Title: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019
Post by: Byakuga on December 11, 2019, 09:16:16 AM
Here are some projects that get listed on exchanges but ignore bounty hunters and airdroppers like they don't exists

1. Sparkpoint
2. Decimated
3. Nestree
4. Sero
Etc.

Any one has a solution to make this stop? if developers can't keep their promises even when they raise fund successful why needing how help to create awareness then?

There are so many cases like this, they might do that because they don't want their token prices to fall, but take it easy they will need us later, when the market really starts to recover their project needs bounty hunters to campaign their projects and compete with others, they will spend a lot of money for it, but be hypocritical of them and leave these projects to be their lessons, so just wait for the time when they will come like a beggar begging us bounty hunters

I was expecting to read about project development when I read the title and not a bounty related concern.

Anyway, the best thing for you to do is make your case in the Reputation or Scam accusation board. Do you have enough proof that they have ignored the hunters? Nobody can actually solve the problem other than the bounty hunters themselves. Do not expect anyone or the forum to do things for you.
Make a good case as I said already and/or create a flag against these projects you mentioned. Do you know how to do that?

wow you nailed it, bounty hunters are been played now because of the present market condition, I hope by 2020 new wave of market movement will start happening and no doubt bounty hunters will be needed and maybe cherish and not treated like shit

The list will go on if it will be regarding bounties and airdrop as many projects weren't able to pay since they may already lose upon getting listed or they just simply don't have intention to put budget to pay. If they were able to succeed or gain in their ICO they should atleast pay their hunter even they are not listed yet.

If you want to really  list any one of them there more of fraud i seen this 2019 sometimes they also IEO from un popular exchnage. They failed after the crowdsale finish and cant even make the price at ICO/IEO price.

I know only SERO projects and I can say for sure that for bounty hunters all payments were done correctly. most likely you just did not fulfill all the conditions that were set by the project creators or bounty managers. My rewards are in my wallet and I have been making a profit for a long time.

I know those are not the only projects that failed to deliver. Of over three thousand crypto currencies, for sure more than half of them delivered nothing but broken promises. The sad part is it is getting clearer now that teams and developers launched projects for money purposes. They took advantage of the decentralized and unregistered style of gathering funds. There were only few of these scammers went to prison.

Have you talked to administrators? If these are not scammers, they should give an answer why they do this. Because the reason may be different and may come from you, for example if you registered incorrectly or did not go through any additional procedures.

Personally, I think that there are a lot of projects that did not keep their promises. And the developers who created these projects did not expect such forecasts on the cryptocurrency market. And most projects just blown away like a soap bubble. And the investors who invested turned out to be bankrupt. I believe that we need to focus on creating a certain society that will follow the newly created projects. And then it will be possible to secure all users and investors. And this will provide an opportunity to participate in promising new projects.

It often happens to be ignored, maybe the developer is still looking for a solution for how to distribute to the bounties and airdrop so that their tokens do not go down, so the developer is always delaying and not keeping his promises.
But if you are patient in waiting for sure they will distribute at the right time.
When does a project like this annoy the hunters because they always devote the bounties.

Title: Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019
Post by: alani123 on December 11, 2019, 11:50:11 AM
I think that there's still too much room for inexperienced teams to come in and build up a facade just to gather in funds. People should really avoid putting money in ICOs and related presales. The answer to OPs question would be to stop giving money to teams that do pre-sales. If you really have to hold a token do it after it hits exchanges and don't buy from the team behind it.

there is no solution, in the crypto world it is very vulnerable to fraud. we must realize and choose a project that is truly trusted and makes a profit. but for now indeed new projects are a scam I don't believe in them. I better buy bitcoin and wait for several months to get a profit.

These are just a few scam projects in 2019. There are hundreds of similar cases that happened in the last year, I'm really bored with the current bounty situation. We spend a lot of time and effort on their campaigns but as a result we receive nothing. And we have no way to prevent this problem, the only way is to hope the market goes up and many projects implement ICOs and IEOs successfully.

I don't even ever heard those project names, why should the people are keeping their promise, or back to more past, why people are investing their money to those projects. There are still many promising projects from big companies this year and most of them have a great future. Many people get trapped on random projects with no live product and i don't know why people are keep investing on those kind of projects

The control is holding by the team and the team is a greedy party that would not put the funds into the trusted escrow. if they have been showing an indicator ignore the bounty participants and then you must leave from the campaign. there is no something that can we do caused by the team was creating the rules.
Just try spread the awareness about that .
Nestree has become another crap coin and sero soon.
Vidy is also doing the same like sero but it was paying a very small amounts of token worth a few dollars.

To avoid not getting paid from bounties its better to join bounties from better well known or popular bounty managers, I know bubbalex he never failed to distribute to his bounty hunters, there are other good bounty managers as well, forget what is in the past already and focus on the present

That is awful to see and better to post a scam accusation on them so that they will be alerted if there's on of you post those issue up. For sure they didn't want to ruin their project unless they are planning to run away.

And better next as suggested join on the bounties help by reputable manager since they can give an impact for the project and higher chances to get paid especially if they escrowed the allocation intended for the hunters.

Yes you have point dude! that's one reason I stop joining on any altcoin bounty and airdrop  you make a hardwork to promote their project butin the end you make a zero pay or thank you as a payment, we can say that the team are too greedy to pay the bounty hunter.

Although we have followed the prizes handled by the main manager, prize payments are not the managers who did it, the team and the developers will do that and it is their decision that managers only manage after the bounty ends the spreadsheet will be sent to the team for distribution.

