But if you want to learn analyze the chart and learn to make a price prediction then this is the best site for you to learn https://www.tradingview.com/

I advise you to read this thread: Trading Cheat Sheet Collection (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4846473.0).

As the title says, it's a cheat sheet, it's good for starters like you so that you will learn how to read those graphs and come up with your own trading strategy. Best of luck.

Actually I am also not good at trying to graph and see the real point prices, but I always use TradingViews for my learning, I can operate there according to my expectations and I am still learning about this chart, I know many experts in this chart but want to learn and know for yourself without from others.

One vote for tradingview.com. Explore their user friendly site. They are offering more than crypto markets. They also have stocks and other markets. They even have a gauging meter indicating whether it is buying time or not.

But more than that, try to watch tutorial videos first about charting. Much better if you start knowing the different charting tools.

I think a couple of good youtube videos on chart reading and technical analysis would help. You  probably should search this on youtube: "how to read crypto trading charts" or "tutorials on crypto chat reading" . And you could also watch few videos on technical analysis while you learn how to read chart.
I'd also recommend practicing on a crypto demo trading site while you learn how to trade from the videos.

Better still you can start with the basic and elementary features of charting techniques by visiting babypips.com where you would find some vital information relating to charts in addition to youtube videos. More so learn some candlesticks patterns which would aid your trading journey though it might be tough initially however with time you would it would be very easy.

If we want to read charts, then it is good if we will seek information about technical analysis. Technical analysis is important skills in order for us to understand the chart and able to read it. Candlestick is what we see in the chart, it is about the daily prices of a specific coin. At first it is really hard to understand it, but if you have passion in trading you will able to learn it.

Keep practice maybe can really helpful. Because learn first about read chart but if we're not practice we can't see any condition of market that will happen. Sometimes my friend said to me that i must keep trading with analysis to make my read chart skill better, but i am person who can't do serious thing like that.

Learn to read trading charts is not that easy as it looks like and it takes time to learn. This is also an important tool to create our TA.

I'm not expert, I still learn how to trading just like you, but at the first time I read the chart, I tried to understand what is support and resistance. This article can help you https://www.investopedia.com/trading/support-and-resistance-basics/
After you understand support and resistance, you can research more about chart pattern, there are plenty of chart pattern, match it with your trading strategy.

Firstly, you need to understand that learning cryptocurrency is a gradual process and crypto is not a quick to rich scheme. With that been said, you need to watch some crypto trading course video on YouTube but i will also advise you to learn in first from the etoro trading academy (https://www.etoro.com/trading/academy/).

It's not just about time but experience. Someone who's experience can spot patterns very quickly and not get caught offguard.

IMO it takes 5-10 years of trading to master good chart reading skills.
Everything should really be learnt and it does takes time depending on how fast you do absorbed and learn those things you meet along the way.
It isnt easy as it sounds though because learning technicals and fundamentals isnt really that easy. 5-10 is somewhat exaggerated though.

Heres some old video that do help me out, specially for beginners.

I've read a few books and studied technical Analysis or chart reading for a little while. Some people like to argue that it's useless and there's no way anybody can know where the price will go next. In my opinion, it's about psychology, and that's actually what the charts represent. Overall the charts themselves don't cause the price to move up and down, they simply show the bullish or bearish psychology of the market. Once you understand that psychology you can then start to understand things a bit more.

That's correct. Experience count mostly in every crypto investment activities and despite the fact that i have been into crypto for years i still learn more every day, so learning crypto trading is something that will take years but what's very important is knowing the basic part of it, knowing the best time to enter/exit the market and how to avoid losses.
Meanwhile, the bitcoin halving season is always the best time to learn crypto trading because the market usually experienced surge in price.

Start by learning one simple indicator like RSI and once you knew how this indicator give you signals, then learn another indicator that will support the signal of the RSI like the Stoch RSI or the MACD. There are actually trading trading systems that you can follow such as the crossing of the moving averages.

I find this thread valuable of information. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5212144.0
His website provide a trading system you can follow, you don't have to buy his indicators, here is the link http://indicator.vip/

You should probably start by identifying WHAT makes up a chart. What are the characteristics of the X and Y axis in the graphs, what does a rise and fall indicate. There are also a bit of factors involved in reading charts, depending on how the analyst made the analysis. A sample is a TA based on the Fibonacci chart of the 10 years of BTC. You can start off simple with reading highs and lows of a chart and something similar. Just google them up tbh.

Here are some I found:

There are a variety of charts that are made in the scene and reading them may take different point of views, so there isn't really only a single way of reading them, just like how there isn't a single way of creating them. Take your time, and just watch youtube videos about analysis and try and take it into your hands HOW they came up with the said analysis. Don't worry about making a mistake, and even if you do, don't ever be afraid of being corrected. Experience is your friend when studying and analyzing charts. You can try and look up about Line charts first and foremost, and proceed to other types once you think that you're done studying them.

