Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading?

Is it true that Corona Virus is affecting Cryptocurrency trading? If so then I have some ideas which may help to prepare the vaccine in short period of time to control the Corona Virus. However I am unable to find a forum where I may share my ideas.

Are we going to connect the Coronavirus to pretty much anything now?

But just to answer your question: In terms of stock trading, potentially[1]; but we can only speculate for now. As with bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading, I'm guessing that it will have little to no effect unless certain exchanges suddenly need to temporarily close down due to a bug and it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately assuming less people are going to be working in offices.

I don't see it at all but still people do the trades and every traders have their emotions.
Even if we say that it's nothing to do with corona virus or NCOV19, people will still think about it and start to compare what happening in stock markets or even in the price of oil.

I dont see any correlative connection between them, crypto trading will not be affected on coronavirus because we are on digital. There's probably a high chance if that has come from the stock market and it is physically involved. I dont see any valid reason if Crypto trading will affected to the world epedimic today. Stay at home and you will be safe from that virus.

For sure it is going to be, because traders are humans,if they got affected by this virus then they will liquidate or stop trading which might creates less demand and results in price drop. But as far as now the condition is not too worse so hope there will be a cure for this covid 19 soon.

not it is not true.
instead it affects people, then they panic and make stupid decisions and whales who are well aware of it are always ready to force these newbies into making those decisions in order to take their bitcoins out of their hands at a big discount and then sell it back to them later on to make a big profit.

I think by now I've come to terms with the fact that the COVID-19 indirectly affects trading simply by altering people's mood and, also given that some countries experience a large number of infected people which won't be in work means that country's GDP will go down.

In effect, this could lead to some people being more cautious when it comes to trading, either due to mood changes or else financial reasons.

At the moment I don't think that corona virus has affect on trading. However, this might change in the future. We all see that world economy and market already suffer some consequences due to the virus spread so if this escalates and lasts for longer period of time crypto market might get affected too. Let's hope for the best that this not happens but on the other side we need to be prepared on every scenario.

I don't think it'll have any direct consequences since trading cryptocurrencies does not directly involve any sort of physical interaction that may be affected by the coronavirus, but if I had to guess, we might see a decrease in prices from people selling their cryptocurrencies for a multitude of reasons that may affect the markets but not directly trading.

Please stop with the coronavirus already. It was fun at first but now everybody wants to have their own thread about corona affecting the economy, trading, Bitcoin, altcoin, the Internet, gold and whatever you can think of.

A virus that kills 2% of the sick will not do anything. This is not black death or some other big epidemic where 30% of people were dying and they had to burn and bury them in mass graves.

2 months from now nobody will talk about this anymore.

Different news in the media of the effect on delay and postponement of crypto-related events in the world, most especially Asia and Europe. It also resulted in the restriction of movement of some infected cryptocurrency personnel both involved in trade and project developments but we expect adoption of the digital currency use with restriction in movement around the world. However, there are some explanation on price dump that is associated with the virus, which I refuse to understand.

By the beginning of 2020, Bitcoin customers had hoped that prices would be higher compared to last year, but unexpectedly, the coronavirus effect was a blow to the world. The collapse of oil prices has also resulted in the collapse of the economy in all countries. Among all things, investors have been left stranded as bitcoin prices fall. Therefore, it appears that the viral effect is still quite strong.

Yes, I think when it comes to crypto trading, it is more on the exchanges itself, support or technical staff that can't attend to work. But most of these issues can be resolved online already. But maybe, if it is related to server or other equipment that needs physical attention, then that's a different story.

It may also affect if those trader's belong to the country which is affected.
Since its affected there is a chances the they need money That would make them sell crypto they hold and convert it to fiat . This is the only thing i see that may affect the price of crypto related to corona virus.

I might have to swallow my word after the dump today, the presumption of the price dump effect are possible with the pandemic disease that had affected a region where we have the active traders that need money to obtain necessities that become expensive and scarce suddenly. Am more afraid of more damage that could be cause if this persist and the government could not savage the situation early. 25% price dump in a day is huge for a bull season that had persist to surge.

It is really funny that a dude in bitcointalk forums and in the trading discussions part nevertheless wants to share with the world that he found the cure for corona virus. I mean don't get me wrong I am really happy for you that you managed to get this type of billions of dollars worth of vaccine all by yourself or whoever you are with, however that doesn't mean that you will be capable of getting money out of anyone.

Only because the simple fact that if you could get even ONE vaccine that cures ONE person, you will get billions of dollars from everywhere around the world, so you have to be lying to tell there is no way you can get your hands on a "forum" that you need to share your ideas with. If you were a scientist that can actually figure this out, you would have all world listening to what you want to say.

Yes Coronavirus have big affect in trading if you can see some sell their bitcoin because of panic buying of goods. That's why bitcoin fall down the price so it's really big affect in cryptocurrencies. So if corona virus continues in spreading maybe the bitcoin will be goes down.

There are always theoretical explanations about this pandemic decease if it is connected to the Bitcoin price movement as of now. As we saw that the price was sinking too much in the market. But for me, I saw there is a slight effect on traders when someone needs cash to spend on their families because of scare through this coronavirus. Traders have emotions that might panic and sell all their crypto assets and convert into cash.

Another reason might traders stop for a while on trading because of this virus now that continued spreading and make everyone's panic. Maybe that is the reason or maybe not but don't be panic because everything will back soon. There will be always a resistance always in the market even how the dipping price of Bitcoin.

Yeah the people prefer to cash out for now to prepare things when situation got worse that's why we see a huge dump for now since for this case the demand became more lower and situation will became worse if these virus will not contained by global health worker and provably we will see all major financial institution will collapsed and it will effect us badly especially with the bitcoins.

This time is not bitcoin price that has been decreasing but more than that another investment place has doing so, I just make a conclusion that indeed coronavirus was the affect bitcoin price and the major investment place instrument has been decreasing. Because I didn't see any another news/information instead coronavirus.

I have some of my friend who have investment in the stock, most of them just broken now. Even, there is my friend who tried to loan money to buy some stock because according him this is the best time to buy. That is the big risk ever that I saw but who know he may right to do his own prediction.

Even though before this crash came bitcoin and another cryptocurrencies price are in a good trend. Especially bitcoin who will meet its halving event, the price had increasing at the early of this year and hash rate for bitcoin was touch its all time high as well but we found this problem and made our dream destroyed.

Undeniably,  the epidemic coronavirus has causes downtrend to not just cryptocurrency market but even world's economy as well as other investment industries.  The stock and other related markets are experiencing a massive turn down at a rate higher than that of the cryptocurrency market. The activities of commerce across many nations have been limited leading to economy crisis. Cryptocurrency is not an exception as it is being traded by humans and not aliens.

However, I'm curious about the so called cure recipe you claimed to have that can cure the mighty coronavirus, like where have you been all these while when people are suffering from the disease. I'll be glad to know about this your cure

You'll find in through since not only Bitcoin and the crypto market had suffered such huge declines but the global economic system. The main concern of the people by now is their health that makes them not work with the trade or they will withdraw some of their capital for them to buy outside. This will trigger for more dumping scenario that we will experience in the incoming if this crisis will not stop. But it was good to know that this is lowering case confirmation which helps to bring back the price to high.

you said people dont foccus much on thier crypto business  ? fall of the price is useless then  . all we can hope for now is that the covid issue will be fixed or  cured so that all people can go back on thier normal lives or can bring back on thier crypto business again   .

no problems is impossible to fix as long as people will unite but unity could also not be possible if ever there are greedy people or selfish people that dont want to cooperate . well lets just hope that karma will come on thier way  .

In my experience yes, Corona Virus affect in my trading because that's why I stop it for a while and waiting for the right time to trade. I think we must check the market first because it can also affect to trading once we do mistake from it. And even we are now experiencing dumping we should have a lot patience because I think it take time before it pump again.

I think it is not affecting crypto trading directly, but we cannot deny that the crypto market now is following to go down, and we don't know if Corona Virus affects crypto trading or not. But I think that if someone is not affected by the virus, he can still trade, he can still analyze the market, and he can try to make a profit.

But globally, I think now people want to save their lives first than to do anything else, especially for people who lived in the country which suspected getting effect by the virus, so perhaps, they stop their daily activity. They are trying to search more about the virus and take care of their health. But the global economy is getting effect because of the virus. Many countries have prohibited people who want to get in or out of the country.

