This guide was first posted in the Romanian section: here but I decided that much more users can benefit from it so I translated it in English.

I'm going to start by posting a glossary of terms first, it will take something to translate everything from the original post because I have a lot of work to do besides that and I'm quite lazy as a person. Here you go :
Altcoin - abbreviation from alternative coin, or all the projects that exist except Bitcoin
AML  – Anti-Money Laundering.
ATH  - All-Time High
Bearish - Downward Trend
BFX, Finex – BitFinex exchange-
Bullish - Upward Trend
CB – Coinbase Exchange
C&H  – Cup and Handle chart pattern
Core wallet - a wallet that contains the blockchain
Circulation supply - number of coins/tokens in circulation
Dapps - decentralized application
DCA  – Dollar Cost Averaging
Fiat – money without intrinsic value that is issued and regulated by a government. Example: $, £, ¥, € Fib - Fibonacci retracement
FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out.
FUD -Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt
H&S  – Head and Shoulders chart pattern
Halving/halving – The reward for miners decreases. It happens 1 time every 4 years at Bitcoin.
Hoobi – Huobi Exchange
HODL / HOLD – basically long-term investing. Only used sometimes in comments: Hold On Despite Loss
ICO - Initial Coin Offering.
KYC -  Know Your Customer
Long – a form of buying (you believe that the coin you bought will rise in price)
Short – a form of selling (you get the idea)
Market cap: price per coin/token X circulating supply
Max Supply – total number of coins/tokens that will ever exist
Miner - device that validates the transactions of the blockchain
Mnemonic Phrase –  a secret group of words that represent a wallet
P&D  – Pump and Dump
P/L, P&L, PNL  – Profit and Loss
Polo – Poloniex exchange
Public key – the key which you can share when you need to receive a payment (you can share this key with anyone)
Private key – a key used to access a wallet (don't share this key)
Rekt – wrecked. Losing a trade
Satoshi – the smallest part from one ฿itcoin . 1 Satoshi = 0.00000001 ฿..
Stop – stop-loss order
TA – Technical Analysis
Whale – one entity that buys a big amount of coins/tokens.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

With all due respect, isn't "posting twice in a row" is against the rules of the forum, I've been told about it:

Quote

(..snip..) and please refrain from posting twice in a row, you should edit your first post, ask your question there and then delete the second post, in fact if I am not mistaken , what you just did is against the forum rules.
