The Bitcoin Cash community is planning on testing a beta Telegram tipping bot  “Tipmebchbot”. This bot enables Telegram users to tip other users using BCH. With this development, 2020 might the price surge and by the end of the year, Bitcoin cash price (https://coinpedia.org/price-prediction/bch-bitcoin-cash-price-prediction/) might reach $4000 USD.

$4000 by 2020? that's crazy! forget about this fork and stop predicting that much with an imitation of real bitcoin. Just because there's going to be a bot that allows you to tip on telegram it will surge the price? that's a high expectation.

I am 100 percent sure that we will not see a price of $ 4000 for Bitcoin Cash, but if they really create such a system for using their coin, then the price will definitely increase. perhaps you will earn 100-200 percent on the growth of this coin.

Never ever  ;D . BCH is a good altcoin but nothing in the world would make it cost 4000 bucks during the next year. We need a miracle for BTC to cross 20k and for ETH to be over 400, so BCH is not the most obvious investment right now.

Are you kidding or it was a serious post? I am really confused. Creating a tipping bot how can boost the coin price? I have no idea, man. Do you know the Parjar tip bot? With your logic, Parjar coin should have hit 1$ per coin! Mate, this is not a big or unique technology, it's just a tool for the community. This development will not help in BCH price, but yet BCH has the potential to hit at least 1K USD in 2020, 4K is a daydream from my side.

I know fees are much lower with bch than with btc, but are they going to be low enough for a functional tipbot?  Also, other coins like doge have already been used for that purpose and they haven't exactly been popular, tho on the doge subreddit that tipbot does (or did) get used.  I'm also not sure how much tipping is going to happen because the concept really doesn't work out in practice.

Even if it *did* work out, there's no way it would drive the price of bch up to $4000, and definitely not by 2020.  There is a chance bch could reach that price at some point next year, but bitcoin itself would have to start up a massive bull run for that to happen.  Bch isn't going to get there on the strength of a single tipbot.

I don't think it's likely tho.  What's bch at right now?  Under $300.  So obviously it would have to rise by many multiples, and the bullish sentiment isn't there now and probably won't be there next year.

i think telegram bot not effect the bch prices. its not a product, its not a development stage. any scriptkiddies can make something with telegram.

$4k value is too much for this coin and tipping bot it won't help BCH to increase in value. The possible reason why the price of BCH increase in the following year it's because of Blockhalving. I believe that this is will be the reason why the price of BCH will increase but $4k is too much maybe around $1k is much possible to be happen compared to $4k value.

To be honest, I don't know if BCH will reach that price though, would love to see it getting into 4 digit. And I don't understand why having a Telegram tipping bot will suddenly put the price to $4k. Unless there's some magic behind it that investors starts to put their money on BCH.

Bitcoin cash or any of the altcoin growth is much associated with the growth of bitcoin. In this regard what's been stated above is the reality. To experience $4000/Bitcoin Cash we need our bitcoin to touch $40k -$50k. It is simply hard to experience such magics, but it can happen same as that of the year 2017.

BCASH community is getting serious with their development, I have a feeling that BCash is likely going to outperform BTC in the next bull run, what BTC guarantees is that it is going to be the last man standing, so if Cryptocurrencies are going to die, we are likely to see Bitcoin to be the last one to go

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a complete shitcoin. It is way overvalued at its current price of $216, and literally nobody uses it for its intended purpose ('the one true Bitcoin').

Instead, BCH with its huge blocks which are mostly empty, is mostly used as a speculative instrument, which is losing value because people are starting to realize it has little utility.

Absolute scaling without a user base is meaningless, just look at Zilliqa, Nano and XLM.

John McAfee made a prediction a few years back that Bitcoin will touch $1,000,000 per coin level by 2020. We are less than a month away from 2020, and till now there have been no sign of any such big price movement. Reaching a price of $4K would be requiring a lot more than integration with Telegram. I agree that Telegram is one of the most popular messaging/social media platforms. But I don't think that it alone can propel BCH to 4K level.

whether it's true or not, I think your expectations are too high. why so many people are expecting so high, it doesn't hurt but if making a slightly realistic prediction might still be accepted by common sense, for example I predict the price of BCH will touch 500usd and the highest is 1000usd. One thing is for sure the price of bitcoin until next year there will not be a big increase, so bitcoincash will also not experience a high increase.