It could have happened in the crypto trade, which all people know crypto is traded by humans, logic, if humans in the world again experience calamities, disasters, epidemics, a virus that automatically kills people not many people think about money / crypto, busy thinking about their own destiny.

In my opinion crypto will return to normal as before, where people are safe from activities in their own lives (free from deadly diseases).
I hope everything that has happened so far can be recovered and the c virus will soon disappear, hopefully humans in this world are safe and free from disease.

I think the market crushing hard because of panic. And Yes maybe corona virus effecting on crypto trading little bit. But not so hard like what we see in the markets.
The first reason of crushing markets is "I heard about a project which exited scam" Secondly the corona virus death news in deferent countries.  But it will go back soon IMO too.

We will be back on a good prices after these challenges and maybe people are cashing out to protect their needs and health. The virus affects trading simply because it affects the traders and some trader just want to stay safe and focus on their needs than to the market condition. It continues to increase, but I hope that our medical team are doing their best protect our world, I salute China for helping Italy and I hope also that we will face the virus as one nation.

Affect trading or cryptocurrency? If you mean trading, nah that’s not going to happen, people will keep on trading cryptocurrency just like they are doing now. The only thing is that cryptocurrencies might be affected and their prices might fall to a low price.

Just like what’s happening, although I am not sure as to whether Coronavirus outbreak is why the price of most cryptocurrencies has been decreasing recently, but a lot of stock markets were affected. Bitcoin decreased in price to $7k and we weren’t sure as to what really caused the decrease, some said that Coronavirus outbreak is part of it. And the price has decreased further to $5.9k.

My comment isn’t related to any Corona Virus Infection,
But I must profess my personal affection for your ‘affect v effect’ correction.
I’m usually not one to make such a confession but it nearly gave me an erection.

Lol I didn't noticed that small mistake to be honest. Well, I'm not an OCD that's why ;D. As long as I understand the thought then it's fine with me.

Anyway, going back to the topic, I already anticipated that the current spread of a new virus will affect the crypto market. But I'm shocked because I never thought it would be so negative. I thought the market will be so alive since most of people are in their houses and busy on day trading but what seems right now is the opposite :(.

I do not see any reason for it to affect trading. The panic in the market was created by the whales and to a large extent small investors are also to be blamed for it. At the moment it has recovered quite a bit and hopefully it will recover more in the next 10 to 12 days.

Corona virus is almost affecting each and every financial monetary system present on the entire globe. It has already created a panic globally. I've made a deep research about the epidemic and also the cure to this. It would take more than a year to create a vaccine for preventing corona virus. The virus is recently been emerged having no actual cure.

If you have the idea of preparing the vaccine in short period of time than you should not waste even a single minute and get to the work as many lives are been lost because of this deadly virus. 4000+ people are already dead and the number of infected ones is really huge. Most of the cities are on lock down. Schools and colleges are shut down. This is really creating a huge mess.

It was the stocks which was affected greatly by this messy virus.
It had gone viral and spread all over the world that people are beginning to panic.

Effects could be pulling out their investments and exchanging it to cash just so they could buy their necessities in case something worse would happen in the next few weeks.
People are starting to panic which is like a domino effect to others.
They are buying all the stuff to preserve their lives and stacking it all at wherever place they keep it.

It might have affected crypto currencies for I believe some of the traders also did sell for cash.

Even the experts are not yet successful in creating a cure for this virus which is making a lot of people lose their lives. OP should never spread a fake awareness about creating a vaccine for this virus as it might even create a strong hope for the families of the infected ones.

This virus is been declared as a global cause and even the president of the US declared a national emergency for corona virus. Foreigners are been treated as a threat in each of the nation which is almost loosing humanity. Also corona virus has highly infected the stock markets as well as the crypto markets. People are moving their money out from such markets just to be prepared for what comes next.

Are we going to connect the Coronavirus to pretty much anything now?
Five days after OP wrote his post here, I'd say it's a good bet that pretty much anything in the financial world is going to be linked to it--and I think for good reason, too.  The stock market is getting pounded, metals are getting pounded, everything is going down the tubes.

But hey, I think it's a great buying opportunity for those who have balls of steel and some cash.  I have the former but definitely not the latter, which is unfortunate.  In any case, bitcoin will survive this but yes, the coronavirus is certainly going to be affecting crypto trading.  That should be obvious at this point since bitcoin is teetering at the $5k level and all of the altcoins I follow are getting slammed.  Right now people shouldn't be selling; they should be buying, because that's how you make money.

When this op was written, no one would have thought this would be the market situation. But the reality is that the Corona virus has made an affected in the crypto market As it has put it all in the economic market. Many, including myself, thought the crypto market would go up because of the Corona virus news. Because there was a lot of good news coming out for the crypto market. As a result, all the traders had the confidence that the market would pump huge. But the Corona virus panic has dumped the market.

I seriously doubt bitcoin could get a leeway just because it is digital. People have been doing online shopping for over a decade now and everyone who gets their products with digital payment via online shops can still use their credit cards to pay, so bitcoin is not the only thing that is corona-free payment.

However, it is weird that it was affected, I suppose there are a lot more wall street money involved in crypto than we realized, maybe all of that 20k times was the moment they decided to get in, there are times when they get out and get back in so this was probably some time they got out.

Hopefully, they will realize their mistake and start accumulating more after this but I wouldn't rule out gradual increase instead of all in from them since it is really hard to go all in when you are in that much trouble.

Title: Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading?
Post by: beerlover on March 16, 2020, 06:59:55 PM
Technically speaking it shouldn't, I mean trading has nothing to do with corona but that is technically. When it comes to emotions a lot of people actually worry that the economical crisis that is about to come because of corona will cause so many horrible situations that we will need A LOT of money to pay for these, I personally wouldn't want it to happen but that looks like the case that is about to happen and that is what people are afraid of as well.

So, when people are afraid that their money will be gone and everything will be more expensive and life will be harder, what did they do? They sold their stocks, golds, bitcoins and everything they had to stay in cash so they could simply pay for stuff with the cash if they ever get any trouble finding money otherwise.

We cannot say that Corona Virus might affect trading because we don't know how big the impact on the crypto market. But if many people in one country have traded in the crypto market, and many of them got infected by the virus, I think they need to recover their health first before they can start to trade again. So if you can help with the vaccine of the Corona Virus, then it will help many people out there who got infected so they can cure themselves.

I am sure that in the future, we will see a cure for this virus so that many people will get help from the vaccine. Many countries finally declared a national emergency for the Corona Virus as many people become infected because they don't want to see their people get to suffer because of that virus. Maybe that is why the market is down this month, and many people want to be ready for anything that might comes by having money first so they can buy something for their lives.

We are seeing most of the market is affected by the Corona Virus, worldwide market losing its value which makes most of the share market and cryptocurrency market losing value. Corona Virus is really affecting the market because the effected rate is kept increasing.

I agree with you it is true that the Corona virus has an impact on the business The condition of the market is much worse now than before The crypto market has lost its status in every business frustration. And as the price of each currency has dropped significantly many are leaving the crypto market Many have stopped trading because the businessmen lost their capital.

I also didn't believe initially that the virus could ever affect trade but now truth Coronavirus has definitely affected the whole market and therefore the price of each currency within the market has dropped significantly. Businesses are spending days in frustration but if the new vaccine developed by the Coronavirus is effective it are often cured and therefore the market will return to its former location.

- Indeed, the global economy is facing a huge pandemic, many businesses have been forced to temporarily close, which has a strong impact on the economy, many people sold crypto in panic to hoard more food during this period. In addition to these negative issues, we should remember that the number of traders who are at home is very high, they will manage and monitor this market more often, that makes it harder for us to make money because whales will make more traps when the number of players is too crowded and too easy to be affected by the collapse

Cryptocurrency trading wont get affected because all you really need to do is set on your chair and stare on your PC and the guys doing the maintenance of the trading exchanges are possibly working at remote or in a isolated cubicle, so trading is business as usual.

For me the perfect vaccine is to stay indoors until scientist finds the cure.

In my opinion yes it dose. No doubt this virus effect on hole world economy system, so in my thought of course it dose effect on trading no matter it's crypto or stock trading. Crypto still not use like FIAT money. Clearly still fiat money popular than crypto so if fiat currency strangling for virus than of course it dose effect on trading platform.

I don't know you are trying to steal some attentions or not but if you have ideas about vaccine then why don't you contact in right place like WHO or at least your countries health department. Why you are finding a forum to share thoughts.?

