Post by: kusanagi01 on December 22, 2019, 09:22:21 PM
Hello everyone
Please I need help about sending token of ETH to exchange, 3day ago I tried to send SAI to kucoin and also coinex but always message of transaction failed . so I convert SAI to DAI (migrate) ,and even still the transactions are failed.
I thought it was just problem so I forget about this. but today I recieve token and really need now to sell it. but transactions still failed.
So is that for all users ? or only me ? I really don't know what happened.

For your first picture and your transactions gets reverted and your tokens is going back again to your wallet and that means if there is a problem with the contract and you must ask kickcoin developer directly.

for the second picture and you are not having enough ethereum to send your token and that means just put more ether and then send it again.

I'm sorry without more information, I can't help you. Something could be guessing about your problem. I'm telling you everything, you recheck your work. Contract address, name, decimal, more Ethereum than transaction cost and didn't attached wallet to others Link.

The second scenario indeed has to do with your not having enough Ethereum to complete the transaction (Gas is the fee for a transaction); getting a bit more and then resending should fix the problem.

For the first, I was doing a bit of digging into the issue and I found a brief page from MyEtherWallet on the issue (click for link (https://kb.myetherwallet.com/en/common-issues/unable-to-locate-corresponding-transfer-event-log/)). This page claims that the error results from sending more of a token than you have, though it also lists a few other scenarios where this could happen, especially with custom tokens. Considering the first error picture seems to involve a custom token, take a look at what I linked.

lol you should probably learn how to use ETH before doing so
contract address wrong, lack of simple gas, sometimes it amazes me, this is how people handle being their own bank :O
you will figure it out, just keep spamming it :P :P  (heres a hint: READ what it says ;) )

I have the same problem like first pictire can't send Kicktoken into Kucoin, but the problem I only need get the right address for Kicktoken in Kucoin, sometimes they already change the address without notice. Second picture is same like others need more eth as gas to send. Refill your eth balance and do that again. If still error please contact Kucoin support to get solution, prepare your self because there's a chance the mistake is yours not from exchanges.

about the second one it was really weird because I have amount of ETH, I have more than 1ETH in my wallet but transaction still failed !!! even I choose the fast option of high gaz but still same problem. So I send it to my brother but he get the same problem when want send it to kucoin.

about the first one, I though it about contract ,but seem like the contract is true. I also tried to send litter ,for example I have 800 ,i just try to send 790 but still nothing :(

here is my wallet : 0x1426FBd146942e153653863cbe633780c17268DA

There are 3 of the transaction send already and confirm by network base on the address you given. I dont really know what is the problem about this but i also experience that before maybe network problem or contract problem just keep trying to send it and if its failed do it in another day.

I think there is only one possibility. The network instability will happen during the conversion of many projects from Ethereum tokens to mainnet tokens. This situation will continue for some time, please be patient, after the network is normal, you can successfully trade.

As the transaction fails, you will not lose anything, unless the transaction is successful, there will be a reduction in your ETH wallet.
My advice is to be careful again about the address in the exchange wallet.

if you have trouble sending your token then you can try to add the transaction fee limit that you use or you can also ask directly to the token platform which is usually in the telegram looking for information that the token transaction is being locked or not, in your case I see it seems the transaction fee too small.

Make sure you have enough gas to send your tokens and review the contract and compare it with the correct contract of the token you are suppose to be sending, there are a lot of scammers out there who are selling tokens with similar names but different contract, that's something we need to careful of also.

Try to increase the price for sending, check the address of the contract, try to use a different network in the wallet. I was helped by the use of another network.

Increase your transaction fee. After increase trx fee you can transfer your token and there will be no problem. After increasing trx fee if you face same problem then the token is locked.in this matter you have to contact with project members to confirm that token is locked or unlocked.

Some tokens do require a large gas fee, I've experienced them. It could be that the problem of transfering the ERC20 token to the exchanger wallet is a different smart contract or it could be that the token has already been converted to a new smart contract

Title: Re: problem sending ETH token to exchange

You use MEW or metamask, if MEW seems like you are too rushed to send the token so that the gas limit has not changed correctly, you should do a manual setting of GAS LIMIT contents with 100000, if KICKICO seems like the contract address is locked so you cannot send their tokens

dude, he has 1 eth in his balance so I don't think the problem is with the gas but on the contract he might have entered the wrong contract, has asked for his brother's help but always in the same situation, I think indeed on his smart contract he entered the wrong address.