In every type of market there are powerful persons and organization that can manipulate the price. In stock market there are jockeys who have power to pump and dump a specific stocks while in cryptocurrency market, there are whales who have huge amount of bitcoin that can easily influence its movement. Manipulation is everywhere we cannot do about it and for me it is now normal.
Price manipulation act is played in every investment atmosphere but i dont beliefe theres nothing we can do about it because we can completely seize the opportunity that comes with it somewhat than preoccupation  with it negative impact on the market.

Yeah because it's decentralized the the price was so cheap before, people who already bought bitcoins when the price was so cheap must be owned so many cryptocurrency assets right now and they could pump and dump a coin easily, so price manipulated was not a secret again right now

Yes, price manipulation is not something secretive but the last time i examined people are whales in the cryptosphere are the early miners and this are the same set of people that usually cause the dump in price of some new project coin/token while some people blame the bounty hunters for it.

If you want to read trading charts, study the basic parts of the candlestick first. Learn how to identify the open and closing price of a coin. After you learn the basic parts of the candlestick, you should learn the basic patterns of a bullish and bearish movement so you can have an idea on what are the possible outcomes. You should do it, step by step and always take your time.

I agree, there are too many videos and blog that study on the reading chart you can simply google it and you will find the right answer. Reading trading charts is very important because in this way you can able to have fundamental and technical analysis on your own without relying upon other's work. E-toro exchange platform allows newbies to copy/paste the work of expert traders maybe this will help you to start with. But to start the amount that you can afford to lose.

Reading is not that easy to do when we all know that bitcoin is very volatile compared to other alt coins. You should trade depending on the chart because it will serves us your guide when and how much you'll trade. Analyzing charts can give you hint or knowledge so that when you trade, you prevent losses and you can manipulate your money. Planning is also important in trading, technical analysis and good decision making will also help you to a successful trading.

Trust me no one is perfect here. Specially in the market like cryptocurrency where manipulation and volatility is way too high, technicals can deceiving. The more important thing than technicals is your stop loss. Stop loss is really critical to crypto trading. For getting hang of technical analysis in crypto keep on doing hit and trial. You will learn better that way instead of following some tutorial. Remember to try only with small amounts or you can also go for paper trading.

it is very dificult to make pridiction of prices in crypto because every year prices give new chart ( year 1 prices up ) ( year 2 prices down ) or  (year 1 up ) ( year 2 up ).......
the good strategie is hold for long term . for example prices of bitcoin now very cheap because halving comming and each halving prices rose a lot

You are still in the early stage of doing trades and currently gaining basic knowledge that's why you are curious. It's usual and common.

However, reading the crypto chart is not as simple as someone will say "this line meant.. this line goes... this line should..., etc. Maximize your studies by referring to various sources around about trading. There are lots honestly in the form of articles and videos, whatever you preferred. No one here will take you in 1 on 1 whole course study about it.

And to your last question, obviously, I must say changed your thinking about the "easy way" as to how easy reading charts will depend on how far you understand it. Even someone or somewhere, they make the explanation simple as they can, it doesn't mean you will catch that easily. Don't rush and just continue your progress. Soon that question will be answered by yourself.

at first it was difficult but all can be adjusted, after you understand the basic indicators such as rsi and macd, then match your strategy with the adjusted tf, then any chart movement will be easy to understand, you can do it through tradingview, or advanced charts on your exchange trading, if you are familiar, then you can easily learn the other indicators.

How do you read charts because i am still exploring and i don't know how read a charts anybody can help me with this? What is the best way to learn reading charts in an easiest way.

You need to experiment with different ways of charting to see what works for you, visually. This distinction between line charts, bar charts, and candlestick charts is an important starting point:

https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex/types-of-charts

Candlesticks are one of the primary components of my analysis. This is a good tutorial that covers pattern recognition and support/resistance as they relate to candlesticks: Understanding Basic Candlestick Charts (https://www.investopedia.com/trading/candlestick-charting-what-is-it/)

I recommend keeping things very simple to start. Begin with a basic candlestick (or bar) chart, volume, a moving average like the 20-MA, and a momentum oscillator like RSI. Some additional tutorials for those:

basically charts are market data from traders, in this life everything usually has a pattern that is repeated, Likewise with trading charts, because trading is influenced by human psychology, I will give an example, someone usually has almost the same daily activities, wake up, have breakfast, go to work, go home, sleep, weekend rest, that person will do the activity repeatedly so that I can guess what he will do, the same is true of trade, if you look at the trade chart it has a pattern that repeats itself, your job is to understand or learn those patterns, maybe you can use indicators to make it easier to understand the pattern.

