Rome wasn't built in a day, and Bitcoin won't take off to the moon right now. It will take a lot of improvement, a lot of new technology and a lot of hard work.

The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.

And then if it dropped back to 15k, suddenly most of these people will disappear again. They won't believe in bitrcoin and they will not care.

If you don't want your money to be created by bankers and the government at their whim the actual price of bitcoin is secondary. Bitcoin is a central part of the puzzle when it comes to the people getting back their sovereignty.

I don't know if it's the right way to call them. Most out there are acting according to their feelings, and it's not their fault. Crypto trading is way easier to access than stock trading - in fact, you can start trading by simply downloading a software which is insane.

Let's be honest - as much as I want to say I'm a 100% Bitcoin sustainer, profit is part of my interest. Although it's not the top priority, it does exist and every time BTC showed death signs I did quit due to the fear of losing everything.

I wish we all went for a single purpose out there: moving away from banks. But I have to agree with the fact that these guys who are out there just for the profit help us a lot. Imagine Tesla: what would its market value be if every single person who owned its stocks never cared about the profit?

Most are still sleeping. Just wait, calmly. The current events around the world will hopefully wake them all up, one by one. :)

Don't call them clowns. You may have taken advantage of their ignorance by dumping on them but you can still show a little empathy. I'm sure you have heard stories of taking loans, selling houses, using all life savings to buy bitcoin and sold at a huge loss. Maybe some of them wanted to try again but decided not to go buy because of the mocking they received when they made a costly mistake.

Bitcoin will go to "moon" and the patience will be rewarded because there will be "clowns", as you call them, who will be buying at rallies again.

it depends on how you define "moon". i define it as $1 million and i agree that it requires a lot more development and a ton of additional work to make bitcoin better and capable of handling that kind of huge adoption. but most important of all it needs time.

but everything else that people usually refer to as "moon" like breaking the previous ATH,... are just the natural growth that we will inevitably see sooner or later. we can't expect the moon to be reached in one go. it will take lots of rallies and lots of bubbles with their corrections before get there.

in this process we will see many come and go but when we analyze the end result when the hype subsides we can see that the community has significantly grown.

I don't think everyone quits. The ones that join the community due to the price rise, gets to know about about bitcoin and the technology. They learn about the past of the bitcoin and then they understand that the price has always been volatile. They get interested and they end up staying over here. Only those who came for the profit, runs away.
Again, this sudden rise also starts to help us spread more knowledge about bitcoin!

You really think bitcoin is going to replace the banks?

Bitcoin often sees supporters turned haters every time they got burned, and it's understandable considering that most of these people do not really take their time to do some researching and just pull the trigger expecting that bitcoin will grant them profits instantly. It takes time to build something sustainable and robust, and that certainly is what bitcoin and the community is doing right now: taking their time. Even big names in the economic scene are already recognizing bitcoin and its merits, and its not far from reality that these same guys would also invest in bitcoin given that the room for growth and potential is really big if taken the right steps and approach to make things work.

To get to the moon you do not need much improvement in the technology but for bitcoin to be used as a global currency we need some major changes.

There were many riding the rally and there were many using their credit cards and those that thought of maxing out the profit when the market was rallying to new all time high might have burned and they will not take a chance like that in the future. It is always better to invest a percentage of the savings you have than using credits.

Patience is something on-which you will get practice to it over the time. So, holding bitcoins and anticipating a big value for it is the problem of beginners of crypto space and definitely not for the people who understand how crypto works and how much reliable if bitcoin market takes more time for reaching big value. Bitcoin went to ~$20k from $10k in less than 25 days and then it is taking around 4+ years time to achieve that kind of peaks again. So, believe into slow and steady because that alone will persist for longer.

In my beginning days I do day dream about big amount of BTCs all of sudden and big value for bitcoins so that I will be a top rich man in my country to run a big business to stay wealthy for rest of my life. But, over the time, when nothing happened and I got busy in my regular job, I stopped such thoughts and started to research about the possibilities for higher bitcoin rates which will make me wealthier than now with respect to my BTC savings. So, patience will come into practice when you realize your stand.

