If the funds was sent out to an address that you don't own, then I'm sorry. Your funds are now lost. Any idea how your funds got stolen? Where did you actually store your 2FA code and backup phrase? Did you store them on your computer?

Help takes time and work.  First you ahve to learn about hacking blockchain.  I can do if for you.  I ahve done this many time before.

You can find keys to the thief's address here: https://keys.lol/bitcoin/343555098444626868081028077297552883310705979920252801066797023362226037029

Yup, you were cleaned out good... If you did not make that transaction, your funds are gone.

Phishing, malware (on your pc or a script within your browser), a vulnerability (os, browser) or unsafe storage of your credentials are usually the problem.

The thief's transaction is confirmed, so whatever somebody tells you, this means the thefth is irreversible. You can go to the police, but usually they won't even know where to start.
The only thing you can do is look at this thefth as an expensive lesson: buy a decent hardware wallet and move on... Sorry to be the barer of bad news

Sorry. There's nothing you can do to get back your funds. Bitcoin transactions are final and non-reversible. The only thing you can do right now is to delve deep more into security, and make sure this doesn't happen again in the future. Best of luck.

First of all, blockchain can't "be hacked" like RawDog said, nor can you get the funds back through that "keys.lol" website. I'm not sure what's up with the trolling but anyway..

Blockchain Support can't help you, nor can we... if some automated malware got your funds stolen, they're probably gone for good so you can't really do much about it.

As far as I can understand, it wasn't you who initiated the transaction, right? To me it sounds like some automated script that detects Blockchain Wallet login and sweeps the funds out of it. If it was automated, then it means you most likely had a malware on your PC either through browser plugins or infected downloads..

That's the thing with Bitcoin - nobody controls it so we can't do much especially as it wasn't some kind of mistake we can help you with.

It's hard to take the loss but man yourself up and move on - it could happen to the best of us.

EDIT: oh God, the shitposting is moving on to a new level every day..

Go to ipleak.net and see what your IP is.

In the authorization e-mail from Blockchain (by the way, I'd personally advise you to remove that image from the OP or to at least censor the IP shown in it), can you confirm that the IP you have just verified with ipleak.net is the same as the one in your e-mail?

If not, you might have authorized someone else's login instead of yours.

EDIT: I just saw the other information in the picture (Windows 7 & Chrome v8), it looks like it's your own fingerprint according to the OS and browser seen in the pic so yeah, that should be some malware ..

I'm pretty sure you can't do anything anymore. It wasn't the wallets fault in the first place, so you can't exactly ask for help in their customer support. Your account was basically accessed from somewhere else and probably because of a vulnerability in your system. I suggest checking your pc out just in case. The thief may be able to access more information of yours if left alone. The only thing you can do now is start over tbh. Just like what others have said, use a hardware wallet instead next time. Especially since the number of coins you have was pretty high. Goodluck though.

I did a search about the address 1EvVR9JcUGvP2S9bHKvs7EzkoeXR12NTyS on bitcoinwhoiswho.com and it seems that the scammer had stolen around 2.6 BTC/about 23,355 USD.

https://bitcoinwhoswho.com/address/1EvVR9JcUGvP2S9bHKvs7EzkoeXR12NTyS (https://bitcoinwhoswho.com/address/1EvVR9JcUGvP2S9bHKvs7EzkoeXR12NTyS)

This address can be reported as scam on bitcoinwhosiwho.com,but additional evidence is needed, like screenshots, type of scam, etc.Perhaps OP can provide this info and report their address as scam. The stolen bitcoins most likely will never get returned, but other people should be aware about this scam.

It's a good idear to mark the address as scam, aswell as going to your local police and create a complaint. However, don't get your hopes up: the odds of actually getting your BTC back are very small (allmost nonexistant). Only if the scammer is caught and your local police is informed and connects this information to your legal complaint, you have a small chance of getting a small part of your funds back. If the thief mixes, coinjoins or exchanges to a privacy coin using an on-the-fly swap-site, the police won't even be able to follow the fund's trace, and if they ever catch the guy, odds are they'll never be able to pinpoint you as a victim.

