No amount scammed at the moment but potential buyers of this token should do their own research first. Their Universal Crypto Investment Fund (UCIF) scheme doesn't require large sum of money to invest so they are targeting small time crypto users here but with fake profiles published, are you going to trust their business model?

Good catch, it's already 2020 and these crooks still thinks they can get away with it by posting fake or stock images. Crypto community are getting smarter nowadays and DYOR is still very effective method in catching this scam projects. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole white paper is plagirised too.

The published photos of their team members come from various websites...

All published photos are stock images and are included with the site template. I myself have encountered this "team" many times and already recognize them without identification)

https://i.ibb.co/cwbTVMV/3423243.jpg (https://ibb.co/jzV4sBs)

But in any case, this is a red flag when a team uses fake photos of their team. Their thread  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165863) has been on this forum since July 2019. And in the original topic, it was stated that this project is a HYIP, this was saved when quoting the project Manager, but was later deleted by him:

This Smart HYIP ROI Dapp essentially allows the participants to stake TRX and earn dividends and generate referral commissions without having to trade or gamble.
did u know , HYIP Is same with gamble
even more risk than gamble i guess, since we have no control where our money going.
even if u know who is a team, its not guarante HYIP investement will make some profit to you,
one i know, the first who come and it be the first who leave.

UCIF is now on Ethereum! https://ucifeth.tech/
ICO begins on April 15 to July 15 2020. ICO price per token is set to 0.0001 ETH and will immediately be available to be traded on a decentralized exchange after the ICO period or bought back from the Buyback Pool.
Register at https://www.ucifeth.tech/dashboard/public/login to buy the token

Given these facts, I believe that this ICO is questionable and we need to stay away from it. Scammer profile tagged.

Many of these projects have no original ideas - more than 15% have copied ideas from other cryptocurrency, or even plagiarized supporting documentation.  Scammers have indeed used ancient tactics and new technology to deceive their victims, but this is not able to fool the senior crypto.  for those of you who just joined the world of crypto, I suggest that you be more careful before you take on a new project, so you avoid scam projects.

I thought scammers are getting smarter, but nope.
They should have known the there are users that will try to search the authenticity of their team.
They want to collect money here so obviously we need to check the background of their group.
Using fake profiles is already a warning that they might be here in short term, maybe after collecting a handsome amount of money from gullible users.

Hope I can help. I'm not the developer. I'm the creator of this project.

I came up with the idea last year. A few weeks ago, I found and hired a developer from fiverr.com to build it: https://www.fiverr.com/dineshtech

I too was surprised to see the same profiles. When the product was delivered, there were some technical issues that needed to be addressed first before making this project public. Now that everything was fixed and working perfectly, I will bring this issue up with the developer.

Please take a look here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177550.0

I have already found simillar case in the past and it was pretty much same like this project. Its a common ICO template and some scammers are trying to make investors fool by using these stock images on their team section.

Most interesting part is that they have already made their ANN on bitcointalk with fake team photos. User profile tagged from my end and waiting for proper explanation.

I will suggest @OP to add this archive link of current ANN thread.

That is nothing like my project. Maybe the developer I found and hired to build it, is the same one but it's nothing alike. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get scammed from my project. All transactions on the DApp uses MetaMask smart contracts (staking and withdrawals). There is no human interaction. After the ICO, you can buy the tokens on a dex or the token sale at $0.019 USD during the ICO.

We have no intention to spoil your projects reputation rather than saving investors from getting scammed. Based on current scam accusation and all evidences your project is completely a trap for crypto investors. I don’t think your developer is the all in all for you project then why did they used team pictures by their own. Project ANN have already been done and still you wanna say that you haven’t done anything wrong and everyone should trust you. How funny!

We are always here to listen from your side. If your project is a legal one then you should provide all necessary details about your team here.

Please don't make unnecessary replies without providing strong evidences to prove this accisation is not right.

You're right. I have no strong about the developer or his team other than the info from fiverr.com.

But after rigorous testing, everything works as described. Since the staking, payouts, and withdrawals are on a dapp with smart contracts, the developer or his team doesn't matter at this point.

https://bamboorelay.com/trade/UCIFETH-WETH

I don't think there has been anything great about being listed on these two exchanges. These two exchange users and volume are very low. And we know how to list a token on those exchange. If you think everyone will buy your token because of the listing on this exchange, then I think that's a bad dream. Because it’s 2020, not 2017.

How many other tokens pay a 1% dividend in 24 hours?

Before publishing the website, one responsibility of the creator of the project is to approve the content of the website.
I don't buy the idea that you don't know that your hired developer created such website without knowing that he will put those same "team" without your knowledge.
It is your project, so you have idea what's going on before he published it.

Given the fact that you are saying staking, payouts and withdrawals are working but for how long? Up until you are collecting some funds from naive users.
If you want to make things right, you will disclose your real team members with corresponding profile links.
You want to run a decent project, then do it right.

edit:

added the ANN archive link. thanks much!
If they are using the same template over and over again, they should know that the team section should be changed to real ones and not using the same photos with fake names. They know this first hand and when get caught, they will blame it to the developer.

You realize you're bumping a scam accusation topic and not an announcement one, and thus keeping it on the first page so that everyone can see and learn your token is a scam, right?  ;D

Great news!
The token has just been listed on 2 exchanges:

https://mcafeedex.com/#UCIFETH-ETH
https://bamboorelay.com/trade/UCIFETH-WETH

I see zero volume, zero orders, zero everything, is the token dead and delisted already, in less than two months?

I don't think so. I got 2 new negative flags today. The poster didn't even bother buying and staking the tokens. Maybe he's afraid that this actually works and he'll loose money if he's backing another project.

When you stake the tokens, you'll begin accumulating dividends at a rate of 1% in 24 hours. You can withdraw the tokens anytime you like and re-stake them or sell them via Atomic Swaps (coming soon.)

I think it's a shame that people don't see a good opportunity just because of a few negative trust marks without even trying the platform for themselves.

Where are the posts from people that say "Tried the out and it doesn't work. SCAM!"  NONE.

I've told you before to stop this kind of promotion. In this way, those who are new can step into your trap. What can be expected from this project if your full team is fake? I am well aware of the purpose of such projects. Your buy wall type promotion will not attract anyone, because they have seen such promotions before and have lost their funds. The whole thing is promoted so badly that even the sock-puppets being used to promote this trash have no idea how badly they are negatively impacting it.

Thankfully this scam will not find many victims and just as you said this scammer is trying so hard to sell his trash-coin he forgot that no matter how hard he used sock-puppets to push this scam he will not be able to find many victims because people will not be convinced to fall for scams so easily now.
