Azbit such a crap project, they keep locking the bounty token for years, about 5-6 months ago, they said bounty token will be unlocked on 5 February 2020, now they extended it to May 1st! Look at TOKOIN, another busted team they have, before, they said within four months they will distribute all the tokens, but now they decided to distribute token throughout the whole 2020 year! Seriously?

This is not the end, look at Digitalbits, their bounty ended in may 2019, and still, they did not distribute where they promised to distribute within January to March 2020, but no single update set yet!


Hunters! Be an avenger now, let's work together to ruin these projects. We won't tolerate scammer in crypto anyhow. We can promote them to get success and we the hunters can ruin them too. What do you say now? Please leave your comments!

I've never been a bounty hunter, but I know exactly where you're coming from. I do somewhat agree with holding teams accountable for their promises; this issue isn't just a bounty hunter problem either.

There exists teams who lay out their road-maps, promising particular things, but fail to deliver. Often associated as scams, but there is no one holding these types of teams accountable.



In reality, nothing will ever change. Your best bet is to label a thread addressing concerns for a specific coin (title the thread with that name, so it's directly related to said project (means, make a new thread with whatever coin you have fault with)), basically flagging that team's misappropriate actions, do not label it as scam or make "scam" vocal, because it will be removed from this altcoin section and posted to scam accusations. You will have a lot of responses from other disgruntled hunters and eventually the team will notice the thread.

There's nothing worse for a new project, then being labeled with non-honest, red-flag and disgruntled community comments; it's very impactful if you can keep up the momentum (thread on this 1st page). Use caution with your words, it will either go unnoticed (if you don't promote it in the threads) or it can blow up pretty largely.



Most of the time, making a loud enough noise is not worth anyone's time, so most will just take it for what it is and nothing more.

I wish I have some merits to give you mate. Today's bounty hunters makes me very sick. No discernment, wisdom and dignity. All they do is fill forms and do POAs. Even on threads with proven scam tags, red flags and abysmally low rewards and lock up periods. They are the reason why majority of developers treat them as dogs.

since becoming a bounty hunter, so many heartbreaking stories, even some bounties are blamed for falling prices, and sometimes the work we do is not appreciated. however, what we can do, we cannot identify a project while the project is still developing, and promise to distribute the tokens they promised.
however, we can see how professionally a project develops and runs according to the words they make. if they really don't act according to what they say, even to the point of deceiving the bounty hunter, little by little, the project will lose its trust. in fact, some bounty hunters also participate and invest in projects they support.

It is your responsibility to choose the right bounty, when you know it is a scam project, why work on that project? Just for sake of good promised money 😀😀

Couldn't agree more, some hunters have thrown out all self worth just for a few penny, especially when the project and team are shady as well and very glaring for all to see, hunters are treated like shit and many don't care, rather they will just move to the next available project without asking questions,
The truth is, this is happening because hunters allow it, even if one person disagrees with rules of any project, many others are ready to join, so it's not such an easy thing to address.

You're talking very badly about bounty campaigns. I have been participating in a lot of bounty campaigns since June 2019 and until now the team has remained silent. Auditchain used to promise a lot and now after finishing IEO, they have locked chat on telegram. a bunch of projects are cheating and we can't do anything but complain like this. perhaps as we should get rid of this work, the bounty campaign will die and no one will promote new projects anymore. At some point, they will regret being treated us badly.

whatever azbit is related to bounty has different policies, you should not post to trigger the anger of the bounty hunters as far as I know the bounty hunter is committed to new projects being supported and projects that are always full of promises they ignore, here is not democracy and don't become a profocator

Bounty hunters usually is on lose side, when in rules they said they can change any rules or maybe make decision. That is why we people can't do anything with it. And it is hurt actually when us work and then the coins is not have value or maybe payment is delayed and anything bad that happen to us. But nothing that we can do except if they are proven not pay us we can say it is scam project and it will affect on their investors.

Still lucky I have joined before with so much success with bounties although I also have some bad experiences.

We could just report them and take them out of this forum.
We could also use social medias but we need popular names to make it work.

