Well I have seen how many lottery sites do make up some twist giving out its players a new way on earning but still have the same concept which do end up on getting no players at all in the end.Not to be salty but I would like to say Good luck to your site.

Agree, lottery game is not really popular in this crypto gambling industry. That's why many crypto lottery sites are failed to get active players. Indeed there are some sites that are able to gain enough players every round but it wont be easy for a new site unless there is a big attractive offer for players.

This address has about 1037 eth as reflected on the prize. Seems they really have the funds for the lottery winner.

By now we should get it that they are referring to Satoshi and making this game after his creation. Don't you think?

I am not sure what is the value of LTS here and why you want your user to invest using LTS?

This is actually what I want to know about them when I asked to view the ETH address for the grand prize since we can easily pin point ETH address with that amount on ETH Explorer.
They have investment for there casino and the price per shares is a bit high for a startup lottery. Maybe a sign message using that ETH address will make the investors and users more comfortable
to use the website.

Don't believe that information is just an ordinary token named .SCAM-ALERT. We don't need to refer to that information because we don't know who owns the token and whether it should be trusted. Yes so far we make it responsive, UX will be tweaked further down the road.

There’s too much complications going on iOS and Android, so far we’ll focus on improving the web experience on various devices.

They probably should consider the mobile app too. The site works a bit fine for me though. Just that it doesn't work without enabling browser Javascript or using more advanced mobile browser.

Since this just started last month, it's okay to start in web since it's easier and not limited to the interested users. everyone has a phone browser so everyone can access their playing site.. unlike if it's an app.

There really is no room for manipulations, the key is no one can move the ETH inside the prize pool and no one can predict the end result for it being truly random, we have an interesting way of solving randomness if you’re interested in looking into it.

Indeed we hope more users can participate, we had a wave of players from a couple other forums previously, we hope to duplicate the success here as well.

Last time I check lotto is probably the least way to earn money. Since the chance of winning and the amount of winnings is proportional to the number of participants, given the probability of every lotto out there, how is this different? Unless there are modes on winning; lesser price pool but a higher chance of winning that is.

Since you're verbose in their service (assuming), allow me to ask you something. How is your experience with it, is there no known issue (I don't know, baked RNG?) or anything that could mess up a user's experience? Can you at least list some known complaints?

Its obvious that this kind of style is what they do tend to mimic or copy.If you do browse in the site you will be greeted with the line

So it wont be surprising if they would use up btc wp to copy its format and theres nothing wrong as long they dont copy something similar

I guess it is one thing to engender decentralization in a lottery and quite another to use a pseudonym in a business whitepaper. This is not an anonymous coin you are making. You are operating a lottery, a gambling site which should be duly registered with complete real names of the development team, and with a mechanism to prove the fairness of the draws.

I am only reading everyone's post about this about that but I never read anyone telling their experience in the lottery site. Did anyone played already in that site?. I don't have any questions about the site's design since it's created nicely and looks professional. When you log in do players really need to download an app?.

Adding up more games would require more resources and it will depend if they do still have the funds to go on or would just wait for their lottery game to be successful

Anonymity is indeed the better option. But that is not going to be absolute. For players, anonymity is much preferable but that won't be the case I guess when it comes to a development team of a crypto gambling project and site. Anonymity in this case probably means lack of accountability.

Satoshi was anonymous. But that seems to be an exception to the rule nowadays. New crypto projects with a team made up of pseudonyms where they could not be scrutinized in terms of their individual reputation, qualifications, experiences, expertise, and so forth might not sell anymore.

Exactly! Just like IRL, companies that are involved in lottery have to have a permit to operate (well, you don't really need it here) and identity for legal reasons, as well as if it's genuine. But let's be honest, here, even if they do provide such information they still get away with it, easily.

We definitely do need people to get used to buying tickets for example, every week or every other day, the promotional programs would definitely help, another thing on our mind is because crypto should be anonymous, but that way it’s hard to place triggers in people’s lives to get them to come back.

Of course not, he is just using the same code name Nakamoto. That's why using Lottoshi as his first name. Is that obvious here? And at least they are not being hypocrite here, using bitcoin's whitepaper as their reference and is truly used by many projects.

After finally trying this, I can only say that the hard part for me was creating a wallet in MetaMask. They are using MetaMask as your wallet so you can fund your game and/or investment.

You have to download a browser extension of MetaMask first so whenever you want to play/invest, MetaMask will pop up to connect your wallet to Lottoshi website and get a fund (ETH).

Everything else is fast and easy.

Unfortunately Metamask is not under our control, but if we find easier wallets to use we’ll definitely share with the community here, thanks again for the feedback.

It's not easy to create an attractive or pleasing project for everyone especially if most of the potential participants won't feel they have a high chance of winning something. Easy small wins are usually more "attractive" than few big wins so Lottoshi is still in the middle of this. Maybe some promotional, giveaways, bounty activities that will help draw attention to the community can be considered.

this is not hard at all. u just need to try it yourself and spend the minimum to bid/stake/invest. treat this like how you treat other projects. invest and wait if it'll moon.. lol

We definitely will, but contrary to common belief, lotteries is not about one big winners, everyone have a 10%+ chance of winning something (yes we’ve don’t the calculations,) which we consider to be higher than many crypto or traditional games out there, also with unmatched simplicity.

I think developers can prove they have those qualifications without revealing their identities.
OP will probably need to build a more decentralized platform(if he/she hasn't done so already) to handle most of the important safety concerns you raised.

This is the simplest most useful reply here imo. For someone curious, a plain and simple comment like this one  helps a lot.

Investments will be different transactions if done at different times, dividends will be in a smart contract until you trigger the transaction.

These have huge differences from each other. All same lottery games but different ways of playing. Lottoshi is like the easiest among all. Try then compare..

This is not the 1st attempt of crypto lottery and I'm always impressed how brave these projects are considering there is not enough market on this. I don't know how the team has researched about the success/failure of crypto lotteries/gamblings but well you won't know until you try. All I can say here is good luck. I think Lottoshi has a potential.

lottoshi is doing 101% anonymity like how satoshi started bitcoin. i dont think it works today. to measure trust now is to show your team is powerful. but where's the team? projects like this can instantly shut down a website after getting hundreds of eth.. What do you think?