Is it true that Corona Virus is affecting Cryptocurrency trading?

I'll answer you with another question:

- if you had a deadly disease, would you think about staying at the computer doing trade or would you withdraw your money to pay for your needs and give to your family?

If so then I have some ideas which may help to prepare the vaccine in short period of time to control the Corona Virus.

vaccines follow a long process, there is no way to accelerate this process, would you be happy to have a vaccine that has not gone through a long process with good results?

However I am unable to find a forum where I may share my ideas.

if you have that knowledge, then you can go on the TV channels that they love exclusive news

Personally, I do not understand how coronavirus can interfere with trading.
Will it infect the servers of all major exchanges and disable them?

Even if the market continues to fall, it will only open up more trading opportunities for traders.

You can express your ideas here or in a branch devoted to various kinds of ideas.

People had to prior their needs and health assurance rather than prioritizing their trading carrier. Some areas where safe from the situation might doing it but because of a huge number of an affected individual, we can expect to see like this.

It might put into question why it drops knowing that there is no transfer of viruses because we are doing it online? Yes, it was but people that performing such actions are in troubled and trying to escape from getting infected and find a place to stay forcing them to hold in trading for a while.

I think investor sentiment is greatly affected by this disease and investors tend to panic a lot during this time. In addition, markets such as stocks or forex are heavily affected and this is definitely a very bad time for investors.

However, if you are holding fiat, this is a great opportunity for you to invest in some cheap coins because many of the coins in the crypto market are very low.

I think by now it is very clear that the COVID-19 is affecting and will affect trading. And the reasons I think this are: most people won't be able to go to work and for those who are self-employed but can't work because of the quarantine no money will be coming in to pay for their day-to-day expenses so saving for investment/learning to trade/trading generally won't be an option for most of these people. On a global scale not having people into work means reduced GDP and thus most countries will hit recession. All of this is bad because there will be not much spending going one, never mind investing or taking higher risks.

At first I've thought that the calamity wouldn't affect the cryptocurrency trading and the whole crypto market at all. Yet recently the market went red, as the virus spreads throughout the globe. Despite the fact that trading crypto doesn't require any physical contact nor done in a certain place where people are crowded, what makes the market itself (the traders) really is a huge factor. And with the calamity continuously spreads, many must be careful first and have their own priorities as well. Some may have still find a way to trade, yet some have different mindsets than the others. Therefore, it had affected it so much.

Uuhm, the outbreak of Coronavirus is affecting every stocks in the market, and assets . Stocks like gold, silver, other precious metals and other things have all been affected by the outbreak. You might be right about that, it’s likely that a lot of people have stopped trading right now. The decrease in price made everything to be worse, a lot of people might be afraid to be trading at this time because they fear they might lose their money.

But, if you still check the cryptocurrency market you will notice that there are still lots of people that are buying, the buying rate I saw on Coinbase today is 72%, so people are still buying. Long term traders (Hodlers) would see this as an opportunity to buy at a low rate.

They still have confidence when choosing to invest and when the market is down, it is a great opportunity for people to invest again. I think that at any price, there will be buyers and that is what every investor wants when joining this market. I think the epidemic may only affect the psychology of investors and when this is over, things will soon stabilize. Personally, I'm still optimistic and still invest in some of the coins that I consider to be potential.

Not that much, In my country kiosk to buy Bitcoin is temporarily unavailable due to COVID, also remittances that accept bitcoin cannot be used because of lockdown.

Online payments are the only options here. Once this is over, hard cash to btc can be exchange instantly again.

Hoping for the best after the cure was invented, but due to this situation better to have a good assessment before riding to any position that you think you'll be placing your investment.
Corona needs to find a good cure and after that the entire market will be healthy once more. Even there's no direct relationship between this virus and Bitcoin financial institutions are being affected and more investors are pulling thier money from any market.

A lot of assets evaporate from this epidemic and it frightens investor sentiment. I'm not sure when this epidemic will end but the predictions will probably last until the end of this year and you need to be more careful when choosing to trade during this time.

However, I am still very optimistic because this time is a very good opportunity for me to buy some cheap coins and if lucky, I still earn double profits in just a short time.

Since corona virus affect people, including the traders' health; this it can affect cryptocurrency trading. It doesn't affect it directly but rather in a different way. On the other hand we can see that the crypto market is halving again in which there is no certain reason but Im guessing because people tend to transact more likely with crypto since they can't go to the bank due to lockdown.

We don't know the answer yet maybe no or maybe yes, but in my opinion I don't see any connection between the trading and the Covid19 what we are experienced of the whole world and everyone will be in danger.

But what I've noticed is when that virus spread to the different countries the price of the bitcoin snd most of the altcoind starts decreasing almost 30 percent of the price of the value of the month dumped. But maybe that is coinsidence bit there is no one can prove of what is happening in the trading market if it's related to the Corona Virus  or not.

Well, it is a circle isn't it? When there is a fear, the stocks fall, when stocks fall everyone sells, when everyone sells the stocks fall and it keeps going like that.

Even companies profits are like that, when there is an economic fear people react according to it and not spend too much, when they do not spend too much companies do not get their money and when they do not get their money they don't profit and when they don't profit there is actually a reason for economic fear, so it all circles back to beginning.

Whatever you fear in finance will result back in that fear becoming true if you have the numbers. If enough people think that dollar is worthless people, it will be a worthless paper, don't ask me how because if 7 billion people today say that "we will not use dollar anymore" that will make it worthless, we won't but the theory is there.

Of course, this is often bad because with paper money the market won't return to its former position due to the impact of the Coronavirus on the business. If the coronavirus is prevented it'll return to its previous location Market whales have lost their control.

It does really affects the world market because today there is a lot of the news because the stock market falls down immediately after the spreading of the pandemic virus also the world of cryptocurrency got affected most of the people withdraw their funds into fiat currency and use that money to buy all the things they need because some of the country today are having a lockdown so there is any chance that they will go out or go in even in their houses and one of the good thing they need to do is to stay at home and wait all things need to be fine. Still, we are looking forward that all of the people become some and back to normal again and the trading becomes wealth and profitable again.

So, a lot of these assets will be lost and lost forever from circulation if no one finds the Private Keys of passwords to the wallets.

I guess you are talking about PlusToken which was a ponzi scheme if anyone is not aware about it, they stole a massive amount of bitcoins, ethereum and EOS and they left a message of "sorry we have run" which really made me feel how bad the investors must have felt reading that message.

You guys may read about it here - https://boxmining.com/plus-token-ponzi

I do believe that this virus has caused chaos and there will be a big problem for almost everyone even if you are untouched by the virus, the platform you trade on, the industry you work for are affected and that directly affects you. I heard there is a big crash in the share market and people even sold their assets like bitcoin which caused a bitcoin slump too.

Right now I think it is losing its power, it all started out as something that would affect crypto and the prices went down and we have seen as low as close to $3.5k bitcoins and that was what we have seen thus far, however right now we are seeing corona affect dying off.

Right now, price is going up back again which means people do not care about corona anymore. I mean they do of course care about it in the sense of not getting infected, many people are isolated at homes even if they do not have corona just because they do not want to go out and get infected but that is the health part of the discussion. They care about that but they do not care about the economical side of it anymore, they care in the sense that they think its undervaluing many things including bitcoin so they started to rebuy everything.

In my opinion, for the direct influence on the crypto market? I don't think that's it, we're in a decentral area. but to some extent, it affects bitcoin holders who can indirectly change the market to various destinations. many say that the crypto zone and the global economy are only a little touch and there is no reason to influence each other.

I think it's quite easy to find some discussion forums about health. But it is difficult to get a lot of people to notice what you want to express (ideas).

It seems to me that we are missing one point that indicates that quarantine, which was introduced due to the coronavirus epidemic, can directly affect the state of the cryptocurrency market.  The fact is that you need to take into account the fact that people in quarantine are at home and every person needs to do something.  Someone watches porn, someone watches a movie or reads books, and is engaged in self-education and can look for alternative sources of income, as well as get acquainted with different digital currencies.  It should be borne in mind that many people can become potential investors in the cryptocurrency, as well as potential traders, which in turn will increase the demand for cryptocurrency and increase public interest in the cryptocurrency market.

This is a fundamental factor so that any influence will always be there in every market and every event will have a large or small impact that all depends and not all markets will have the same level of increase and decrease in large numbers in each case that occurs. By the way, what vaccine do you have to get rid of this pandemic and if it is true that you have the vaccine formula I don't think this is the place, because for that at least you should immediately contact the health or medical authorities to review the vaccine you have.

