull run was always coming some time after halving, so we still have a lot of time. However, this time it doesn't have to be this way. The price chart from last month looks very positive and many people might think that the bull run is starting now. However, the story tells us that the bull run always starts after the halving event, so in my opinion we should be patient and wait until May to find out if this is the beginning of bull run, or is it just a bull trap.
