If you see, the price of Altcoin went up very high in early 2018 and then the price of Altcoin fluctuated in 2019.
Now in 2020, people are expecting the price of Altcoin to go up. If the price of Altcoin goes too high then it will be very difficult to buy.
 Some people say that cryptocurrency is a digital currency, we cannot calculate its value because we cannot accurately estimate the value of cryptocurrency / Altcoin. We can say that when people give bad news about cryptocurrency, people get upset that they sell their currency.

Look at the market now being average to green because a good move or it could be bullish has come, but there are some altcoins that have decreased there are also altcoins that are going up with high prices so this could be the beginning for an increase in altcoin in 2020.
For me it is not too late to buy even though the price has gone up but this is not final yet because halving is not over so there is still a possibility to get back up with a higher price.

not really, not even many people are following the trend on bad or good news about bitcoin and other altcoins, some of them use TA to analyze prices, see what's on the market today and coinmarketcap seems to be rising prices almost all altcoin averages also increase including bitcoin, it looks like the market is really recovering again, but don't have to expect much it will be good this year because there is still next year where there are likely many people who are waiting for that too when all the crypto markets are heading for a new ATH, if you don't want to buy it when the price is high you still have a chance to buy it now but you need to bear the risk yourself

most people dont expect the price of altcoins to go up this year, everyone's eye is fixed on bitcoin but I have always expected surprises in cryptocurrency, it is not meant to be totally predictable. I expect some new idea in the project, those altcoins in the rally are not new coins and are doing very well against bitcoin itself. The volatility makes us unable to calculate the future value as this based on the prediction and it's not having 100% accuracy. It's wrong if altcoin will be very difficult to buy because some trusted coins are still not so expensive. this time the fundamental support of crypto is very strong and there was a lot of bad news last months but the price of crypto still remains stable. I guess the trend is not depending a lot to the news.
The news just brings more support to the trend that is still happening right now. This is a fact.
Remember in the last month and some countries were releasing bad news about bitcoin and altcoin but there were no impacts until right now.

we don't know for sure how high the price of altcoin will be in the future, whether it's the same as in 2017/2018, or like 2019. However, this is only speculation. people liken this situation to 2016. if the price of altcoin becomes higher, it will be very difficult to buy it, therefore many people are speculating that altcoin will have a high price going forward and advise people to buy it now. but those are just a few altcoins.

I think the reason for this little positive move for altcoins is simply because bitcoin has retained some strength since beginning of this year and as expected, it is gradually having some push effect on the altcoin market. Bitcoin price is related to what will happen in the altcoin market too.

There's the only one reason for sure why altcoin goes up, just because of the Bitcoin movement. I am very sure altcoin will be heading for its best price in 2020 because bitcoin is in good times. Because what I know is altcoin won't go up in price before bitcoin goes up. Hopefully.

It won't be difficult to buy if the price keeps on moving up. You know why? because people are expecting to see more of its increase and that's why everyone will keep on buying because they are on FOMO. That's how the crowd reacts and maybe more of them are just waiting for that signal because they don't buy the dip as it's almost no movement that they can get profits with. I think the decision taken depends on each person, indeed there are some people who decide to sell their coins when they see bad news about the coins they hold and they are afraid if the price actually decreases later so they decide to sell it. And for this year we certainly expect that the price of altcoin can increase and provide benefits for all of us so that before the price of altcoin increases we must prepare our steps for the next.

Currently everyone is thinking about the new altcoin season this year but I sure it will not happen now because the current market is still very volatile. I think this is the time you should consider choosing carefully because you are not always fortunate to make a good profit. After what I experienced in 2017 - 2018, the rise of altcoin and fall of altcoins after 2018-2019.
I remember those days when the Bitcoin Dominance dropped and a boom lot of altcoins are pumping, most are shitcoins, especially on the ICO fever around 2017- 2018. But everyone has a limit and comes to an end.

After those experiences, I am not expecting again those kinds of pumping (Bitcoin value) on altcoins on this year 2020, especially now, look at the Bitcoin Dominance, no sign of reversal, most of the altcoins are dumped in Bitcoin value.
I am now relieved after I converted all my altcoins to Bitcoin for almost a year now.

   With this rise and green prices many believes that alt-coin season already started. I think this is just a good beginning of the year,
nice start, but we will have to wait longer for an real alt-coin season where prices will rise much more.

I don’t think that in 2020 prices for altcoins will be so high that it will be impossible to buy them. there is a chance that in 2020 we will see previous ATHs that were already saw in 2017, but even in this, I believe very little. Yeah first quarter of the year is always a good market condition it's looks like it will be the year of cryptocurrency but i think the final result will be in quarter 3, it always be a critical condition for cryptocurrency wether it will pump or not

Indeed, i was slightly shock when i see the price movements of altcoins compare to last quarter's price movement because it is increasing as we go through January 2020 and i was expecting this to happen this mid year but it is increasing early this January 2020 and this gives me more confidence that altcoins will reach higher prices as we go through this year so altcoins will be really good this year.