Yapp, all the decisions and risks are in the hands of the person himself. Where when you want to invest in a new project, don't be too rushed in making a decision and also don't be easy to believe what he says because we know that many developers only give sweet promises to benefit themselves and this is still just can make many people fall into the trap, we really need to see how the team, the product and also for now the real use case is an important thing to consider.

That's why we need to get united. So that we can spread the reality about those projects, and then team fear us and distribute our due! Auditchain looks won't come back, but we can do things against a successful project which deceive our payment. For example Envion, Tokenpay and my mentioned three! Lots of bounty hunters don't use their brain, they just keep doing POA, works even they receive red tags! We need to teach them. Maybe all active bounty hunter needs to join in a single group to do good for potential projects and to do bad for the shady, suspicious dishonest project!

maybe it would be better if handled intellectually, so you should have a study of the arguments that are issued. if they do setbacks they must have a reason and to that extent they can still be free in accusations. maybe the solution so far would be better to put pressure on the developer, especially to speed up the locking of the tokens you have.

yes i also struggle alot from bounty when they provide us token or coin the price gets sudden dump which does not value at all and some project are came to increase thier social profile that's it and gone i hate that kinda project. 

I like the spirit you have there to fight and ruin those projects. Sad fact is even you and other hunters create fud for that project they will only resort to delaying it much especially if the price go down further. Maybe chances are they will not totally paid those remaining payment they will or should pay.

I know the feeling of this cause I also experienced it. But the norm still the same. Nothing, projects wouldn't listen to hunter's complain.

Did you read my thread correctly? Do you have any idea about DigitalBits, Azbit or Tokoin project? It seems you don't. So, please search on google and then tell me about my research. All these three projects are successful enough, they are trading on markets, everything they have is positive but they just playing with the hunters. So, please stick on my point, I am talking about bounty hunters need to be work together for dishonest projects.

I think not all bounty managers don't listen to complaints from bounty campaign participants because I see that there are still many bounty managers who care about the participants but for the payment it all depends on who has the project so that the bounty manager can only do the tasks he manages.

There were suggestions in the past that to only accept BTC from the teams who wants to promote IEO. Asking the BTC to escrow the funds, will not just keep them accountable but also push them to complete the project and launch product as well and ultimately add to the exchanges. Not doing all these will just disappoint investors and bounty hunters too. If united, we can make them do things that we are not able to do before it.

Azbit is suspecious project, CEO was involved scammed exchange Bitsane.com, definitely this is fraudulent team behind the scene. Tokoin paid 50% tokens in two months and last month announced another 50% tokens will pay in 12 months. Azbit is bullshit in that case, 2nd time changing bounty unlock deadline what a hippocrate. Team is proof very dishonesty.                

I have participated in scam projects before and I admit that it's really frustrating to spend too much effort and time and still gain nothing in the end. Bounty hunters deserve better because we are imparting our knowledge and manpower to contribute to the success of every project. However, it's still for us to choose the right campaign. We should get rid of suspicious bounties so we'll never regret anything in the end.

I got your point mate. You are absolutely right, Bounty hunters need to be united to avoid this condition, there should be a group or website to get united for bounty hunters. I have no problem with the shit projects but when a successful project start playing with the hunters that's mean they don't respect hunters anymore. Look at the temtum, they paid all the eligible participants at the same time, no lock-up period and the token price still great even higher than before. I just wondered how Tokoin could this! Tokoin was one of the top ROI projects in 2019 but still, they are playing the shit game with the hunters! Azbit had many scam accusations before, I have no talks about that shit project but Digitalbits can't deceive its hunters, I hope they will pay you!

I think the problem is on the project. If we do revolution that we want at the end we are the one who loss not them because all we know that in this industry all we do about business are risky. They are paying bounty hunters to promote their project and as a bounty hunter we need to take risk and choose well the project that we will promote to avoid scam.

That's the risk to joining new projects bounty right now, nothing they can guarantee except we join bounty paid with BTC, we could get the salary based on our performance. So i think joining the proejct bounty is just like gambling, when the project is success in the market we reach but when it fails we loss.

You should tell those people who keeps on joining bounty campaign that offers good deal which will turn out to be a scam at the end. I think it's up to the user to research first the project before joining to make sure it will worth the effort. Some users are even dumb to join an obviously scam project and just spam all over the forum.

