I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

I expect to have better life from the previous one,sometimes it happened but most of the time it got backfired. :D Yes I am also interested to know how much I am lucky by placing few bets on this new year but also have some resolutions related to spending the spare time so have to allocate less time for entertainment like gambling.

That is a part of superstitious belief, you believed that it will happen again even though we know that it is impossible to happen again. Probably the second scenario was considered a lucky day but I dont know the third one if you can repeat the situation. There is nothing wrong if we try to gamble at this new year's come and hoping that we will win. As long as the amount you have to spend is affordable to your pocket and ready to lose if ever. Just try it and who knows on that day still your lucky day.

I had one part of life, when my child was sick, it lasted about a month, I spent so much time on him that I forgot to gamble.
But now that the new year has come, I'm simply forced to go and try my gambling skills, and I realized that just having a day on all other days is just some euphoria.

New year's luck? I don't have it.

The thing happened to you is just simply a pure coincidence one.It did happen 2x in a row but you cant be sure that it would happen this upcoming new year.Dont make big bets or have those YOLO bets if you dont like to end up on having a very bad new year yet you spend and burn out soo much money.
Play in moderation and just cherish if you do win 3x in a row if ever youre still lucky enough but dont expect nor believe that Holidays is an exception for you not to lose.

Sure there is a reflection, the pay out rate will reflect the gains and losses of previous bets.   I'd say theres a mood to the betting over a holiday season that might vary from normal and somehow reflect better in luck for yourself over normal hours and betting levels.

Your mind was the one bringing you to came up with that conclusion, before you gambling, you have thinking if you will win and you ended up just like your thinking before. There won't be any change in the casino it just runs as it is developed. It doesn't have New Year or Christmas, if we're lucky the New Year or the present year will bring us big wins, if we don't have the same it is a must to accept the loss as we're sure to gamble expecting something out of it. Anyhow I'm not gonna quit gambling, but expect a better year 2020, because the present year made me get into debt. By the end of 2020 I need to be free from debt, this can be through gambling or any other sources.

Like you said, its a "misconception" that you have heard. In other words, people are just being superstitious. The "New Year Luck" you are talking about doesn't actually exist. Your outcomes on a (legit) casino does not depend on the "New Year". Remember, when gambling, all these factors doesn't matter at all. If you are meant to roll a  number, no matter what happens, you will roll that number.

Anyways, on a serious note, I don't think there is any such thing. It's one of those misconceptions. However, the truth still remains that if you think you will be lucky in New Years, you will.. It's more like a law of attraction.  The mindset attracts the deeds.

I am not playing gambling anymore but I have the same story like you, being lucky when the year is about to end. I always win in raffle, and it also happened 2 years in a row since 2018, I won a set of Aegis Legend, and now I won again a set of Vape by entering a free raffle, I even won Krogo's free physical coin after giving it so many tries, but at last, I won.

I concluded that each of us have our own phase that we should follow, we shouldn't haste ourselves on progressing or getting the things that we wanted in life, it is better to be patient as always.

This has been happening with me for 5 years now. Every new year my mind says "I will be lucky this year" but my luck always takes a U turn. No, I do not believe in New Year Luck. It has never favoured me and I do think it will be the same in future years.

The casino will not changes, but they can change their rules to be better than before. But I think you need to save that money, don't use it for the not useful thing. We don't know what will happen to us in the next year, so if you can save that money, then if you face an urgent situation which needed money, you are ready, and you can use that money to cover that urgent thing.

I also just feel the same, even is new year is near; I do not think that my luck will increase. I just a gambler for fun and not for profession. Recently, I won in gambling and it that gives me a good feeling. My luck is made and it is not something that just pop up. Luck is factor in gambling but the thing is it is created. How we can create it? it is simply by enhancing our gambling skill and improving our strategies.

Winning in gambling will always be unexpected, you will never know when and where you can have good fortune that is why you should never have high expectations because sometimes it never turns out as good as you expected. Well, it is luck. It's such an intangible factor in life that what you said might be true, that you really are luck during New Years'. BUT, that is solely limited to you and I really want you to be careful in believing this kind of luck based on occasion thing. It's easy to believe in luck, but really, once a storm hits you because of your belief of this "luck", then you can only pray that you don't lose too much. It's fine to believe in luck, just remember to always stop when you know your ahead, and don't venture in too deep, for you may not find the way back anymore.

If you believe in something like that, then you should continue doing that. I'm just here to say that you might not be able to get that all the time because it cannot always be like that, and I'm saying this so that you wouldn't expect, and you won't be hurt when you lose during the new year. feel lucky, of course. it's just that, how much am I lucky? not much, but I always feel lucky when betting at casino or sportbet even though I don't win a lot at least I can still withdraw the money.