It is a delicate balance between the believing on the principles/ possibilities and the business side of BTC... on a certain point of view, things would look better for everyone if there was not so many people after the easy money that show up/vanish in waves related with the sucess or downfall of BTC... but on the other hand the so called "clows" also include honnest people that had the courage to invest their savings (and some also their economic lifes) on something that most do not believe in, just hopping to get enough profit to sort out their life, these would still be around...

Now let me tell you something everyone else has a means of survival In this Crypto arena trust me. you on your speculations you can keep HODLING bitcoin if it goes up or comes down DONT SELL just keep HODLING now that's ur own style now those you call clowns can buy when it drops and sell off when it's high that's their own means of business. You can't just say to others what should do.

Those who bought on rallies and sell at lower prices do have their own reason why they do it. I don't see how they became a bitcoin non-believer because of that. Not all can handle the risks of seeing their assets continuously decreasing its value continuously so they limit it and come back next time. Others also set-up a stop-loss as part of their strategy. Traders also not an enthusiast of holding for long since that's why they called traders in the first place.

You just have to go with the flow and stop thinking too much. Bitcoin already establishes a good community and adoption increases while it progresses.

For sure most of the people who trust already the bitcoin will still trust the bitcoin because we know from the previous years even the market price of the bitcoin does not have too much market value but the time goes by they are now supporting the use of the bitcoin by using this as their transaction payment or payment method because they know the potential and the benefits of this coin. If you are an investor you will grab the opportunity to make an investment when the market price of the coin falls down.

If you want to earn basically without doing anything just make an investment when the market price falls down this is the basic thing we could do in bitcoin and wait for the market price to reaches its highest peak price and sell your coin. Sometimes FOMO can bring us a huge chance to grab the opportunity to earn more money and one of the best things we should do is trust the bitcoin to go up but do the bitcoin fails us to rise? I think it's no because it has many supporters.

Those buying the rallies and selling the dumps may make profit or they will at least learn from their mistakes. Its not entirely implausible to buy an asset as it rises, there be no good time to buy a fall either...

You could buy a fall or a plateau but even a slight upwards move may be enough, buying a sustained rally is risky but if its all you can think to do and you're happy losing those funds then fine.

With most investments, you should be able to be confident leaving something for a year or three and knowing your investment will have made a nice return, anything shorter than about 6 months then your investment turns to gambling but you can still calculate the risk nonetheless and work out your r:r

Now, I will like to also add to this, that no body is a clown 😡 in crypto-currency business. Everyone started as a newbies before they become legendaries today, and secondly everyone has its own part or will I say patterns of Making out of bitcoin or cryptocurrency as the case may be so no one is a clown.

Not all people would really have that same mindset towards investment and there would be believers, short profit-takers and leave but majority would really be
always aiming for profits excluding to those people who do really believe into its actual usage but its impossible to presume out that those who believe arent

Patience does really pay off but not all would have that same level when it comes on the waiting game thats why they would just pick up and sell if there

Those investors invest on bitcoin to become quick rich and expect high return probably they would regret once a time if they are unable to wait with patience. Everyone should learn as much as possible before invest on bitcoin. The question about not bitcoin only, everyone should learn and study very well before start anything new either its online or real life. Otherwise they will never trust on bitcoin when they will lose by selling on bear market. Besides that greedy peoples also would blam same thing when they will lose due to greedy behavior. People mostly look at bitcoin as easy money ,so, they invest as much as they can. Others sold their properties,making loans from the banks just to have a huge profit if ever the bitcoin price increase but the problem is ,when the price drop down they lose their hope and intead of patience to wait that the price go back to increase,they sell what they invest in a lowest price which result to loss. Patience is the essential ingredience of investing.

Most investors has only short term speculation about the Bitcoin price because they believe that it is only a bubble as it has no solid foundation especially newbies that only after quick returns without knowing the risk involve in investing in Cryptocurrency and it's volatility.

You a good argument there OP, but we might not know that the reason why bitcoin might increase up to 25k is because of the people. Just take note, the demands drive the price up, and it is not the price that makes people demand from the law of economics.