We know it's already affected in trading, but I think, it's a shorter effect. It will be solved as soon as Covid-19 solved.
It's very sad news there is no vaccine found yet.
We hope it will be founded very soon. Otherwise, there will be a very bad effect on the economy all over the world.

Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading?

Is it true that Corona Virus is affecting Cryptocurrency trading? If so then I have some ideas which may help to prepare the vaccine in short period of time to control the Corona Virus. However I am unable to find a forum where I may share my ideas.

When corona virus started it results a huge effect around the world and many people are get infected onto it. In some aspects the corona virus has an effect in trading just like on what happening now, in the way of rapidly down of all market prices, because many people are going panic that's why everything is effected on it .

[1] https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/10/business/wall-street-coronavirus-shutdown/index.html

I am on the same page. It has less or no effect on the cryptocurrency as such on one note!

I mean market seems to be recovered pretty faster as we would have imagined it in other way. I mean it should have been dropping like hell but look at it, its stable like heaven.

It may happen that people sitting at home could be into crypto now as they have nothing else to do due to lockdown's and it may happen that crypto will rise further with good intensity.

It was clear that many traders hoping that before they collapse, the coronavirus will end instantly because there is a possible effect that the cure is found, recently even more cryptocurrency traders have not been doing well since the exchange rate of coins has been dropped by a few percent causing of many miners around in which are infected, crypto trading is still defending their economy against this economic crisis.

It actually turned out great if you think about how far we have come compared to everything else. Right now world is in shambles, all companies are thinking how they suppose to make any money, think about all the luxury stuff that people will probably stop buying right now, everyone is trying to save themselves, sure bread sales are probably same, TP sales are through the roof, but think about all the things you do not need right now.

Think about apple, they both have a place in china that they are unsure about manufacturing, plus in USA and all around the world, you think people are going out and buying apple products right now? There is no way that could happen right now. So people will soon realize that apple stock is as worthless as apple products, bitcoin is where it is at.

Now the worth of every currency is far lower So how can people protect the economy by trading The Coronavirus has impacted everything within the world even within the crypto market Now nobody is making extra money by trading. the quantity of investment is just too low and lots of have left the market therein case it's an enormous loss for the business.
There are still people who manage to earn money inside this market those who knows the deeper rules around can turned bad situation into good ones, they just assess and adjust whenever there's open opportunities they will grab and play well.
Wise and experienced traders are up into challenge finding chances of keep on doing what they've known better.

I think that the Corona virus will definitely affect trading because people who have lost their jobs or are running low on cash will most likely need to withdraw their crypto to pay bills, which will naturally result in less crypto being traded.
But on the other side also, some people who also lost their jobs and have some savings, they can start to trade while they are staying in their homes. But still, for me, it's not advisable, putting your savings on risk, since we all know trading is risky.
But totally, coronavirus(Covid19) is really affected the trading, positive or negative. Like what we saw on recent dump from around $7,500 to around $3800, a lot of people got liquidated.

No but its affecting our daily day to day activities that is also making it difficult to get the finances to the the crypto currency world, the world inthe stock market and in every other has lost about 4 trillion and thats a siginificant amount to even affect us so I believe yes and no, it depends on the perspective to which we are doing this

But maybe because of the crypto is dumping so the peiple create an idea that coronavirus harm crypto but maybe it is only coinsidence .

I really hoping that dumping of crypto and coronavirus will end soon because this is all we want to happen because we are affected of this two problems.

With the current condition, and some policy/direction from the government telling everyone to stay home and doing a lockdown. Here a few reasons why this virus getting the impact into investment purpose, since bitcoin/crypto one of the instrument assets:
  • Export & Import has been stopped at the moment, because of that there is no income from the country and make economy crisis for a lot country
  • Doing a lockdown, everyone cant does anything.
  • All activity companies, businesses, jobs, and other activities were distributed.
  • Everyone not doing a productive activity like going to works.
Because of that, they cashout the money from an investment like stock, crypto and other assets into fiat for supporting their economy financially. I think is not a good option, for everyone who always thinking about investment during these pandemics.

Except for health stock like a mask, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and other things health industry. Since request the product increased during the crisis, makes their stock rising quickly.

Corona has already affected the cryptocurrencies market and as it has affected other assets we should not expect any different. Bitcoin deep from near $10500 to $3888 is not a small thing and the fear and uncertainty in the market right now is still very high. We should not think that now still remains best time for cryptocurrencies because human beings is still the one trading it and emotions, greed and fear must play their part.

We will be back on a good prices after these challenges and maybe people are cashing out to protect their needs and health. The virus affects trading simply because it affects the traders and some trader just want to stay safe and focus on their needs than to the market condition.
Yeah I was learning some facts from a few articles and I found that there is an acute shortage of funds too in corona-virus affected places and people are just selling almost every savings they had and I also think that various big miners in these areas are also affected as they might be stopping it and cashing their hardware and even their savings.

It continues to increase, but I hope that our medical team are doing their best protect our world, I salute China for helping Italy and I hope also that we will face the virus as one nation.
I am not sure but I believe some researches have claimed that as the temperature rises this virus tends to slow down and it is mostly dangerous when the temperature is down. But that said, if it was that simple to kill the virus then there would have been a vaccine by for now so fingers crossed but this is really tough times for all of us.

We are seeing most of the market is affected by the Corona Virus, worldwide market losing its value which makes most of the share market and cryptocurrency market losing value. Corona Virus is really affecting the market because the effected rate is kept increasing.

Crypto currency are not affected for pandemic corona virus. Stock market and crypto market is different things. But if spreading panic and majority of the people’s are lock down situation, so crypto is something affected in that case. Still we are not see any massive drop. Holders are losing money from their portfolio but i don’t think traders are big affected.

It's a really golden time for every trader, of course a lot depends on how well you understand the market and whether you can benefit from what's happening, I wouldn't raise a panic, LOL... Because this is not the first time when the world is a little cowardly because something went wrong, I do not think that this is some kind of conspiracy or pre-planned action, because in fact on the economic level it is not profitable for the states. But it's definitely of great importance for private companies, both small and large, when it's obvious that some of them are now getting super profits, while others are suffering colossal losses and it's not clear when this situation will stabilize. Which means this is our chance to make money, and it's very decent, so let's not waste time...

I think that there is no connection with corona virus about the trading. We know about covid- 19, it is included or affected by man to man with his touch or other few ways. Therefore,  we know that without going anywhere we can trade our cryptocurrency without any fear. I also trade easily and there is no affect with my trading.

Coronavirus isn't affecting cryptocurrency trading as compared to other financial markets. We still have various exchanges up and running and accessible from anywhere. However, the virus is having huge impact on flow of funds in and out of the market. Less circulation of money in the world economy is causing less money moving into the crypto market and at the same time, people are cashing out to have money to survive during this period.

One way or another, the coronavirus does not have a direct relationship to these or other processes of the cryptocurrency market.  but it is necessary to take into account the fact that coronavirus affects people and their physical and psychological state.  we all know that trading requires a sober and healthy mind in order to make the right decisions not only for trading, but also for profitable investments in cryptocurrency.  Based on this, it can be theoretically assumed that coronavirus in a certain sense affects all the activities of cryptocurrency users who are in one way or another in contact with this problem.

Is there any doubt about it, just look at the charts for the last couple of weeks, it seems that everything just got out of hand, it is clear that everything we see has a logical basis, and every situation or moment can be clarified, but if we can figure out whether we could have assumed this six months ago, as we used to do, of course we can consider it one global news, which consists of many components that have pulled a series of events that fundamentally change the economic and political situation. I think we need to be as careful as possible now, because the market is extremely turbulent and every action we take can be very serious.

Trading has been a little bit hectic nowadays, people are really looking forwards to going a little bit more stable and having some sort of courage but unfortunately for now there is really no stability and that causes people to be stay on their food and keep them at the edge.

When they are like that what causes bitcoin to not go up is the fact that when you go up some people will take profit, when they take profit price shifts lower just a bit and when that happens since people are on the edge they get panic mode and they start selling and that small correction becomes a huge drop in price. It is not something we all love seeing but it is whats happening right now. What will recover us from this is getting a bigger push no matter how much correction it gets hit with.

What effect do you meane? This dumping happening right now?  Due to this pandemic many people don't have any job and the money they use is from their savings or their last salary they got and once it gone maybe if they are using crypto to get money by selling their coins so maybe it is one of the effect but not only because of that. If the lockdown will end and if the crypto increase maybe that is one the reason why crypto is down.

