There is an almost disturbing downward change in the market price of cryptocurrency, and this is a general problem. Bitcoin as biggest cryptocurrency is taking a huge hit and it is spreading over to even major altcoins like BCH, stellar, litecoin and other promising ones such as Matic, Elrond, Vite etc.

Regardless of the negatives that people have about crypto in general, there has been many bears like this and the market has come back up. I strongly believe that the market will definitely come back green and that now is the time to fill the bag and acquire these coins on the low.

Picking the new coins at this situation to invest is not a wise decision to be honest because even if a project has great fundamentals and high chances of getting valued if the there is a trigger on bullish trend but now they might die with the sudden crisis so stick with btc or other major altcoins.

Time to buy as Bitcoins as much as I could, there wouldn't be any chances like this so better gear up and make some good portfolios put there. I am aiming to buy top altcoins aside from Bitcoin, be careful for the new projects everyone as it may die in contrast with current market. By the way does anyone knows why is it like this? Some how whales are the one who will be eagerly waiting to fill it, the market has been bombarded already and I hope it will bounce back in some days.

The most current strategy I think is a long-term investment, because at this time we are in the year - 1 mega bull run. By choosing BTC and its hard fork coins, potential altcoins like ETH, XRP, etc. are pretty good choices. This is only a suggestion and there is no compulsion, don't forget DYOR.

Presently I don't think it is wise to fill your bag now,reason being that this sudden fall in bitcoin price is still headed in a direction no one can exactly tell,so I think what is best is to hold on a little longer to ascertain which way forward before buying some coins but for bitcoin one can begin buying in bits

Personally, I wait for the double digits on ETH and will add more if the price touches the $60. There is a room for the more price swing in the bear trend and the broken wedge pattern suggests waiting for the settled dust. We can not expect to trade stable markets while other financial markets are in a bloodbath.


I have analyzed this project and bought a small bag. Only 2 exchanges(Livecoin and Coinall) supports the XNS/BTC pairs, I will buy more if the price goes under $0.02. Its potential is undervalued like all other promising projects.

Like I said in the post there is no doubt, the market will come back up.... However, the decision to capitalise on the current market trend is a big move that will change lives. To go in it not! Lol

I believe it is really difficult to loose your investment in crypto when you buy on the low. Most investment losses are triggered by FOMO when the prices are high up!  Of course like you said, there is no indication when the RED will stop. However, almost all major coins have done halve or even more than halve of their prices. Even if it ever goes down any further than now, it will come back and do more than whatever price you buy now. The time of course is probably not now

It is a good time to buy since coins have dropped to a low and there are less opportunities like this in future where prices will come down this much. Then we also can be somewhat sure that the reason for the drop was the virus panic and not any other reason. It will get better with time and the situation will improve with time.

Btc movement is quite hard to predict for now, and the resistance and support are totally useless as its bypass the technical aspect. well I think now is the right time to enter cryptocurrency because the price at the current exchange is very cheap and you should be able to take advantage of moments like this to be able to buy as much bitcoin as possible, because it will usually bounce back because halving will happen in a few months.

Bitcoin hit 4k before I doze of last night, making popular coins loss 99% value, it's been long since crypto market gets this lower, EOS at 1.8$ NEO at 5.6$ and even ChainLink loses 99%, those who aren't worry about the panic and buy now will make lots of profit

Trying to invest on new altcoins right now is not a wise move, if Bitcoin falls further many new altcoins will be ruined or die, be careful which coin you will buy and hold from now on, this is not a good time to buy less popular coins

This dip is a good opportunity to buy more coins. I am also planning to buy xrp, trx, eth and other coins today. Even if I am now deficit because of this bear market, I understand that this is also a good time to buy more coins. Actually, there are lucky ones who bought bitcoin below 4k and now it is already in the 5400 mark. Not even 24hrs, and they already got large profit out of it. Short-term trading in bitcoin and you are already a winner. Long-term investments are only good if you can afford to keep your portfolio longer without encashing it.