Meaning to say that we should also value people, and how can we do that? Provide better information, state how useful bitcoin is, help to lessen scams and be consistent with what we do.

For me, the main reason I'm still with bitcoin is that I first study the concepts, and not focus on the price and profits. Most of the time, people only want an investment, without even knowing it that is why they can't remain consistent and eventually vanish.

I couldn't agree more most of those investor doesn't really believe in Bitcoin that is why they are losing their money on it because they tend to withdraw when things go wrong.
They doesn't believe that it could go back but it would take some time and it wouldn't be just like the last time but it could be more higher than the previous one.
They intend to jump only when the price is raising up like but they don't know that it is too risky to do that they intend to miss out the opportunity while it is low and talk about regret when the price is very high.

Everyone has a different way of investing in bitcoin. Patience is indeed above everything and patience will produce good results when investing. Just imagine if you could recognize and own bitcoin at the first time bitcoihn was launched and detained until now, how many times the increase in bitcoin prices.

People who don't believe and start away from bitcoin are people who still don't know what bitcoin is, they move away and leave when bitcoin falls drastically and come back and then make a new group again when bitcoin starts heading for the moon.

There is no instant, all need a process, especially bitcoin, which always has a process to reach the moon at the highest price.

I hope that 25k in just remaining couple of months will do come true. That would be the greatest comeback for all of us in this miserable 2020 :D.

But kidding aside, those people who buy at rallies and sell at bearish days you are pertaining to is just a bunch of people FOMO. They are opportunistic individuals who decide to hop in because of the price hike. I've witnessed it last ATH (I'm scared for it to happen again). Because we all know that oldies would never do that lol. How sad to think that majority of people show support to btc only during the skyrocket, but after the fall down, they're already gone as well. It seems that they're here just only for the profits and not the adoption :(.

It is a matter of vision rather than patience, in fact patience is a merely punctual matter, for example in your vision oriented to the price of bitcoin and people (misnamed clowns) who act in a way that activates your patience, for their Actions, good or bad, are part of the ecosystem called bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a complex system, not just a cryptocurrency that only depends on its price reaching to the moon, is where some bitcoin users stay putting the flag of the bullrun patiently waiting for the message from Houston (market) but they do not know that a message to the moon takes only 1.3 seconds, by the way that + 4 min took yesterday  from $ 10,150 to $ 9,400 (*). but it's ok, they also deserve to belong to the bitcoin ecosystem, by the way

But let's go back to the topic of prices, in fact it amazes me how some expect "users" to always live dreaming about the bitcoin issue to the moon, when there are people currently making money, just as if bitcoin reached the dream price (... moon! -?) individual for each of us.

If you want to win with bitcoin, you just have to invest and stick his head in the trade, selling and buying at any price, in fact you forget that bitcoin was close to $ 3000 this year, then many have already had an interstellar trip , the point is, that the real impatient of bitcoin are those who are waiting for such a trip to the moon, when each day, according to their possibilities and investment capacity, they can have them daily, you just have to know "How can I just do that?"

Finally, those who have vision see the rewards of bitcoin in its adoption, stability, hitting the establishment  and transforming all our Fiat money into bitcoin, but for this to happen if there is to be patience .

Bitcoin has come a long way, little by little. It takes a lot of time and effort to get acquainted. However, I believe that its use will soon increase worldwide as a 100% reliable currency. Panic by Sell is everywhere. It will always be in the future. It has greatness, so there is no need to think too much about it. As soon as the use of Bitcoin increases in online payment methods and real life, people's confidence will increase and it will be possible to avoid Tax by converting their capital to Bitcoin when they know when they will enter Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is never an easy money but proper manipulation will really give you huge amount of profit. Sometimes you need to think outside the box once you invest in using cryptocurrency so that you will not just think of the obvious outcome. Patience is the most necessary thing or attitude that you must perform in investing in cryptocurrency because that will give you the right timing to grow your business. Don't rush things as it might give you lots of mistakes and missing the opportunities for you to grow. If the price dropped, learn to wait or lose the chance to have more profits. Bitcoin's volatility will surely give you more and more chances to recover from your mistakes so when you invest, be patient and aware about the market's movement.