Let's wait until the halving event later and if the effects of this crisis continue to occur it is clear, this pandemic is affecting the crypto trade because at the moment we can at least assume the falling prices because it is indeed a major correction that will indeed occur before and after the halving bitcoin event. If this market is affected due to the impact of a crisis at least I am sure prices will continue to fall to below 5k but what happens is that prices can still strengthen and recover even if only a small recovery.

As to the amount traded in crypto, there is no decline yet so I don't think this virus has really affected the market.

In fact, crypto market is a stronger market compared to stocks now, as this is our opportunity to show the world that crypto is no way correlated to stocks.

i think not because mostly trading is done online using exchanges there are no physical interactions needed to trade Cryptocurrency. Also when the exchanges need maintenance the developer could just do it in their laptop but except for system admin they need to be physically present to the server room incase some hardware fails but mostly only one guy is needed for such a job.

- Agree that traders are still at home and continue to seek profit on the crypto market during the Corona season, that makes you feel that everything is still very normal and the market has no direct influence from Corona but that's just under subjective perspective, the outside is still nice but the inside of the market has changed negatively. The suddenly falling value of bitcoin is a testament to the influence, although the recovery is happening but the fluctuation is relatively low when investors' capital cannot be flexibly circulated in the face of difficult economy

I don't think it's true that corona virus has an effect on trading. Because I noticed several popular trading volume exchanges
continues to grow and also the price of bitcoin rises slowly approaching halving. So do not be the same as the stock market that

of viruses corona.

It may not have a "direct" relation to crypto however it doesn't change the fact that it has an indirect relation to crypto at the very least. Right now world is in pandemic global panic mode, there is literally thousands of people dying every single day, every single day! We are talking about more people dying in the past 3 months from corona than any war in the past 10-20 years, that is A LOT OF people.

For some reason some people think it will pass and it will be fine and nothing will happen, but they are forgetting that something already HAPPENED, and it will continue for a while as well but even if you do not believe the horrible threat we are facing at least check out what happened in the past week alone! That is why crypto being impacted by corona is quite normal.

Does not have direct effect, but it has! After the corona virus started major markets are started to crash down until all of the market loses value crypto market is included! It didn't have a direct effect but you can see the pattern that because of this crisis people are pulling out their money into safety causing markets to crash down. Right now the virus is still out so we can't see any good news in crypto, I think if the virus is cured we will see a big market changes.

It is really true that corona affected us a lot because we lack liquidity but at the same time showed the world how we are insisting on not dropping neither.

Are we down right now compared to where we were? Sure, we are but at the same time we are a lot better than the bottom we hit as well, we bottomed out at 3600 levels and that took less than 24 hours to bounce back above 5k, which showed the whole world that we might lack in liquidity but we also have huge heart and bravery to go back in when everything looked so gloom as well.

During the peak of corona when everyone was afraid, there were people who were buying bitcoin with their cash when they could have used it for survival. That speaks levels of what we can do for bitcoin and that worths something to some people.

Yes, many countries are facing issues with Coronavirus because daily labor is losing their work and this makes many people are don't have money to eat food. This pandemic makes many people kept their money aside for living and not for trading.
Ever since this topic was created it affected trading in all directions and it is a bit confusing to see as well. First it affected because traders were afraid and sold, after that it was hopeful because everyone saw it was low and realized bitcoin worths more and bought, after that it got so high that people thought it was too much and sold, now for a while people think corona is not really a huge issue anymore (still big but we are not stuck at home and dying by tens of thousands every day) so they stopped.

Like this is three directions bitcoin price could go, up/down/stable and all of it happened all due to corona. It is a marvel and still confusing that one thing could affected another in every single direction like it did. That is why it was so hard to trade during this period for thousands of people.

Covid-19 affected investor psychology very much, and in the second half of this year, the whole world economy declined very quickly in just a short time. I'm very bored at home, and my current job has to stop temporarily. Covid-19 affects the lives of millions of people around the world, and I just want a vaccine to stop it. Of course, vaccines will be the news that can make the whole economy recover and investment demand will rise again.

Why there are so many threads like this? What does BTC and crypto trading have to do with COVID-19? Like affecting it's price and make traders panic because of the economic collapse?

I don't think it affect that much, and traders keep trading like the normal days. While the economy collapsed, cryptocurrency and blockchain have benefited more from it. Before the lockdown happened here in my city, Bitcoin was treading water from $5k to $5.5k.

Now we're treading water at $9k to $9.5k range and blockchain-related jobs, virtual events and demand have surged even more.

Well I think we have so many threads like this one because people are brainwashed. This is only a try to sum it up, this government campaign is like "wash your hands, while we wash your brain". Covid is everywhere around, they locked us down and on tv and newspapers only things you could see is Covid, how many new sick people we have, how many have died, how strong virus it is, what are we going to do about it, bla bla bla...
Lock down have a positive effects on crypto, simply many people didn't have what else to do than to search internet, and probably the most searches were about how to make some money online, crypto is more popular than ever and people had time to check more about it.

The virus affects everything, well it can be a good or bad effect to anyone. But in trading, its not that much since we always move depend on the market trend and market situation, so this is just like a normal scenario in trading where you have to cut your losses in order to minimize the losses and buy again when you see the opportunity price to enter. If you get too emotional then it will be hard for you to trade right now, better to build yourself first and set aside that emotions.

The market moves according to traders sentiments, if you are working with this business you need to setup everything
according to how you understand the situations.
Corona might impact investors in terms of wisely use their money, there are people who choose to stay away from the
market and keep their money.
Making sure that they've got enough funds to fill their everyday needs, instead of placing an entry they are postponing

The only relation that I see is that during economic crisis, world economy is really struggling to manipulate and help their economy to recover. Cryptocurrency is not that really affected from this pandemic and they have different targets and platform to be affected with.

It is not that because economy is in a downward movement, trading will also occur in a downward movement.

They are not that really related to each other. You can trade whenever you want in the market but you just need to make sure the market situation. Just continue trading until you're getting profit from it and stop when it is not. Covid-19 can promote the use of cryptocurrency but not directly affect the trading in the market.

This thread just got bumped as it was posted back in March.

In the end, there's just minimal to no effect on crypto since every single thing that you'll almost do in crypto is in digital and that counts no physical contact that leads to the risk of infection unless you're still doing personal trades to other people from afar but I don't think that many people do that anyway.

If there's anything of an investment that it got affected, it would be the stock market nonetheless.

It's kinda crazy that Bitcoin dipped to 5k like it was back in 2018 when it went even more below that and there's even no pandemic that happened that year.

Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading?

Is it true that Corona Virus is affecting Cryptocurrency trading? If so then I have some ideas which may help to prepare the vaccine in short period of time to control the Corona Virus. However I am unable to find a forum where I may share my ideas.
Coronavirus has a direct impact on financial markets and forex trading and it will continue to do so for a long period of time. There is high volatility in the market due to COVID-19

Most likely the fault is not so much the coronavirus as the quarantine measures that it entailed. In some countries, as you know, quarantine was not introduced, and the economy continued to operate normally.
It is possible that if the quarantine measures were not so tough in America and China, we would not have seen such a strong drop in quotations.

The word trading can be a vague term to describe a few things, it might be the market itself, the traders themselves, both, or maybe some other factor. Tbh, even with it affecting the market in general, just by seeing the market today, you could see that it made quite a successful recovery from the damage it "possibly" dealt. As for traders being affected, I doubt it much. Even if there were some infected traders, I doubt the market would be affected that much, I mean, the amount of people that trade every day is enormous and a part of them being infected and stopping trading shouldn't be that huge.

Also, if you want to give ideas to help the vaccine for COVID - 19, go to a hospital mate. Or just look up contact numbers of medical agencies or something. You should be able to coordinate with them more than enough and I'm pretty sure your ideas are much more well understood when heard by a professional (that is unless they identify you as being crazy even before hearing your idea).

There is a link between trading and Covid 19. For example, during this lockdown, number of players have significantly increased in online and live casinos. That was the result of people staying at home for a long time. Logically, same should apply to trading and yeah, that happened. When you are stuck at home and think about other possibilities to earn money, trading will be the most common thing you'll see online. So this made a lot of people interested in trading and as a result volume has increased a lot.