I think there is a big possibility this year the price of altcoin is back up. but maybe the movement is a little slower than the previous year. if we refer to altcoin movements on the crypto market, altcoin price movements are not that big. Altcoins pumped durning 2017 November to January 2018. After that crypto dumped.Till now altcoins trying to recover.But no one can make exact predict.Crypto members hoping that in 2020 we will see the bull run and altcoins will pump.but no one can confirm you that It's true.               

Before altcoin price goes to a high price, you need to buy from now on so you will not be too late to buy. You will not have a chance to buy at a low price if the price start increase and you can buy at the range of price, and you might not see the lower price again unless there is a big dump for tat coin. The altcoin has a chance to increase, and that will happen too with bitcoin, so there is nothing we can do now except prepare for that time so we can sell at a high price.

I have forget with bad last two year between 2018 and 2019 where many time I have hold my assets altcoin because price back down, I have many top altcoin keep holding like ethereum and bitcoin cash because price down and I am waiting for new year could give much profit and all my altcoin take recovery back with higher price.

I think investing in altcoins for a long term investment is not really a good idea at this year since most of the time, in my opinion, a lot of altcoins in the market is ending up to be end for several months most of the time there is also no trading transactions of volume of the altcoins. But still, a lot of popular altcoins in the market still have potential that you could hold for long term I think in this year if you hold XRP, ETH for long term investment I think this could easily be a profit for most of the people. Besides that, the other altcoins are junk in my opinion.

I observed that some top altcoins are doing really great, today my ETC holding made me smile. I sold some ETH at 160$ and the next moment it's 170$, it shows there is hope for altcoins. I hope 2020 will be filled with good news since truly bad news can easily cause a market downtrend for crypto.

Bad news about cryptoqurrency cannot be stopped and will probably continue. it is important for anyone to keep thinking optimistically and not to despair seeing market situations that have not fully improved. I personally think optimistically that the rising price of BTC can slowly affect other altcoin price increases as well.

Yes, everyone thinks the prices will be better this year and halving is likely to have the expected effect.  Its impact on prices is already appearing nowadays.  We can even see this as a start, wait for a much larger increase in prices in the coming months. Like for example if Ethereum goes to 400 dollars now, or even 600-700 that is not bad, everyone would be very happy about it and we will consider it a good bull year right? Price in the long run are to be seen in the monthly charts, this is where the candle sticks in the the charts are just too few where each of it represents a month.  monthly charts is where you find out whether the market can really be gown for a long period of time and its where you can also tell whether the bulls are staying for a long time. Hmmm indirectly it all returns to bitcoin price movements, when halving we can only expect that BTC will actually go up to see all altcoins also go up. But everything can happen later, if it is not in line with expectations then there is no altcoin like 2017 then, but hopefully it is in line with our expectations because altcoin has been in a slump in the past two years ..

2019 wasn't the best season for altcoins but I believe that the market would still go better this time. The market situation is now getting better and it's an advantage because it will be another opportunity for most holders to have hopes of gaining a good profit in the future. I mean, we've had a good prices of altcoins just the last few days ago thanks to bitcoin's rally. But now, we're on the very red zones. I hope the falling prices will stop sooner tho. It was just an optimism. The coming event meant a lot to us and to the crypto market, but the question is if it is enough to push the market into the level? Its something to be unknown in fact that this is just Bitcoin halving which I believe that we could see a huge impact for Bitcoin alone, not for the entire market. This year is just only a hope and not seeing 100% assurance for the bullish result.

High price in altcoin, usually not high as bitcoin do. So, although it is high usually still can be reached. Altcoin's peak in my mind usually stop to move because people think the price wouldn't increased anymore and not because that price is can't be bought anymore.

Libra is just an idea and with all the regulatory pressure if they are able to make it to the release then it would be a huge surprise. It is highly unlikely we will be seeing them overcoming all these pressure and releasing Libra and if they are able to release a stable currency then i am expecting more companies will be lining up to come up with their coin. With the alt market it all depends upon how bitcoin market will perform.

I really don't think 2020 will be any better than 2019 was. Maybe some rally, maybe a little bit of optimism but besides of BTC halving there is nothing on the horizon that would bring the end of bear momentum. 2017 and 2018 were really the time of ETH and ICOs which bumped cryptos back to the attention but there is literally nothing new right now going on. This is seasonal fun for people and retail players just goof around until they go broke so there has to be entertainment in this 'investment'. Kickstarterish idea was good and brought a lot of hype but we need moooooore new stuff that could bring people attention for a new alt season to happen.

May halving could give a market twist but couldn't think that all Altcoins will also be able to skyrocket this time.

I'm personally very positive about the price of altcoin this year. We've heard that some events would happen this year which has the potential of spearheading an increase in the value of cryptocurrencies generally. We heard of the ethereum 2.0 project and also the bitcoin halving event which takes place every four years.
