hello, i was wondering if Eos can be a good investment for the future ? what are your thoughts ?

Good coin to invest, they have many Dapps, but you must understand how it works, this is very much different from the Bitcoin or Ethereum, much more like delegated proof of stake coin, so you will have problem trading and withdrawing your coin in case, but definitely this coin has a future.

I don't have EOS and that's why I can't say that much about it being a good investment or not. But saying that every top coin at the cmc are good coins to invest?
I don't think that basing from the rank should be the standard of every investor. There are some projects that's on the top and many will disagree to you about that thing.

EOS has not been in the spotlight recently as it was during the past. Even recent Weiss Ratings favored other peers (ADA,XTZ)....Still, it's a great project if you ask me, just consider also the alternatives...

Unfortunately right now we are having lots of smart contracts (dapps) based the things in the markets which might be working against what we are your expectations on EOS. Yes, BNB could be the future leader among dapps whereas ethereum still staying stronger in this particular segment. So, you can expect lots of competitions among devs to which platform for their token economy.

I heard EOS is backed by Chinese devs which may act like a big supporting thing as per what we had observed with neo kind of China based projects. But clearly for big ROI, must attract investors world wide as just once country will not be enough but China has rapid growth in crypto adopting which may go at any direction beyond our predictions.

So far it has very good liquidity as it was a major coin but the problem in the internal party of EOS itself. It's better to choose another coin rather than this one.

Eos is a good coin, it can give you a good return. It is very popular in the Chinese market, Perhaps this is the reason why it is called the Ethereum of China. But you must need to think that the best coin is Bitcoin BTC

Most people can always relate to top coins or coins within a certian range maybe from 1-20 in coinmarketcap as trusted coins thus good for investment. This is because, it's believed that for those coins to be within that range, means they have something good to offer. In the case of EOS, same can be said about it, good team, good community etc, and since you are considering the future, then it's good for holding but if you are considering short term then you will need to make more research to know if it will meet your anticipation while bearing in mind the crypto space is unpredictable.

EOS blockchain is one of the few best but very hard to understand for newbies, the main problem of this blockchain is how it functions, RAM issues can't be resolved still, I've been on this for weeks now I regret investing on EOS, if the team can just help out here many will be happy, I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing such bug

Exactly what you said. The EOS blockchain is very confusing, so it will be very difficult for new people. So it's not as common as ETH, if you invest in EOS for profit then I believe you can put some capital and buy it

EOS was a good investment opportunity until the developers got greedy and raised over $4 Billion. Considering the last major release was more than 6 months ago if I remember correctly. You should consider other dapps platform alongside EOS to see which one will profit you in the long run.

I don't know too much about EOS blockchain, it seems to be very different from popular blockchains right now. Therefore, I believe that new investors will never dare to invest in EOS. But it is one of the top altcoins in this market, if you have a lot of budget then you should bet on it a little and wait for profit.

Yes, CMC is being "misused" this way. Or, people are simply bypassing their responsibility of doing their own due dalliance by relaying on coinmarketcap. Already lots of complaints are available against coinmarketcap like they are manipulating volume and everything and when a coin is having huge supply then that coin will enjoy top place easily, for example ripple. So, making investment ideas by ranking on coinmarketcap is completely not making any sense anymore.

Furthermore, EOS is having tough alternatives on market nowadays. Smart contracts are no more attractive as IEOs also start facing similar kind of scams how ICO faced. Ethereum enjoyed its stong bull run just because of dapps and ICO but now situation is complete different hence we cannot expect big future for EOS. I have been of the same opinion since EOS's mainnet. I will never prefer EOS long-term, as long as it is so difficult and complex to create an EOS wallet. It doesn't seem right to me that the use of the wallet of a truly decentralized, useful and scalable network requires money. While there is an option like ETH, it is not normal for anyone to really choose EOS.

Moreover, it is not enough to pay when creating the wallet. And if you want to use EOS wallets actively, you have to pay for RAM and CPU. Why should we really prefer EOS when there are easier options like ETH? Is it scalable? It's not that important! I think everything could get worse for EOS after ETH 2.0 arrives.

I agree, it was touted to be a competitor of ETH back then, and if I'm not mistaken, there are projects that move their smart contracts from ETH to EOS, but I don't know what really happen to those projects. And then BNB comes along, making it complicated for EOS to really move further.


Probably the Chinese are really backing up EOS for that matter, let's see how they rank EOS if they ever release another statement. Or perhaps EOS has been manipulated as well by big Chinese whales.

If not for the wallet issue on EOS blockchain right now I'd say it's good, no matter what EOS wallet you using, once you run out of CPU and RAM you are in for a big mess, I have 10EOS in my wallet and I have no luck moving the coins out of my wallet, you should go for NEO, it's better

Eos platform is good and I term it as a coin to bull anytime soon in the next bitcoin run because more people are getting into the network. However, I think a time ago, maybe a group did signature had a signature bounty on there name and complained of no payment.