Price is a whole different subject because there happened opposite of what people were thinking and saying. Bitcoin was able to be stable in such a hard moments. I think Covid proved to people that bitcoin is different from their centralized USD and there is some light in it.

Three months after your question, the time has served to answer you, more than any prediction that the first users who answered could make, certainly some very correct in their guesses.

Although there is a tendency to guide this type of question, on the negative side, the reality is that its effect has been positive on the volume of trade if we compare it with the same period of the previous year, which has been greater, seeking a comparison that allows us to have an objective look to use an external agent like covid 19.

You guys both make a quality point and i agreed with @shield132 because there was high traffic of crypto trading and investors during the total lockdown while there also increase in number of panic/emergency of bitcoin sell we also see some investors accumulating Gold.
Meanwhile, covid 19 will make both postive and negative impact on the market but its the level of every individual understand and trust in the market will determine what will happen.

positive effects is still high compare to the negative effect of covid because  people are more aware in crypto . this include new people that havent know crypto before , those that leave crypto can still come back soon and if that happens crypto will now become powerful than before .

the price is the same because like i said earlier there are people that sell and there are people that buy . the only thing that improve is the awareness which is still a win win situation  .

Does it affect your trading? I personally could say that liquidation is very low right now which means it both affects trading but also doesn't as well. It does effect it in the sense that people are not trading as much as they used to which drops the volume and liquidation and that means it is more vulnerable towards manipulation however that is only viable because people are afraid of trading to begin with.

It also doesn't because people who are not afraid and still want to trade just goes out and trade it, sure it was a moment when it dropped and went high again and that is due to covid but right now that is gone and people who trade right now have nothing to do with corona at all. That is why I think people who are affected are effected but the ones who are not continues like nothing happened.

The effect of the covid-19 is evident in all the markets worldwide, it was logical, it is fundamental, the emotions were evident, even even the gold fell a little, those traders who took advantage of the fall were many, all important event in The world will have an effect on the market for both Bitcoin and everyone.
I agree and I believe the price that dropped recently after corona was dominating had something to do with covid-19 too because people were feeling like the world has come to an end and there was panic all around. In fact, I heard a lot of miners stopped and such rumors were imminent.

I believe the crypto trading is eventually not influenced too much though because there were positive and negative both type of trades, while some wanted to sell their coins to liquid their situation and get some money rolling in times of no jobs and scarcity while at the other hand there were guys who saved much more money by cutting out on their spending so they were positive and buy bitcoins and hence I believe eventually it was just neutral overall talking of the impact of pandemic on trading for crypto.

The awareness and usage of crypto broadened due to number of crypto exchange user traffic level but if we calculate the level downtrend and uptrend of the market i can say it a 50-50 percentage and the important thing is that the market maintain price range that prevent huge panic sell.

In general, COVID-19 does not have much influence on this market and until now, the crypto market has remained stable during this period. I think people are too scared when it comes to this disease and if there is a vaccine then the situation will become more positive. Of course, it will take a lot of time, and we are not sure anything when investing, so it is best to sit still instead of choosing to invest in this period.

Well, not all markets are affected, stock will be hit hard because they are physical companies that need workers while cryptocurrency is not affected, the people that are panic selling are probably regretting their decision.

Exactly, the prices are not dictated by the pandemic maybe some people that are selling needs the cash because they need to sustain their needs in this dire times, vaccine would dramatically change things permanently because we will be marked with an unforgettable lesson. I do think that this is the best time to invest because most prices are experiencing dip and I think that is an oppurtunity for many to purchase stocks or sometimes crypto at a lower price.

I believe that you dont even have time to watch the chart. In the past 4 months, COVID-19 has a lot of impacts on international trade, including cryptocurrency. Bitcoin dropped below $4000 in March and Oil was less than 5$/can. There are many many people who lost their money during that moment. Dont say something you dont even know about it or you dont even have the time to make a research on it. This pandemic is truly a nightmare to all of us and no one and no market can escape from its shadow

The economy is surely a huge factor because it is the basis of the market situation whether it is good to perform a trade or not.

The effect of Covid-19 in terms of market and the economy is really can be felt right now due to the stock markets that are crashing.
These factors can really affect the price of cryptocurrency that you are going to trade but that's not that serious that it will bring huge drop in its price.

At the present time, it will be a little difficult for newbie to enter the trading market due to this Corona virus. Because everyone financial situation is very bad at this time, it is very difficult for them to invest in the trading market.

I dont think old traders will have any problem at this time because they are already investing. For those who have family problem in this situation, if they withdraw money from trade market and if the people want to come again  it will be a little problem for them.

I do not feel the effects of the corona virus on crypto trading, because there is no connection between the corona virus and the world of trading.
If you don't believe, please doing your own research, pay attention to the movement of the crypto market before the corona virus occurs and after
the corona virus. There were no significant changes, so I as a trader even though quarantine was not a problem because crypto traders did work
at home. No need to move outside the home, to trade crypto only requires a mobile phone and the internet.

I'm sorry but I have to say that I disagree with your idea! First of all, the cryptocurrency market is one of those economic markets in the world. When the pandemic appears, every single market has to be affected. The global pandemic affects to different markets in different ways. However, our crypto market still suffers from it! The reason is not about where traders work, the value of coins are affected by many external and internal factors!

We have seen that the covid19 effect on trading is both positive and negative. During the beginning of covid19, there were panic sells which drives the price down but with time the price recovered and there has been upsurge in price particularly when the government release funds to the citizens to mitigate the effect of the virus on the standard of living. Cryptocurrency trading is another aspect of the crypto space in addition to investing and/or IEO scenarios; therefore I can say that since the pandemic affected the crypto space there is no way it won't affect trading because some of the deciding attributes in the crypto space is news which most times brings fear and panic, therefore since these were instilled during the height of the pandemic it affected everything. But nowadays, people are gradually moving on while finding more reasons to continue in their different endeavours which will help sustain them. Talking about your idea, is it crypto related or what? Either way, if you believe it can help, then continue working on it.

That theory it's hard to support because actually no one is making exact analysis how pandemic affected trading and cryptocurrencies. At least I haven't come on anything like that. There are many studies and estimations how pandemic affected economies but no one is dealing with crypto market and that is not the only case where we lack figures and studies.
So, I guess everything depends on our own impression and assesment. I would say that there is kind of impact of pandemic on cryptocurrencies trading but it's really hard to define its nature.

^ Probably there is but only a small part that has an effect if we noticed that bitcoin price continued rising up despite the COVID 19.
But that correct, that was remain theory because we don't see any support that they really have a correlation between trading and the COVID 19. So probably that was a coincidence of dropping the price because as we see we don't have to feel too much downtrend during the first week of COVID 19, there is a small correction but it was resisted after few days.

True! Coronavirus brings both positive and negative effects on the cryptocurrency market. I can't stand watching people say that our market isn't affected by the global pandemic. That's ridiculous. There's no market can get rid of these effects from the global economy. Everything is connected in some ways. True! Coronavirus brings both positive and negative effects on the cryptocurrency market. I can't stand watching people say that our market isn't affected by the global pandemic. That's ridiculous. There's no market can get rid of these effects from the global economy. Everything is connected in some ways. Obviously, our cryptocurrency market is not being affected as much as other markets but it doesn't mean there's none!
Can you give an example what negative effects the Corona virus on the Crypto market? I think it just gives a positive side to the Crypto market. Because people start to stay at home so that makes them bored and confused about how to make money, so they learn Crypto trading or learn various knowledge about Crypto world.

Well if you look at it, Then yes. It does affect the market. Why? because of people finding new ways on earning money at home while on quarantined. So they stumble over Cryptocurrencies which is an ideal investment if you are just at home finding something to earn money.
Thats true, when people are looking for opportunity to earn online crypto is one the option that might interest them. So if they engage themselves in crypto and start investing that will reflect to the market. The virus doesnt have direct impact to trading, it will only reflect to the decision that we made when we sell or buy if ever we need to cash out to buy necessities or invest for future purposes.

Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading?

Is it true that Corona Virus is affecting Cryptocurrency trading? If so then I have some ideas which may help to prepare the vaccine in short period of time to control the Corona Virus. However I am unable to find a forum where I may share my ideas.
It already does mate, the next day after posting this thread?the market fell badly and decreased more than %50 the baddest day we have for couple of years after.

But it is good to see that after few days we have recovered and make a full up to 10k$ level again(but of course did not stay longer then)
But yeah Corona Virus really made really bad in everything in this world, not only for Crypto but in world economy.