Yeah they are really serious on pumping it to outweigh btc but I dont see any further how bch can outperformed btc. BCH is just a fork of it, though improvements have seen gradually with their platform but still the use case of it still the same concept of btc. What would you think if the next bull run arrived? Probably top coins will increase including this, but I think bch will never even beat in terms of market cap the top 2 and 3 of eth and xrp alone.

i think its fair price fo bitcoincash , i am worry if it's price overprice easy to dump in market by whales. For end of 2020 we could not predicted, but i am sure $4000 its too expensive meanwhile there is no important development beside transaction speed. It is impossible to change with BCH according to what was predicted, because it seems unrealistic. I agree with the opinion above, not seeing any good development from BCH, so to be able to reach $ 4K will not be possible to overtake and very difficult. the best thing is probably the highest will be achieved $ 350 even this is the best.

Not sure if it will reach $4,000 due to current market situation and it's just my opinion that BCH will reach a maximum of $500 if things go well. I don't have much experience with BCH as I am more focused on Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON as of now but BCH does have a good development team but reaching $4,000 is something which is not possible to achieve in such a short duration.

What exactly is making the price to surge, is it about the tipping bot you mentioned? Lol, that's not enough to cause the price to surge. And I don't see the price of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) going up without Bitcoin. BTC controls the market the most, so the price of BCH will only have a chance of increase when there is a Bitcoin Bull run. And by the way, it's not even all the coins in the market that increases in price during the Bitcoin bull run, some of them will only crash in price.

For the price of Bitcoin Cash to go up, it depends on the project that are being launched on their platform and how much investors are investing. We will only wait for the right time and see what follows, though I don't look much into that coin, more of my interest goes to BTC.

Yes Rogerver does not promote it to the community for free like Bitcoin was previously issued a faucet that gives free bitcoin, but bch doesn't do that many big holders including rogerver are worried big dumper comes when prices are high  ;D

Bitcoin Cash is not a good project and I don't think it will be more valuable in price in the future. This coin, which has suffered a serious loss of power due to bad market conditions and half-life, unfortunately does not seem to please its investors. I believe that this coin is best to use for trading on the market but not in order to mine it. this project can be destroyed at any time and you will just stay with your equipment. if something happens to this project, you can quickly sell coins. It's going to keep going down in value but reacting to Bitcoin pumps and dumps as well. BCH has been acting like that and is going to continue.

Basically the pattern looks like this:
Bitcoin pumps -> BCH pumps proportionally
Bitcoin dumps -> BCH dumps even more and goes deeper. Usually doesn't recover 100% even when Bitcoin does.
Bitcoin stays in a channel and is slow and boring -> the same with BCH with a slight bearish bias

Personally, I believe that the Bitcoin exchange rate will achieve great changes in 2020 and it will be possible to grow up. Since in 2019, the Bitcoin exchange rate has been holding steady for almost more time. And I believe that these are the prerequisites for the great growth of Bitcoin in 2020.

I agree with you I don't see exact predictions in any coins available in the market since I think it all other major coins still depend in the market flow of BITCOIN itself. Though there are some other manipulation on other coins but still it won't affect much on BTC flow.

Bitcoin Cash has always been the top coin and many have invested including me, but what does the OP say there will be a surge for Bitcoin Cash at the end of the year is still speculative in my opinion especially with the large reach of $ 4000 what about the price of bitcoin if BCH $ 4000? although the prediction is for next year or 2020 at least if a bullish trend can happen then a big pump is likely to happen as well, but it is only a prediction and hope because we still have to wait about the trend that will happen next year after halving. so for now i don't think we need to expect anything very high because for achieving a more significant trend will require a long process

May be next year halving time we can expect the decent growth on bitcoin as well as other altcoins but presently there is no expectations on bitcoin because of current down trend of the cryptocurrency market.