Well, yea it is indeed a misconception. Luck is pretty weird and intangible, and you can't assume that because 2 years of testing made you believe that you're lucky every New Year. Test it a 100 times, a thousand times, you'd see the inconsistencies in your belief, especially since we are talking about luck here, which is the most incomprehensible factor in a humans status. I have not experienced that in the past, but in the past two new years I did not gamble because I prefer to drink and eat and be merry I have a whole year to gamble, but right now I just want to reflect on the past year and plan of the future and I start it by having a good drinks and be merry this new year.

Luck depends on the situation or just your luck. What I'm trying to say is that luck doesn't have a specific time or schedule. When it's your day, then it's your day. But since it's a tradition here in my country that when celebrating New year, coins in the pocket, or wearing polka dots will bring you luck. My luck depends on the exact day but that's not depended on the calendar days or events. Some days are ofcourse more lucky than others and some are really cursed.

I don't see any difference when the calendar changed from 2019 to 2020. Its just a number. If you are lucky, then you are lucky, it will not depend on the changing of dates and year. That is right, luck it doesn't matter of time or when it is and you can't predict when your luck will happen. But if you have been won 2 consecutive years in a row, probably it will happen again. Just try again probably still your luck was there but it will never give any assurance that you will win. I feel more "reckless" when I gamble around new years because I feel like this is the time to make a new start, either I will lose all my money and "will stop gambling" which never happens or I will make a lot of money and treat myself a good gift for new years. No not really, for me New year does not really give an extra luck because luck has no exact time or date and it doesn’t if it’s New year or not if your lucky then you are lucky. Luck will come anytime without we know. I agree that a new year means a new start to have a plan to change into better than the last year. New years provide new perception and positive idea in life, it already gives us luck that we were able to face the new year healthy and alive. It's just we don't know if we're lucky in gambling as gambling is too risky to determine and we don't know whether we're doing it right so luck came. i dont think so everyone experiences luck on or close to new year time. If you have won for two consecutive years, remember someone somewhere would have lost at the same time. For me actually, I don't rely on luck that much because want to stay realistic in every gamble activities that I do and I want to believe that I win because of my skills and not because of my luck.

If it happened again 2 years in a row that you always win every new year. If i were you i will try to gamble this new year to and take that chance because i might win again that means i am really lucky every new year. I might use a lot of money that i gamble because i might double it.

I don't track most of my bets every new year to know this so i'd say no, each gambling day is just the same for me, If I was lucky to get a win streak going at a certain day, that would be more of a coincidence rather than feeling luckier.

I feel like it's normal (new year or not).  I personally do not feel the new year is a new fortune because anytime I might get lucky.  in 2019 I've been lucky several times in gambling, and it happens randomly (not only in the new year).

Indeed I feel lucky but then I feel lucky almost everyday due to some occasion or the other lmao. Since it is related to the result of our gambling activity, I do not think that luck will come when there is a special event like Christmas or New Year. I can say that if you get more win on a special event, it is just a coincidence because good luck and bad luck may come anytime. I dont think the casino has any part or influence to play  during the new year and it maybe because of how people majorly play during the new year. They either give it all as they expect to change during new year or they play safe expecting to be like it in the new year. Thats what I think, its the behaviour of people that comes into play

To some extent you are right as if you are going to win by luck then you win any time and for this you will not have to wait till New year. If you are not lucky then you can lose even if it’s new year night but no one can make you win. So people wins with luck and effort and for this we can get chance anytime even on new year we can get thing chance.

Nah, I feel more lucky when I am in the mood because I just feel it. No specific time or date when this happens. But if you think you feeling more lucky when there's a special occasion or a holiday season, think again. I already gave up on that kind of superstition before, it's actually has no effect because luck is just around the corner. We all have our superstitious belief and some of it is based on our own belief. I haven't tried gambling during new year but I respect those who believe that they're luckier in the new year. We can have our own luck in our own perfect time. It's important that we'll gamble when we feel lucky because that attracts winnings.

I don't necessarily feel more lucky, but I do gamble more than I usually do because I'm with friends and family, and I always like to have a good time under these sorts of circumstances. Nothing else changes unless the casino lowers the house edge or something of the sort for a holiday promotion, and any abnormalities that happen while you're gambling are purely random.

I usually go out at this time of the year to gamble IRL and do other activities too. If you've got the time, I highly suggest you do too- people won't be here forever, but there's always more opportunities to gamble or make money.

I am going to test my luck to today in sports betting because last year I was disappointing because did not get good results in my selection of games in gambling it has cost me big loss but today I going place bets in England premium league games I hope my selection will be better this time.

Personally I feel lucky almost every years because, I thought its a new year and a new beginning for my gambling career. Although, most of my resolutions will reflect my actual positive stand which will yield positively. I will train more harder than before and will make a leaving for my families and equally for my humble self.

What do you mean when you say you get a whale? because basically in gambling we do not usually rely on whales as our profits mainly be based on pure luck if we will win or not.