I wouldn't call them clowns. We couldn't really stop them because it is an opportunity to earn, who would lose an opportunity btw? not me. Maybe they read about it or referred by a friend. Its a win for me, more people are getting into btc. They trusted it in some point. They see the potential in it. Its true though that a lot will be gone after the price go down. However, I believe that some of the "clowns" you are calling will stay. And yup some will not believe again, but Its still a win because there are still those users who will stay. Who will see the true value of Btc. And still its a step forward. We are getting numbers.

As usual, patience will not disappoint us, especially for people who believe in bitcoin. People who buy at a high price, and not patient to wait for some time will disappoint. It is because they don't have more patience to wait for bitcoin price to increase, but people sell their bitcoin at a downtrend so they cannot make a profit.

People who have the big patient to wait for the price to increase will happy in the end because they can hold the bitcoin for some time, they can sell bitcoin at the right time which is at the highest price. Not everyone dreamed about Bitcoin to the moon is longing to have good profit in the future, instead few of them are the believers that Bitcoin is the future. However most of them are long term hodlers as well.

And I agree, there are actually people who don't need to wait for Bitcoin to reach the moon, instead they make their own way to the moon regardless of the current Bitcoin value. One of the effective way is trading.
I guess successful traders doesn't usually brag about how much they can earn in any span of trading timeline, but most of the time you can hear frustrated traders talks about the danger and risks about trading.

Nevertheless, long term hodling is kinda safe for those who doesn't want to risk or don't have enough time to study and research how to make good profit out of Bitcoin investment.

Yeah, that's quite harsh, man :D but it is the reality crypto space have. Won't deny it, since it reminds me of myself back then; am just apparently joining the hype and then disappear when thing turns into a mess, luckily that now, I don't. What a big waste of money and opporunities back in those time.

Apparently, these events still are a natural thing in today's environment or maybe would always be, since not everyone has the interest on embracing bitcoin for what it is rather than a get-rich-quick-scheme item or simply because waiting for a long time isn't their thing in the first place.

This feels so bad that there is not so much support to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies by the people and they only invest in cryptocurrencies because of the fact there is an opportunity of earning a quick buck in the case where the market shows huge fluctuations and when the market rests those people just sell their holdings and go to life as usual.
The thing is, most of these kind of people loose their money in dollar value as they time their entries and exits wrong. Also at that time many people posts here on the forum showing their losses and dissing bitcoins for being so volatile.

Patience is the quality of waiting calmly without complaining. An example of patience is someone standing peacefully in a very long line. Being patient, you can overcome any challenging situation with more flexibility and in a better way. Being stress-free and happy helps you stay you healthier.

I wouldn't go that far to start calling names (clowns).
Some people are not in position to HODL because they need money for surgery or they need buy bigger home when their family will get bigger etc.
There are many people that would want to HODL but they can't from various reasons.  Price record attract many new people from media attention that is true.

Its the basic mistake of everyone who wants to start their investing career, they think that they can make millions with their thousands which is literally possible but not possible in weeks or months which will take years or decade.Every traditional stock market investor knows that importance of being patient but newbies are getting trapped because they are buying and selling at the wrong time.

With a lot of the fluctuations in price, we get chancers and hopeful types who think that they can make a solid amount quickly and then bemoan their own lack of experience so sentiments seem more negative overall purely because they're more vocal in times of distress than most of us are due to our experience. So, most if not all of us will be patient, and it'll pay off, but the most vocal likely won't be and we need to see through that.

It should be realized about no quick profit and also, those who do nothing by having the desire to become rich only in a short time then that is something very wrong, because even those who continue to work still cannot guarantee that they will become rich in this crypto market. This market is indeed very volatile but at least there will always be hope for this market to be bullish and we just need to be patient and of course always prepare yourself in everything so that you get the moment with good preparation.

Those cryptos are insignificant. Anybody can make their own currency by forking the existing chain. Many people have maid their cryptos from scratch and years later nobody uses them.