It's quite simple. The first thing is that you need to look at the large time frame then you will look at the charts with small time frame. Normally, you should look at the chart 1 week ago, then you can easily identify the trend of the coin you are wondering. After that, you will find good points to open order. 1D and 4H time frames are beautiful time frames for you to make open orders. Those are the most basic things that you should know when looking at a chart.
I hope its as simple as what you said. Reading charts is not like pulling up a photo from your wallet and ask how many people do you see? How many people do you see wearing a coat? You will find it odd that we may be looking at the same chart but we have a different interpretation. Using tools like Bollinger Bands, RSI and Parabolic SAR will help you in reading charts.

Reading charts is a very straightforward activity, but it seem that what you want to do is to read the charts and obtain profits in the process, and that is a more complex issue, the most important thing is to know exactly what you are looking for in the charts and then as soon as you see what you are looking for then you need to act on it, your strategy needs to be coherent and even more importantly it needs to be profitable and there are not many strategies like that in the market.

Acting aggressively will be effective when green market is visible on the chart. Hitting the potential pumps, is a quicker decision which can be achieved by means of frequent price changes. Fluctuations is somehow helpful in plotting an increasing chart flow, and when a possible target will be meet you'll able to grab the best opportunity in selling you desired price.

Technicals can deceived ?Are you sure with that? I do not agree to you because chart doesn't lie. A chart can prove if we are wrong or right. Reading charts can help us to understand the market and it can also help us to buy at right time and sell in the right time. Technical analysis is really good to use because we can study the past data in order to know where the price heading.

Watch as many free youtube videos about how to read trading charts, get onto Twitter and follow some traders that like to chart, read some articles, etc
Watching more videos and sort those information that can help you to fully understand the chartings, Never to rush and quickly jumped into conclusions instead, try to work with options that can helps you to build your good understanding behind the  industry that you wanted to deal with. Charts have differences and your own analyzation will always matter to your success.

Manipulation includes fast movements, cannot be considered deceptive because they can be speculative, and TA is also not always about stop loss. I agree with you. Technically, analysis always leads to support and resistance, traders use it to determine the actual price range. If it only refers to patterns that change suddenly due to the influence of BTC activities, it can indeed be excluded, but that is not purely manipulation.

I hope he is really reading all the replies here.
Some of them are really good.

Funny thing though is I didn't even tried to read charts before. (not as technical as other here)
I just used it for historical background.
If bitcoin as example. Finding what month it was pumped or you could even use days. Like, if Sundays exchange are more lively.

I did spot on without learning those things. But I still managed to make profit.

Read trading chart is not easy, you should start learn about indicator first because that's the main part. Many explanation already exist in many site but for me using indicator make me easy to read market movement. You can use trend line as first step, read how to use it and find the best way for you. Read market using candlestick is also good but you need to understand market movement can't predictable, can change direction any time with out confirmation. Explore this forum and you'll find what you need, good luck to you.

I think the moving avarage is a simple technique for new trader. You can learn more about it before you start trading and maybe you need a several times to understand how to trade with this technique.

Another suggestion, when you intend to be a trader you may need to focus to learn one technique/startegy only. Don't shuffle with the another strategy it may be a trap for you. Then, when you are already mastered its technique/strategy you are freely to learn another technique and you can make it as a comparison.

The easiest way is having a will to learn charts because honestly it was never been easy to read as there are so many chart patterns it takes time and effort to apply it and see it for yourself in the live charts. Another thing is not all patterns are the same as we saw in the books it is most often misnterpreted because learning isn't only by putting it on our mind or remembering all the patterns .It was a skill that we need to apply learn and adjust how the patterns can transform not into the favorable pattern because of its psychology.

It is difficult to explain because there are so many things that make up a complete chart. It is also very difficult for you to analyze a chart correctly, it is best to search for related videos on youtube about the charts and you will be guided in detail with the photo. Then tradingview.com will be the place to help you perform chart analysis tests on your own terms. It took me a very long time to understand the charts of analysts in this market, which is not really easy and you need to start slowly and carefully.

So using all those resources that you mentioned is good for us. Knowledge is important to gain that we can get from anywhere. Trading is not easy if you are lack of knowledge about it.

to be able to trade days and learn graphic movements is certainly not easy, and of course it takes quite a long time, because the ups and downs of coins in my opinion I can't predict by looking at charts, learning to be able to memorize altcoin movements and learning to be able to predict correctly in trading , but all of that is not easy, so you should be able to learn to analyze the movements of the coins you want to buy and trade, discussing to trade is very important for those of us who don't know how, but our own predictions and speculations are very important to be able to determine our trade.

I have been involved in this cryptocurrency market for several years and saw many people analyzing the trading charts. Most of them only make general speculations and do not have any grounds.
The cryptocurrency market reacts to the news, if there's good news the price will rise and if there's bad news the price will fall. If you want to be the best trader you should not read the charts, it will not lead you anywhere.

Here is my Opinion on reading Price Charts ...