You are right, Corona Virus makes many working people stay at home and they are in a confusing state whether how to make money. Crypto market is another source of income and risk with the cryptocurrency is also the same, people who have knowledge towards trading will make a profit through trading.

I was thinking that the Corona virus may lead to decline in the daily trading volume of bitcoin, but your opinion sounds more logical and now I think that there will be an overall increase in trading volume of bitcoin. Also the number of people signing up for trading courses will also increase exponentially because they will try to increase their knowledge and if people related to wall street also start to seek interest in bitcoin then it can also help in pumping up the price of bitcoin.

Corona virus has opened doors for most of the people to learn about crypto and how it works. Yes, it has a big effect on the market but not directly on crypto trading. Good traders are still making profits from crypto market even if the price suddenly dump when they least expect it. But if this corona virus outbreak will still continue, there are still chances that crypto coins will now be affected and might increase or even decrease their value and traders might find hard time to make profits again.

It is certainly true that bitcoin was affected by this corona virus, how could it not be? I mean the whole world and every single human has been affected, maybe not the ones who are doing scientific research on Antarctica was not affected by this but I am pretty sure even though they were safe from the virus itself, the impact of it has impacted them as well indirectly.

By this logic all humans on earth have been affected by corona virus, even if not the virus itself at least the causes of it. Which is why it is normal that crypto trading has been affected by corona virus and all the economical problems it has caused. I hope that people will move over and now that we are doing better financially (at least in price) we will continue this surge and go higher to a whole new level easier from now on out.

For me, Technically it does not have any effect there is no connection between trading and this coronavirus. But it has some effects on some traders, we are in crisis, it concerns about financial stability. I know in some countries they are almost back to normal but in some countries, it is still hard no work no pay. Some traders prefer to use the fund for the expenses of their families than gamble it on trading with no assurance. But I have seen small exchanges are shutting down, maybe because they are only few traders and cannot compete with others so it is better to shut down anyways to reduce sh*t exchanges with fake volume.

Yes the corona virus was really affecting the market but we can still trading as long you know how to make profit with the situation. For now the market is stabilizing so it is good to trade.
Market isn't stable at all in this time as bitcoins are changing a lot hands and a lot of accumulation is going on, bitcoin is preparing for its next move and most probably it will show us a bear market which will make people loose a lot of money if they won't trade with this mindset of a bear market and have a lot of longs open. I myself is having a few shorts still running from $10k price from the past week and I am hoping for the price to fall further in $8k range for an even greater profit.

If you do have an idea for creating a vaccine, then you should look out for the right people. You can look for a way to reach out to the government in your country or those in charge of the health sector. You can then report to them and they will help you to work on a vaccine. Or maybe you can look for to reach out to other bigger organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), that’s if you’re very sure that what you have would work and help in the cure for Covid-19.

And as for affecting trading in cryptocurrency market, it doesn’t only affect cryptocurrencies in trading, every market is being affected. But, I’m happy that they have been able to recover after the heavy decline.

I think, that yes. In a positive way. People who are in quarantine don't know what to do so they are trading. Or they are finding crypto Youtube channels so they are trying to invest in BTC or another crypto as ETH which had quite a good rise. But Bitcoin did well too, cause that fall to 6k USD rose only by 2 months to old prices.

The entire cryptocurrency market has been affected already, the coronavirus pandemic has done much harm to the cryptocurrency than we thought. Many exchanges have been on the low in terms of their trading volumes compared to the era of pre-covid-19. Although, this has not just affected the digital currency but even the stock market was hit hard, we understand that, the cryptocurrency is a volatile asset and with the coronavirus the price was shrink in size.
Though, this is just for a short period of time, when the market regain itself again we all we smile.

The effects of coronavirus pandemic have been observed in all types of trading. The onset of the coronavirus epidemic affected all trading markets and led to a sharp fall in prices. The effects of the coronavirus pandemic have also been observed in cryptocurrency markets, such as various stock and exchange markets. However, after the onset of the epidemic, the cryptocurrency market is now somewhat upward and stable. However, in some cases, trading volume and market volatility exist. So it is true that the effects of coronavirus have greatly affected trading.

opinions that really need to be supported during a pandemic like this, it is also imperative to think about solutions to overcome a pandemic that has taken up a lot of time, energy, thought and not a little money. as long as there are no drugs and vaccines then all will be devoted to the pandemic, because of rapid transmission and many countries have difficulty coping with the pandemic.

trade by itself will run smoothly again when the pandemic has finished. but as long as there is still a clear pandemic many transactions that are clearly disrupted cause trading to not move normally. how people do things but they themselves are filled with fear of transmission, obviously this is very disturbing.

In fact, coronavirus did much harm to every country and undermined their economies, but nevertheless, most countries, and most importantly businessmen and people, managed to navigate in difficult times and found other options to support business and their lives, but the whole system worked a little differently. people went to work remotely, and also found other ways to buy food, things, and other goods in home isolation. The situation is the same with businessmen who complied with quarantine conditions, closed their enterprises and stores, but used online resources and delivery services to continue to work and trade their products. but if you pay attention to the stock market and the cryptocurrency market, then after a slight decline, everything began to return to normal. In my opinion, the situation will even improve, because due to many problems investors will look for alternative investment opportunities. besides, I cannot say that coronavirus harmed the cryptocurrency market.

Guys we can stop talking about corona virus effecting trading because this is July now and even though corona is still out there, the trading world is back to what it was. The only time it was effecting anything was around late march and all of April, by middle of may it started to not really effect anything, not bitcoin, not altcoins, not gold, not stock market, not forex, not oil nothing. So at the end of the day it DID effected things, but right now I do not think it is effecting anything at all.

Definitely, you can make a case about how there are scientists who are saying that we couldn't find a cure which means we will still have a bigger impact later on with a second wave, but that is something that WILL happen according to them and not happening right now so we can't talk about today.

In my own opinion I think that previously the trading development are trapped with more sequences and instantly have a problem before the corona virus attack.Because the yearly financial crisis booming are constantly propagating due to calamity together with climate changes and the investment impact has been suffering.SO I think we have to accept our digital way of life as traders as well we cannot force to prevent this as our individual history.
Since the arrival of COVID-19, all countries with developed economies have experienced a crisis and without the vaccine, the world will never be able to return to the way it was before. In my country, there are millions of unemployed people and I am one of them so I just hope this can end soon. During this time, I can only choose to trade in this market or participate in some bounty campaigns to earn more income.

This pandemic dont have direct effect on trading but it does affect the traders because some of us are struggling to survive during this trying times. We are relying on our other source of income to sustain our needs. If a trader lose his real job, he will count on his earnings here so his trading activities might become frequent depending on the status of the market.

I think this pandemic has slowed everyone down and any decisions made during this time period have been carefully considered. I'm not sure when things will return to normal but surely COVID-19 will live with us for a very long time. Certainly, there will be a lot of people affected and if the psychology is not good, you will easily fail when trading here.

You're probably missing out then. Because the pandemic has affected almost every market (crypto market inclusive). It is currently hampering global economies. Even people who had savings in crypto tend to withdraw it in order to survive as there's no much jobs right now. There was a crypto market crash back in march this year, that crash was caused by people panicking over the pardon. Because bitcoin is still above  $9K doesn't mean it isn't affected by the coronavirus effects.

Almost every country's economy is under threat thanks to the virus it's true that the coronavirus can affect trade and lots of countries around the world are on the verge of shutting down imports and exports. There are many crises within the garment sector including raw materials but the govt is trying to allocate more to the health sector When there's doubt about the assembly of products thanks to lack of staple traders need to take care of exporting it after production This is because the quantity of tourism and shopping is declining in China also because of the global corona spread.
The whole economy is still in a very difficult period and I think it will take several years for this economy to recover. In fact, Covid-19 upset the lives of so many people and all my previous plans were cancelled since the outbreak. However, the most interesting thing here is that the crypto market has not been affected much by this epidemic and this makes me very surprised because until now the crypto market has become better over the past few months.

There is already an effect to the economy more specifically in cryptocurrency market, remember when the coronavirus is still in hot issues and the price of the bitcoin dropped to $3000 per each. That time, everybody is fearful because there is panic everywhere. Not only the bitcoin dropped but the majority of altcoins are also experienced it. Even in indices, there major crashed happened because the global economy collapsed.