You need users for a cryptocurrency to succeed and who is going to use a centralized crypto tied to a bank when they can use fiat money that's pretty much the same, but also tied to the government which is obviously much bigger and stronger than a bank. The only way this could work is in countries with hyperinflation where people are already dumping fiat money.

People keep patients and very optimistic about the market that is why they hold and never sell their Bitcoin. But that was an unfortunate thing that many did stupid things during the bear season. Coz if we all are thinking about buying and holding only, definitely, we can't see the market looks like this and it pretty sure we can't able to see the price goes high. Correct. Many people can't be patient to wait for a while, and they decide to sell their bitcoin at the wrong time. But I guess that in the end, they will learn about the patient so that can help them to wait until the price can back to the higher price.

The other trader who leaves the market when it's dumped will not back for temporary because they get trauma from the last experience. Maybe they will not come back to the market again.

This is one of the reasons why there are lots of investors who hold at least 1 BTC for each one of them. these guys are planning to hold this 1 BTC for the long term and they have encouraged themselves to not listen to any bad thing about bitcoin. One thing we will need in investing on BTC is to have patience, especially those who are planning to hold their BTC for years. You just need to learn how to wait and you need to understand that often visiting the crypto market to watch the price every day will lead to some kind of light panic and if not halt, you might end up selling your BTC to a lower price.

Bitcoin is a free protocol and software to use. Anyone can participate and win/lose during the participation. The ones that came and go because of the bitcoin price are not clowns,in my opinion. They are a useful component of the ecosystem. They will promote bitcoin when the price goes up and will demote it when the price goes down. Either way they are a free marketing machine and they will bring attention to Bitcoin whenever they feel sad or good. Some of the people that will hear Bitcoin from them, will like the software/protocol/idea and will participate in the network, with whatever way they can. This is the beauty of Bitcoin network.  ;D

I am with the OP here, so if Bitcoin moons it mighht attracct a lot of newbies, but if 50% of these newbies will interact with crypto and realizie the benefits of crypto it is a good aspect as well.

Yet we cannot blame them coz what if they really a money? especially during these times that we really need it, it is their full responsibility to keep away out from the market. And since we be talking about patience in here, I've seen a lot of people be confused on what patience are we talking about, if it is the patience to wait for the market to run good so we can sell out our coins or the patience to wait for the bitcoin to be adopted in the real world. If that's the case then they are really for the crypto market, coz from the beginning it's been that way that you have to deal with simply this industry is pretty volatile. It's not trauma that caused them to not to come back to the market, it is the affordability mate.

Everyone follows their own ways. We are never the same and we all have different belief and how we live our lives and do business. It's not everyone that can invest in Bitcoin and I do tell some of my friends that if they don't have enough money to invest in Bitcoin and have patience, then it's best to leave it for now and work hard whatever safe and less risky way they choose to do so, and after they might have raised enough money they can get back to investing their money in whatever asset or stock they choose. I do see some people that became millionaires.

Bitcoin is so far highly rewarding all the people who opt to hold for years rather than active traders nor short term holder. If you have patience then you can easily become a bitcoin billionaire in coming years. Not all the people are minding about saving bitcoins for their retirement life but in my culture we value saving and surprisingly bitcoin works as per my culture.

Those who bought bitcoin during the bullish trend shouldn't be given any name of sort like clowns because there might be reasons why they did that. There are different challenges in life and those who face life have different approach to life solving. If they sold to save life then they're good but outright selling for panics isn't encourage. The Bitcoin market has reached maturity, since it has passed its Accumulation stage from 2014 to 2017 and its Distribution stage in 2018, which is normal in a market, nowadays it has been going through the Accumulation stage but as the Fundamental Covid-19 has passed, it has made unexpected changes.

In the Stock Market it is normal for these changes to occur, in fact the important changes occur every 8 to 10 years, the BItcoin market the accumulation stage has been somewhat faster, this is due to the enormous volatility that exists.