Chart reading dont make sense just for the sake of reading charts. You dont get anything out of it.

Nevertheless charts can help to identify trading opportunities if you know how to use chart reading the right way. The best way using them is as a benchmark to adjust your risk while interpreting ongoing chart information after you opened up a trade.

But it is hindsight interpreting of what ppl were doing in the past. Nothing more!

You are always late when trading charts and have to react instead of acting (just one approach is worse to me: technical indicators). The most trading approaches that are using charts to forecast moves and bet on those forecast to earn money have no significant edge to stay profitable in the long run. You need to spot self fullfilling prohecies and those sometimes appear and sometimes dont.

With a lot of experience in a market niche you can succeed if you have the skill to just focus on that very special setup. But another problem then appears: A lack of opportunity which decreases your overall earnings. More risk per trade is essential when trading the rarest chances.

I use charts for Daily Trading as one part of my strategy but I also mix it up with fundamentals respective volume analysis and in some cases seasonals.

For Intraday Trading you should get bigger advantage when using a proper and institutional linked orderbook/ flow  approach - especially trading stocks. Because it allows you to look deep inside the market in real time not hindsight. Give you the chance to truly anticipate where the smart money is going to position itself. And that's what you want as a small trader: position yourself with the Big Ones.

Cheers ...

I have to disagree with this. Learning the charts on the video is good but I don't think you will learn the best from it if you started out in that way. At least try to learn technical analysis with books first as reading is a much better approach onto learning anaything and with you having knowledge on the subject the Youtube videos you will be viewing would be easier to understand or to see if what he is telling is accurate because a lot of Youtube channels contradicts on what they are saying.

For the start package, a simple explanation is required with patience by the YouTubers. Anything related to the trading is not rocket science, just hard work will take the trader to the level that trader can use the real trading account without worrying about the melting trading balance. It is debatable how effective is to learn trading methods, strategies, money management with reading the books, real experience is indispensable.

There is no easy way to understand and read the charts. You need to have previous knowledge about understanding graphs. There are various strategies and patterns which makes it easy to understand graph. Graphs move in a specific way and once you understand the way, you can easily get to know how they really work. Usually we see graphs in candle patterns, you can apply few strategies to that pattern which will then help you explain the chart more deeply.

I still firmly believe that going straight to Youtube channels to learn trading isn't the right way to go. Even if you have the patience and determination to learn you still won't understand it fully without learning the basics. Because I'm sure that if newbies will go in the Youtube rout they will only try to watch videos related to crypto trading and by doing so they'll be missing the bigger picture of technical analysis and that involves the basics of trading. That's why if you want to learn TA I would still go to TA books related to stocks as they have been revised and sold a lot of times already.

The best way to read the chart is to learn about trendlines. That knowledge will tell you what the price of that asset is at and you should buy or sell. There will be 2 cases that are uptrend and downtrend. You can learn more about uptrend and downtrend on Youtube. Below is a guide to drawing trendlines for newbie:

One of the best things about technical analysis is that you are dealing with information that is impossible to fake and to falsify, this is not entirely true when it comes to fundamental analysis in which any financial report that you read about a particular company could be completely false, and this has happened too many times in the history of stocks, but technicals do not lie, however no indicator is going to tell you accurately all the time when the market is going to go up or down.

Reading the chart is quite simple. It means that we must know what the market trend is and we should decide where to buy or sell. The first thing you need to do is turn on the D1 time frame to see how the market has moved in the past 2 or 3 months, whether it is moving sideways or up or down. Then, when you identify the current trend, you will know you should favor Short or Long trend.
After completing the first step, you will come to the second step and this step is harder. You need to have knowledge of TA. It is not too complicated if you are willing to learn, you can learn Price Action first to understand the market better. I usually study at this site:

There are thousands of online paid courses teaching you about trading. You can find most of them on udemy and you can choose one depending on the ratings but yet, until and unless you personally practice trading you will not have that immense knowledge.

Try to start trading with some simulators o paper trading where you can be able to start trading without actually investing any money. You will gain some experience over there. Then you can start following few experienced traders might be on tradingview or similar platforms where you can copy trade their strategies and discover your own by making huge research.

There you would gain much more experience. Once you gain confidence, you can move onto real trading with your cryptocurrencies and start building your portfolio.

Nope, you'll never find it easy and simple to understand, in fact, not all traders are experts about chart reading. What makes this important? Because knowing about the chart is a helping tool to enhance our chances to win the battle.

https://www.investors.com/how-to-invest/stock-chart-reading-for-beginners/ we can also apply this to crypto trading and could be more effective if we seriously do it. That is why trading requires ample time to learn and it needs more experience to find what is the best strategy we have to use in different market situations.

If you want to start reading the charts then you have a huge lot of journey ahead. Reading and understanding the charts is not an easy task and you need to have a deep research about the chart you are reading. Also you should have the previous knowledge about the coin you are trading with because understanding the charts will need you long time.