I highly believe in this kind of idea, of bounty hunter involving to a revolt, in order to make a straight system of bounties. I see, how effective marketing is, just the same if bounty hunters will do the same thing to promote the project in an opposite way. But the problem here is the lack of fuel to do this. Basically, we are working to promote them because we know we're getting paid, but if we are to revenge, no payment in the future is guaranteed that is why people just neglect the participation of them to this kind of activity.

what can we do to fight this ?? This is not the first thing to do, the fraud project has been going on for a long time, in fact it has already happened in 2017 when the ICO project was crowded there. even having a campaign manager with good credibility cannot guarantee that the project will pay us. maybe this is indeed a challenge for bounty hunters to be more thorough when promoting a project.

You have no other choice, every decision depends on the project so if they change the rules then we only know to accept it. In 2019 I met a lot of projects like you described, most of the bounty have been scam bounty hunters or delays very long compared to the initial time. I believe that with what they do, they will lose their reputation and no one will invest in their project in the future.

So we are just slaves as hunters who continue to work on promoting the project but do not get any reward from the work that is just nonsense that we know from the project.
Many such projects with false promises they will distribute but continue to postpone until unclear time.
Now if we unite to fight the fraud project then we must have cohesiveness and also to suppress the projects that do not want to pay the bounties.

No one wants to promote a scam project but the project itself scam people when they get enough money to spend in the next scam attempt! OP is not talking about scam bounties I assume, many successful projects is not paying its hunters, that's the sad part of bounty nowadays. I did the ICA bounty, but they locked the telegram chat, stop answering questions at all! So, it's not about the suspicious bounty, it's about good bounty who are playing with their hunters!
But the vision OP is asking for, I am afraid that won't happen! Because most of the bounty hunters illiterate enough to avoid the rules, even many hunters keep submitting POA or work report after distribution of bounty payment!

Which clearly means that it's their fault and they are the one to blame, they tend to trust and believe a project without even researching various of information and details regarding that specific project. It's the reason why they end up losing everything and feeling remorse because they choose to disregard doing their own exploration knowing that it can help them determine if a project is worth it and profitable. It's difficult to get rid of scam especially these days that scammers are being wiser, they will always look for an opportunity to deceive people who doesn't have enough knowledge on protecting and securing their funds. They will make them believe with their words and promises, however newbies just let themselves believe it without having an assurance that their investment will be beneficial. They never change their mindsets when it comes to money, they don't realize that scammers are capable on doing anything for the sake of money and if they made a mistake then it can have a huge impact on their investment. It's the reason why we need to be cautious because we can't easily guarantee if it's intention was good, we need to analyze every decision that we are making or else we will end up with nothing.

We cannot destroy their projects if they scam us. Since I joined bounty, I have met hundreds of similar projects, and with the current altcoin situation as bad as this one, surely this year we will see more projects becoming scam and we will waste more time. For now it is true that new projects will be difficult to develop because we know that many people have lost their trust to invest in new projects and also the number of projects that end in failure makes people reluctant to participate in new projects unless the project dares to make payments using btc or eth I think this will really support a project to develop and of course the developer needs enough funds to start developing a project.

to be honest its better to stop promoting any ICO than given your payment delay . Its your payment and its not given freely you do the work needed just to have that paymen.t so they should give it  in time the day the crowdsale finish. Locking it will never help and it will never add investors to invest this just making bounty hunter angry and making the project look ugly to potential investors.

thats right, before joining we read about their project and after joining it means you are committed and also ready to accept any risks that occur in the project, I also participated in many projects that eventually became a scam, even I still hold their tokens up to now. sometimes when we fight, they are stronger and can kick us. they arbitrarily change the rules at the end of the bounty very often. As a bounty hunter, we will not be able to change their decisions. I more often surrender, because I have tried and did not produce any changes.