Why do you think that there will soon next bitcoin run and there are number of people in crypto has increased? Crypto market cap hasnt changed a lot. The only reason eos is among top alts is because this is an old alt, that is traded a lot. But in general eos blockchain doesnt develop much, or develops silently, without load announcements.

You are right, the growth and use of the EOS blockchain network are also not growing rapidly. The market is indeed quite good and big, but even when compared to BNB, EOS is likely to experience difficulties because the development of BNB is also very fast for last year.

It's not caused by an old alt but EOS has the a lot of money to do a massive marketing while the product is a big crap. As far as i know EOS chain can't even run its own DAPPS called voice and that needs a side chain to do that. That's a big fail in the history of crypto. This coin is very overrated coin.

EOS is a decent coin it has a different approach, like what we usually used to, some coins like ETH or even BTC, you will spend fees for every transaction, but on EOS you need to stake some CPU and RAM and you can send a transaction without fees and that whats make it unique from other coins. I guess it is safe to invest in EOS. But sometimes I get annoyed on how their platform works, you cant send because of "out of CPU" error even you have a balance and you can't make a transaction too, you need another account to add your cpu which is inconvenient I guess that is why they cannot beat ETH.

For RAM you need to buy it. Its the NET and CPU that you will need to stake EOS. Or at least this is what I do for the most part since I have been trading EOS in several exchanges. But yes it gets annoying sometimes when you are out of CPU so you need to stake more. You can redeem the EOS you stake anyway.

I have invested more in EOS recently than any other coin I have tried. Its listed in different exchanges so there is nothing to worry about it whether it will fail or not because its definitely not.

Yes, even if EOS is a promising project to invest, you should still consider the risk involved like many other alts. They may have the same goals with eth, but they need to market this platform so many developers will create their project under this network. If there is no demand, how can you increase its value? So they need to promote this network and if possible reach out projects and attract them to create under their network.

Many of them wants to invest on eos but their wallet has a fee before you can used it, it was a promising project but I want to see more on eos before I will invest on it I'm not closing my door for investment of it, they had so many lacking on their platform their marketing was not good at the moment they need to push it so many of them will notice the eos.

I thought Neo was the Chinese ethereum!   I think smart contract market belongs to Ethereum and they have already grabbed a large share of this market. Most of the DEFI projects are using ethereum. Of course yes it's one of a best coin in crypto market, the core purpose of the development is to solve speedy transaction. EOS reached the all time high in April and again dragged to the downtrend, eventually in the long-term this coin is surely a rockstar and definitely a worth investment.

EOS is an alts known for its superior technology compared to other alts. The EOS platform is really great, but the fomo community at EOS is not good enough. Although the introduction to the platform is great, there are very few users coming. Maybe people are used to using the Ethereum platform, it's easy to use and close. For a litte knowledge that I have about eos, its an interesting platform and it did progress a lot since they transfer on their own mainnet. But when I tried it, Im not so impress with some of the wallet that supported eos, its not so friendly user as you need to be familiar with ram and net size. Compared to my experience on ethereum which is more easier. Is it true that they have once a bounty campaign before for signature? I should not missed that if ever there was. I am currently trading, so last month I was able to profit from eos, buy it a bit lower and succeedly profit from it. But Im not sure if Im going to buy back and hold it for long term.

it can be a good investment. it's just that there are more potential crypto than EOS. yeah, in my opinion bitcoin and etheruem are much better. however, it all depends on the research you do. if you believe the price of the EOS can rise high when the price has risen, then make that decision. it's just that, so far, more people's attention is stored on bitcoin and ethereum.

We may not consider to invest in eos based on its rank the whole eos structure looks very complex which can be a big barrier for its progress that's why we can see its price getting down from the last couple of years which indicates that its current state not looks good at all the eos developers need to make their platform easy to understand then we may expect something positive with eos.

EOS is a good coin. I once thought of investing my money in it, but changed my mind because I felt it’s unnecessary since I already invested in so many other coins. EOS was created to be a competitor to the Ethereum smart contract and they are aiming at solving the scalability of dApp projects. From analysis I have read online, the coins seems quite recommendable and the predictions were that it will growth is year and will continue to grow in the coming years, and Cointobuy.io has given it a 6.5 rating.

I like to suggest you that before you invest you should do proper research and then make your choice because even this community is known for suggesting from their own experience and analysis, there could be some paid shills who may talk for the coin where they are affiliated. So, doing your own due diligence will help.

EOS choice is way more better than considering other low ranking alts in the market.We have seen on how this platform performs in terms of applications which is way more better than other shit coins in the market but ill tell you that it will definitely vary into you because we know that crypto investment doesnt guarantee you to be successful in future years but at least this one is really indeed a better choice.Stick with top alts in the market but always think of about the risk accompanied with it.Expect the unexpected and thats why you should be wise on when to sell out for profits.

