In your opinion, what is an effective way to introduce crypto currency for newbies, and how important do you think?
I think platform like the Brave browser are a very effective way, this is important because newbies are the future?

Good idea you by introducing them through Brave Browser. It will give them an idea that they can earn BAT by just simply viewing the ads while using the browser.

IMO, a good introduction too is to give them ideas about what bitcoin is which is the most important matter that they should know. And next, the necessity of getting to know more about the security of wallets. From hardware wallets and even the risk that web wallets has.

Tell them how bad is traditional financial systems, how banks are printing money, how goverments robbing people. Tell them about money, that money is not good for long term HODL because the value is constantly falling. Tell them about upcoming world economic crisis and then... tell them about solution - cryptocurrencies.  :D

Everyone regardless of if you are old in cryptocurrency, new to cryptocurrency or hasn't even yet gotten in into cryptocurrency, are all important and the future.

In my case it's really difficult to introduce crypto to non-coiner. I mean when you say that you can invest and can possible get a good ROI, their eyes lit. But when you go to a more technical details specially on protecting your wallets, it seems they're not interested. That's why I didn't discuss it in public. Just some close friends and that's it. But up to this day they haven't invested so I didn't bother. Interesting you say Brave Browser, can you give example as how you gonna used it to introduce crypto?

When you tell someone who probably is a first timers to anything, tell him on how to earn some stipends or something worthwhile is possible, you will see how fast such person will grab it, which is normal. Then give the person some tips on how to go about it, in simple terms, then the job is done.

I commonly say that crypto is a digital currency that can only be held online and used for transactions or buying and selling such as stocks.
Some people who are in line business will understand with my statement but if the layman will consider it MLM and so on.

I do not think Brave is a good choice for explaining blockchain or cryptocurrency, giving reward or prohibition of ads makes it better than others, but these features have little to do with cryptocurrency. To describe crypto, talk about its features, its advantages, its ease, its reliability. Already if someone has not heard about it, the "invisible" money will surely interest him. I am glad to introduce cryptocurrency to newbies who are indeed interested in this kind of system, who are really fast learners like me, that can easily absorb and understand explanations, I am referring to computer literate users.
Well, it's not that easy cause the details you should tell them just right. So if a user asks a question that I don't know the exact answer, I gather information and search for sources that can provide the correct response. Yes, you're right. We must try to explain complex things in simple language. Otherwise, the ordinary person will consider crypto very complex and will never agree to study it.

Give some basic information, in specific it is good to provide the newbies with some link and sources to learn. For a non crypto guy this is gonna be tough especially when the person doesn't really have any knowledge or idea at all. Patience is needed for some people when it comes to teaching them. Better start of with a few basic terms and slowly introduced to them how it works and what ate these. In this case they can somehow familiarize with the terminology and slowly adopt the process of it.

People would be familiar and easy with currencies when they are widely accepted by businesses around them.  Another thing that's stopping most people to use crypto is volatility. A internal trading platform like coinpayments can ease on that. But the real advantage of crypto lies on getting a profit from trading. I've done this many times and if my friends ask me to tell more about cryptocurrency then I always start with the basics.
Firs, you need to tell them that truth and everything because basic knowledge is important. You need to educate them about cryptocurrency and later on you can now teach them on how to make profit. You need to give the pros and cons of cryptocurrency and don't focus too much on bitcoin. Secondly, tell them the ways to earn profit but never force them to invest and let them learn how to buy and sell and if they plan to do trading, then suggest a good sites to learn more about trading. Introducing cryptocurrency is not easy, you need patience to those people who are still not open to know more about this market.

How can brave browser help newbie from crypto? Its just a normal browser that there is a way to earn free bat but it will not help newbe to learn they can only learn all method to earn in brave but the other ways of earning is not there .

You also can use game for that purpose, many developer already use crypto platform to support game. The best way to introduce is buy something use crypto, meaning you give them big picture before introduce the detail. My friend always try to invite me into their house and play game in his room that he got from crypto world, from there I really interesting to do like him. Sharing your own knowledge and experiences is a great way to introduce bitcoin to newbies, it will give them a better understanding if you have explained things very well. Let them know about the possible struggle and challenges they might encounter so they can already prepare themselves for downfalls. In that way they will easily understand that it some things won't always turn out great because some of them have high expectations. It's true that enlightening them is quite complicated because we can't change the fact that most of them thinks that cryptocurrency was only used in illegal activities because of some false news that have heard, many of them are only looking on it's negative side that is why it is challenging but we don't have to force them because it's possible that one day they will recognize it themselves and they will feel remorse because of not believing on it in the first place.  