Didn't expect this drop to be really that terrible that some atlcoins were red with about -60% I wouldn't really dive to fill my bags as well because there is still a threat like the coronavirus and what they are saying about the impending recession. I would probably wait until China releases their digital currency before investing again.

I agree. Even the top 100 is struggling to grow in price when Bitcoin is not moving. I'd say pick the altcoins that is at top 100 except for those hard forks. This is probably one of the best opportunity to buy more cryptocurrency since 2018 because of how low the price is. Exactly, no one can expect what will happen in the future but it doesn't really matter when you are thinking for the long-term hold. Bitcoin reach $10,000 multiple times, why would you think that it wouldn't reach that price again? when this is all over, you'll regret buying at this price. Also, even if Bitcoin were to fall below $5,000, why would you think it will it will not go up? remember in 2018 that Bitcoin almost reach $3,000 but still reach $10,000 this year. Don't let fear control over you and just think long-term investing.

well, if you doubt you better be able to secure your assets and get out of the exchange for a while but I'm sure it will only make you lose because you do not take advantage of good opportunities like this to be able to buy coins at cheap prices, for example bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin when this can have a good chance of making a lot of profit.

For short term basis, I supposed. However, for long term basis I do/everyone think that this current market condition is a great time for us to buy some crypto, dig in 'cause for sure anytime soon it will going back to what it was. Anyway, as for picking up a coin which to root one, may be those on the top spots in cmc will be good enough for you. wait a minute, friend, it is still doubtful to fill our portfolio. because starting from 2018 the crypto market fell, the stock market also fell and until now it has not risen again. coupled with the corona virus issue which has not been resolved in my opinion is not the right time to start investing. so it will be better to wait for the situation to get better and we can only start investing again. because in the midst of this negative issue, definitely the purchasing power of crypto is much lower and the selling power will be higher.

We are at a point when everyone talks about Warren Buffet. Dude is basically the king of "buy when its low" type of strategy.
He always bought stuff depending on the situation of companies finances, so if a company was undervalued for what is profiting, he would buy a ton of stocks from it. Dude literally paid out a banks whole debt in 2008 in exchange of some interest, have you ever heard of someone who is so rich that dude literally paid out a banks debt, that much rich he is, but he got so much more money back for it that bank tried to buy it out but he didn't allowed them and rejected and just collected cash.

Today is the day you can become Warren Buffet as well, not as rich as him of course but you can at least do something he would do if he was in your shoes.

Those who are deciding to buy at the dip have already considered all of the possibility to get the risk from the market. I think that they aware about what they must be doing when the market was also facing the bearish trend. The downward trend of the market is indeed disturbing. I'm unperturbed because I know its a norm in the cryptocurrency space. In fact we are all aware that one of the most pronounced characteristics of the industry is volatility. Some persons are of the opinion that the reason for the massive decline is due to the issue of corona virus. I'm yet to understand how corona virus was able to affect this cryptocurrency space to this extent.

For me, this is the time to buy some crypto because the price is affordable. Also buying crypto right now is can give you good profit once there value rise again, for now we should wait and buy as much as you want until it's price is falling and affordable. And after that we should aware of the situation of the market and always monitor to know the current situation.

May be it's a good time fill the bag but you also should aware that some projects will never recover from this situation because those have no utilization. It's better to do some good analysis before jumping into any coin.

Up and down are the two directions the market price of an asset can move to. Now I see people find stagnant prices disturbing, downward prices disturbing. I mean what else do these people want? Always going up? Nope that wont happen. It would be better for such mindset people to just stop trading for some time.

Actually the volatility is a measure with respect to time. If you see pre-January2020 prices and compare that to 2019 prices the volatility is on average less than 5%. Such incidents happen once a while. Hence it is wrong to use this price drop to call something too volatile because it is actually not so.

