There are a lot of project who try to raise the fund for the development of the project.

If you interested you can check one by one, but you need to know how to differentiate the project scam and legit project, you can use the search feature to know it (there are some guidelines to know it)

Be carefull as well with new project, the project may got hype and make its price is up drastically but don't be happy of it because the pricr mostly will decrease in a few times.

Blockchain tech might really get some traction or attention now but it doesnt mean that it would heavily affect crypto market as well.
I know that you do have that thing in mind which i can say that there's not much effect since people would really be focusing more into
those blockchain project that had been implied but well there might be some curiosity of others which would lead them here on crypto

You can check promising ones - like how long is the thread, if the project is already listed and what is its current trading performance, actual status of product/services development and other aspects of the project.

In my opinion, new projects could also the best option for getting rekt in this market.
I don't want to happen what happened in the previous bull run, where most of the ICO is already lost now, almost 80% - 90% lost from their all-time-high price.
But still, there is nothing wrong with seeking a new project, there are still some of them who are legit but for sure, you have a low chance since for me, like out of 10 new projects, maybe there are 2-3 are good and legit.

I have to disagree with what you said. The newer projects are unlikely the best option, they should be the ones that investors must try to avoid because the scams for new projects are rampant and chance of being successful during the presale is low.

Investing in the new projects will depend on the investors if they will invest or not. But, I know how risky it is. We are all aware that many of the new projects are scams/failed that's why investing in the new project is like playing gambling which is too risky. You get it, there are some projects that seem to be good but later on, they ended up on being bullsh*t project. I know the struggle of finding decent projects but why would you just waste your time on finding if you can now invest in good cryptocurrencies that are capable of bringing you an income. Not all new projects that we see are the best option for the investment but like they just the best option to waste your money.

You are right OP, day by day we see the great advancement of blockchain technologies and it even uses in different sectors of industries. That's the primary purpose of blockchain advancement, to help and develop various sectors. People are expecting so much on advancement to alleviate their lives and I think that's the reason why they are also expecting on the blockchain.

The first 3 newbie account that commented on this thread are all a shill poster of WEMIX project. I believe this is against the rules in the forum but I will leave others to take precautionary action on this kind of scheme.

But answering the question. There is no new tech blockchain available in my opinion. All new blockchain base project to solve scalability are all copy cat and recycling other ideas to gather funds then develop the project in slow pace and once the investors left. They will exit the project and leave proxy team member. Still BTC number 1!

What you need to do to use a reliable source like icodrop to get a good (mostly it's not about blockchain project but DeFi). The majority of people have been aiming to join in the IEO to get more guarantee for instant listing for the token.

If you care about your future in investing crypto, you better not to risk your money in new projects that don't have a working product because it many cases and usually happening today, it sent you back nothing but a loss.
Last 2017 is just hype and that it makes the price goes high and it boom. But what next? Has it gone long? It drops like lightning and many people are suffering a big loss because of their wrong perspective. Maybe we should think about it and that new projects today are full of scam, yet to find legit but only a few of them.

Spot on there are lots of project announced on daily basis just check the Ann section of this forum but majority of these lack innovation. Also for quick pump and dump just take a peek on the binance launchpad

A good project must have funding but no premine.
Devs must be fully transparent but the project must be decentralized.
Coin allocation thru consensus must be fair such as proof of work.
The use case must be real and no marketing gimmicks like scalability etc etc...

Obvious reason is making more money in short time but is there any project giving yields to their investors? 90% or even more of the time you will completely lose the invested capital so its better to buy reputed cryptos and hold them in long term to make realistic amount or returns.

You've got a point there but it is so rare to find that kind of project nowadays because most of the projects before that are good are lacking of funding that's why they stopped. Investors are really trying to find these things but due to the nature of humans some of the most and promising projects were failed to finish because of the greediness of those devs.

These can be classified with this one;

Legit project - Failed sale or support
Legit project- Succeed on sale - Failed to deliver or finish the roadmap and just simply make money which do ends up to be not worthy on longer aspect
Fake project - Succeed on sale specially when hyped up and lots of them are flying around.

Therefore, choosing the best one is really a pain in the ass.

i think you are wrong op . investing in traditional cryptos are the one that is profitable compare to new ones  . i mean im referring to btc , eth and others . i assume thats what you mean when you say traditional cryptos and new projects are those ieos and icos . there are sucesful ieos and icos too but the success rate is slimmer compare to older cryptos. profit also takes time on newer projects because they are new anyway , it means they still need to build trust or reputation to gain investors

If me i will be more in old crypto, well maybe it is like we need time for price to increased, or maybe small profit. But it is already listed in market so i wouldn't need to worry if want to sell my coins if i must sell it. I agree with you. many people are more interested in coins that already have high trading and large markets for the long term. and some may prefer daily trading with a small profit on new coins that are already registered on the exchange.

Not everyone really gets into crypto just so they could make more money, some people just want to keep their savings in crypto because they believe it is a safer option. You could have fiat as much as you want but the truth is some legal changes could mean you could lose all of it, stocks could fall, forex could change, hell even real estate could be taken for some legal reasons, which means even if it is a very very very very tiny chance there is still issues with it as long as its centralized.