How is money not good for long term hold, i belief what you hold is what you get, just like a penny saved is still nothing but a penny, explaining how money and the government works is enough to change their minds

Fiat money loses it's value as time passes as there are no limit for it. A good example is real estate, unless a dire condition, prices of real estate increases every year against fiat.
The current volatility of bitcoin and crypto is due to it's limited use and limited people controlling significant amount of each currency. When it gets distributed, the volatility would decrease itself.

I personally got interested in cryptocurrency when I saw the possibility of earning so much money through the volatility of cryptocurrency. I believe this would a great way for introducing newbies to cryptocurrency. Telling people of the financial possibilities of cryptocurrency would lure them to the industry.

IMHO,giving free cryptos to the people is not really a good idea because it may not be a valuable crypto so people will just waste their time on getting that crypto and will lose interest when they realized their time wasted on earning it.But we may introduce them as money which got value,you can buy anything with cryptos and you no need any bank accounts for sending money in this whole universe. :)

Introducing cryptocurrency to beginners is a bit difficult, because we have to teach them on the basis of crypto, because beginners obviously don't know much about crypto, so it takes a little time to introduce crypto to beginners, so they can better understand what crypto is, not directly to money, because finding money in crypto is not easy.

By giving away free money for trying out your crypto. A lot of altcoins back in the day used this method. For example: Stellar (XLM). Back in their initial launch, they're giving away almost $100 for each account after you connect your Stellar profile with Facebook. Damn it was good times. As you can expect, a lot of people rushing into it, many cheated as well by using their relatives account, etc. It was expensive but look at where Stellar is today.

Well, the first thing that people should tell them is
Crypto, is not for making money

They need to know this
Crypto is not something that will be replacing anything, it is a brand new class of asset
Decentralization is the main thing they need to know
Understanding that and they will understand blockchain easily

The Brave browser is a good way to start.

I think it's a good idea to get them earn cryptocoins without buying them too much or atall. And they should also be able to easily buy/sell things with their favorite cryptocoins. It would be nice to create crypto-based local/international marketplaces for them to buy and sell basic things.

At past i just tell my friend who ask about bitcoin to google what is bitcoin first, and if he already know what really it is, i mean not something that can give him free money from airdrop or anything else, i think they will learn about it. Usually forum like bitcointalk which have local section can really help newbies, at least they can know first if bitcoin is not only investment that ya we know some new people come into bitcoin to make investment to earn profit from it.

Introducing cryptocurrency to beginners will be easier if through the introduction of how cryptocurrency features and functions are used in everyday life, such as Brave browser it is absolutely right because all will use a secure browser and of course give a gift to the user, with such introduction beginners will be interested and looking for more information about crypto

I guess that is a good idea to introduce cryptocurrency to newbies, but you need to tell them about the other benefits of using the Brave browser as we know, many people prefer to use Chrome than the other browser. Perhaps, you can use the other way like you can introduce the investment side in the cryptocurrency so they can have a new type of investment. I don't think the Brave browser is recommended for newbie. I think you can tell them what is cryptocurrency and the effect when you join in cryptocurrency. Then you can tell about wallet, way to earn crypto, crypto community, etc.

It's one of those good ways to introduce to newbies how crypto works, giving them ideas that there's already system that being integrated to crypto and gives them opportunities to earned rewards. But you should also give newbies a real guidance some basic ideas that will allow them to explore even more not just for the rewards but the usage that the system brings to entire industries.

Starting with Brave browser isn't a good idea. I would start by explaining the blockchain, which is the very essence of cryptocurrency. then moving from the blockchain, I would move to the ever popular, Bitcoin. After they have a solid understanding, I would introduce other popular altcoins, such as Ethereum, litecoin and Ripple, since these are fairly high caps, it would be good to get a solid understanding of these too. then I would follow with an introduction into other altcoins suck as Brave browser and ICO’s in the end.