Also, you need to understand the Technical Analysis before starting to understand the charts. You can apply few strategies to the charts before starting to understand them. There are a number of strategies which have made understanding the charts easier but yet, you need to make deep research on those strategies and also you need to study those before starting upon.

to read a trading chart, at least we must have a basic understanding, such as a variety of candles, various basic indicators, menu bar on the tradingview,
At least those three things must be understood,
if you understand, I'm sure you can read trading charts,
but you must know, reading trading charts is very different from analysis, and analysts need more understanding.

Well, I think it depends on what kind of trade you are doing just like for an example if you are unto with long-term trading then probably you set your time frame in week or month. While in day trade hourly time or minute time frame would be perfectly fit. Choosing a time frame will varies on what type of trading you are in. And yeah I think it is much better if you will look first at the largest time frame up to small ones so you could create an analysis on the the coin you are going to trade.

Reading charts is just easy and it doesn't need any tutorials to learn how to read from it. What is hard is to make your own FA and TA based on the chart because it does require more knowledge of the market whereas reading is just as simple as looking the results.

There's always a way if we really want to, and yes, there's a trading tutorials out there that we can use so there's no reason at all that we cannot learn trading unless we don't really want to do it, reading charts is important in trading but you cannot analyze well that easily in just short expand period of time, it needs a lot of experience before you will become familiarize with it.

Well, If you are beginner with trading. I would recommend you do start with "money management" learning and then you can start with reading "candlestick patterns".
Also for the basics you can read "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets book by John J. Murphy"
Wish you luck, but always remember to start with a demo account and don't burn your money for getting experienced.
You can do trades on demo accounts for 6 months at last and when you saw yourself getting good profits you can start by investing real money.

Yeah, it is all started with the basics and moves to another step. No one will succeed instantly and the sad thing is that it all accompanied by difficulties, losses and as well as being hopeless. Knowing how to read charts and candlestick is another skill. Not probably a must but if we would like to see the improvement of our trading journey and become more profitable it is better to acquire this thing.

Internet is our best friend and the things which even expert traders can't treat us can be learnt from the Internet. I myself, learnt each major aspect on the Internet itself and then started practicing it on my own to gain some experience. Trading and gaining experience made me learn some major aspects about the markets which even made me bear loss sometimes but I gained knowledge from the amount of loss I faced.

Internet is our best teacher. We could find a number of e-courses teaching trading and how to use strategies, oscillators, how to make our own technical analysis, etc which makes you one of the professional trader.

There's a ton of different ways you can interpret charts based on a few fundamental things or the indicators you're primarily using to make decisions; a very popular way of reading charts is to identify support and resistance levels and where and when they might potentially be breached (or not), which is something I like to do as well because it's a relatively simple concept to start with and you can expand from this in several different ways.

Some people also get very in-depth into candlestick patterns, though I mainly pay attention to the few major ones like hammers and evening stars or morning stars that I can spot at a glance and not less obscure patterns.

This might not be a must but basically there are a lot of other things which are a must before you could start trading which even involves a lot of basic knowledge. There are some major aspects which might give you profits but if you are unaware about those then you cannot find yourselves in profits.

Reading books is always good to increase our knowledge and also there are a number of useful books which can give you a ample of knowledge about how to trade and which things to consider before starting your trade to avoid facing loss. These things might seem basic but those are what will make you have profits in the markets.

I really understand trading charts after taking paid online courses, before this I just reviewed a lot of patterns on various websites and YouTube, but my analysis is still very rough and even not fully understood. The most important thing is to use the available indicators to determine the customized order, the basics of the pattern learned will be understood indirectly when your order is already running.
Joining whit paid online courses is good ideas how to learn whit trading and we got many knowledge by joining in their group, but we have work hard for learning whit online courses because we start with beginner and there have many expert start whit higher level without giving basic how to start trading way, maybe some one will recommendation which one most trusted for online courses for bitcoin trading.
While I am not against the idea of paying for your education I really believe that those courses are overrated, you can learn the same information in a faster way by just reading a few books and you will learn a lot more from those books than what you could learn from those online courses, besides at the beginning of your trading career you are not going to have a lot of money to spare and it is always a better idea to try to find free resources than to pay for them.

you were both right. Yet, candlesticks are tough thing to read if you were just a beginner. One way to be atleast a good thing to begin with is to study the market itself, your chosen market to trade, in whatever the currency you want. Read news and predictions, have patience to study how your chosen market works, together with some brief history. Then watch youtube for other analyzing tips.

If you're a total beginner then would advise you to visit one of on-line crypto educational programs, there are many. Crypto School or Newscrypto.io are good examples for starting points.

On my experience I never been guided by these websites that offers knowledge about trading, what I did was a warzone in which I learned from my own. With respect to trading charts I never valued to analyze it for further reference, because those days was having good times in trading. You're going to gain in just a minute, due to active market on different coins.