This is not the first time we have encountered such bounties and for the most part, the result has not changed at all for hunters. There are a few institutions that you can complain about, but they do not deal with such small issues. The only thing you can do is to inform the forum members with evidence in the Scam accusation section of this forum. This will make people in the forum aware of it, but do not underestimate this forum, almost most crypto enthusiasts are always active here.

not paying the bounty hunter is bad for the future of the product ,the hunter will not be able to trust the product in the future and the conflict will continue so investors will run away from it

that's why we have no choice consider about in the ico marketing campaign and the developer is not acting as an escrow at the same time. But sadly, the manager will always get the bad image caused by the garbage developer. Look at some managers who has been getting neg trust

Good information. indeed lately a lot of projects are too high promises, but not kept. I think projects that don't keep promises like that should be removed from the list of projects to be launched. so that investors do not experience losses before investing.

Indeed, it's sad but it is the reality most of them are made to deceive others particularly those people who doesn't have enough knowledge like newbies. Everything is possible when it comes to money and scammers these days are willing to do anything just to get the benefits they wanted. It is the reason why many of us are in doubt on investing in new projects because there is no assurance that it will be worth it and profitable.

Nestree become failed project? I joined their bounty campaign project manage and look very good ICOs investing but I don't know nestree become failed investing ICOs, I can't sure with big team and experience owner can make Nestree become failed, maybe with effect by bitcoin and altcoin have lower price make many investors not interested for investing with ICOs project.

Cases like that are common nowadays. Many projects cannot keep their promises well to bounty hunters. There are reasons they use, fear of dump prices, and various other things that make drama, allocations cut, distribution delayed, tokens locked, etc. That's the risk we have to face when we are. So to overcome that, choose a bounty campaign that is truly quality, if possible, that already exists in the market, and has a pretty good strength in the market.
Want me to add more lists? there are Ambit, Buddy, Cryptassists, Datablockchain, etc. :D
There's not much we can do, it's a kind of natural selection, only really strong projects that can survive and exist in cryptocurrency with high market challenges.

indeed, that's what many investors now do. many are skeptical about new projects. and most turn to top market coin trading. but I like coins from new projects that look like they're developing. I began to see BCNX coins with their new exchange. Their development looks serious, and I still don't believe all new projects this year are failures.

If you are talking about only bounty hunters then you need to make a complain on the manager running as they should be held responsible if there was no payment at all. Also the subject of the topi is a little misleading as we can find more projects which never fulfilled their promises regarding their roadmap.

I completely agreed to it. In current market situation bounty hunters are being ignored by many projects and those paying are paying very less amount.Let the market condition improve and money inflow increase, every project will need a massive marketing campaigns to raise funds to develop something new to complete the market, that time these projects will need bounty hunters to run part of their marketing campaigns. Wait for the right time to teach lessons to such projects which ignore bounty hunters at the end.

agree, projects like that should be reported whether they are scam or just ignore like stalling time etc, because those who can get evidence of the incident are those who have promoted the project to the end, so they know something that is indeed a fault of the developer to harm all who have worked for him to the end

Taking into account the huge number of projects that are released each day and the high percentage of scams that exist in this market it will be way easier to just list the projects that actually fulfill their promises, many projects feel that they can get away with this because they do not really feel any repercussions, in the worst-case scenario they are going to get a red tag and maybe a flag and that's it, so they do not really care about scamming their bounty hunters.

Maybe the best idea here is to create a new topic for each of this projects, named "*Project Name* - is a scam! *some proofs presented...*". If this topic is active enough, project's team will have to do something.

Every second or third bounty forgets to distribute bounty rewards before exchange listing. But you should never scam hunters, because 2-3k people that are actively taking part in crypto live, can destroy projects image within several days.

Even if they create a scam accusation post about these projects nothing will happen, I bet some tried already because this is not the first time I am hearing this issue, seems like market conditions is to be blame for all these, my advice is everyone should follow bounties from high rated bounty managers on this forum

The reputation of the project is mirror of how they treat bounty campaign participants today. The delating bounty payments will not increase their potential, the project will get the negative rating from the bounty hunters who promoted hardly before the team broke their promises.

Only warning investors regarding the actual issues related to the bounty campaign can stop the team, IMO.

the only way to make it stop is to give them red trust, mark the team, and not be involved with their projects in the future anymore. this often happens, some projects do not pay bounty hunter for a long time. however, you need to ask their reasons on the telegram, or their social media. if they have a reason, you need to wait for it, but if not, provide evidence and the people in this forum will help you to give red trust to projects like that.

IMO looks not interested and become failed project? I check many bounty campaign participants are joining this site and look active for doing task but if the end become failed very disappointed, many ICOs failed and give effect for bounty hunter where miss their payment and working more than two months without get payment and look very sad moment with bounty campaign right now.

Actually there's a lot of them who just promise and failed, I can make some research and I will tell you 4 is just a very small number.
For me, it's understandable since the market is not good right now, you know when the project gets listed the team has to make some effort of course to pay for the listing, and for what? just to see a dump when it's listed? so they already anticipated what would happen, the bounty hunters will dump, lack of buy orders, future of the project will be at risk.

There are many new projects that do not pay bounty participants but I always think positively, will the project continue to survive and have a good price in the future? At the moment, I choose projects managed by trusted managers for new projects, of course, there is always a risk, but if tokens are already listed on the exchange then developers don't want to distribute tokens, then I can be sure they are scammers

Promise about payment I presumed. I thought you gonna tell like a recent projection on their roadmap which hasnt succesfully followed or accomplished. If its all about bounty campaign then dont expect much, more projects doesnt really pay attention to hunters who promoted them as long as the token price wouldnt be affected or dump on the market.

It is unfortunate indeed if the bounty hunter is not valued. Usually their team gives a variety of reasons that corner the bounty hunter that they will dump coins or tokens later on the exchange. But if you think about it, it's our right to get paid and our right to be free to do anything about the coins or tokens. If they are worried about the price of a dump, it's better to pay bounty hunters with btc, eth or others. I was reminded of the exchange union (XUC)  project that paid bounty hunters with eth because they were afraid of dump prices. And this is a good example for a developer. Instead of blaming and not paying bounty hunters.

