Any person who is not patient he/she can not be a good trader.
A trader needs to be patience so that we can handle our situations when we trade. Because there are many different things than we thought when trading.

I think we also need some skills so that we can understand how to read the market so that we can not miss any profit easily.

I quite disagree to your first point, as in trading, there are some traders that trade in short term, and they called it scalping, but in there, you need to have a good amount of fund because of the trading fee. Basically, you don't need to be patient when you've bought a crypto, what you just need to do is to spot which crypto is building hype over the market and has the potential to increase in market price.

By the way, the skills that you need is classified in to two: The fundamental and technical analysis. Technical are more focused on understanding market graphs and pattern while fundamental is analyzing news and current state of the project.

Fundamental analysis implies technical analysis of anything, which means that it is more objective when used as an argumentative argument. In this case, we see a fairly obvious situation that has been repeated since 2008 approximately every 5-6 years. At the moment, just bitcoin will be assigned at the time of a critical situation in altcoins.

Discussing about why bitcoin still drop maybe have any change of rule and some big people try to make drama with bitcoin, they will give bad news to get bitcoin investment with lower price and always make good announcement when selling bitcoin assets. We can see why bitcoin suddenly could dump although have stronger position with higher price, waiting more than several weeks later for bitcoin recovery to higher price and get chance by some one to buy and invest with bitcoin in lower price.

Be patient and return to the mainland. Over the past 3 years, a lot of people have bought altcoins at a very high price from 2018-2018 and they want to get back what was lost. Some go back to their original price and they cut loss and some never get their money back.

But hodling your Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is sure safer than risking it in Trading. Well, that's because most of the people I think are just saving their altcoins and bitcoins waiting for the bull run since they don't know how to trade. Will you blame them? of course no. Looks easy to earn money with bitcoin as trading or investing but you must have knowledge when have to buy or sell bitcoin, when some hearing with bitcoin look very easy to get much profit but they don't care how many people lost much money after investing and trading with bitcoin or altcoin, some time many people looks terrible keep investing when some coin have reach maximum higher price without take care risk maybe bitcoin and altcoin will got dump, just thinking bitcoin keep going on to the higher price.

That is not what I think the founders wanted it to achieve. However, we cannot deny the fact that the popularity bitcoin and other coins received is mainly because of the manifold increase in price only. A lot of people started investing seeing the returns or price growth only.

However, after the recent dips , one can say that it does need a lot of patience to remain profitable with bitcoin investment.

For some people who does not have any knowledge with holdings or investment, I'm sure that some of them have a little amount of patience especially when they got the false information such as investing will make you earn an easy money, your money will be doubled, etc. But ofcourse before engaging yourself with cryptocurrency, you must strengthen your foundation with it. Don't take the risk if your knowledge with crypto is not enough because you will only lose your money and it is same with patience, if you're not better at waiting, maybe you are not yet ready for this.

It does not mean that having a patience of a hodler may lead him/her to a more generated income where each and everyone of us were dreamt off. Sometimes more income can be gained through a day trading but the drawback of it was a high risk that each every trader may take. We always have this saying here in forum that "patience is a virtue" but we do have our own techniques and strategy on how we trade well. At the end of the day its our self decision, and our own strategy will matters most.

Hodling of bitcoin truely is for the patient people. Bitcoin was very cheap early this year at below $5,000 but now above $10,000. This is a good investment for few months to double an investment. Hodling this year for deep buyers have been gainful. As an investor, you aim for low entry to sell at high for profit.