It is still a wise and safer choice to undergo learning through videos, articles or depending on a website to teach you about the basics of trading. Trading is a lot of fun and it comes with a lot of challenges and you should not underestimate it and just strictly go to the trading platform because the market will punish you hard. Learn to humble yourself and learn the basics first.

I think the best way to read the chart is to try to read the charts well first and learn different trading videos. You can read the charts on the basis of technical analysis and various protocols.

Try studying candle stick first what's the meaning of the read ups and downs the color of the candle stick as well as the line (shadows) of the candle stick after that study the indicators and what's the use of this and how would it help you to analyze the market or the chart and after that try studying lines such as trend lines.

Well you can take a look at free courses online about trading you can also enroll to forex trading since both crypto and forex have the same concept on reading the charts you can take a look online for free courses or you can also enroll to some trading class.

All the techniques are just guide the trading statistics, so If we see any videos we will never understand the complete techniques. We must invest small scale and active in all the day, because beginners must take patients and prepare the step by step investment. Trading charts are designed by experienced peoples, before we must understand how we pick the security platform.

Just take note of the trend. The high and low of prices in a given time or period. The chart is just a monitoring or comparison to guide you. But make sure its a reliable chart. It is helpful to make charts as your reference for your decision and it gives you ideas to formulate your strategies when to buy or sell.

Yes, we just need to go through google and search and read the Japanese candlestick chart, we can find the methods to read the chart of the market and altcoin very easily, we can even see the same instructions as you mentioned on the free courses, which lead us to become a trader in the forex market and in the crypto market. However, reading the chart is not a factor that can confirm a trend of altcoin, this chart only gives an overview of the situation and what is happening in the market, it does not tell us in the future.

Reading and understanding charts seemed impossible for me when I initially started at the phase but as soon as I got to learn majority of things, I found it easier for me to understand the graphs and patterns. It usually takes a hell lot of research, Immense knowledge and the will to denote majority of your time in learning at the initial phase.

There are some books which can make it easier for you to understand the charts and patterns but those books would have hundreds and thousands of pages which you have to go though. Understanding the trend is also an important phenomenon before just learning analyzing the candle sticks. Candle sticks are usually something much basic and they could not really make you understand the charts much deeply. You have to learn some more strategies and pattern which would make it easier to understand the graphs.

Most easier one for me is the bollinger bands and RSI. Combining these both with the volume makes it easier for me to identify the trend and also the understand the patterns. You could initially learn these strategies to get yourself started with the trading patterns and charts. It would make you gain more interest and you would come to know about a lot new strategies and patterns after this. Try to analyze the patterns on tradingview for better and convenient way.

The best way to learn chart reading is to learn the basic technical aspects of chart. Support and resistance then next is ti learn the trend line then making a chart patterns that will help you spot even more the breakouts and the possible trades that can make you money.

Try to learn in some online courses offering trading masteral, even in YouTube there are some lecturer. It's too broad to discuss here, but by watching videos or enrolling you will understand the indicators, those candlesticks and lot more. It is needed to have knowledge in graph to trade well.

I would recommend these tips when it comes from basic to basics when reading up patters.
You would also need on familiarizing all sort of indicators for you to understand every time on staring on charts.
This would takes time and wont really be learn overnight but at least learning everything gradually and slowly.
Technicals wont be precise though on predicting prices but its much more better rather than nothing.

Get a proper book. A single source of information that will set you in some mindframe that you will fully understand and could navigate thru. Then you can decide if this is trading/thinking style that suits you or not. Only then get another book/author/blogger and learn his way. With experience you can start reading basically anything and incorporate interesting stuff into your repertoire of trading. What I mean is, if you read too much different stuff, from different strategies and try to mix it up and pick out what you 'feel' from each of this, it will eventually end up badly as you will lose any idea of what you are doing and why. Learn a bit, get experience on that, learn more, get more experience etc. Don't dive in and suck up on anything you can find as you will get brain washed.

For a person like me, the information provided is already a big science, as I am just starting to study trading, but I only learn thanks to the YouTube video.  And almost no one focuses on the correct reading of charts, although this is very important for analysis and for obtaining a complete result.  In addition, it is difficult to find a resource where everything is correctly and clearly explained to the beginner.

Today, as always, such information should primarily interest beginners, because professionals have long learned to read the entire cryptocurrency market and the schedule of each cryptocurrency separately.  The fact is that it’s not enough for success to know the real price of cryptocurrency during this period, because only thanks to the information provided by reading the chart can you determine the moments for a la profitable deals.  To get started, you can study three special types of charts: a basic chart called a line chart, a bar chart and a chart called "Japanese candles."
Nevertheless, it is not enough for each trader to analyze prices thanks to charts, because in order to achieve real results from trading, you need to learn to understand other factors of the trading process, which consist of factors that affect price changes.  It seems to me that the most important thing for forecasting a rise or fall is to know the reasons for the changes in the cryptocurrency market.