Patience is really a virtue because every one who has a successful career with crypto currency has a long patience and those guys who doesn't have enough patience is lossing their opportunity tobe rich so patience is really important for all of us especially for those who is dedicated to be rich with using crypto currency. You are right, a lot of people only care about the price of bitcoin and the profits they can take off from it due to it's volatile nature of moving up and down and as such, they tends to abondon cryptocurrency when there is extreme bear in the market. A lot of wprk really need to be done, i believe if we can get the general public to accept bitcoin the more, it will stop the volatility as the market will be driven by the force of many people instead of selected few. If the algorithms of bitcoin network canbe Improve, it will really help a lot in pushing bitcoin for mass adoption

Maybe they use a wrong strategy to use all of their money to trade so when the market is going down, they don't have back-up money, and that can makes them to sell the coin at a loss.
The patience that we talk is about how we can be patient to wait until the market to run good or until the price can increase at least, more than the price we buy so they can close the trade and make some profit.

I think they join in the market because of the trend that they see in social media, and make them curious, so they think that it is easy to try. But the fact is, trading will be more than they think, and it needs to learn to trade before they use their money. Some people will be afraid to enter the market again, and some of them still hold their coins for a long time. Maybe it's trauma or maybe it's not trauma because we don't know what they think.

Its a human nature to see an investors getting interested to engage themselves in crypto if the market is in bullish trend. Because they want to earn and join the hype of increasing price, though we know its not the right timing to buy and a risky decision if ever you want to own bitcoin or alts.

The fact that some of us are only after earning through crypto and not here because of the technology and what it can do our lives, are the reasons why some people are quitting because they cant stand seeing the market in bearish status.

There are a lot of people I know that say they are keeping an eye on the price of Bitcoin. I don't know what happened to them since they're not really giving me updates to what they are doing now. The price is not that bad right now but I am always telling them that this time, this price might still be a bad time to invest, better wait for a little bit longer. If the price increases, people will still wait before they invest to it since I don't think they would be buying at that high price.

Bitcoin is not an investment for now. bitcoin is for the future it might be 5 years or even more but that time even 0.00001btc will worth a lot. So the 1Btc you have now can will worth so much.

Those who dump bitcoins are not necessary those who have no trust in bitcoins, infact they are mostly the big traders or whales which sell high quantity of bitcoins and later they buy them cheap again. This is how this pump and dump cycle continues and bitcoin price is never stable.

People who invest and the oeak and selling at the bottom are inexperienced in investing sector because the perfect time for an Investor to jum into any investment is when people selling of their assets.Long term is the real profitable in cryoto as well but high volatility on crypto prices made people to think that they can become rich in no time so they invest when everyone investing and when there is a dumo they sell for loss and quot the market.

It all makes sense because Bitcoin's price is unstable, but the community that believes in Bitcoin is not passed out. We may not have large amounts but we still support it, bitcoin is our freedom and we will not let it escape.

Easier to said than done. I guess everyone is totally aware of how you basically manage to invest in any investment platform. There were actually no stupid person would buy at a higher price or sell at the bottom line. What made them to do so, is when they don't have enough trust on the capability of Bitcoin in the feature or totally have no idea what market they are entering. Volatility sometimes makes us excited and sometimes it scares us, and that's normal because hodling Bitcoin is risky.

No one is stupid but they really do for some reasons which could be whatever but should have been prepared to tackle this when they started their investment career that is why we don't have to invest the money which we need for our survival,just invest only after yiur savings which is atleast enough for you to kive without any earning for the next 6 months.

Also, those that believe with FUD and other predictions are more prone to selling their portfolio. They act according to the sentiments of the market instead of their plans. So if you really are weak in this market, you will lose a lot. As a crypto user or trader, you should have tangible plans with your crypto investments and not just follow some self-proclaimed experts. You should know better by now.

As explained in the OP, there are some people who are fomo, so they only go along with the flow of hysteria, then give up because the movements are not as expected. So, to avoid that kind of thing then we really have to try to adapt well, so that we can adjust to various situations.

I have personally believed in the idea of Bitcoin since the beginning.  I have not done constant business with it, or even been there in the thick of it the whole time, but I honestly was hit with "wow" the first time I read the concept and information.  But, I wonder how much of the decentralized portion we are giving up to maintain usability.  What I mean is we are little by little, giving in to more and more regulation to keep the legality of using Bitcoin alive.  I guess it would be useless to have Bitcoin and not be able to use it, but it is starting to lose some of what it is meant to be.