It's unfortunate that we have so many scammers in this industry due to the fact that it's still by and large a very unregulated one in many countries. Once we get more regulation, then there should be more accountability as well in regards to all of us who are involved in this niche market. I hope that in the future there is just enough enough regulation in place to make the crooks and criminals accountable for their bad deeds, yet lax enough to make it attractive for more investors and users of digital currencies to want to enter or remain in this space as a whole. I have one project in mind that failed miserably in 2019, that is ARB or APX, but I still hold out a 5% hope that it might deliver some product or service either be the end of this year or by the first quarter of 2020. Many people have left and gone and given up on the project but I hodl out a candle in case a miracle happens and the Team realize the potential of that platform and what it can do financially for all the token holders and investors who believed in that project, including myself.

How you know bounty hunters are in tough times when you are only a newbie with only 2 posts? How about using your main account to make your statement reliable? Bounty hunters know their consequences especially on altcoin projects. And bounty hunters never paid a dime that makes them the last of concerns.

There are so many cases like this, they might do that because they don't want their token prices to fall, but take it easy they will need us later, when the market really starts to recover their project needs bounty hunters to campaign their projects and compete with others, they will spend a lot of money for it, but be hypocritical of them and leave these projects to be their lessons, so just wait for the time when they will come like a beggar begging us bounty hunters
wow you nailed it, bounty hunters are been played now because of the present market condition, I hope by 2020 new wave of market movement will start happening and no doubt bounty hunters will be needed and maybe cherish and not treated like shit
Do you see a lot of old projects coming back to their memories and coming to distribute their tokens to bounty hunters, what is the purpose behind it all if it doesn't need us as bounty hunters, it will soon come in 2020 it looks like they are getting ready now looking for the attention of bounty hunters , if you don't believe it, please look back at the old bounty thread and suddenly reappear and will distribute gifts that have been delayed a long time, it's like a joke

Its not new anymore there are project who do ignore the hunters for their own good. If you participated in these projects better to raise your concern to the bounty manager or to their team in their social media sites. Im sure they have reasons and one of this is maybe they are delaying the rewards to prevent hunters dumping the tokens.

Well its not easy to make an effort doing a task to be eligible for the rewards then you'll get nothing in the end, this is a scenario that should not be happening.

Those projects will never pay the hunters caused by that case was an old case that will never be resolved by those scammers. The bounty participants will never get what they deserve.
Even if they are having an intention to fix this problem and i don't even believe if they will pay full amounts. the project like those projects must be boycotted by the hunters.

When they keep moving their date and making different excuse then that's the time to not hope. Whenever I experience that I just think it's my donation to them in what their project will be or a help since their project will not be successful anymore.

Not really, payment is the team responsibility. Many people complained about it regarding bounty. Yes and as always the BM got been blamed. They only handle the campaign and they stipulate it on the announcement as always. So dont blame them mate its not their fault at all.

I also have the same example that you experienced. one bounty has been completed and distribution has been completed, then the listing has also been completed. when it was still in the bounty period, many talked about that the price of the token would reach $ 0.1, but what happened next? after listing it turns out that the price is actually $ 0.00000001

gap that is too far indeed, but all must be accepted and certainly when the market goes up, surely they will also pump up.

These is the new norms now! that's why bounty hunters must be united to denounce those unfair practices, I believe also that the bounty manager has an important role to solve these problems! lessons to learn that since the very beginning of the bounty projects we should study the terms and condition applied before we join the promotion campaign. like me i don't join those bounties that locking bounty tokens in 6 months to 1 year for me its a waste of time and energy.

You can look for a good bounty program and do not follow bounty programs from managers and projects that are not clear, you can search for bounties here, there are many trusted managers that you can register in the program, that's one way to keep you safe from the bounty program.

I am not sure that their doings will stop because there are still hunters that participate without any escrow or any proof that they will pay all the hunters. if all of our fellow hunters won't change and seek for improvement then there is no hope that fraudulent project creators and developers stop this. they will always appear as long as there are victims.

SERO was very profitable when it did an IEO, i was about to buy it so i waited to see if it dips a bit but continues to rise like its pumped all the way.  I didn't know it failed to keep their promise to their investors. they didn't promise investors to give 5000x ROI, did they?

of course teams doesn't promise price gain but the roadmap disappointments are going to bring the price down eventually even if all are going up including their privacy coin competitor.

Title: Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019

It often happens to be ignored, maybe the developer is still looking for a solution for how to distribute to the bounties and airdrop so that their tokens do not go down, so the developer is always delaying and not keeping his promises.
But if you are patient in waiting for sure they will distribute at the right time.
When does a project like this annoy the hunters because they always devote the bounties.
This is indeed often the case for bounty hunters where there are delays in distributing tokens and for some reason the team behind the project being followed explains the delays and after the tokens we receive we often feel that what we get is worthless or arguably the price is very far below.

Most new  projects are scam, Bitcoin and few top altcoins are worth investing on, I will rather buy Bitcoin and top 10 altcoins then hold for several months, if there is any little profit I won't hesitate to pull them out

Yes you have point dude! that's one reason I stop joining on any altcoin bounty and airdrop  you make a hardwork to promote their project butin the end you make a zero pay or thank you as a payment, we can say that the team are too greedy to pay the bounty hunter.
Not only you but so many bounty hunters are sad and worried about low payments but trust me when the price of altcoin will rise it will automatically make the price of bounty projects and the team will pay high again. But we will have to keep our heart wide and take part in bounty projects to make money and promote the project with good words.

Many project failed keep their promise because they don'r get reach selling target of ICOs time, how ever with less coin sold to investor they can make anything for keep coin with higher price, they only can listed coin with not popular exchange market depend which how much money received from ICOs selling, we can't fault their project because investor not interested fro investing.

Unfortunately, there are many other projects that do not keep their promise. The continuation of this decrease potential of the market caused the projects not to find the amount of funds they needed. In this case, it caused the project to postpone or cancel the payments completely. In particular, many projects which regulate ICO in this year could not make payments as in the examples.