The fork happened because they had a different view of scaling and i am not sure how they are doing right now and what are the volume they are having but the only thing i see is that the valuation increase along with bitcoin and hence i do not see any huge rally in BCH as they move according to the valuation of bitcoin and i am not sure how big it can go and i do not see any hype in it right now.

Bitcoin Cash is not comparable to the leading altcoins. It is honestly a weak altcoin even if it is on the top 10. The hype around Bitcoin Cash is only founded on their claim as the real Bitcoin. Whatever price it is with BCH, I would still expect that gracefully when increasing trend starts to fulfill more efficient movements. Bitcoin Cash has never really had any purpose beyond simple speculation. It's use-case is based on certain things that it does better than bitcoin - but there wasn't really a gap in the market there, there are other coins that already fulfill those purposes better than does BCH.
I really can't see any reason for it to continue in the long-term, it's 100% speculation on this coin.

I don't think that will affect the Bitcoin spike. then where can you get this news? is there a news link that I can read? because I doubt the telegram bot made by the BCH development team. I mean maybe it's another project that uses BCH for tips.

I think until at least the end of the year we're going to see the same as we've been seeing. Somewhere around $220-$230 is where I figure it will end the year. Sometime early next year we'll probably see it start to rise closer to the $300 price point and even higher towards the end of next year. I don't see the $4,000+ I have been seeing other people quoting any time soon.

That $4,000 is just too much when the market is not yet ready for the bull run. So $200 to $300 is the closest price we will ever see for BCH. We just have to expect the price according to the trend of the market because that's the closest we will get the closest price for prediction.

That will be hard for bitcoin cash to reach $4000 in 2020, but that could be possible to happen. But I never predict bitcoin cash to increase higher, but I might be wrong at this moment. But if we take a look at bitcoin cash history in 2017-2018, bitcoin cash price already reaches $4000k, but at that time, the bitcoin price is more than $15000. So if bitcoin cash wants to increase the price to the higher price, it will need to wait for bitcoin price increase first, then bitcoin cash price will follow.

It all depends on BTC price, bitcoin cash may not be able to reach such amount unless bitcoin pumps again. Year 2017 ATH is way too high that is hard to beat in these days that market is being manipulated and been regulated by many countries and states. If BCH will find a way to be adopted without BTC increasing then it can be but it's still doubtful as it all based in BTC price.

That's too high to anticipate now. But with their tipping bit i don't think it will be the reason for the price to surge and it is not that to big development after all, maybe in the near future they will going to have another update other than that. For me $500 first should be attain before predicting for the higher one. I am not a fan of having a long term price prediction until the major resistance will become broken.

I would be surprised if the price of bitcoin cash will move in the same pattern this time around but i missed those opportunities when it touched its all time valuation because i sold my coins well before that as i wanted to hold my coins in bitcoin and it never disappointed me as it earned me a good profit, the coming rally is a test for many coins in the market as we will see what all coins will move higher.

The last time I checked on bitcoin cash, is still trying to breath in some air out of the bearish market. Having such mindset that the price will skyrocket to $4000 due to the telegram bot advancement is very delusional. Not all altcoin that demands our  hyping in such manner.

If that thing would happen that Bitcoin cash price value will reach up until $4,000 that will surely be awesome to happen. But just by a short span of time and by the year 2020? It sounds and seems to be impossible to happen for such an altcoin to reach beyond the limit of improvement and to go near the price of the leading cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin that up to this moment is playing on $7000-$8000 price range and just keep on going up and down every single moment of time. Added by the fact that we are also seeing that the market is currently down, how can it be that possible that Bitcoin cash price value will reach that amount by just 2020. It sounds pretty awesome but I think that was beyond reality. Seriously speaking. But if that will truly happen, that will surely be a historical record for an altcoin to reach such amount within a short span of time.

BCH had rage similar to the big altcoin blasts with massive pump-ups for early 2018 with ~ $ 2k5 and a market cap of almost 40 billion at the time(coinmarketcap).