You're right mate, one of Warren Buffet favorite way is "being fearful when others are greedy and being greedy when others are fearful. I think that strategy explain perfectly the condition of cryptocurrency market when there is either bear or bull. Whenever there is bear and downtrend in cryptocurrency, you'll see people panicking and selling off their holdings which will definitely be in loss as well when there's bull and sudden price surge, you'll see people rushing to get in and take position which will enventually fire back when market experience a little correction because they entered when the price was high

Now the market is back down, if yesterday didn't have time to buy it now is the right moment to buy it before the price rises again. I'm sure approaching halving happens or after that bitcoin will rise again, so don't waste the opportunity to buy cheap.

Indeed, this is a perfect time to buy and dont wait for the market to recover before buying because its always best to buy in dip. We might not know when will crypto going to recover due to the current issue that we are facing and even the upcoming halving is not a guarantee now for the price of btc to surge. Everything that happen is unexpected and we didnt see this virus to affect the market big time. Definitely not all of us since not all of us sees the same status of the market, some would say it's a bad market and they'll panic, while some would say its an opportunity for us to buy cheap bitcoin and altcoins.


Hopefully the price will be able to recover soon so they'll realize they let themselves miss an opportunity.

Specifically bitcoin has survive all the bubble doubters has speculated to be the end of the market, this crash in my opinion is just a blessing in disguise as it present an opportunity for late coming to get their hands on some quality cryptocurrency before the price get out of reach for the average individual to afford them in whole instead of buying fractions.

The dip also present opportunities to old members to refill their bags and for traders to take advantage of (leverage on) the massive price difference the market will be experiencing this period. Although as an Investors/trader, you have to be cautious with the investment decision you'll be making this period to avoid falling victim to scam.

Most project won't recover from this set back (especially altcoins having similar ideology) as only those with great marketing strategy will survive. Just having a brilliant idea isn't good enough as you have to be able to convince the community to put trust in your project which can only be achievable through marketing.

I can't agree any more :). Buying coins as much as we could is the best option for us right now because we can surely make some profits when things go in normal. Just be careful on the coins you are hoarding, "choose your own poison" like other says :D. Bch, Stellar, ltc are good choices but the other "promising" coins you mentioned such as Matic, Elrond and Vite I think you should double think. If you are just a hodler then don't do it, only daytraders can fully harness such more unstable coins.

That is how I see it for now.

I am buying Ethereum as of now as I had saw it increase for $100 more in just a small amount of time.
Cannot afford much bitcoin for now but I do want it if I could make profits out of bounties and also from trading altcoin.
It will be a good idea to keep them by now and then maybe sell after the halving.

I think it is, because when a deep fall down of prices occurs, it's a very good time to buy more coins for future investments. Bitcoin is good because it increased its volume in the market this year, so if the price goes down so deep, its a good thing to buy more bitcoin to be able to earn big profits in the long run.

If the choice is in bitcoin I agree, because the best coins in crypto history are bitcoin not altcoin, so if someone takes the opportunity to buy a lot of bitcoin when prices fall too deep, then that is very good, because bitcoin can recover in a matter of days.

The bear market opened up opportunities for bagging of coins but it was only for those who understands what crypto is all about and the type of coins that are likely to grow again once the market starts improving and as such the likes of BTC and ETH took the lead. There is an agenda to keep Bitcoin at a low price because the whales are filling their bags and using altcoins and DEFI to do it. DEFI and oracles are the rage right now so am filling my bags and riding the DEFI train tog row my capital and using some of my trading gains to invest also long term in coins like ADA and ERD for example. I also like staking coins and BAND AND KAVA are performing very well right now. I see both of these coins in the top 50 marketcap in a few weeks. If BAND ever hits 30 dollars, that's ten bucks a day passive income just form staking it. Grow not only the bag, but the passive income along with it.

Well, for now, personally, I would not choose bitcoins to put in my bag. although the potential to ride was still very high, I felt like I was late for the train. It's not a good time to buy bitcoin now because the risks is too high, the only option left is to go with altcoin investment since bitcoin dominance is still pretty high altcoins won't have a chance to surge anytime soon, they are still not overpriced right now and the risk is pretty low too, that is if you go with popular altcoins