Like it has been said before: it's more important NOT to trust your pc and learn the (expensive) lesson this ordeal has taught you. You should consider your pc to be infected, if you're not an expert there is no way of knowing if the thief installed other malware, disabled certain services, stole private info,... My best advice would be to start from scratch: clean OS, virusscanner, firewall + hardware wallet. You should never install any illegal or unknown program, script, plugin,.. on a PC that's being used for financial transactions (including crypto wallets), you should keep the attack vector as small as possible by only installing the binaries you truely need, and you should keep everything patched (and remove any app that's no longer actively supported).

There's nothing you can do here than just stop using the wallet because either your computer has some sort of spyware on it or someone got your keys. You have to store your BTC in a more secure wallet like Electrum or Hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S. Just don't try and use same PC because you're not sure of how the hack happened yet.

Unfortunately now you can only cry and wonder why you keep so much BTC on online wallet. That you were aware of the risk posed by online wallets then you would install at least some desktop wallet (for free), or invest $50 in hardware wallet.

Possible ways someone hacked your account is via phishing (you click on fake blockchain site), or you download some malware/keylogger and all your passwords (including one for e-mail) has become compromised.

i setup anew windows and maked anew blockchain wallet and I hope from any one here to find a solution and send me the stolen fund

My advice to you is to stop use the online wallets, have you not learned anything from this? As most have said, only the one who stole your funds can return them, but it's something that doesn't happen in crypto world.

Use Electrum wallet and create a watching-only wallet on your desktop https://bitcoinelectrum.com/creating-a-watch-only-wallet/ (https://bitcoinelectrum.com/creating-a-watch-only-wallet/). That will let you give people your bitcoin addresses without risk of malware stealing your private keys or seed phrases, i.e. your bitcoins. Watching only wallet does not contain the actual bitcoins (the private keys), only the addresses.

Then get a computer that doesn't have any internet connection and create a cold storage wallet with Electrum. Since it has no internet access it can keep the private keys (your bitcoins) there. https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/coldstorage.html

And get electrum from https://www.electrum.org

If you're going to hold that much amount of bitcoin, mate just spend the $70 and go buy a cheap Ledger Nano S[1]. It's a small price to pay for your security. This is definitely something you don't want to cheap out on.

Marking the address sounds a good idea however the scammer can easily transfer it to other address, a new one and just send it to another using btc mixers. The odds of recovering the funds is pretty impossible, and I doubt a police complaint would do so much for you coz I don't know how the police are going to locate the suspect for just using the address, they need to speak first with the cyber crime operatives for that.

Like it has been said before: it's more important NOT to trust your pc and learn the (expensive) lesson this ordeal has taught you. Random hacking like this is probably because of unsafe and unsecured web browsing, this is a form of malware attack that has been downloaded to your device without you noticing it. This maybe not a good time to give you hopes anymore, that was embarrassing but you have to deal with it and move on afterwards.

I will also recommend to anyone that wants to install a bitcoin wallet in a desktop computer to forget about Windows and install one of the many flavors of Linux, Windows is simply too insecure and no matter how good you are you are never going to be able to properly secure it, however for anyone that wants to be absolutely sure that he's securing his coins properly then the best option by far is to buy a hardware wallet, they are fairly inexpensive, easy to set up and one of the fastest ways to secure your coins.

this ^^

You got cleaned up once, and yet again you're going for a desktop wallet... A decent hardware wallet starts somewhere in the $70 range, maybe $140 if you go for a ledger nano X... That's nothing compared to the loss you suffered today. Learn from your mistakes, don't repeat them.

--snip--
Just curious, after how much bitcoins should you consider storing them in a hardware wallet?