True, if we examine in full, so many investors who were deceived by the project, and we can see the evidence that at this time the project investors have begun to decrease, resulting in many projects that are no longer successful.

When project failed during ICOs time without reached selling coin target is fine because owner low promoting their coin and investor do not know, but many ICOs investment have success reached hard cap but failed during listing on exchange market is very disappointed because owner looks not serious and responsibility with their coin and never can back up with higher price when listing on market.

You should add the link to their announcement thread, this thread is better place in the scam section, because they are scamming both the bounty hunters and airdroppers, if this is posted or moved to scam sections investors and traders will take notice and ignore these coins/tokens when they are looking for coins/tokens to add to their portfolio.

if the reality is like that, then the solution to stop their project is public support and proof that their project is unfair. I mean like this, if one of the coins is registered on the CMC website and has a high sale value, then we need to clarify this issue to clear the list of projects on any stock exchange site. maybe at least it's fair enough, both for developers / teams / prize hunters.

It is awful that there are lots of existing projects that seems to be so promising at first just to attract bounty hunters to promote their project to gain the attention of the public specially the potential investors that will support their project but right after it, they suddenly changes the informations in their white paper which literally means that they have already failed following the project description leading to failing their promises as well. I think the solution what we can do is public awareness about such projects but not just by allegations. We must have proofs to let everybody know about it to avoid many people to be victimized by those projects.

Usually, they do not want to pay fear of their project down if distribution, but the community is important to support the smoothness of a project, and if like this will make the project slowly crumbled. Not a matter of consciousness, everybody will shut up if so, supposedly in the forum, there is some sort of a project if not pay.

it happens for projects that are not professional, for good projects, of course it will be consistent with its provisions, because this is related to trust in all parties. if trust is established, I think it will be easier to develop together

It is not being unprofessional, but the way they take bounty hunters is like they take them too lightly. They just disregard bounty hunters to benefit only themselves and do not appreciate the work of other people to help their project to be known in crypto space.

It's very difficult for araw to be able to compete if they don't have new innovations and also the price of the token is already very low. IMO don't expect too much from this project because it seems like their project is very slow in development

If you want follow them that's fine if not just leave. Developer will do anything to keep their project running, profitable or not let them fight in market. They will give us many promise to keep us stay but somehow only you can decide which one is the best for you. If I see not profitable again I just leave, whatever they say I go, not because not believe but I need to save my fund from bigger lost.

if the reality is like that, then the solution to stop their project is public support and proof that their project is unfair. I mean like this, if one of the coins is registered on the CMC website and has a high sale value, then we need to clarify this issue to clear the list of projects on any stock exchange site. maybe at least it's fair enough, both for developers / teams / prize hunters.
Someone have to take the lead? Doubt it will lead anywhere because people easily move on even if it's life and death situations, the best solution is to leave the fight for bounty managers, once you start following reputable BM you will have lower disappointment in bounty payouts

You have to add XBX - ezbitex, Harith the CEO promised to make XBX  $10 per token until this month but nothing happened yet he dumped the tokens and now made an exit and never released any bounty, they distributed though, they never unfreezed it!

Maybe they have a lock in period ? and you can only sell portions of the currency. I'd join a project like that they only want to protect their project and they have all the right to implement rules and regulations for the better of their coins, plus you didn't even signed any contract so whether they pay or not, its up to them that's why i stay away from ICO they're really unreliable and not trustworthy also most of ICO's are a pump and dump.

I wonder how a coin that was once 0.01$ can recover when it's already at 0.00000001$, that is ridiculous and i think the project is just another shitcoin, most project i knew of that goes down from 0.01cent ends up at 0.0001 highest because of market condition
Try to imagine, if the price of bitcoin rises around $ 20k, are you sure that those small investors come to buy bitcoin, not really, what they will buy, if not altcoin or shitcoin, they usually come tempted by promotions by bounty hunters so prices are recovering, in a few moments prices are recovering project owners will continue to pay high bounty hunters to get more investors like this, seeing the experience in 2017 many altcoins do not have good projects but their prices are high because investors are not focused on buying bitcoin because the price is already high so they switched, I hope you understand

It is a very regret that some projects got listed in exchanges but they didn't pay to the bounty hunters. In 2019, Bounty hunters basically served their job basically without any wage, hence few projects got listed but ignored to pay them. In my opinion, i have observed such few projects that didn't pay to the hunters are now about to ruin. A cheater will never be succeed so longer, he will ruin. So bounty hunters can wait and see whether they will come to this forum for further development of their project, then hunters will put negative comments on their project. It will destroy their project's future.

There's too many.

Even ETH has somewhat failed on their promises of ETH2.0 and scalability, let alone these smaller cap coins that were likely designed to be money makers for the founder since the beginning. There's too many to list, essentially.

That's why you gotta keep doing your due diligence. Otherwise, you'll get screwed over.

Agree, some established coins also missed fulfilling their promises and I think this is a normal thing because it can happen due to many factors. I think I will ignore projects that have a small market cap because in my opinion it is too risky to invest in it.

This list should be bigger because excluding these name, you can find a lot of projects which couldn't provide the utmost result to the investors to these projects. This is the bad side of this cryptocurrency world because people have lost huge money by investing a new project but in recent time nothing is done yet, especially this year is fully dull on various purpose, this trend should be checked and balanced, otherwise, people will get afraid of investing again on this platform, promises should be kept for the shake of this cryptocurrency's sustainability.

Which is even worse? That the project succeeded in rewarding hunters (like KHP) but never get listed on any exchange? Or that they get listed (like ONZ) but with the connivance of a shady exchange and then dump the coin before hunters and investors get the chance of selling? These things are neither there nor here. And this is really worrisome, I must say.