That is why some people prefer blockchain and bitcoin, they want to simply just keep their money to themselves where nobody could touch it, and not just in the way of not taking it, I could simply bury my money 6 feet deep and as long as nobody knows it that means nobody will touch it, but more in the sense that government actually changes the value of your money as well, in bitcoin there is no government.

So far I did not have any eyes on new project if what you mean is fresh release. But Im thinking that the cosmos project will shine its light this year. This project has a lot of potential and been traded on many exchanges. Also incorporated on some third party app like Imtoken and many more.

Also looking forward too with harmony progress. I know their project gone down on the market but its the project platform and its use case is the important part of the development. Well, in terms of investment might be a good one for a quick results but the risk is also the same if you don't have enough knowledge about it. So basically trading and finding a good project to invest is almost just the same but they have factors that could distinguish between them as an investment. The reason why people look for new project is that is has a good prospect of giving out huge return on investment unlike coin that has pumped 5X,10x before, but there are still good projects in the space with great potential for growth that are greatly undervalued, most of the new projects in the space are IEO and just pump for a month or so then dump unlike before when you hold on to your tokens and return 20X or more for investors

First of all, if you think people are trying to get financial freedom by investing on bitcoin, then no, you are wrong. Most of them are doing this just to earn some money.
Secondly, new projects are not the best option for investment. Highly likely those new projects are going to be just some scam project that you see everyday.
I would advice you to go with bitcoin and other well known  altcoins, even if its hard to get return of your investment. At least you won't get scammed.

There is definitely a risk about trying something new in your finances about freedom in the blockchain but we still have to look to the front of how to use the blockchain profitably and that is what they want now.

WEMIX seems to be a potential project and I think it is worth trying to speculate on it shortly. I really like projects or organizing events for their community. because my opinion is that the community will determine the life of the project. Therefore, I am quite impressed with the community at WEMIX for their enthusiasm. This is a project worth investing in.

Actually, I think it was much worse before,,, remember we had 1000s coming out before and only a few still survived (and to me that did not make them NOT scam, they are almost zero with no use many of them now even though listed and trading). At least now you have some projects coming and not making a raise.

If I were you I would not look for other investment, we already have the best altcoins and bitcoin in the market, we can choose what to hold and hope that their demand will grow significantly in the future. It will happen because we are all here crypto believers and that's the reason why we are holding, it will take time but I am sure its worth it.

This is just an assumption without any valid reason because if you assume that bitcoin is a traditional cryptocurrency and from bitcoin it is not too hard to get good returns for your investment, then you must be complete wrong. This assumption could be right but not in all the cases especially with bitcoins. At the same time, new project may give you more profit compared to bitcoins in a given time frame but if you look for periodic returns then bitcoin must be the right option for you.

It means some new project may perform well for some period of time and then it will get dumped hardly. The exact same thing happened with ethreum in recent times and before that litecoins and dash did the same. But, bitcoins will get you at least 10X profits for every four years where no other new project has never done that so far.

I bet that you will get 100s recommendation to go investing with. But hardly 1 or 2 of them may get you good return as you expect. To cover that particular 1 or 2 projects, you must need to invest at least 10 to 20 of new projects (honestly it should not be MISINTERPRETED like one project out of every 10 projects will be performing good), then your returns from one project may not help you to recover all your money, invested on all 10 to 20 projects.

Not all new projects are good for investment. So much altcoin coming into the market it is difficult to say which will be successful in future. After many coins / tokens became fairly popular, they went on to scam investors. So a lot of research is needed to get the right project. A lot of people have gone bankrupt because of the thought of getting rich with new coins. It is very risky to play with new coins.

OP, you got it all wrong because ever since the year 2017 most new projects are not the best option for making huge return because new projects of these days are mostly hype base.

This is also a hype base project mate because there no way a project whose it concept was just to provide safety and privacy through SMS verification, VPN, and proxy services will thrive in crypto market even if it does sooner or later the government will be against it.

The return of investment of traditional cryptocurrencies may be slow and small for you but at least it is not as risky as the others. People learned from their mistake and investing on new projects are very risky. I don't think so, most ICO or IEO projects are now scams. Poloniex yesterday just implemented the first IEO but there were signs of fraudsters. Its a way to different right now. As you observe, most of new projects are not as much as good enough to be the next on the top of cryptocurrency. It's takes a lot of year before they really succesful and new projects are just hype when they're launch in the market but after a several month they going dump already. We can't trust new projects nowadays, it's really tough to choose which one. I suggest just to focus on top list cryptocurrency out there in the market no need to risk in new projects.

I have been participating in a lot of ieos were running on various major platform like gate, binance okex and etc. So far i got sero as my best ieo with 30x retuen from the initial price. We look for new projects for the same reason of analysis and conclusion of the previous projects but how so? That's right and what we really look for is comfort and profit in continuity just like Bitcoin and other projects recognized in the market. Well  i see that there are a lot of new projects that is failed and some of them are really scam and stole the money from the investors.