My first one was a ledger HW.1, it was dirt cheap (like 20 euro's if i remember correctly). I bought it when i was holding only a couple hundred bucks worth of BTC.
You should consider a hardware wallet as an investment if you're serious about holding crypto. It doesn't matter if you only hold $10 worth of BTC right now, if you're planning on holding more than $500 at any point in the future, you might aswell spend the $70 and buy a ledger or a trezor, it'll come in handy when your portfolio grows.

I'm sorry to say but it's almost certain you'll never see those funds again, I'd recommend never publicising any information about crypto you own online or even the smallest insignificant details like the amount you have, also never ever save your pass phrase or backup phrases on any of your devices, paper is always the best and most safest - I also highly recommend investing in hardware wallets such as a ledger or trezor, I have a trezor personally and it's amazing but like anything, it could still be compromised through many means via the internet and your PC but the odds of this happening are substantially low if you're sensible and security conscious, I do sympathise with your loss and I'm sure you will come to terms to it soon enough.

Completely up to you. Ask yourself, when is spending $70 on a hardware wallet worth it? Personally, the first time I purchase my Ledger Nano S was when I had $500 worth of bitcoin. It wasn't that much, but I was bullish, paranoid, and I knew I was holding for a long time, so I immediately got one.

Help takes time and work.  First you ahve to learn about hacking blockchain.  I can do if for you.  I ahve done this many time before.

You can find keys to the thief's address here: https://keys.lol/bitcoin/343555098444626868081028077297552883310705979920252801066797023362226037029

I somewhat love this kind of sarcastic response.hmmm

@OP if you do believe that your account is secure and this thing happened? then pretty sure that you have leaked out those important account information towards that wallet.
Need a help? No one can help you out because once it had been transferred to another wallet then theres no way you can get it back.

It's not like OP is guaranteed to win the raffle, right? Assuming OP wants to buy bitcoin again soon, it'd probably be best to just spend the measly $70 rather than OP hoping that he actually wins the 1/100 chance.

I am sorry but I think there's no way to get back the money you have lost, once bitcoin or other cryptocurrency has been sent you cannot get it back because it is not reversible. I've been hacked once and scammed once so I made these things as my lesson because I tried the unfamiliar websites that offer good investment, it offers to make your deposit double for only 24 hours so I became interested because I want to make more money as soon as possible. I've made a wrong thing because I did not check the website first or read some reviews about it so I get scammed.

I hope the thing that happened to you will serve also as a lesson, there are so many things that could happen in a simple action always be careful in this virtual world where hackers and scammers are always there.

It really sucks to see that people still use this sketchy service. Web wallets have never and will never be secure.

Use this as an expensive learning opportunity and get into more secure ways if storing crypto. I'd highly recommend paper wallets and not hardware wallets unless you need to spend your bitcoins all the time.

I know not as good as the ones you listed but still it is a starting point at the very least.

Free raffle for a keepkey still some spots left to enter.

It's not like OP is guaranteed to win the raffle, right? Assuming OP wants to buy bitcoin again soon, it'd probably be best to just spend the measly $70 rather than OP hoping that he actually wins the 1/100 chance.

There should not be any debate at all about it, now OP has learned from the hard way, if he had spared just few dollars to buy a hardware wallet he would have been spared from this pain and disappointment,  only a miracle can help him recover his funds back which I doubt will happen,
0.3btc stolen compare to $70 to buy a hardware wallet which would have been better!
Now he is aware of taken security seriously, @op sorry you lose your funds but i hope you will take advice and go buy a hardware wallet.

What's the hell going it’s very sad. From my friend something another way 2800$ stolen in blockchain wallet. Someone try to make a deal with BTC against USDT, this guy sent first and received without any problem even though this transaction checked by blockchain explorer than my friend also sent him. But after 5 mins his wallet is empty. It’s lost so will never possible to recover.