So to avoid further wasting of time and effort on these projects, I more than suggest that participate only in btc or eth paying campaigns under known respective managers here. Even if the pay is not to your satisfaction, at least you are sure that you are getting paid every week and you in the long it is better to earn something rather than nothing.
You are right, it is best to actually find a campaign now that the payment is Ethereum or Bitcoin because even though our wages here are low we can be sure that our effort and time will be paid.

obviously, it is too risky to be used as a form of investment. there have been many projects like this before that were able to deliver sweet promises but in reality they could only have a small market capitalization.

it is true as you said, even coins that were set up long ago or coins that are already established sometimes can not keep promises that have been given or something that is expected by the project has not been fully realized.

I think we should now face it that projects like these can't be stop because it is impossible for us to track them and charging them from the sins or illegal acts that they have done. I think it is much better if we should just avoid these kind of projects because we are just a waste of time and effort. one thing you need to do with a project like that, forget it. if they really want to develop the project with their dishonesty, in some time the project will be abandoned by investors, and the worst is bankruptcy. the first thing that needs to be built is trust, and this year there are quite a lot of projects that don't have that, even I don't want to list it because it's quite a lot

They keep promising because it is part of their marketing plan and also their promotion to keep the sales moving up. I do not believe to their fishy promises because I will only lose my money their. Many investors are losing money in making investment with ICOs and IEOs and it is because they are believing to their shit promises where it is not really realistic. If an ICO or IEO make an promise, you should now double think because there is high possibility that their promise will fail.

Hmm.. this was one of the reasons why I stopped doing bounty campaigns and then switched to a campaign that paid me in BTC rather than in tokens. Very few of the ICOs are successful nowadays and even if some ICO is listed in an exchange they delay the distribution of bounty. The excuse being given is that if they distribute the bounty quickly, then the hunters will dump all their tokens and crash the prices. But the real reason is to give enough time for the promoters to dump their tokens in the exchanges. The bounty hunters will get their tokens, only after the dumping by the promoters is complete.

The issue of projects not keeping to their promises is very popular in this industry. Even the airdroppers and bounty hunters are aware that anything could happen to their reward. Projects are quick to accuse bounty hunters for dumping the price of the tokens and this has always resulted in the project shifting the goal posts.

If there have good promising developing then it will be good for everyone bounty hunter with investors.
In fact, the situation of ICOs has been so bad over the past few years that we have just forgotten it. Then investors are accepting the IEO more, but of course it is being applied more to the popular top exchange. So I think if a project gives more importance to their development, then that project will definitely be a success.

This issue has been discussed many times in the past. I don't understand why everyone is quick to blame the bounty hunter, when the bounty pool is just 1% or 2% of the total allocation. Can the price of a token manipulated with just 1% of the total supply? If that is the case, then it proves that the project has no liquidity. If the promoters are so sure about the viability of the project, then why can't they buy back this 1% at half the listing price and then sell these tokens later at a profit?

The list of projects that failed to keep their promise are inexhaustible. I remember participating in a bounty where the tokens promised were not distributed. Its quite painful because the tokens are trading and I really needed that money for my personal supplies.

The very reason why investors and most bounty hunters are no longer interested taking the big risk of participating and supporting the project. There's no safe haven  with investing to new projects, most of this are created by the developers who are only aiming for quick benefits and always ready to runaway or to blame someone from their own mistakes. Failed project also bringing negative impressions to the entire ecosystem,

Bounty hunters are actually not worthy of being accused of wasting tokens, because hunters only get reward on a small scale, so the potential for throwing away tokens will not have much effect on the exchange.

Maybe the best idea here is to create a new topic for each of this projects, named "*Project Name* - is a scam! *some proofs presented...*". If this topic is active enough, project's team will have to do something.
This is already happening, in the scam accusation and reputation sections of the forum you can find many threads about people accusing projects of being scams and most of the project leaders never take the time to answer to those accusations because they know they are true and they also know that most people are never going to make any effort to research their project which could help them to find such thread, so they do not really care about those accusations.

The useless projects introduce their shitcoin to the investors and investors don't fall to their lying machine. The small exchanges are nor promised on the first date of IEO but they first prefer to list coin there.

We can change this matter because investor or Dev they believe only bounty hunters can dump the price. I see so many hunters, they didn't move any coin in 1-2 years. Same I found in Coinhe campaign, token still in wallet. Even bounty hunter reward isn't more than one day volume. I saw a token that dumped huge and lowest selling amount is more than bounty allocation.

about 80-90% of those projects actually failed their promises. most of them are just good in creating their roadmap but when you talk about the real achievements, very few can directly answer that part.
maybe we need to list the projects that kept their promises, maybe that would be easier task because they are only few of them. the rest are failed ones.

This is one of the main issues bounty hunters face when participating in campaigns that don't have the funds escrowed in advance or that aren't run by a reputable campaign manager, so make sure you DYOR into each campaign to avoid wasting time and effort on offerings that might be potential scams
Not trust bounty campaign manager make us waste time for joining bounty campaign and not received reward any more, although project failed when bounty campaign manager trusted they will announce with their campaign failed during ICO is not success, but whit bounty campaign success on ICO always delay distributed coin for bounty participants.

Hmm.. this was one of the reasons why I stopped doing bounty campaigns and then switched to a campaign that paid me in BTC rather than in tokens.
I find this hard to believe because i did some research on new projects of this year and some still manage to pay bounty hunters what they promised, i can start listing successful bounties this year and believe me they are over 10 now

Prize hunters have worked for the promotion of the project, and have not received payment for hard work, a lot has happened, because the project failed, finally the hunters did not receive payment, I hope in 2020 it will not happen again, because they will really need the prize hunters to promote their project..
For projects that are not well-known it will really need the prize hunters to make project promotions, but for projects that are already famous will not need prize hunters, because they can succeed without making bounties, and in the past there were also many successful projects just by making ICOs only, and don't make a bounty.
Those projects have many famous investment funds and many people participate in private sale. So they do not need to conduct an ICO or IEO to raise capital. These are really good and quality projects in this market, from 2017 until now, I have only seen a few of them. And up to now, those projects are still working very well

Stop patronizing these scam projects.  That would be the best move.  If it is possible, we should publish their bad action on the social media and keep tweeting their incompetence towards the bounty hunters.  Or if someone really wanted to put the project down, they can find legal flaws on the project and inform the authority.