To be honest, EOS is not on my list. I'd never see the strong potential for this coin that is why I rather escape it even EOS is on the top listed coin in the market. Maybe I was focusing on Bitcoin and ETH but something to say that EOS never has that much and it can hardly making money out from it.

You might be right and it will continue to remain that way if everything being done is still normal. EOS only need a top-notch update to get a big leap off where it is now. In fact, the entire market or bitcoin does not have to rise before it can.
Waves that got a big leap sometimes ago, I think in 2018 is never better candidate than EOS and yet, see how it rose. I believe EOS can do much more.

I don't think EOS is a good investment if you seek profit. Rather XTZ, Link is a better choice. EOS is one of the top ten coins, has huge trading volume and the technology also great but yet profit is really very for the holders!

everyone has their own opinion when it comes to alt investment. the OP might be getting some hints whether to invest or not in EOS. the final decision is still on him anyway. but one thing that he should not do though, is invest all his money in one alt only. its fine if he decides to invest in EOS but he should consider other coins to diversify his portfolio.

Like any other cryptocurrency (except for few), it still has a limited potential to attract some more investors due to its concept. In my opinion, all the major known alts are somehow a plan to collect money as much possible as there is no real need for the token. See ethereum how it becomes the easiest way for scammers to run their bad shemes using smart-contracts. Same thing with EOS, it will collapse one day or another. There is no safe investment but in bitcoin .

Why would you invest into EOS, when you can invest into an original Ethereum and not into a copy-paste project.
Ethereum now announced three big updates, so it would be better than anytime before, plus VISA is going to create a stable coin solution on Ethereum network!

At the moment most of the crypto market (and stocks market) is falling, so you can expect eos falling too.
Thus being said If you have any faith in eos I'd recomment to wait a little bit - I expect downtrend for a couple weeks, then its going to grow for some time again.

EOS is a good block chain but you need to do your own findings on it. I found out they recently had a big partnership or something of the sort and chances are in the long terms, I'll surpass its previous all time high. However, you should take out time to understand the underlying technology behind the project before investing to prevent losses.

What's the correlation between XTZ and EOS? that's the different coin dude. I thought that if you have known about this. EOS tech is old technology compared with the new blockchain mechanism that being developed by various new projects.

EOS is not the coin for me. It was interesting at first when it was literally raising a ton of money using the ICO but then it ran into some governance problems and that the project members were favoring some nodes etc. I stopped looking after that.

They really raised a lot of money with their ICO, but we didn't see EOS doing a lot, weak marketing, not so many interested people in EOS like in some other platforms. There are people who like EOS, but I don't see them around so much is what I want to say. EOS community doesn't seem so active, or I am just not involved enough with their platform. The general impression there are better coins than EOS.

Sorry I don't like EOS community support, I like it's use case and everything but the team are silent about every problems users are facing most especially about their wallets, lacks of support will make them lose investors in short time

I already sold my Eos I've got from one bounty campaign, but I have seen how strong the community and the many Dapps created for the community, it's not really that complex, but you must understand how it is structured so you will not be surprised if you cannot transfer because of lack of gas even though I have funds, that's what happens to me.

You make a good decision when you sold all the EOS you have.

Every Dapps project will have in crypto market live in the shadow of ETH and they usually simulate ETH roadmap. Besides,  the strong level of a centralized project should'nt be trusted because almost every part of centralized projects are always manipulated.

t's the right choice to use as a short-term investment, but for a long-term investment, I recommend BTC or ETH because large investors are more interested in investing in it

 There was a discussion about eos being a bit more centralized than people liked it to be. I am not sure if thats a good enough reason, I don't know if thats a good enough reason or I don't even know if its true at all, but thats about the only reason I can think of why it couldn't be good if thats not right. So here we have to figure out if there is a technical or team related general problem with it that people are afraid of, for example like Ripple and XRP, that is third biggest coin but the team owns a lot of coins so its risky and I don't like it, so just because you are high doesn't mean you are secure, if eos is like xrp it would be bad to invest, if it is not like that at all then I do not see any reason why not to invest into it at all.

I think EOS is too complicated to ever gain mainstream usage.

There has been a mass exodus of projects away from EOS for this exact reason. Sure, it's fast, but its complexity outweighs its benefits.

I also don't like the idea of 21 block producers, not enough decentralized IMO, even if they are voted in by the community. I'm sure several of them rigged their way into position.

EOS has been one of the most dominant dapp currencies out there, of course eth is still number one probably, but the blockchain of eos has proved to be very resourceful as well. I am not saying eos will pass ethereum one day (it may, it may not, I wouldn't know) but at least it proved its place and why it deserves to be high up in the ranks.