Use Electrum wallet and create a watching-only wallet on your desktop...
Then get a computer that doesn't have any internet connection and create a cold storage wallet with Electrum. Since it has no internet access it can keep the private keys (your bitcoins) there. https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/coldstorage.html

You have actually reversed the order in which a cold wallet should be made. First you need to create a standard wallet on airgapped device, and then use master public key to create watch-only wallet on online device.

what is the best secure wallet can i setup on desktop computer ?
If you're going to hold that much amount of bitcoin, mate just spend the $70 and go buy a cheap Ledger Nano S[1]. It's a small price to pay for your security. This is definitely something you don't want to cheap out on.

Even if one uses a hardware wallet, it does not mean that they will be safe from hacking, and by that I mean those users who save their backup in a completely inappropriate way (cloud, email, on PC desktop ...), and those who think that seed words are something that is normal to type around on any site that is asking for that.

Tell someone "buy a hardware wallet and be safe", actually is only a partial advice, you also need to give him advice on how to use it safely.

The possibility of returning the money by the police is very weak. What happened was painful to me. of course i setup anew clean OS .
I recommend you to move from Windows to Linux and buy a Hardware Wallet (preferably Trezor/Ledger as they've been tested and used for a long time already and had their security proven). Windows is less safe and has crappy privacy. If you want to feel safer, learn to use Linux and move to it.

It's a hard lesson you had to learn but move on. My recoveries always overcame the losses.

Never use these online wallets, always use a wallet which u download and where u hold the privat key / seed. Make sure to create your wallet offline so risk to get hacked is way smaller.

Do you think the OP would have avoided what had happened to him if he is been using Linux by any chance? He was using 2FA via SMS, it is possible that the hacker obtained his verification information using the SIM swap technique. Regardless of OS and wallet type, some users are simply not ready to be their own bank. Regarding hardware wallets, I wrote my opinion in a previous post.

Sorry to hear this mate, I remember three wallets of mine got hacked at some point in time. One thing I have realized is that we need to be careful on some sites that we visit especially Torrents. Once I started accessing that site myI think I downloaded a malware alongside a download file. My pc contained my private keys.

As long as you use everything the wrong way, it obviously doesn't matter which OS or wallet you're using. But Linux is not as easy to learn & use as Windows is and ever since I moved from Windows to Linux, I have learned lots of important stuff about the way your behavior could put your PC at risk. Simply the fact that you have to learn terminal commands teaches you a lot.

It was more of an eye opener for me and it's just a friendly advice for him to move on from the privacy-lacking Windows - could be an eye opener for him too! But I guess we're all different :)

That might be the case. But I have to say that blockchain wallet isn't among safest wallets, they had many breaches so far and it's not very wise to keep coins there.
However, I agree that hacker's attacks are getting more and more sophisticated and security it's hard to keep.

Be carefull when you download an application from any unknown site, especially if you save it to your phone. There is nothing you can do, even though it feels heavy just let it go. Because bitcoin transactions cannot be canceled or be reversed,
make this learning be more careful about what bitcoin you have. You should buy a hardware wallet, it will make your bitcoin safer.
And most important now clean the OS and browser that you use.

Ouch, sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Looks like the coins haven't been moved yet. All you can do is just keep on tracking where the funds go until it goes through a mixer (and high chances it will) where you no longer will be able to know where your coins are.
Sadly, this is why most of the people suggests not to use online wallets. But then again, if it was your computer that was infected, so I guess its your fault since you failed to keep your computer clean! Hope you learned a valuable lesson.

Indeed, I am totally agree with you. I am also victim of stolen myetherwallet approximately 55 day ago. I couldn't do any thing just watched that scammer's transactions on myehterwallet. unfortunately I had hardware wallet but didn't transfer my coins to it and I thought I am save but I was wrong.

Anyway if you have more than $1000 in your blockchain or any other online wallet I suggest should buy hardware wallet and transfer them immediately.

