Title: ✅Guide for Beginners in the world on cryptocurrencies✅
Post by: HBKMusiK on January 02, 2020, 05:56:19 PM
This guide was first posted in the Romanian section: here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2979514.0) but I decided that much more users can benefit from it so I translated it in English.

I'm going to start by posting a glossary of terms first, it will take something to translate everything from the original post because I have a lot of work to do besides that and I'm quite lazy as a person. Here you go :

ATH  - All-Time High
Bearish - Downward Trend
BFX, Finex – BitFinex exchange-

FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out.
FUD -Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt
H&S  – Head and Shoulders chart pattern
Halving/halving – The reward for miners decreases. It happens 1 time every 4 years at Bitcoin.
Hoobi – Huobi Exchange
HODL / HOLD – basically long-term investing. Only used sometimes in comments: Hold On Despite Loss
ICO - Initial Coin Offering.
KYC -  Know Your Customer
Long – a form of buying (you believe that the coin you bought will rise in price)
Short – a form of selling (you get the idea)
Market cap: price per coin/token X circulating supply
Max Supply – total number of coins/tokens that will ever exist
Miner - device that validates the transactions of the blockchain
Mnemonic Phrase –  a secret group of words that represent a wallet

With all due respect, isn't "posting twice in a row" is against the rules of the forum, I've been told about it:

Quote

(..snip..) and please refrain from posting twice in a row, you should edit your first post, ask your question there and then delete the second post, in fact if I am not mistaken , what you just did is against the forum rules.