After all of this learning, don't forget to actually test out what you learn as well, sometimes not everything you learn will work, and depending on the market not everything will come out true.

Like there is always charts and topics here about how "this hasn't happened since 2017 December!!, price will go up!!" and nothing happens, just because there has been some bull run recently, never forget the bear runs as well. I remember very very clearly in November 2018 everyone was expecting a big bull run, all charts and every indicator imaginable was showing bitcoin going up, price was around 6.5k and people were guessing 10k-15k levels because everything looked so perfect. What happened? BCH wars happened and price went down to 3k, so always be ready for the worst possible outcome at all times.

So it might never be an easy task, but if you have the guts to work harder, than no one can stop you from being a success ahead.
If you want to earn money then you need to go through those thousands of pages because if you are not doing it you can be sure that someone else is and he is going to beat you in the markets, I understand the desire to make money without making a lot of effort but trading is not really the market for that, if you want to be a successful trader then you need to be smarter and have better skills than the majority of the traders and that is not an easy thing to do.

If you want to have a skill where you can able to read a chart then your focus is should interpreting and reading candlestick first. Candlestick is what we see in the chart and it represents the price of a coin or stock. There are 2 parts of the candle stick. The first one is the body where it is the solid part and the second part is the tail where it can be a upper wick or lower wick. You should always remember the 4 important points in a candlestick and it is the open, high, close and low. If you understand how to read candlestick then you have now foundation to understand the whole chart.

These two will help for for the patterns:
https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php?id=chart_analysis:chart_patterns
https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex/how-to-trade-chart-patterns

and here is for candlestick:
https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex/lone-rangers-single-candlestick-patterns
https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php?id=chart_analysis:candlestick_pattern_dictionary

Goodluck
I would recommend these tips when it comes from basic to basics when reading up patters.
You would also need on familiarizing all sort of indicators for you to understand every time on staring on charts.
This would takes time and wont really be learn overnight but at least learning everything gradually and slowly.
Technicals wont be precise though on predicting prices but its much more better rather than nothing.
Everything can really be read up online. All the tools needed can only be reached in tip of your fingertips. It'll just need a little effort on your side if you do really like to improve your trading skills.

Reading charts wont be simple if you dont know even the name of a single indicator but once you do able to identify it out then it would be no hard for you to make some analysis.

Each analysis will vary on each individual because we do have different insights towards things.

The basic in trading science is indeed important, because mistakes when making lines draw to make visual aid of price movements. so when you already understand candlestick then in the growth of further knowledge it will be easier, because the help of tools currently in the market is good enough.

This doesnt only talks about reading indicators like candles but also some other figures like Depth Charts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtL1ncFPWns

I do find it so helpful because you can able to see the demand and supply and with this you can tell if its ideal to get in or not.Im not really that in candle pattern
because most of the time they do fail.

While it is true that everything is online at the same time a newbie is not going to be able to distinguish between good information and bad information and when it comes to making money in the markets I can assure you there is a lot of false information out there, you could be diligent and read a website and their strategies to make money and then put one of those strategies in practice only to discover too late that you never had any chance of making money due to the bad advice that you received.

This is helpful but itbcan be also be prone to fake demand and supply, candlestick is more realiable for me if we know the exact possible end of a trend like support and the resistance that may validate any candlestick pattern in that way the chances of a right trade is more high combine with the supply and demand.

I am not good with it, to be honest, but I can suggest you this site.

https://www.tradeciety.com/the-basics-of-chart-reading/ (https://www.tradeciety.com/the-basics-of-chart-reading/)

I asked my friend about the candles they are talking about in the past since I am so left out when they talk about the price charts in the past. At that time we usually hang out and they would have this conversation where they would talk about the movements at the chart and they have this name for that. They just laughed at me and suggested this site to read for a start. I have some photos of the patterns of the candlestick chart, the same as Renko charts and point and figure charts.

It is important to learn as much as we can about that subject, even if you do not want to be a trader and you are an investor you can still use the charts to know the overall direction of the market and know if you are going to obtain profits or if you are going to face some difficult months and you will need to prepare yourself mentally for that, so even if you are an investor you can easily see that you can get  some important benefits from learning this subject.

Able to read chart is one of the most important skill in trading because you will never know the price without reading it. I'm self taught trader which means I do not have mentor, I just finding information all of the internet. Most of the charts are consist of candle stick to easily interpret the part. Reading candlestick will be tricky at first but you can able to understand over time. It have 4 parts which is the open, close, high and low. If we have skill to read charts then we can form decisions that will can benefit us.