There are so many of them from 2018 to 2019 and the sad fact is that many of them raised millions of dollars during their sales, you mentioned Sero but I have to admit that while Sero might not have delivered on their promises, atleast their investors didn't lose money, they gave decent returns for the investors, that is more than investors of Sparkster and the rest of those shots could say, I know that Cryptocurrency investments are risky investments but it's projects like this that makes us lose faith entirely, thankfully there are projects out there that helps us keep the faith.

We only have to get rid of these kinds of projects and do more research so we'll never get scammed again. Let's just be wiser than these kinds of scam projects.

I rode the pump of SERO but wasn't lucky to have dumped on its ATH. Many of the traders are looking or opportunity to profit and get out of this miserable bear days so I started trying to look for pumps and I guess if you do find it enjoyable to ride the pumps these days, its still something you get to accustomed to doing. I'm all forgetting all the teams who failed to fulfill their promise and go on.

Aww. I think Sero did very well buddy. Sero did what most coins couldn't do and it maintained the status quo for a while. I remember sero trading at 0.05usd on qbtc for a while and doing over x50 after gate IEO which it maintained. I am not sure there is a better ask. I am sure most developers want to keep their promise and they still do, in terms of development and product build but for the prices, they can't really do much because bitcoin says it all

But sometimes the initial token holder investor also does not get a profit, because the token is never registered on the exchange.

but if it has ever been registered the volume that is owned does not exist. The project team is indeed to blame for not doing a good job for their own projects.

But the current market situation does have a high risk for new projects.

and maybe project fraud still continues in this industry space, we have seen that there are many types of projects that did not keep promises during the 2018-2019 period, such as the project example you said above is very frustrating especially for project investors & prize hunters who join in inside of it. but I realize that crypto spaces are free so the risk of not getting coins or profits from project investments is common. it's important to always be vigilant before joining any project someday.

indeed that no one can guarantee the results that can be obtained from participating in a bounty campaign, but at least the developer provides developments that can provide a selling price so that bounty hunters can get paid for the work they do to protect the good name of the projects in their campaigns.

The selling price depends on the general market conditions and other useless price speculations put another weight over the shoulders of team members. The fast developments can't be a quality product, in this case, the higher level of market analyze is essential.

there is no solution, in the crypto world it is very vulnerable to fraud. we must realize and choose a project that is truly trusted and makes a profit. but for now indeed new projects are a scam I don't believe in them. I better buy bitcoin and wait for several months to get a profit.
You could say the cryptocurrency market is a free market, anyone can join, invest in making a project and also do a few other things. And indeed many new projects have turned into scams and then have an impact on other projects because the projects have become difficult to attract investors and then experience failures that have an impact on bounty hunters. It's hard to get rid of scammers, what needs to be done now is not to be too hasty in making decisions.

There are other projects too that failed to live up to expectation as far as paying bounty hunters for their efforts is concerned one of the project paid the hunters and sent to tokens to their investors respectively however getting listed into an exchange had become an herculean task for the project funny enough next year April would  mark second anniversary of the successful completion of their ICO.

Everyone must expect results from their work and I think bounty hunters only demand their own rights. It is indeed difficult to ensure a campaign will pay bounty hunters after the period ends but at least this will set a bad precedent for the project

Just spread the fud about this platform on social media, soon you will be paid. But usually the bounty allocation will be cut in half or the payment will be replaced by ETH (not token) as in the case of Exchange Union (XUC).

So bounty hunters can wait and see whether they will come to this forum for further development of their project, then hunterrs will put negative comments on their project. It will destroy their project's future.
I think to avoid the further occasion of this kind of situations the bounty managers need to step up their games by using 2-3 escrow services to hold the bounty budgets and if i could remember correctly this idea was talked about last month.
I hope the bounty managers put it into consideration.

It is normal to see and even experienced from the projects that they didn't keep their promises. Most of these projects came from the amateurs developers and greedy team. I don't invest during the ICO/IEO phase anymore, I just invest after those stages in order to see a small progress and measure it to determine if it is good enough for me to get convinced and invest.

There are hundreds of a promising project which are now totally disappeared from the crypto market; many of them did not pay the bounties or got hacked during ICO or after ICO. At the moment, the investors and bounty hunters are afraid to participate in new incoming IEO and ICO's.

There are some project that indeed delivered the reward but it's just as good as nothing because the crypto simply have no value at all though can't blame the developers but if they are raising huge chunk of money through ICO or IEO then they deserve to take the blame. Project usually can be deemed failed even if they got out the way of the promised roadmap.

Why are you believing to the promise of scam developer? They keep promising because they know that they can invite more investors. There are a lot of promises that been broken so we should not rely on promises of a specific developer. We should invest only if we fully know what kind of products or services that they are offering in order to be aware to what can they do in the market.

True, it is better to choose the old BM in the new project, rather than the new BM from the new project, because the new BM has a reputation not so trusted, so the opportunity to deceive the bounty participants is very open.

Many projects do not pay for the rights of the airdrop and bounty hunters, whereas if they use the logic of the project they get huge profits from investors and achieve their sales targets. This problem usually involves a bounty manager who is a scam and run away and the second is from the project that is really lying to the bounty hunter

I think it will be difficult to make them aware because from the beginning their goal is to find a profit they don't care about other people. they only promised to pay the bounty hunters soon and the airdrop. but in reality they don't send gift tokens.
therefore I always suggest doing research in earnest before joining the bounty project. don't be easily tempted by high gift token payments because that's just bullshit.