Now what I believe is the simple fact that top coins are too strong to fail most of the time, unless something like Charlie Lee selling all his litecoins happens, all coins who are high ranked will probably stay high ranked. I also believe that crypto is something that has value and fiat is something that loses value, which means crypto will go up constantly. So combining these two things together I think eos will go up in the future, a long term investment.

It is a good choice based on its liquidity and has been in existence for a few years. In any case, any choice you are going to make is not for a short time.

One thing about eos blockchain is that it is the most misunderstood blockhain, several peeps, investors or newbies who do not fancy so much would blame eos alot, but it is a very easy to use blockchain platform for me, on a rather frank sense, it is a good investment for the future.

If I am going to check its status at the coinmarketcap(CMC) EOS isn't bad to choose as an investment form here cryptocurrency business. I think Eos is one of the good altcoins to hold in the long term based on my own opinion. Aside from this, I remembered there was a game in android giving an Eos profit, I forgot the title of that games but I think it's legit anyway.

That's only from the liquidity aspect but if we are seeing it from the software that used by EOS and it's an outdated chain.

It can't be used to run a big dapps and the problem is the progress that has already shown by EOS is very slow compared with another coin especially for the dapps (not gambling).

Eos is the top altcoin so I don't think you need to worry if you want to invest with eos for the future, eos has a lot of dapps, has big users and on the other hand there are many ICO projects that use the eos Platforms.

As long as you would HODL them for a long time.

I see EOS as a good project but I must say it's usage is complicated. I worry that not too many people will adopt it except the tech savvy. I see soany my friends complain of not able to send their coin out .

You are a newbie and I don't think you can handle the pressure you are going to come across when using EOS wallet, it makes me feel like EOS is for the tech savvy ones and not for random people, their wallet is real pain

why you say its hard . whats its difference compare to other wallets out there ? me either never use of eos or its wallet before but im aware that some wallets are not easy to set up so maybe eos is one of them but i remember there are wallets that supports multiple cryptos and some of those multi functional wallets are user friendly than compare to the official eos wallet .   eos is one of the good coin so investing on it can be a good decision

This is the Most supported Currency of China AFIK and i believe that they will continue to support this currency until they released
 their own cryptocurrency and also EOS has proven their capacity to stay neutral even when market is dumping proving
 it is sustainable and worth investing for.

and also those Token that use their platform like EOSbet seems stabilizing now and making their own way to growing so with this
 i think we should consider putting money in this coin as well.

if you are willing to invest in crypto market better to diversify for at least 3-5 currencies so even what happen in one there are still

EOS isn't bad choice at all, the project is well embraced in Asia countries, I heard it's called Asia ethereum of such but the only flaws here is the hardness when using the wallet, if you run out of juice e.g ram and cpu you are in big trouble

EOS is one of the leading projects in this market, so investing in it is a good choice. It is also on my portfolio, and when the bull market begins I believe its price will go up quickly along with bitcoin and other altcoins.

I think EOS has a good reputation and a top-ranking cryptocurrency on CMC, but honestly speaking it's a complicated coin to use but just limited of sending transaction because of the CPU, RAM, and NET requirements its difficult to use for those newcomers But overall its a potential coin for investment and its worthy to pour some investment, actually I'm holding some EOS on Binance. 

In my own opinion, EOS is good but however investing in it depends on what you are expecting, I would say you start by checking the timeline of the team to know their potential improvements and so on this will give you clue on what to expect. If am to suggest, I will prefer BTC, ETH, BNB or even XLM because they are more better and EOS.

But you need to diversify your portfolio, you need to invest at least 4-5 different altcoins. So EOS will be a great choice in your portfolio. Never waste this opportunity

If you are really into altcoin investing then this is a wise move definitely. Alts behavior is harder to predict than btc IMO so choosing only one alt will give you of higher chance of losing. You know, if the whales of that alt finally dump once and for all then it's game over. Diversifying your assets bring you greater chances of winning. But take note, be careful on picking the right one because sh*tcoins scattered around.

EOS is a good coin and the way I see it, it's going to be one of the most successful coins in the cryptocurrency market.
The demand for the coin is already high, coupled up with a solid fundamental and the right team to move it to the right position.

But, I am not going to tell you that EOS will be the biggest in the market , the same way they are fighting to beat Ethereum, is the same way other new projects will be coming up to challenge them in the future. So you never tomorrow, another project might get released and best them in that area. You can just invest now and make the profit when it's possible, but go with the level of risk you can take.

Directly, my point of view about EOS blockchain is no. EOS blockchain was one of my good choices for investment, but finally I changed my mind because of CEO news. I don't want to suggest it here, but EOS Blockchain isn't good enough for return. We can't predict the future of altcoins like Bitcoin, but EOS can't be good for short term investment.