I dont think introduce cryptocurrency through Brave browser is a effective way because you have to introduce the difference between token and native coin if you go deeper. I think it's better to introduce crypto by talking about BTC and Ethereum first (why/how it was created, what is it benefits..etc..) as these 2 cryptocurrencies represent the whole picture of this market. I myself know about this field through an introduction about Bitcoin of my friend.

Based on my experience introducing cryptocurrency to newbies is by showing our income in the world of cryptocurrency. Let's show it
income derived from trading, mining, bounties, signature campaigns and, etc. Show them our biggest income, later on their will be curious
to find out about cryptocurrency. If they are already curious, it will be easier to make them interested in cryptocurrency. Based on my
experience, the percentage of success is around 90%, because 10% is indeed very negative towards cryptocurrency. If it's negative it's
more difficult to convince them to accept cryptocurrency.

I think there are some good books about Crypto and as well as about Bitcoin, I think newbies need to read those books before entering into crypto space. The other way is the internet which carries a lot of information about Crypto and we need to spread that information more and more.                                                                                                   

not newbies but its the children  . they said children is our future  , hehe  but newbies are somehow simillar to childrens right ? because both are on a learning process  . veterans and adult learners might learn much negativity around crypto but if we teach starters about the positivity of cryptos they will believe in it all the way until they became pro  . brave browser on the other hand is indeed a good tool to express if how crypto work .  its cool becuase almost every single people now use internet and browser is important, but the good part is they also earn crypto and be curios if what is its use  .

Indeed there is no best way to teach them aboyt cryptocurrency than telling them that they will gonna profit in this even without investing some money and honestly i think that most of all or maybe all of us are here in crypto world because of the money.

I don't think brave browser is an effective way to introduce crypto to newbies. Yes you can earn BAT through that browser, the question is how he can convert it or to send crypto? he don't have knowledge yet .. Maybe watching youtube is an effective way to know newbies about cryptos, about the blockchain, how to send, how to trade crypto to make profit, just like that.

Effective way? Let them experience first hand, how crypto currency works. We can all say whatever we know and tell them that this, and that but the thing is, it all sinks in their imagination. So what I think would be the best thing we could offer to them is let them experience crypto, it is very important in a sense they couldn't be fool easily by other people towards crypto currency.

I think to introduce a newbie to cryptocurrency is to provide an understanding of coins for peer to peer transactions. Frankly speaking, those newbies won't listen to you any longer because of the situation of the current market. Unfortunately to me some months ago, I had to preached to a newbie of the need to invest into cryptocurrency but he was fast to spot the current downtrend of the market since the beginning of 2019.

While there are many altcoins that can be seen in many apps now as token. Those who really get curious and want to earn will find way to earn like thru YouTube or this forums as many already provide tutorial to convert or how to trade it on exchanges. Those who are only dedicated to earn and gain will find put effort to study it,evem by just sharing them in social media.

to be able to introduce cryptocurrency in many beginners, I think you need a lot of media, one of which is youtube and various articles on the internet, and make sure you have mastered all the material you want to convey to them so that you will not have difficulty when explaining about cryptocurrency.

Its better to tell crypto is a virtual currency wherein you can use it to transact online. If the person is interested he/she will find ways to learn more about it.

For me, crypto currency is simply digital money of which transaction, no middle person is needed. In our life, banks play as a middle-person to transact money from one person to another or business to another business. But money transaction is done between target group without banks. It is decentralized. But nowadays, sadly cryptocurrency is being used as money laundering.

As for me, it's important that we'll inform them about its risks so they will never see it as a source of income or a shortcut to success. They should know how trading works and they should also be aware that the market is volatile. They should also know that learning about crypto isn't one-day learning. so that they are not misunderstanding the newbie, then explain that the crypto market is very volatile, so its value goes up and down. then there are a few more things, namely the security system that is still vulnerable, and transactions that cannot be canceled when it has been confirmed by the blockchain (ledger to record all transactions). there are also many crypto on the market that can be chosen as investment or trading assets. actually all of that is simple if you want to understand from the start and not just think about profits.