First time I join bounty program, scam or not paying is risk but right now I see my wallet empty with potential coins and only have shit coin. The problem is we don't program future and which one is legit is unpredictable. Market not always green and situation getting worst. I still believe and dedicated my work in bounty program but after doing many research, scam still become the problems. I suggest Bitcointalk forum only accept bounty program with popular coins or already listing as payment, like or not that's the solution.

the real reason is that they want to make money by keeping their value so that they keep bounty hunters from selling cheaper, the market hasn't really shown signs of madness and is also bullish, the easy thing to do now is if you don't educate this system whether it's because of delayed delays and in installments, it indicates that they are poor projects without large capital so you have to understand that, unlike before where many projects that really have capital in the beginning so that it has always been good until now

I just love your united idea. This really needs badly. Because altcoin bounty hunters are getting neglected everywhere but if you see bitcoin paying bounty campaigns are getting huge attention. Bounty hunters are a major part of crypto, most of the crypto projects had it, so, it's time to raise voice against not paying project and do something all together.

its normal for a bounty that being handle by unpopular manager because there are alot of bounties compare to campaigns that pay on btc but this does not mean that they dont know how to make a promise   .

 popular managers can sometimes fail  or dont pay at all like what happen on the past   . to be sure , its better if they provide escrows so that the credibility of the manager or the campaign should not be questioned anymore  .

I think this problem raised in unknown bounty manager's actually who's are not professional manager. Team cannot believe in the last moment bounty reward distribution.

Tpay coin didn’t pay bounty hunters token at the end of distribution deadline because manager intention was suspecious if stolen hunters token. Bounty manager's absolutely main fact. I would like to participate in reputed manager's projects.

It sucks in both ways I would admit, but having a locked token for a period of time is still far more better than not having it at all, like in the case of jinbi, I think hunters will be very willing to have their tokens locked for a period and eventually get their reward than not getting paid at all after such effort,
There are too many project doing same thing to hunters and getting away with it, am hoping there would be another way of handling this bad behaviour of some project before it turns out to be a common attitude.

Create a group in telegram platform will be good idea. Those bounty campaign require telegram task, so the bounty hunters certainly have telegram account. Besides bounty hunter, it's need to embrace the investors too.

It's difficult to vanished those scam project that has been mushroomed throughout the cryptocurrency world, to ruin those scam project it's need to destroy them at the first place. That's why the bounty hunter and the investors need to united.

Meh, Azbit was promoted by the one and only RogVer. What else would you expect from this lying self-proclaimed bitcoin god? He shills his own BCH to get more investors into it lying that it is the first bitcoin and thus deceiving them. I hope the bounty hunters know about these fraudulent people even though nothing serious can be done to stop them.

Thing is that bounty hunters dont care to look into these sections of the forum. They are waiting to spam social media reports and get paid for that. Even if you ask them to use brains they dont seem to have any of it left. :D

But the craze for bounties has reduced for now.

I have experienced not being paid by certain bounty projects, yes it does feel disappointing because I feel the work is not valued at all, but I do not want to mention the name of the project. I think it's not just you who have experienced something like that, but almost all of the bounty hunters have experienced it. Maybe we should be more careful in choosing projects so that our work is not in vain and valued like a project that is honest and willing to pay participants.

They need to be destroy on the first day of their operation but sad to say it's really hard to tell if they are scam or not, (but not unless if they plagiarized their whitepapers and used a Photoshop for the team members) since they actually looks good in first insight and maybe for this we should be more aware.

But to avoid this case maybe we should read the content of the bounty thread since if there's locking period indicated maybe we should avoid that campaigns since we will not get any compensation since after the unlocking period the token will be worthless.

There is another one, called TrustedCars Flex (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3482073.0), they extended bounty campaign once, until the 31st of october 2018 and increased allocation from 2 to 4%, but bounty tokens are still not sent. At first they said tokens would be paid at the end of 2018, then first months of 2019, then in the summer, then at the end of 2019, the last time time they set a payment date at the time they launch their project, which were supposed to be a year ago. All questions and messages in the telegram group gets deleted, not counting the spam bot which sends dozens of useless messages daily. There is no evidence of their work, as well as how much funds they received during ICO - % amount of bounty tokens were pegged to amount of solds tokens in ICO.

If something like this already happen, i think bounty hunters can complain because they extend time twice. Maybe if bounty hunters keep pushed them, they will pay it early. But maybe for something like that, if me when the project not listed in anywhere yet, it is useless although already get paid because we can't sell it yet too.