Follow my lead
1. Make sure you manually add the contract address
2. Make sure the contract address is correct.
3. Make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet for gas

Title: Re: problem sending ETH token to exchange

I think the problem is the gas fee, i don't know that name of the wallet you are using, you will need to import your private key into another wallet that allow raising gas fee or lowering it, e.g coinomi wallet, if gas fee is not enough you transaction won't go successfully

This problem not for mew or gas fees  :'(
Frozen tokens are tokens that are locked up for a certain period of time or until certain conditions are met. In this case, more detailed instructions on how to unlock the bonus KickTokens will be published when KickEX exchange is launched. The conditions will be easy and as simple as ever.
I connect this article from their telegram so still lock and it will publish unlock when their exchange ready.

The first photo shows that the token is locked by the publisher and they haven't unlocked it yet, so you can't send it, while the second picture shows you missing the cost of the gas to send that token, if you increase the gas charge but can't send it. then you must contact the SAI project to update the situation.

There are only two options why your transaction didnīt gro through.
1) you set low gas limit - you have to pay higher fees (gas) to miners
2) tokens are locked in a smart-contract - this you will not affect, ask team why they locked tokens.  8)

Very simple to fix this problem. You need to check that your ETH wallet has added the token contract you want to move and then prepare the ETH amount needed to make Gas fee, it's best to let Gas cost as high as possible. And your transaction will be done smoothly

everyone here has explained everything, namely the problem may be due to insufficient ETH gas fees (you put it too small), and could be due to problems in the smartcontract token, if it is still locked then you will not be able to make outgoing transactions/transfer to the wallet other.

if you check in the picture 2, there's a remark that says "out of gas", that means his ETH is not enough to cover the transaction fee, and sorry I can't see where's the 1 ETH you are talking, pardon me, please tell where to see it.

with 10 Gwei I always smoothly in transactions, maybe you should have an Ethereum balance of more than  0.01 for fees, because it's usually difficult to send if your balance isn't enough for gas

Maybe the token is currently being locked or frozen by their team. the rest if there is no problem with the contract system, most likely a mistake on you and try again very thoroughly. no one can help you, because your private key is your right. I suggest contacting the relevant team, and looking for an official telegram group, I'm sure there will be help with a quick response.

For KickICO token you have check back with their telegram channel because developer and owner unlock their coin more than 30 days later, my friend received this coin and can't sent to exchange wallet although have good price for selling, for more update information you can ask at the official telegram channel to know about this coin frozen or not to send.

The first problem is already solved right? Since that transaction is reverted it means the coins are sent back to your wallet. No problem at all about that.

The second problem is all about gas fees. Others are already giving you instructions on how to handle them properly. I guess that is already solved by now as well.

No more problems I guess?

If no action is taken, the Ethereum is returned. That doesn't mean the Ethereum is destroyed. Unless you sent him to the wrong address. Sometimes there are setbacks. It makes sense to send it by increasing the fee.

The answer has been found, try to write this thread more thoroughly and if you are confused try reading the methods on the site or in this forum thread. when you are confused again then immediately ask again, and do not hesitate to do the questions again if needed

I was sending this token some days ago with high gas fees but still pending and after 1 day failed.

Maybe this their system project not in myetherwallet in my opinion i want ask kicktoken telegram channel Maybe their will give a info about it.
Then you need to do some digging using google, the reason might be a token swap or the project contract address is no more functional, you can join the project telegram channel and ask the team

For the second problem, your account does not have enough Gas to make transactions. Please try to raise GAS to the highest possible level and transaction fee should also increase. At that time I think your transaction will be successful, I have encountered such a case before. And with my method, I completed it quite easily

This issue isn't a big deal. It's most likely you don't have enough gas fee or you are not sending to the right address. Something might be wrong with the contract address. Chat up kucoin support about it. Faled transaction are always reverted to your Wallet.

Hi Kusanagi01,
It seems you may be adjusting your Ethereum fees too low for the transaction to go through. You can consult this article for help setting correct ETH fees in Coinomi: https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000021802 (that is if you decided to access your wallet in Coinomi to send)

If you require further help then please could you open a ticket at support.coinomi.com so we can take a closer look and offer support.

Thank you