Save all you crypto...

really bad that you lost much amount of money in btc but seems you must did some mistakes to use online wallet

I used block chain wallet from 6 years and still not got any issue

as mostly keep small parts of coins in many different wallet ids and never keep all coins in one wallet

moreover never download any suspicious software or male-ware etc in that pc using for block chain wallet

may be you received some fake email from block chain and you click on link inside email which take you to fake block chain website and as soon you put your password in fake website, scammer got info and just able to transferred all your coins

online wallet can be use in safe way but always be careful and never download any files or malware or never use NON secure browser and always keep coins in parts in many different wallets

Some are actually so naive that they are fooled in a completely bizarre way. Let's say someone calls and introduced himself as an employee of your bank, asking that you provide your bank card+PIN because they need to check something. Some people actually fall for that, so we are still a long way from saying that people know how to protect their digital information, specifically what is related to crypto.

What wallet did you use?

He used a special wallet where you just say the magic word and all the BTC move from one address to another - someone unfortunately learned that magic word :o

Seriously, why don't you read the OP if you are interested in this information ???

You can't do a thing to it already as it was already confirmed and transferred, what you can do right now is to make sure that it will not happen again. Install a firewall and be careful with the fishing emails or address so you can avoid this to happen again. It will be good also if you can drop what wallet you are using right now because if you are using a local exchange then you can email the support maybe they can do something about it.

Make sure that you safely put your private keys and no one should know about it aside from you, don't also save your private keys in online so you can lessen the chance that your private keys to be exposed.

Sorry son, the coin is forever gone except the hacker changes his mind. Many users of blockchain wallet have complained about stolen funds even with 2FA. I hope your 2FA is not SMS based but Google authenticator? You need to to clean up your system for possibel virus and void telling people what you do online, and safely surf the internet.

~snip

I think you need to re-examine the wallet or private key that you use, have you ever entered on an unofficial platform (scams). Because so far no one has been able to hack the Bitcoin wallet. If there really is someone who is able to do this, of course they will aim for a high number of Bitcoin wallets.
And there is no solution for returning lost Bitcoin. If Bitcoin is entered in a centralized platform, then the platform owner can still make a return. But if this Bitcoin address is sourced on a decentralized platform, then Bitcoin cannot be returned.

What could be the problem ? has anyone experienced this before.

First of all, you wrote 19 messages to Cex support in 72 hours? They must hate you already. :D

Most exchanges have their api linked to the wallet.

If the database doesn't connect because the wallet is offline or there's no connection between the main server and the machine with the wallet it will send a request but the transaction will not be sent to the network. This may be the reason why coins disappeared from your wallet but are not in the blockchain.

It's a problem of cex support and the coins must still be in their wallet.

Sad reality but its true!
There is no more way to refund your bitcoin if it was lose in your hands. I believe that phishing sites killed his.3 btc. It should be a lesson for all that we need to install anti virus and do not easily click in website bait. Just like what our wallet told to us, our keys in our hands. I'm sorry but there is no way to get back the money that has stolen, the money that transferred to other bitcoin wallet can't get back, how more on the BTC that has been stolen. There are so many cases that happen like this, bitcoin stealing is really familiar in this crypto world because of so many hackers and scammers so always make your account secured, you may use the 2FA and make as well as a strong password. Always be careful when doing some stuff online because most of them are made by hackers and can get information about yours.

Sorry, but those coins are gone.

The pitfalls of being your own banker.

A BIG problem is that some people don't have a good understanding of how a wallet app (such as Exodus or Edge) work.  If a hacker gets access to one of those wallets, they can install it on THEIR device and use it as if its their own.  Even if you are to change the password on YOUR app, it will not affect their installation.  They will still have access to your crypto.  The only safe thing to do is abandon that account and start fresh.

NEVER give out access to anyone you don't trust.

Not saying that this is what happened in your case, but safe-guarding your crypto is as important as acquiring it.

many things cause this. malware, phishing, and others, some cases even lose when they install 2fa. however, I don't think there is another way to return the stolen assets. Next, try using 2fa, and using the latest antivirus, and avoid visiting suspicious sites. I suspect this is the effect of the virus.
