I seriously doubt bitcoin could get a leeway just because it is digital. People have been doing online shopping for over a decade now and everyone who gets their products with digital payment via online shops can still use their credit cards to pay, so bitcoin is not the only thing that is corona-free payment.

However, it is weird that it was affected, I suppose there are a lot more wall street money involved in crypto than we realized, maybe all of that 20k times was the moment they decided to get in, there are times when they get out and get back in so this was probably some time they got out.

Hopefully, they will realize their mistake and start accumulating more after this but I wouldn't rule out gradual increase instead of all in from them since it is really hard to go all in when you are in that much trouble.

Technically speaking it shouldn't, I mean trading has nothing to do with corona but that is technically. When it comes to emotions a lot of people actually worry that the economical crisis that is about to come because of corona will cause so many horrible situations that we will need A LOT of money to pay for these, I personally wouldn't want it to happen but that looks like the case that is about to happen and that is what people are afraid of as well.

So, when people are afraid that their money will be gone and everything will be more expensive and life will be harder, what did they do? They sold their stocks, golds, bitcoins and everything they had to stay in cash so they could simply pay for stuff with the cash if they ever get any trouble finding money otherwise.

We cannot say that Corona Virus might affect trading because we don't know how big the impact on the crypto market. But if many people in one country have traded in the crypto market, and many of them got infected by the virus, I think they need to recover their health first before they can start to trade again. This virus is been declared as a global cause and even the president of the US declared a national emergency for corona virus. Foreigners are been treated as a threat in each of the nation which is almost loosing humanity. Also corona virus has highly infected the stock markets as well as the crypto markets. People are moving their money out from such markets just to be prepared for what comes next.

I am sure that in the future, we will see a cure for this virus so that many people will get help from the vaccine. I think the market crushing hard because of panic. And Yes maybe corona virus effecting on crypto trading little bit. But not so hard like what we see in the markets.

I also didn't believe initially that the virus could ever affect trade but now truth Coronavirus has definitely affected the whole market and therefore the price of each currency within the market has dropped significantly. In my opinion yes it dose. No doubt this virus effect on hole world economy system, so in my thought of course it dose effect on trading no matter it's crypto or stock trading. Crypto still not use like FIAT money. Clearly still fiat money popular than crypto so if fiat currency strangling for virus than of course it dose effect on trading platform.

People had to prior their needs and health assurance rather than prioritizing their trading carrier. Some areas where safe from the situation might doing it but because of a huge number of an affected individual, we can expect to see like this.

I think investor sentiment is greatly affected by this disease and investors tend to panic a lot during this time. In addition, markets such as stocks or forex are heavily affected and this is definitely a very bad time for investors.

However, if you are holding fiat, this is a great opportunity for you to invest in some cheap coins because many of the coins in the crypto market are very low.

I think by now it is very clear that the COVID-19 is affecting and will affect trading. And the reasons I think this are: most people won't be able to go to work and for those who are self-employed but can't work because of the quarantine no money will be coming in to pay for their day-to-day expenses so saving for investment/learning to trade/trading generally won't be an option for most of these people. On a global scale not having people into work means reduced GDP and thus most countries will hit recession. All of this is bad because there will be not much spending going one, never mind investing or taking higher risks.

At first I've thought that the calamity wouldn't affect the cryptocurrency trading and the whole crypto market at all. Yet recently the market went red, as the virus spreads throughout the globe. Despite the fact that trading crypto doesn't require any physical contact nor done in a certain place where people are crowded, what makes the market itself (the traders) really is a huge factor. And with the calamity continuously spreads, many must be careful first and have their own priorities as well. Some may have still find a way to trade, yet some have different mindsets than the others. Therefore, it had affected it so much.

But, if you still check the cryptocurrency market you will notice that there are still lots of people that are buying, the buying rate I saw on Coinbase today is 72%, so people are still buying. Long term traders (Hodlers) would see this as an opportunity to buy at a low rate.