Bounty section is in very bad status in all respects. While %85 or more is shit, the rests play games like this with hunters. That is why I stopped working with them long ago. In the past, hunters were few, that is why they could change everything in any direction as they wish, so hunters were respectful. Now compare them to the current situation. This is not the difference, everything is now dismantled and corrected from the beginning.

If i may ask, what do you intend to do about this or what are you expecting from other bounty hunters to do? These projects teams have already archive what they wanted to achieve, giving their profile on this forum red trust or tag won't change anything, many projects that have ANN on this forum are already abandoned and they are still trading on exchanges

this can only happen when hunters decided to be united and speak one voice, many dubious team are getting away with this nefarious act and its no longer acceptable, there should be a way to hold them accountable to the bargain and pay up, take Jinbi for example, after making hunters go through the kyc process, they still end up deceiving hunters, hunters needs to be unanimous to tackle this issue, especially the alts campaign,
maybe this time bounty pool should be escrow for security purpose.

You are right anonlyz many bounty hunters are not after their own self respect and reputation they only care about few pennies, i know many bounty hunters comes from different countries and $$ to other currency benefits some but what about those from countries like US? Getting paid of 15$ for a long bounty duration is insane

I get where you're coming from. And I get that kind of feelings when the team decided to keep delaying the payments. Like what the f is their problem. They promised to distribute the payments on x date, but closing to the due date, they gave us a thousands of excuses and delayed them again.

The delaying of payments has been happening since a few years ago, when I was still actively doing bounties. And even after they paid us, there's another locked period.
And the worst thing of all, the locked period could take longer than what they promised. More over, there's no telling if when its unlocked, would they have a good price or just worth a few penny.

I mean, bounty hunters have fulfilled their job, and the team only needs to do their part on their end. Just to have another excuses.

If all bounty hunters can think as one and start nailing or red tagging any bad bounty managers and projects ANN threads then there will be changes, the problem here is bounty hunters, 90% of them don't care, once a project failed they are ready to move on

You can add Weidex and Coinbundle to the lists of coins that didn't want to distribute their coin and keep delaying the distribution, it's not actually the distribution but also the inaction of the developers to develop and list their coins in the market like Adab and Bitmillex, the best thing is to create a flag for this project and create a scam thread so people will know.

Ive joined the social campaign for Tokoin project and earned good amount of toko tokens. I am indeed disappointed with their alteration regarding the bounty payment scheme. It's not fair actually to decide a change like that when they saw the market price of toko falling down. That's pretty obvious that the team are worried with the price keep on falling and I can't blame them for doing so. Ive been there so many times already and what I can't accept is the way they address complain in a shitty manner. Planning to complain but I think I'll just waste energy on them.

Dont be aggressive about them. To avoid this kind of project is our responsibility but I did get your point and hoping you can adjust with the likes of the bounty you mentioned. Relax, this isn't the end dude.

Going for legal aspects? It wont that be easy if we do consider on funds and even tracing them would already be a challenge.All you can do is to spread out warning

It is because the team of some project  are already aware of the helpless situation of bounty hunters is the reason they have the confidence to treat hunters like this, change reward payment date at will to suit their interest,
Even if hunters decided to take legal action there is little that can be achieve because money is required for some of the legal process,

Best solution will come from the bounty management, bm should be more strict with their rules in handling any campaign, let the team sign an agreement not to bridge any of the set, and also require them to escrow the tokens to protect the interest of the participants.

You cant say such thing because bm are just also like employees unless if a certain team would asked out into their service then they would give out some set of rules or criterias before they do accept to handle out the campaign.

But majority of bm's do need some work.So most of the time, they would surely accept no matter what the terms is as long they would be paid up and also even how good they are when we do talk about

Azbit project was suspicious from started because i saw some scam accusation. Roger Ver is the main part behind the scene because he promoted this project and i think just his marketing helped to make success. Investors was excited saw Roger Ver is connected in the project. I think he ruined own reputation to promote the project. Bounty hunters tokens locked in azbit.com, Azbit deceived with hunters.

Most of us came to know cryptocurrencies through Airdrops and bounties. many strive hard to learn about crypto through this platform. contrary to that. the entire bounty campaign process seems to be a mess. there are many projects that fail into this category of brain washing hunters and getting away.