It's not very uncommon nowadays. Some project offers money for those who will help to raise their funds then forget about their promise. That's how online business running. I don't know how to stop this kind of thing. There should be some kind of system where those projects need to pay their token first to the platform and the platform will distribute token to the worker after the project end. This way we can eliminate scam projects too.

It does not always depend on managers because managers are involved in counting and issuing tokens. And is there a big difference in the fact that the project delayed the payment of tokens that cost almost nothing or paid out tokens later? Just many projects are waiting for better times and can be understood sometimes.

Promises are difficult to keep especially if the promise is unrealistic. But once you have worked for that project, you couldn't give up on it easily. Even though the project looks like it is doom to fail, there will always be a side of you wants it to succeed and kick back from its current predicament. Hopefully, these cases would decrease because it slowly kills the hope in many hunters.

My opinion is that these projects believe that they have already completed their task and now they don’t give a damn about the bounty participants. It is worth noting that there are a lot of such projects and their number is growing. I don’t think that the problem is due to the market drop, the matter is the creators of such projects themselves, especially since the funds allocated to the bounty are not so big. It’s just that the creators of the projects themselves behave honestly towards the participants of the bounty companies.

sad :(    .  from thier name , they mean to be a promising project because thier name tells about crypto bank and crypto banks are always been discussed on this forum  . i mean people loves to see a crypto based bank and its like thier dreams came true when this mycryptobank project came out but unfortunately thier hopes just turned into dust because the project was just a simillar to other scams out there  . anyways 2019 was going the end soon and im expecting that 2020 are gonna be a fine year to see alot of great legit projects   .

I'm pretty optimistic, too. A lot of new things have appeared and it inspires hope for the best. And cryptobank became another proof that you should not mess with teams where there are Russians.

In fact, those who do this project will not last long. I can say that. Hunter's contribution to any project market is to survive or to collapse. They cheat in such a way not to reduce the price of their tokens. That's not right.

1. Sparkpoint
2. Decimated

4. Sero
Etc.

Any one has a solution to make this stop? if developers can't keep their promises even when they raise fund successful why needing how help to create awareness then?
It is really disappointing and makes us very upset to participate in failed projects because they can't keep their promises, and all of our energy, time and money was wasted, that is why a lot of investors and bounty hunters have stopped participating in projects because not all of them are not good anymore and some of them are scams. I think we can't really stop unsuccessful and scam projects like this because they will still create projects, that is why it is much better to avoid projects because it is really just a waste of money and time.

If you really want to do research on projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 or before, i think the list will be more than what the @op has listed, virtually all the 2019 project couldn't keep to their promise, those that try to keep to promise struggle a lot with the timing, lots of promises that have not been met in the crypto space.

Haven't heard those names even if I am always in the altcoin section.

Look, it is a risk you had taken when you joined the bounty of an ICO.
It had been discussed here for a lot of times.
That is why some users here are trying the best they can to make newbies aware of what they have joined.
Research, and a lot of different tips and steps are being provided to avoid this kind of events.
It is true that many users around the forum are doing their best to warn people about all the scam projects that they discover, but even if this community is very involved in that process is impossible to discover every single ico or ieo that it is a scam, the only real way which we can stop all of this is if people stop putting their time and their money in such projects because there is an enormous chance that they are never going to get anything in return for their time and money.

So many projects fail to keep their promises and this is why I say they need more than a plan. They need to have already started on working towards the plan. A plan is not a project. If they have it carefully planned they will start working on it before the ICO. If no work has been done before the ICO then you should stay away. Most coins are like this so be aware people.

I don't really see why any team will refuse to pay bounty hunters for their hard work, if you promise people that you're going to pay them a certain amount for promoting your project then you should do just that, doing otherwise should be considered as a scam. I don't care whatever reason they might give for it, a scam is a scam. They shouldn't blame bounty hunters for a decrease in the rate of their Tokens, it's none of their business, they just did their job and they deserve to be paid for it.

This is the reason, scams are not being moderated in this forum. We cannot have any general action against such devs as not paying the bounty rewards should be treated case by case. OP must start open accusation and I guess there are highly influence people are there in this forum and they may talk to exchanges to take action against scammy devs on proving situations.

Yes, the contribution of the hunters is indeed large, even though the hunters do not contribute capital money, and even the payment to the hunters is not in accordance with the contribution of time that has been given by the hunters.

Maybe many ICOs failed with their promise because during ICOs coin not sold out and they faced with bad thing with ICOs coin price have down after listing on market, many ICOs right now not always reached with their target for hard cap because many investor low trusted with ICOs investment and try for investing with IEO, when ICOs not success for coin selling maybe they will failed when listing on exchange market.

I hope that in the future, each bounty campaign is willing to use the escrow method to ensure that they will pay bounty participants. No big deal, how to distribute it. As long as the payment is according to the initial agreement they have made.

Yes, you are absolutely right, if OP want to add the SERO here, I want to add Ethereum in this list, lol. SERO was the most profitable coin of this year, the IEO price was 0.018 USD and it went to 0.60 USD, which was insane growth. I have no complained against others listed coins, but SERO shouldn't be on this list.

Many projects do not pay for the rights of the airdrop and bounty hunters, whereas if they use the logic of the project they get huge profits from investors and achieve their sales targets. This problem usually involves a bounty manager who is a scam and run away and the second is from the project that is really lying to the bounty hunter
This is something that is often obtained by bounty hunters where they do not get payment for what they have done or you could say the team behind the project carried off the money that was obtained from investors or they reasoned that the projects they brought had constraints so that payments or distribution of tokens given has been delayed and usually after we receive the token it actually has no value and only becomes junk in the wallet.

Actually the prize manager is not involved in this matter but the main thing is that from the project that is deceptive, the manager's requirement not to be involved in fraud is that the manager must give a disclamer under the thread as proof that if there is a fraud then they are not involved

Adab, Bitmillex, Weidex, XERA LikerCoin, Ironx Jarvis token I can post over 50 of these coins.