You start learning just one indicator that is mostly used by traders like the RSI which will give you signs of when to sell and when to buy. Traders will have to use another indicator along side with RSI but its up to you which one you will be using. Some will use MACD. If you are using free tradingview you are limited to 3 indicators and so you must pick the right ones that you knew how to use.

@OP, while everyone has given their own piece of advice of resouces and materials you can use to learn how to read charts, I would like to say a thing or two about practicing everything you learn from these materials. With consistent practice, you will get better with the tools in your tool books and hopefully your trading profits will be consistent as well. Yet another important concept in trading aside from the ability to read charts and do technical analysis, you should be able to evaluate price action. You can learn about it too.

Ain't so hard to read charts either and I think that everyone could be able to read if they want too. But the question is, does it is very important to learn this in order to have a good trading journey? It probably not really important cause this trend today will always not be the same in the future. Coz if you rely on this, not for sure if it will works on you all the time. Because the most important thing in crypto trading is to have that kind of flexibility and could adopt the market quickly.

How do you read charts because i am still exploring and i don't know how read a charts anybody can help me with this? What is the best way to learn reading charts in an easiest way.
There are a lot of different types of charts are available and there are methods to recognize the patterns in those charts. I have developed the skill of recognizing patterns in charts by learning from books. If I remember correctly, last time I checked that lot of the videos are available on youtube to explain you how to learn the skill of recognizing patterns in trading charts. You may start from them.

I am familiar with candle stick pattern recognizing and line chart patterns too. It would be highly recommended to start with candle stick pattern recognizing as it would be easier to understand how markets is being recorded as a chart.

Charts came from present and history data, to read it need knowledge. I suggest you to get teacher/ friend to help you because if depend read and watch video you will translate with your own language that's wrong. Reading chart is not easy, need professional to help you with it. It will not wasting time and money because you get from the expert, don't try read by your self.

I would say youtube is definitely the best teacher, you may like it or you may hate it but seeing something with your own eyes and repeating the same task yourself is a great teacher. You can stop or rewind youtube videos as much as you want as well so all you have to do is start the video, do exactly what they are showing on the video, make sure you are doing it right, if you need time stop the video do what you need to do and start it back up, if you miss anything just rewind and watch it again.

When you have that option in your hands that means you can learn basically anything if you give enough time, of course it won't be in 10 minutes but you can literally learn anything from youtube if you give enough practice and time towards that thing and not just how to read charts, anything in life like guitar playing or whatever.

Reading charts or technical analysis is a way to get profit in the world of trading, but learning technical analysis is not easy, You need several months or even years so that you can truly master the science of technical analysis. Yes right, it's better to find a teacher than to study on your own.

The best way is to have a companion or friend who understands trading in making technical analysis, because with you have a companion you will be quicker to understand it because at least you will learn theory and practice faster. There are many articles and even various tutorials that you can get on the internet if you don't have a trader friend like that, and also when you keep watching the charts then at least slowly you will surely understand the best time to sell and buy, if you have a big desire to be successful, learning patiently is the way you can do it, because achieving success requires a long process.

How fortunate those who have friends who knows technical analysis and willing to teach their skills and strategies.
Sadly now a days there are no free access , normally people charge  but it is not wrong sometimes you really need to invest to gain such knowledge

Yes, for those who are new to reading charts, I would definitely suggest youtube over books, of course how you can learn something IS affected by how you learn as well, some people learn better by writing, some by doing, some by reading, some by listening and so forth but the youtube video ones are a lot better because they literally SHOW you how it works and that is much better than trying to figure out how to do it yourself.

I can't offer you any examples because I used videos on my language but I am sure you can find plenty in English and probably some in your own language as well. Make sure you find multiple ones and compare them to each other as well since most of them are usually different from each other and you can find differences between them.

Reading charts is easy it's just ups and downs I think you should change your question to "How to analyze trading charts. Reading is easy it's just a matter of close, open, high, low but analyzing is all about theory, luck, experience and many more.

I think you should start with a simulation trade and learn how to trade and analyze the market before jumping on it,

Good question buddy. As a trader, i would like to shared my experienced on how I difficult for me to determined and read the trading charts. When I'm newbie in trading it is difficult for me to ready the charts, but the first thing I did is to watch at YouTube videos on how to read and predict the trading charts. And I think the knowledge that I gathered is not enough so that I also ask with my mentor to fully understand the trading charts, after that all my effort paid off now. But if you don't have any mentor that will teach you a trading chart you can read/visit this link https://www.tradingview.com/ (https://www.tradingview.com/) it really suits for you, because it's detailed sites that may help you to fully know how to read trading chart. Good luck.

Trading is not a chocolate that you just open it and eat. If you really want to learn a reading chart you will need to learn the first candlestick patterns,
price action, support resistance, supply demand, and trend analysis. There are many free YouTube videos for learning basic Lessons,
watch more videos and practice yourself. More practice make you a more perfect trader.