*JUR* Another project that ended it's bounty on October 2018 just made payment this january after HUGE DELAYS, rules and demands. First is the hunters are to run KYC ON An exchanges(oceanex) as that is where the payment will take place. Second is payment was reduced by 60%.  can you imagine PAYMENT BEEN REDUCED BY 60%. the total reward was slashed into pieces.
This is a huge problem that needs attention. i will recommend that new bounties should pay with etherum or bitcoin to escrows before launching campaigns.

That is very unpleasant, after passing through such huge delay, reward was also cut off 60%, that is very unreasonable to be honest, but some of this team do not care about this unfair treatment to hunters, they feel they have the right to make and break rules as they please, you can't do nothing about it,
unfortunately, most of this alts paying campaign will never use escrow for payment because they are not very sincere with the rules,
and most btc paying campaigns are very limited, only few members can participate, so hunters are basically at the mercy of this unscrupulous teams.

This is not new anymore, I promoted ez365 and they add additional weeks, after the bounty ends we were told on their telegram group that the reward will be cut, no distribution yet too, I've got used to this type of disappointment and there is no way to evade this

Its inevitable and thats the reason i do quit on bounty hunting because no matter how hard you do research.There still had high chance of failure
or not getting paid.I remember once of the project i had advertised where bounty tokens tend or been locked for a year and guess what,
they do deduct the overall payout and whats more worst is that i do end up on getting tokens which doesnt have value or simply means a shit.

LOL no, that is a waste of time. If you are thinking of devoting time to something be it anything other than just hunting bounties. Of course that trend has reduced a lot now and the forum has become a bit more cleaner of spam that used to happen at one time. But if you have skills try to get a job that pays even part time. If you dont have skills maybe you need training and that can pay off, but dont be the bounty spammer.

Again bitcoin paying campaigns are always coming up in the forum so they are a also a good alternative to everyone who has a decent rank. Try to improve your post quality and attempt those in future. Forget that bounties ever existed.

There is, just dont join blindly on these campaign. Most campaign now held in altcoins are really a mess. Imagine your gonna do a promotion for how long lets say the worst is 3months.
Then imagine that the project yo promoted is scam. Very hard to accept right? Its mixed feeling of why didnt I stop.

Yes but the problem with this is the qualification. There are some decent rank but the problem here is the lack of slot to most btc campaign and they have their own preferences of users. Pretty unfair right? But thats how bounty it ia.

If you dont like then dont go for it. Campaign payments are not proper jobs but side earnings so they should not be considered to be a main source of income.

Tokoin bounty reward was already good even if they haven't pay up the rest of the tokens, some things have to be considered as well, I wish you can put yourself in developers shoe for once then you will understand

the reason i think is because they are short in budget thats why they dont make the full payment as what on stated on thier agreement before the campaign started but  this is not easily acceptable if you are one of those who work to promote them   . we can still file a case if they wont pay the rest of the coins at a given date  .  but there are some that pay batch per batch or wont pay full payment because of the avoidance of dumping of the price . maybe that is what they tryin to do but they dont only stated it clearly

you should have made this stand long ago mate because the whole 2018 and 2019 is the scammers years in this Bounty world.
from one way to another we are seeing complaints specially in social media sites that these people are really dominating the advantages of fooling Hunters.

and you are correct this must be stopped at any causes because they will never give chances for hunters to Gain but only their team will.

What is there to use brain about? With your research you still can't guarantee getting paid after bounty ends and this doesn't mean the token will have good value when it get listed, some scam projects are pretty much undetectable so it's all gambling things

If the developer or the teams can pay the rest of the token to the participants, I think their project will get more supports from people because people will see that the project is not like the other projects. I think they need to work hard for the project so they can get trust from the people so that will help their project popular and the project could gain more investor. If they still not pay the token to the participants, then I don't think that the project will stay for a long time.