Well agreed the whole world economy is struggling to this virus, on the contrary, the affected the most are those traders that cannot sustain their needs during these tough times. Even there is pandemic the brighter side that most of us were able to manage this current situation and still able to do trading. At the moment I don't think that the coronavirus has an effect on trading. However, this might change in the future. We all see that the world economy and market already suffer some consequences due to the virus spread so if this escalates and lasts for a longer period of time crypto market might get affected too. Let's hope for the best that this not happens but on the other side, we need to be prepared in every scenario.

So far this has not ensued. However, since the prevalence of corona is not lessening, frivolity can be announced for sure yet. If it continues like this then trading could have a tragic effect in the imminent future.

This pandemic not only brought a virus but brought drought to the economy of almost all nations around the world. This drought that a pandemic brought has also an effect to the crypto market as we can see crypto itself was struggling to boast its value up to high peak like in the year 2017. But this pandemic brought people also to get more engaged in technology and hope that a lot more have discovered the cryptocurrency and attract more investors.

For me yes it does have an effect on trading people would try to gain while they are force to stay at home for their safety so they might find it a way to earn or be busy while they are staying home.
I have been more active in trading sites nowadays because I don't have much to do so I guess it does have effect on trading or crypto.

The pandemic coronavirus is spreading and the main target of this is the people and cause losing of the economic wealth many people got infected and some of the higher people who are on the top are donated and helps those people. This virus affects the world of trading, no it's not instead it affects the economic growth due to having a problem of import and export the same with the tourism got stop the trading of the money will stop too because they are now preventing the spreading of infection than continuing the work and the economy. Many hoaxes spread rapidly because when the pandemic outbreak starts the price of the bitcoin falls, well this is naturally volatile so it's too hard to say that it causes by COVID too.

Perhaps my thoughts will seem wrong to someone, but nevertheless, in my opinion, the coronavirus pandemic greatly affects the economies of countries, including the value of national currencies. Many investors, as well as ordinary people, in search of alternative assets, pay the most attention to cryptocurrency. That is why the volume of daily cryptocurrency trading has been increasing recently, which indicates an increase in people's interest in cryptocurrency during the coronavirus period.

Many investors, as well as ordinary people, in search of alternative assets, pay the most attention to cryptocurrency. That is why the volume of daily cryptocurrency trading has been increasing recently, which indicates an increase in people's interest in cryptocurrency during the coronavirus period.

I believe in this too.

There is also a thread that explains that investors in that certain country are being interested in investing in cryptocurrencies, mainly Bitcoin. I think that also is an effect of the pandemic and it could be a positive effect of it since more of us are talking about the negative effect of the pandemic we are experiencing now to trading.

Some people are now focus to look for opportunity online. Thus crypto is one of the option that they can grab to start earning.

This virus affect the market negatively at first due to some investors panic selling because of fud, but it didnt last long since the market recover after few days/months.

We are aware that despite of the pandemic it didnt stop people to engage themselves in crypto to look for opportunity. The reason why the number of traders/investors are increasing.

I don’t think your thinking is wrong it’s true that the Corona virus has affected the business. Most of the people are spending their days in despair as everything including business is closed due to the damage to the country's economy. But crypto did not have any effect later everyone is leaning towards crypto and the economy is rapidly recovering and increasing the amount of trade investment.

For me yes it does have an effect on trading people would try to gain while they are force to stay at home for their safety so they might find it a way to earn or be busy while they are staying home.
I have been more active in trading sites nowadays because I don't have much to do so I guess it does have effect on trading or crypto.
There are 2 types of traders who were formed during this outbreak...

- who are increasingly becoming active trading because they 'stay at home'
- stop trading for fear of running out of funds during the outbreak which it is not clear when will end

This epidemic has affected us mentally and forces us to do things that we don't like especially as traders.

People are more concerned about their health ' health is wealth' thus corona virus will definitely affect trading, infected people will focus more getting heal quickly while undergoing treatment in isolation thus there won't any room for trading, many countries had already entered recession thus crippling their economic activities no thanks to this pandemic and many business closed.

This thread has been created at the start of the worldwide infection and spread of coronavirus wherein we have seen a sudden downfall at the prices of crypto currencies in the market but the murmurs have already been settled that there is a quite effect on the market including trading which have already been okay for a couple of months since prices rise up even at the time that the virus is still present. I think there could be a possible effect when it comes to trading for funds of traders are being allotted to health related concerns which can affect the trading market because some or maybe many are pulling out their funds to be able to sustain their needs for medical attention but so far, the effect is not that negative as we can observe for the market is already doing good.

Yes and also, every event will definitely have an impact on trading so it is not surprising when the panic increases they no longer care about the profits and losses with the trades they have done, at least they will immediately sell to be able to secure their money from the market collapse and that is a worry like just happen. The OP wanted to share some of his ideas but unfortunately it didn't say there, I was just wondering what ideas he had regarding the pandemic, vaccines and trading he was talking about.

Bitcoin is stronger than the coronavirusBTC 8) Is not any secret that the FED printed trillions of dollars to support the economy which crashed due to COVID-19. And on the other hand, USDT has been supporting BTC in terms of price from quite a long time. I believe that a new bull run is coming now.

This pandemic affected every aspect of our lives directly or indirectly so trading isn't exception. Some people are more keen to panic, it's hard to predict what will happen and how and traders also feel this insecurity. I don't know if someone has carried out some research about impact of pandemic of crypto trading but I"m sure there are consequences.

I don't see any correlative connection between them, crypto trading will not be affected by coronavirus because we are on digital. There's probably a high chance if that has come from the stock market and it is physically involved. I don't see any valid reason if Crypto trading will affect the world epidemic today. Stay at home and you will be safe from that virus.
I imagine so similarly because it is an online procedure. There is no possibility to effect Covid-19 here. The ups and downs of the market may be expected to something. Heretofore it is not permanent, anything can transpire, but not for the Covid-19.

It simply imply that this pandemic didn't affect the real business small or big business, established or newly raise business. This pandemic left no exception when it comes to a economic crisis and so the online trading were affected too. Cryptocurrency were also affected by this pandemic, as what we have observed on the market on the first semester of this year where pandemic were started to spread worldwide the crypto values were also on its downfall. Its amazing to think how cryptocurrency market manage to get up despite of pandemic.

Bitcoin has laid the foundation for the future of finance. 8) The broader cryptocurrency market is set for a Cambrian explosion of assets and a market comparable to the creation of the internet itself. As COVID-19 acts as a catalyst in the dismantling of old institutions and legacy financial systems, it will pave way for cryptocurrency and tokens to take their place. I believe Bitcoin will be worth more than $ 50,000 after the coronavirus pandemic.

This pandemic effect to trading was been seen by the first of the year, but it is amazing to watch crypto market  get up each day passes even we have facing pandemic crisis today. It is so relevant that every business were been affected by the drought that this pandemic brought, many of small business were declared bankrupt and even some big business were been closed by long time. It is amazingly how cryptocurrency been able to get up, and see how the market get that green lines, indicating positive income.

But rather trade I think hodling is more affected. Trading is not affected in my thinking because the market continues to fluctuate and traders make profit from it but hodling a coin now is risky as price of some coin refuse to go up , if price don't go up hodlers don't make profit.

Wow! This is very much unlikely to occur @OP. It is a lie from the depths of hell. I don't see how this could ever happen. One thing we most know about trading is this, which ever way the news thus go, it's always going to favour one coin or the other.
That's the beauty of trading, it never stops and it just keeps going on and on. What might reduce is the volatility but then, volatility doesn't depend on any pandemic or serious element to either increase or reduce. It depends on individual traders perception of the market and possibly in the course of awaiting news.
Traders have more advantage than most other fields in the cryptosphere as it is a 24hour market and doesn't depend on any physical constraint to run smoothly.

Actually this pandemic made some shake up in the industry in it early stage, we saw those weak hands that couldn't hold their coins because of the fear created from the process. The whales did caused the pandemonium and those newbies with weak hands actually fell into their traps by sell out their stash which was later sold back higher to them.

I my opinion, it can affect crypto trading. Staying more at home or even sometimes, staying at home almost all the time, people start thinking what to do to make money. They Google a lot, and stay online. As the internet has a bunch of information about crypto, many guys can try to get involved in it.

The virus has affected not only business but everything besides factories inside the country may be closed workers may be laid off recruitment may be stopped and salaries may be stopped careful advance preparation is required to avoid such situations. Government support for low-income people needs to be increased even if the expenditure increases the income of the government will decrease the budget deficit will increase further the macro economy will face big challenges in all aspects.