True, it is better to make sure about the payment before joining, and it is true that many beginners do not join and promote the project without researching it first, even though beginners lack experience, but don't get used to it.

Stopping it? There is no way it can be done.
There is one thing you could do though. If you find even just a little bad odor of a scam then report it to the moderators already.
Post some proof and maybe they will find out what exactly could be done.
That is, if the ICO was announced here.
But if not, then use their telegram channel to tell people about the possible scam exit.

Even project that undertook IEO in reputable exchanges like BNB has no assurance that an investor can get profit especially if you are a small time investor. Aside from that, scammers can penetrate these exchanges as they can deceive them with their intentions, especially if they can shell out money just to list them. Bottomline, projects failed because of lack or insufficient funds or lack of motivation to move forward. Very rare that you can find a valuable project nowadays.

not only ICO, many companies out there fail to fulfill their promises. we know that the crypto world is filled with competition and scammers. if you can't survive and compete, then the project that you make will die, and that will make you unable to fulfill that promise, especially if the project is filled with scammers.
there are so many projects like that that I can't mention them, so the advice we can give is to be careful choosing projects to invest in because promises alone aren't enough to make you successful.

Honestly, all investors only care about profits. Nobody cares about the future of these projects, so after the end of the ICO or IEO they will dump it when it is listed at exchanges. And the reality is that new projects only have great ideas and they are never able to turn those ideas into products. That is why most projects do not keep their promises as they were

How to care with the future coin without care first by developer, investor only try to get much profit after investing during ICOs and IEOs time without try to hold coin for long time, not guarantee for saving coin in long time because owner never want to build their coin keep higher price or above when ICOs or IEOs selling time.

but realistically the average investor is more concerned about their profits, but in the business view of a developer requires investors unless the developer has a greater level of confidence. so I think when developers need funds they must be responsible for the investors' funds and certainly there will be many demands from investors who mostly only care about profit

This notion is correct, developers are asking for millions of dollars when they have not shown that they can lift their fingers and do anything about achieving those goals, I can understand if a project goes through an ico when they have reached the limits of what they can do on their own with no money and they need the support of the community in order for the project to reach its full potential, that will be an ico in which I could be interested to invest unfortunately most of the icos in the market are not like that.

Projects that promise profit are fishy, I can't remember I saw some projects in the old days that promised profit for all investors, profit in a short period of time. I never invest in promises, simply search for the project that talks about their idea, their product, their plans...when they start talk about a profit you can make in a short or any specific time just walk away from wherever you are.

This is really unfair to bounty hunters. Some project is making fast and strong KYC process where some ignore bounty hunters. You missed a name of project "VIDY", this project has some chances to get listed Binance exchange but didn't paid well to bounty hunters. When a project closes the sales period and the project starts, there is nothing an investor can do. Investors can only wait for the development of the project from information shared by the developer team. Many new projects don't fulfill their promises according to the roadmap and in my opinion, it's best to avoid projects like this because they don't seem to have a commitment

There are a lot of project does not meet their goal and that was normal. Don't always assume that if you joined from ICO, you've always sure that you can get money from that. I joined some ICO projects but I expected a lot but from the end the token that they give has no value.

If we start on this list, the truth is that we wouldn't end this conversation today, infact it would be faster to list projects that has kept to their promises than to list projects that has not kept their promise in 2019, that's how bad it is...

Since there is no regulation at the moment, there is nothing we can do about it at the moment, they just do how they like and while some are considerate to investors, some are not considerate at all and want to scam from the beginning.

This problem of Bounty hunters going without pay at the end of Tokensale will not end if the forum or reputable members do nothing about it. Many projects like Enviin, Tokenpay all had a successful ICO but never paid hunters at the end no one did anything about it.

You just mentioned a few but I could vividly say many projects failed to their process, this isn't new. This space is an uncertainty one best is not to listen to news but follow products. Some may appear to be nice but at long run they turn to another thing.

No 4 (Sero) actually got me laughing, I can remember what transpired and how people were deprived of their token, the pain and disappointment. I remember friends that literally cried cos they really worked hard for the Week project

In this way we find a lot of things, many projects that give false hope so that we as gift hunters feel disappointed nowadays they always ignore us but I believe later all will be replied, we expect in the year 2020 coin price will return to normal so we are not in treat as it is today, probably now many among us who feel disappointed and have stopped to follow the project.

There are a lot of them and the crypto currency space has no choice than to move on

Another example is bitagro, who disappeared and locked Telegram group when it was time to pay hunters

Just keep on to dyor before working.
It will save some stress

Yes, we need to help each other in order for us to stop them, when you are having a suspicion on some bounty or project, check their credentials, check the team profile. Check if they have all the documents that will give them proof that it is true and correct. But yes, swachcoin is one of them, I have a friend who help them but they didnt pay his team.

But the issue is that you do not really know if the developers that are working in a particular coin are going to deliver and fulfil their promises, that is why people are rejecting new cryptocurrencies regardless of their promises because they know that is not what matters, what matters is that developers get to work and do what they say they will do, and in most cases this doesn't happen and that is why most coins fail and until that changes the market of icos are never going to recover.

If we calculate in total, of course many projects have ignored bounty participants after their tokens have been listed in the market, and some projects even have token prices high enough on several exchanges, but there is no clear reason why they have not paid the participants until now?
There are two, bounties that I have participated in and their tokens have been registered in several markets but have not paid the participants, such as;

1. jinby
2. Boltcoin.

I can't a 3 bounty campaigns which were not successful to promote their project in the right way. I doubt the market is the reason why bounty allocation was not distributed and the team is responsible for the lack of support. The many projects failed to deliver the product and they broke their own promises before the end of ICO/IEO.

There's not much they can do though. Once the ICO is over that's it. Everything is at ones own risk.

I was also involved in Sero and Nestree and they were both promising projects .... but to start with Sero the bounty manager was very very terrible and found a way to avoid paying bounty hunters and he paid just about 10% of our total earnings while holding the rest for unless reasons