Base on my own experience, I will introduce by those who are open minded people and can easily to understand. Also, if they are not contented on my explanation I let them ask many question and I will answer it to the best knowledge that I have all about crypto currency.

good idea, if you introduce the cryptoqurrency industry through the Brave browser because that way users can find out more about what cryoptoqurrency is. and for me the second way is possible through social media applications, TV ads and also Yotube ads, and can introduce them directly through major seminar events in their respective countries.

I think presenting crypto to newbies is very important but very hard thing to do because all we know that there are so many bad issue and fake news about crypto so they need to clarify to them the true meaning and function of crytpo. I have difficulties in explaining to newbies also on what is crypto currencies all about and how they can earn from it even if they are not going to invest a money. I am not really familiar with brave browser so I cannot really use it in my case and in the other hand my main problem here is most of the newbies are thinking that crypto currencies is like pyramid scheming as many got scammed using the bitcoin as the front of their advertisement.

In my own personal opinion, the best way to introduce to a newbie about cryptocurrency is simply by showing them on actual how cryptocurrency works in trading, mining, and investment, so that they would start to have an interest to buy cryptocurrency for a long-term.

If you continue to discuss in line with conspiracy theories, then tell the newcomer that you do not know who and why invented Bitcoin and show the cover of the journal the economist of 1988. Tell him that the crisis may have been intentionally created by the same people who want to push their cryptocurrency to the masses. I know it sounds harsh but think it all the same. And then tell where and how you can buy, mine and store cryptocurrency safely.

In my own opinion, introducing cryptocurrency to newbies would be difficult because crypto is very complicated to understand, so i think the best way to introduce them about it is by telling them about the history of bitcoin and blockchain technolog, you could also show how you could earn money with it and the benefits of buying it.

you should not talk too much about history because in my opinion it will be boring and difficult to attract new people. so I think it's better to talk about things that are more interesting to them, and when interested, we have to take responsibility when inviting someone

i believe they will learn those things along the way once they enter crypto market,but what they need to learn is the capacity to Keep holding when market is dipping because this is the problem why many investors fail since panicking is what kills their motive in investing.

For newbies who are not into computer world, it will be very hard for them to understand cryptocurrency just like me before who took almost a year before I finally understand the concept of blockchain, and another year for me to understand the basic trading, as I am just student, so I am struggling to learn new things at limited time, but still if they want to learn they can do it.

While I was introduced bitcoin to my friends I have shown the multiple videos about cryptocurrency and planned to show practical tour to learn more about it at the weekend time.

Newbies are very slow to understand it so we may the growth from them but it takes time.

Maybe start in basic like teaching them how to send, receive and store their cryptocurrencies. I also agree with OP's suggestion about having newbies to be involved in crypto related platforms wherein they can earn and understand more about cryptocurrency. Nowadays, crypto related platforms are easy to use that even newbies can easily understand how to use it.

There are many ways to help new members know about cryptocurrency. But most referrals are very confusing and make them not interested in it. And the easiest way I've ever done to bring my friends to cryptocurrency is to introduce them to bitcointalk and participate in bounty here. I think the very first thing is to develop a sense of curiosity about cryptocurrency, what is contained in it, such as there is no sense of curiosity, why should be told? Then enter the second step usually I give some reference sources that he must learn and the rest let him determine where he wants to participate in cryptocurrency.

Better not to introduce unless they want to learn legitly. Otherwise people just learn at high level and try to most likely scam people or try to make quick money without thinking about others.

Almost everything has a tutorial video so just link them a good YT video. But if you think they needed more help, might as well teach them personally. That's what my relative did and made me get interest in this industry. We were all newbies before so, it's also good to see that there are people who are open to help others.

You must be good at an explanation for you to fully explain how Cryptocurrency works, you can have him watch you use Cryptocurrency as giving example is one of the best ways, another good way is both of you watch videos on how Cryptocurrency works and explaining to him further.

This is kinda tricky to introduce cryptocurrency to newbies that doesn't have any knowledge about them.

But the thing is, almost most of them already know the word of bitcoin and that's all. They only know that bitcoin is some kind of digital currency.