If they pay bounty Hunter the remaining bounty tokens are you saying this means they will stay for a long time? Why? Because they pay hunters? This doesn't state the fact that the project will live long or not, Tokoin project is a very good project but it's sad they don't fulfill their promises, it can easily ruin their reputation

Escrow is been always suggested nor preferred but as said it would always depend on the developer itself if they would agree with the deal or not but most of them wont consider it out thats why
when you do bounty hunting then you are already on the verge or 50-50 chance of gambling yet you wouldnt know if you would get paid or not in the end.

Uniting to make an appeal or making a step to make action about this abuse would be pointless or useless.Most project owners are anonymous and once the money been stolen then theres
no change on getting it back.So hunters would be the victim and also its investors in the end.

Many developers don't like using escrow for God knows what reasons but escrow is the best way I can think of right now, few bounty managers takes this very serious and if developers aren't ready to abide to escrow scheme they  bid farewell

Escrow is the best thing for any bounty hunters it will give assurance to any participants securing their shares in times after the bounty campaign was ended, any developers who are concerned with this are responsible teams who are providing allocated funds for their participants. Every project get the ICO funds in a trusted escrow agent. Be it from this forum or private institutions who are also investors of the project. Now they may turn scam one fine day but that was your bad luck that you bought them.

True, but do the bounty hunter care? They are in it for the money and any way they can get it will be enough for them. So they go for the bounties with high payouts being fooled with greed and thus waste their time and reputation promoting a scam project. They obviously lack the brains and are less fortunate enough to not be informed or even have the intelligence to comprehend the signs.

Putting locks on bounty reward is never a good sign to begin with, I never pray for such bounty in my life because there is higher chance of never getting paid, some times it's bounty manager fault, if there will be lock on reward hunters should be the first one to know, in fact it should be on the bounty thread

   Everything related with bounty should be in the bounty thread, if it's about coins and payment then it should be transparent. If it's not,
that would be a signal that something is wrong and that you need a deeper check before joining or in the best case you should just move
from that project to some other.

you already said   Everything related with bounty should be in the bounty thread,  . that means everything including the payment , coins , allocations and a like should be announce on the thread  . keeping these things means the campaign is shady and there is a potential that they wont pay  . locking the reward is also a normal rule to some bounties . this does not mean that they are shady but they are only protecting the value of thier coins  from potential drops  because you know , bounty hunters are itching to sell thier thier coins once they recieve the payment or once the coin has been listed  . not all but most of them prolly  .

Most bounty campaign that use locks aren't always good in the end, it's either they fail to complete the payment or not all get paid, same thing happen with Storichain and till date the final payout never happened

locking it will never help the price so it never change the fact that even you lock the token investors can still sell thier share.
So if you failed to complete what you promise to investors they will sell it in time that investors know that they broke the promises they make.

This community is very supportive, we need people who are brave enough to make a scam accusation on projects that are scammers.
These people does not deserve a growth on their project, they are underestimating the bounty hunters without knowing that their reputation is very important and it could be ruin.

Indeed bounty hunters are smart now and careful when choosing where to participate because of the past experiences. It's a good thing some hunters are concern and wise to expose scam projects.

Yes its like gambling because we have no assurance since we can't determine a scam projects 100% by doing a research however we can get an idea and information about the project and that's what matter. It can help us to decide whether to participate or not.

But every newbie popping up in this newbie is just looking for money so they choose the do bounty task which keep the bounties still alive even after hundreds of scam projects for the last 2 years.So someone needs to stop these newbies to have an effect on bounties or the bounty team will enjoy the free promotion from new members forever.

You are right. But not just newbies, many high ranked members are promoting many shit bounties too! For example, I was shocked by seeing that many SR, Hero member was doing Ride Node bounty signature a month ago, the same thing is happening in Hitmex bounty! I believe if we don't have good bounties then we should stop doing bounty job for a while, take rest instead of doing shit bounties!
When all of them stop promoting shit bounties, we will have good bounty then!

I dont think this applies to everybody, maybe the majority of the new accounts signing up but some are genuine users who are trying to develop a project or have a question related to bitcoin or is a core developer. Yes it is correct that many alt account spammers who got negative trust will try to evade the trust rating by making a new account totally disregarding the reason for their punishment.

In this way the bounties go on but the trend to go for them has reduced which is evident by the reduction in new posts made in the bounty section compared to 2017 and in 2020.