I remember Cryptsy, they were Florida based I think and I live in Florida. I would never begrudge anyone the return of their rightfully lost money.  But, that was the beginning of much of the loss of full freedom to use Bitcoin the way it was meant to be.  I know that in the US, it is hard to find a website/exchange that will sell Bitcoin without an ID based verification.  I don't mind it, but that is a big loss of freedom for us, versus the way the BTC network started.  Sure, we can wallet trade back and forth and never involve a government anything, but to trade to FIAT, that is pretty difficult without either risking a bad transaction or giving up that picture ID. 

Part of me thinks that the Cryptsy case should never have happen, that those that would scammed should have not gotten legal recourse.  I don't want anyone to lose out, but there was a certain amount of risk built into everything back then that is gone now.  I hope I didn't offend anyone by saying that, it was not meant to.

     Look brother, times are tough in almost every place here in the world nowadays due to economic problems going on. Well patience don't always work in most cases, there are some situations where if you are patient you will be rewarded at the end while there some certain situations where patience don't work only smartness, when it comes btc I guess yes, you need lots of patience because price is always up and down, it all boils down to knowing when to be smart and when to be patience.

I often bring up these same topics when arguing with those who give me a hard time about my involvement with bitcoin or just those who are against bitcoin in general. The internet took years to evolve, and the World Wide Web took years to come about. It takes a while for massive changes like these to take place.

I agree that things take time, Bitcoin itself has taken quite some while to get to the point it is at, and still several fronts could be made better. When  I entered crypto I thought I will be rich quickly but it is not the reality. It is a long journey, Imagine how many years bitcoin needs to reach new heights after its creation. I have a solid belief in Bitcoin since 2016 and Im certain that BTC is definitely here to stay and will play a much bigger part in the global economy in near future.

Nonetheless, I got out of BTC when it hit $20k, and came back to trading crypto again in early 2019.

Its not a matter of having beliefs, but its a matter of protecting one's assets and making smart financial decisions.

Because in the end, I am the one that has to pay rent, buy food and clothing for myself. No one is gonna do that for me.

But the greedy idiots who buy during a rally and don't understand the risks of speculation, regression to the mean and the volatility of bitcoin, the people who only believe in bitcoin when the price goes up, who disappear the moment the price drops and they have no paper profits to show, these people are clowns. yeah right, patience for me is the key to success. price fluctuations in the crypto market are commonplace, here we are only led to learn the cryptocurrency trading cycle. if we already know the knowledge of crypto currencies, we will get a big profit from cryptocurrencies. I am sure that as time goes by and the more sophisticated technology, the price of cryptocurrency will be more expensive.

We cannot blame an investor about his plans. If he choose to either sell or not to, that is his choice as an investor. If you have your plans with you, then stick with it. There are just investors who cannot afford losing that much or simply gambling their fortune out of their investments. Everytime there is an increase and they are good with it already, they will sell at that moment to assure their profit and there's nothing wrong with it. If you are into long term holding, then hold.

If there will be no one to invest in peak price, I think no hodler could actually gain profits. It is just that, we are in a two side of wheel where someone gains profit and the other suffers. The only solution I can find with it is patience, if we have bought some amounts in a wrong time, we aren't lost yet, we can wait till the price peaks higher than the price when we bought it then sell it.

But without any mistakes, chances of gaining profit is better, if we know the proper timing in buying the dip, or if we have time, we could learn to scalp trade to earn profit in short term crypto price increase.

I remember 2017, all altcoins dropped drastically in July and quickly regained their bullish momentum in October-November-December and all hit ATH. The market has been continuously decreasing since December 2017 and the market has been active again at the moment. The difference now is that there are more altcoins with more and many old altcoins cannot increase in value. Those are the dead cryptocurrencies. I have confidence that by the end of this year the market will record a breakthrough growth rate more strongly than in 2017.