Although in cryptocurrency every opportunity was a race, and if you're going to risk on that you'll get the potential profit in return. Well I cannot say we need to introduce to them about crypto currency, Ill think it depends on them if they want to learn in crypto currency if not well its good for us. Their are lots of Newbie right now want to learn in crypto and my advice to them must take a look in youtube there are many ways to learn more basic about in crypto. For me, I don't want to introduce it to other people unless:
- they are an investor and have a background with other investments like stocks, bonds, ETF's etc.
- they are interested in cryptocurrency and have a little knowledge on it.

I don't want to introduce an investment to other people especially when I see that they are not interested on it because it will be useless. The hard truth is people always want to go for profits and not for losses. If they see that cryptocurrency is a risky investment, there is a chance that they will not be interested on investing on it since we know already how risky investing on cryptocurrency is.

One thing more is there are many advertisements already on the internet that are related to cryptocurrencies. Its up for them to decide if they want to do some research on it or not.

Well, we don't have to, but sometimes some newbies ask us about it. the way I do is quite simple if they really want to learn, I just direct them to find some information about crypto on the internet, after that, the risks and benefits, and other things. after that, I only answered questions they didn't know. that is bad i guess becaue if you say directly that crypto is about money making , they will get disapointed easily if they failed to earn a profit but if you will only be honest and tell them that crypto is mainly used for paying purposes they will not take it seriosly which wont gave them a room for disapointment because they will only use it as alternative to fiats mostly for only sites and some on offline purchase today  .

It's not always work. Im seeing that so many times when there was a lot of people are showing what they have been getting from the crypto. Some people may think if that was fake or a scam scheme.

That's a good idea, besides this forum, maybe we can set up crypto community for newbies too, because in that way we can able to help them even in a little way, as it is easy to response in a telegram so they can have quick answer with what they are asking. I guess a bounty can work but only for people who need work mostly. Not everyone has big social media account or bitcointalk account to join bounties. They also might not want to. But for earning them and learning to trade with them ita good and wont coat them anything. Just make sure you let them join a decent project or them might think all crypto is scams.

I agree to this one. Make it very simple and very understandable to newbies. Don't assume that they already have an idea. Cryptocurrency can be easily understand if they know the basic and the fundamentals. After that they can upgrade what they know when they started to immerse themselves.

Firstly, don't give them the impressions that they will start making fortune overnight. This is because most people want to come and just start to make millions of bucks and when it  turns out to be otherwise, they get disappointed.

Ask them to download and master the use. It is very easy for newbies to use non-custodian wallet compared to using exchanges.

It is quite a good suggestion but I think it needs more time to explain with them. Probably 2 weeks or more before they will learn about cryptocurrency. From buying and receiving until which wallet that might be used to keep their crypto-asset safe. OP was right, the Brave browser is the same concept with cryptocurrency. But it doesn't they promote directly to Bitcoin.

That was really great idea for the newbies but in the another side they will be disappointed because now 95% bounty campaign is garbage. If they didn’t get reward after hard working how they can adopt cryptocurrency. I think newbies first task is research to find out worthy projects than should be join. I think introducing cryptocurrencies as a form of earning is a wrong idea as this does not make newbies appreciate the technology as they should. I think it would be best to explain the rudiments of cryptocurrencies in the way of decentralization, blockchain technology etc. If the basics are well established they can explore this space their own way, no need to baby feed them.

i think its depend on who the person is. if they are smart enough and want to know more about technology, you must explain basically of bitcoin, but if they just normal people, you can explain from how to make money via internet by doing task from ico. and its really good

Beginners should start with areas that do not require investment. Their most important goal is to gain experience. When there is experience, then the money will come.

If you are going to introduce it into a complete clueless person or a legit newbie then you should keep it simple as much as possible. Explain it that it is a digital money like the one that he got in his paypal account where he can use to buy things or even invest into a stock market like where he can grow his money faster than the traditional stock market.

You are really right, first introduce people especially if  they are new into that. I will not let them to know about investment, invest this, invest that, trading this, trading that, maybe what is cryptocurrency itself, or maybe chance to earn it with some works to do, and after a while maybe can tell them to manage their assets into something that use capital.

sorry I forgot to mention the first thing I introduce to a beginner before selling coins is to join an airdrop or bounty campaign. when they have gotten tokens then next I will teach them how to sell.

Use KISS principle, it means keep it simple stupid. You can easily encourage others to use cryptocurrencies if you will explain it very simple.