Exactly i also remind those days i was holding all of my coins and i got my profit .In recent past year we have seen bitcoin was surviving a lot and now its been recovered .Crypto market is so volatile that's why we can earn much from here .Panicked seller always sell their coin on low price and being upset when its been recovered .So we get a great experience from the past days and we have to apply it on future.

First of all, who would have to sell their Bitcoins at bear trend knowing what Bitcoin can do in a matter of time, they are not clowns instead they are totally dumb. Wasting the opportunity was the craziest thing to do.
There are times that Bitcoin wasn't that much profitable I know but that doesn't mean it is dead, just like you what have said patience is all matter to be getting rewarded. I've been in this industry for almost 3 years so I know what are the capabilities of Bitcoin that is why I put my trust and my future on it.

Probably was what happened to me today: I bought some iris token from binance last week and saw some loss while the weeks runs out. Early this week, the token saw some small appreciation which did not give profit for my investment but thought of selling was there. Immediately I saw my 2% profit I sold the token. The funny thing here was: after my sold there came a tweet from the team about their testnet and the market experienced a huge pump, but at this point I became incapacitated because I sold out with fear. Risk is what determine your profit in trading.

Such users will only come when they are profitable, and I'm sure that in every asset there is something like that too. Honestly, I think loyalty is something that is very difficult to get even for gold, I agree about patience above all else because that is what makes users prove that they are loyal. But patience must also be followed by action because if you just wait then the result will be the same. We have a lot of signs we can use to take some advantage and get some profit in a short period of time, read something, know the market, know whats happening, every movements can give you something.

the thing is that like you said most people don't really understand Bitcoin and are simply here to make a quick profit. Can you really even call someone who puts money into bitcoin because he heard about a colleague making money on it or read about it in the newspaper an investor.

Here is an article that was published at the peak of the ICO mania in 2018 by the the New York times, i can imagine quite a few people bought into bitcoin  and got burned in the subsequent crash after reading an article like this.

As far as pressure from financiers is concerned if you are borrowing huge sums to buy into bitcoin without doing proper research then you will most certainly get burned, its just that people don't hear about those stories all they hear about are the few that borrowed large sums and and made a fortune.

I honestly have doubts if even 30% of the people buying Bitcoin have even read through the bitcoin whitepaper, most people simply hear buzz words around it and keep repeating these again and again and call it a scam when they eventually get burned.

Yes but waiting without putting in some labour may not bring reward. You have to be in a good position to get help, support or knowledge to carry you on. Faith with no work isn't going to lead to success. And most times we don't need to keep waiting. When our investment is not bringing profit , we can sell and invest in some thing else.

BTCt depends on how you define "moon". i define it as $1 million and i agree that it requires a lot more development and a ton of additional work to make bitcoin better and capable of handling that kind of huge adoption. but most important of all it needs time.

I quite disagree to your first point, as in trading, there are some traders that trade in short term, and they called it scalping, but in there, you need to have a good amount of fund because of the trading fee. Basically, you don't need to be patient when you've bought a crypto, what you just need to do is to spot which crypto is building hype over the market and has the potential to increase in market price.

By the way, the skills that you need is classified in to two: The fundamental and technical analysis. Technical are more focused on understanding market graphs and pattern while fundamental is analyzing news and current state of the project.

Be patient and return to the mainland. Over the past 3 years, a lot of people have bought altcoins at a very high price from 2018-2018 and they want to get back what was lost. Some go back to their original price and they cut loss and some never get their money back.

Well, they really have no idea on what and how bitcoin works, they just bought because of they thought they could earn easy money with it. They were locked up and can't sell it because they will be negative profit. Since then they have hated bitcoin because they are ignorant and didn't really tried to understand it.

That is not what I think the founders wanted it to achieve. However, we cannot deny the fact that the popularity bitcoin and other coins received is mainly because of the manifold increase in price only. A lot of people started investing seeing the returns or price growth only.

For some people who does not have any knowledge with holdings or investment, I'm sure that some of them have a little amount of patience especially when they got the false information such as investing will make you earn an easy money, your money will be doubled, etc. But ofcourse before engaging yourself with cryptocurrency, you must strengthen your foundation with it.
